Great little spot with big flavors! Vegetarian / vegan paradise. The meat eaters in our group loved it too 👍🏼
We tried the pupusas which were very cheesy, melted vegan cheese!
The oasis burrito was delicious with beans, rice, "carnitas", roasted veggies, and a great sauce.
Taquitos were also great- 4 piece and you can choose 2 different flavors- we went with "carnitas" and potato.
We got 2 kids meals: beans and cheese burrito with potato wedges, and kid burger with wedges.
Carrot cake was a good way to end the meal. The kids had ice cream sandwiches- ice cream smashed between warm, perfectly baked chocolate chips cookies.
Located behind the La Siera University campus. The cafe is shared location with a market.
Oasis is a Must visit when you're in the area for a healthy, delicious meal.

Love the vegan food options. It’s on the higher of price but I think the food is worth it. I love their carnitas tacos with double tortillas (you have to request that), lime and salsa!!! The pupusas and sopes are great as well! The plantains were amazing! Highly recommend this establishment.

Awesome place, ordered ahead of time and I signed up for there listing. Arrived with plenty of parking. Sat in my car and they sent me a text when my food was ready. Let me start off by saying that when I tried this place about 9years ago it wasn’t good. I moved to Portland, OR for those 9 years and came back. My sis and I decided to give them another chance. And OMG! I am so glad I did. What I had was so delicious and super healthy, it changed my perspective about them. I’ve tried their burger with the Oasis patty, mushrooms, and turmeric aioli. As well as their chickn burger, taquitos de papa and jackfruit. I always make it a combo with their baked potato wedges and ginger spritz. For dessert my go to is their chocolate cake. So if you’re in the La Sierra Riverside area, don’t hesitate to check them out!

Honestly, the plantain burrito is out of this world. I had it then I had to run it back again the next day just to make sure it wasn t a hoax and it was delicious the second time also had the oasis, veggie burger was also fire and the red pepper sauce, and the maple sauce is fire the sweet potato fries, is flames to Vegetarian options: Everything here was vegan or vegetarian. Best vegan food in Riverside! Large selection of dishes and drinks. Burritos are automatically made with wheat tortillas which is a great way to include whole grains in your meal. Many ingredients are organic. Food is served in compostable packaging. Only downside is the location is inconvenient.

I ordered my favorite wrap : carnitas and mushrooms and salad and that creamy white vegan sauce (I like extra ) a satisfying meal enough for two meals - crunchy chewy savory goodness . Always friendly service and attention to detail and personal preferences one of the great sandwiches out there ! Another favorite option is the roasted veggies with the carnitas - layers of texture and umami flavors . A new offering they have: a plantain burrito which I took as a bowl-- rice, black beans, sweet plantains, salad, avocado, crema and salsa, made for a satisfying array of textures and flavors. As a Puerto Rican Im accustomed to combining these elements and I appreciated the adventurous efforts by Oasis to deliver a unique taste experience. I wouldve preferred the plantains to be cut smaller and to be sweeter to contrast with the other savory ingredients but overall it was a tasty and nourishing entree. Had Oasis for the first time today. I had no idea it was down the street from me along with the market. I had the oasis burger with roasted veggies and my wife had the carnitas taquitos. Both excellent. I ll be trying the other items & editing as I go along. The staff were very friendly. A must try. Update: tried the tofu burger, pretty good. Tofu patty very well seasoned.

A vegan and vegetarian treat indeed. Our family had the opportunity to visit this true Oasis, and it did not disappoint. There was a dish for just about everyones liking. From burgers to pupusas and everything in between, they had all that we wanted. If the main course wasnt enough, the dessert was literally the icing on the cake... Its a must...

This place is such a gem. Treat yourself and your loved ones to food that will nourish your body and spirit all made from plants. If you have friends that are skeptical of vegan cuisine or you yourself are curious to try it this is the perfect place to go. I personally almost always get a burrito with carnitas, garlic herb mushrooms, and either the red pepper sauce or vegan cream. Never misses. You can also try the potato breakfast burrito with tofu and the jack stack, both also favorites of mine. They have a rewards program too so don t forget to sign up. Stay blessed and go vegan! Okay so I love the breakfast burrito however it has been getting decreasing unsatisfying. It is the eggs. Please guys go back to the old eggs. Or the old recipe you had last year. It was a classic. A staple. There is no reason to change it. The vegan eggs are not it. They are mushy and taste blame. I hate to even mention this cus this place is great.

We have been coming to Oasis Cafe since 2017, and they have made many changes, but this one is just disappointing. They used to load up the sandwiches before, but now there is only a thin piece of carnitas. I would have rather paid a dollar extra for the old quantity than this. Its not as filling like before. Also, I remember the carnitas taco having sour cream on top, but the one I got didnt.

Amazing taco bowl (as usual) today! And I took home two pieces of GF chocolate cake for my sweet tooth. I love this place ( only wish it wasnt 35 min from my house) ! Dietary restrictions: I am Vegan and GF (celiac disease). Its really hard to eat out, but the new menu at Oasis Veg Cafe will keep me coming back! The lentil soup was delicious and the new GF chocolate cake was the bomb !

Excellent food. Excellent prices. Vegan and vegetarian options. Friendly and patient service. Outdoor and indoor seating. We enjoyed a bowl with vegan cream sauce and jackfruit tacos with roasted vegetables and vegan cream sauce. Wheat free corn tortillas for the tacos. Jackfruit Taquitos and Potato Taquitos are yummy. Horchata and Ginger drinks were refreshing. Gluten free and vegan ice cream sandwiches, both mint chip and rocky road are yummy.

I m not vegetarian although I do enjoy vegetarian food every so often. Oasis makes their own meat substitutes and they are so good that there is nothing to be missed. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and every order I have received has been noticeably made and handled with care (great service, portion sizes, presentation). The location is a little far from me so I don t get to eat here as often as I would like to (just recently I decided to order delivery instead of take out) but it s so worth it whenever I do. I will always come back to this place.

Food is absolutely delicious, organic and vegetarian healthy. We had the taquitos, tamales, sopés and pupasas. Everything made perfectly. The guacamole has a ginger kick which is awesome. Their red pepper sauce is amazing. Their taquitos remind me of my mom s delicious recipe. Their tamale is so delicious, spicy and flavorful. We also ordered hibiscus tea which was perfect. Fantastic place to pick up some vegetarian/vegan dishes. The food and service is great. Eating outside or inside works fine, the only thing Id add is little ambient music to spruce up the atmosphere. Other than that, it is clean and a solid food option there at Oasis Cafe.

What a wonderful vegan restaurant! I had the carnitas burrito with the garlic roasted mushroom. Felt like splurging so I added avocado and coconut bacon. The combo was so bomb. I also got the carrot juice and it was so refreshing and delightful. I m just in Riverside for a short work trip but wish I live in the area so I can keep coming back T___T

Food was great. Really legit vegetarian. Flavors where sooo good. A lot of people coming for pick up only. Best to be here is Sunday afternoon. Why not eat healthy to finish the week? . They were kind, friendly and accomodating. The vegan crema was amazing! Like OMG with the fried plantain. Delicious! The carrot cake? Soo goood . Their bowls are so healthy. The kind of food that makes you feel good after your done eating. My first time here I tried their carnitas burrito , papusa , and their seasonal tamale . (Tamale was huge ) All were awesome. Their vegan cream is bomb and there hot sauce its literally fire .so much variety in the menu definitely coming back to try more. 5 stars Vegetarian options: All ingredients were fresh and took great effort to prepare Parking: A bit from the freeway but worth the drive Kid-friendliness: Connected to grocery store Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

A Gem at some place we never expected, just happened to be here Nice food, vegan / vegetarian but reasonable price compared to other places. We found rarely seen Jackfruit here. And many items that you dont find in a vegetarian restaurant in the US. Great food, great place, great people. Attached store is also great!! Hope more people go here to keep this place running

Let me start off by saying that when I tried this place about 9years ago it wasn t good. I moved to Portland, OR for those 9 years and came back. My sis and I decided to give them another chance. And OMG! I am so glad I did. What I had was so delicious and super healthy, it changed my perspective about them. I ve tried their burger with the Oasis patty, mushrooms, and turmeric aioli. As well as their chickn burger, taquitos de papa and jackfruit. I always make it a combo with their baked potato wedges and ginger spritz. For dessert my go to is their chocolate cake. So if you re in the La Sierra Riverside area, don t hesitate to check them out!

We ve been eating at Oasis since 2008 and they have continued to make their menu better, more fresh & *perfected their jackfruit, which isn t too spicy anymore & I ve been telling dozens of people about it over the past 2 years. Recently they went all vegan and are no longer offering dairy cheese, which is unfortunate. They said it was customers requests , but why change so drastically if it s not broken? Your business has been thriving since the 90 s. But I m not your business consultant. I m born and still am a vegetarian for 42 year s, never ate meat in my life - but we eat honey, often, and dairy when eating foods that taste better with real cheese. Not having that as an option when the signs says vegetarian, is again unfortunate. But nonetheless, Oasis is a 5 . Go try it & support vegetarianism. Namaste Vegetarian options: Only vegan now.

This was my second time coming to the Oasis Vegetarian Cafe and this time I brought a friend with me and this was her first time coming. I got the taco jackfruit bowl and she got the regular jackfruit bowl and the food was so delicious, tasty and the perfect amount of spiciness that we both really enjoyed. The person at the cash register Bianca (I believe that s her name), was so patient with me as I asked her all the questions about their food and she explained to me that basically everything they make is 100% made from scratch which I was really happy to learn. She has great customer service as well as the woman who brought our food to us as we dined in. I m so happy I discovered this place and my friend and I plan on coming back here in a week or 2 and to have this little tradition of eating their delicious food. The ice cream sandwich they have is also another lovely treat that we really enjoyed as well for dessert. My friend and I were thoroughly satisfied with everything and that s a huge thanks to the staff at Oasis Vegetarian Cafe. Thanks for sharing your amazing food to the public. :)

Wow. That new potato chorizo burrito they have is amazing. I chose the vegan cream as a sauce, and seriously... Litterally the best most high quality food Ive had in a long time. I was just passing through, dont even live in Cali, and Im glad I stopped here. Sweet potato fries, and iced hibiscus tea was perfect as well.

I ve been vegan for 8 years now and have been across the country and around the world to popular and well known vegan spots, and Oasis maintains to be my absolute favorite. The Carnitas burrito with vegan cream is my favorite meal, it is healthy, flavorful and filling. The carnitas are the best vegan meat I ve had and their vegan cream is the best sour cream replacement I ve found. This place deserves all the hype and love.

I love this place! The food is so yummy that it s probably a good thing I don t live close by. Service is great, the cashier who took my order was really nice. I had a $5 birthday coupon in which I used, I thought that was a nice gesture. Vegetarian options: I m completely plant based so it s hard to find places that cater to vegans. Oasis has so many options. Love it!

The food and service was amazing! My boyfriend got the blackened tofu sandwich with a smoothie, and I got vegan carnitas and potato taquitos with a chai latte. Both our meals were amazing, and we are definitely coming back. The service was also great, the employee we spoke to gave us recommendations and got our food out fast. Overall a great experience, definitely the best vegan food Ive had! Vegetarian options: Great variety of options for Vegitarians! LOVE LOVE LOVE this vegetarian restaurant!! The food is just awesome especially the bowl with organic eggs. The vegan cream is to die for as well as all of their sauces especially the turmeric!! I always order it with the cole slaw for a magnificent lunch!! I am never disappointed when I eat here!! And theres a full service vegetarian grocery store to boot (La Sierra Natural Market)!!
