My favorite hot pot place in the city. Really fresh ingredients, a huge menu selection, and the best sauce bar. And barbecue grills at the tables, too.

Ok first let me say this was the nastiest food i have ever enjoyed . But it is a 5 star restaurant to me . The servers could not understand us and we couldn t figure out how to order our food . But they were very patient and really a joy to get frustrated with. When we finally understood how to order it was a celebration for everybody . Then we were handed a table full or raw food we had to cook for ourselves. It was an interesting surprise but eventually we were all stuffed (i was disgusted but ate all my nasty cooking ) A bit pricey but well worth it . The memory alone was worth going back . As gross as it was i will return . Not to mention that it was past 11 pm when we arrived. Vegetarian options: You choose your food Kid-friendliness: The table has hot cooking surfaces . A toddler could be hurt but my 7 year old was fine

I dont want to be overly judgemental on this place, but there is much that could be done to help make it a little more... The seats are not the right type for the round tables. It is very awkward and makes you have to stand when cooking anything. Fresh meats, vegetables, noodles, and seafood. The ice cream cups make it seem like a cheap buffet. Great pricing for the ton of food you get! You will leave with a happy belly and money still in your wallet.

Affordable hotpot priced at $35 for a 90-minute session, allowing for 3 orders with 15 items per order. Exercise caution, especially with seafood options, as freshness may vary. While the food is average, the service is fast and attentive. Its ideal to visit with a group to fully explore the menu offerings.

Service would ve been zero stars. We were rushed to order coming in an hour before they close. Upon arrival we were informed 30 min before close was last call. Sat down 40 min til close, they made sure to inform us again last call. We were rushed to pay before done eating, mind you they weren t even closed it was 30 minutes before they hade close. We acknowledged but then was informed again. We were rushing to eat being courteous of the staff. After staff had urged us out impatiently again to finish our meal even after paying, we decided not to finish our meal and leave. Server was the asian red head guy with glasses. Never have we ever felt unappreciated and unwelcome. Had we not been rushed out we would have ate all our food and left.

Reasonable AYCE HotPot and KBBQ with great meat options, as well as some dimsum choices. Ordering is done on the phone; the 15 minute 15 dish limit is a little annoying but not a huge issue, and the ordering is fairly easy. Service is quick and the options are great. Will definitely be back

Mid Hotpot. Underwhelming. My biggest gripes: For a table, you can only order 15 items at a time. & Then you wait 15 minutes to put in another limited order of 15 items. - We asked for a bowl to transfer our hotpot broth so we can sip it and obvious not burn yourself. They didnt accommodate. Mid experience.

I think I ve been spoiled with other hotpot spots in other regions I ve lived or visited so I pot was good but not great. We didn t like the small amount you can order and have to wait 15 mins to order more policy. Overall the broth was good I got Chinese herbal and my bf Tomyum. They both had good flavor. Mine was lacking spice so i added hot chili oil and some salt to jazz it up. Sauce bar had most of everything you re looking for. Got seated at a timely manner. Service was overall decent. The reason why we weren t super impressed was the selection to order was decent but not great. They dont offer bowls to put the broth/ soup in so we transfer everything in our hotpot to a plate and dip it. If you want to sip on soup it s really hard to without risk of burning yourself straight from the hotpot. The meats were fine but didn t taste super fresh. The ice cream that was served at the end was good. They did give us some sort of discount. Without us complaining maybe because they saw we were underwhelmed so I appreciate that.

The first time I arrived at the store at about 2:15, he told me that the last call had been made and he was not allowed in. The attitude was very bad. Then I turned around and went to another hot pot that also closed at 3pm. That one received me very warmly. The second time I went in advance. When it arrived, I had only eaten half of it. He started urging me to give my credit card to settle the bill at 2:30. His attitude was also very bad. I would like to ask if you set the close time at 2:30, why bother writing 3:00?

My group of 9 came around 7pm and sat down but it took awhile before we got any service. We were all pretty cramped in a small booth. The servers didnt really explain things well so we were pretty confused at the beginning. The hot pot was good but the kbbq was just ok. Not a lot of marinated meats. Maybe thats why theres a sauce bar but I like my bbq meats marinated.

Update 3/17/23 Ordering is easy since its all via QR code. You get a limited amount of items every 15 minutes. We ended up doing both bbq and hot pot since there was 6 of us at the table. The round tables are a little inconvenient since the pot is a little far to one side, but thats the same with the bbq. We had to stand up to cook/grab food, but that wasnt too much of a hassle. ------ One of the better AYCE hot pot places. The price is GOOD and the menu is extensive. From BBQ items to dim sum, this place has a great range of food items. The make your own sauce station is great!! Also, its open late!

Will start this by saying I ate vegetarian when I visited Ipot. While they do have more veggie options than most hot pot places, I still don t think it s worth ~$40 for the ayce veggie hot pot. Definitely think it s worth it for meat eaters. For sides, our group really liked the green onion pancakes & Chinese donuts but didn t enjoy the chicken wings.

So what can I say about IPOT. It was different for me having to cook your own food. I enjoyed the experience, the food was good, the sauce bar had a lot of different sauces that I had no clue about and the restaurant it self was very clean. If you are with a BIG CROWD, be ready to use one phone to order everyone food and they do not separate the check. Oh if there is food left over you will have to pay an extra $20 wasting food fee person. Parking was ok just be ready to walk and make sure you make reservations. We did not have one but they were nice enough to accommodate us. I would have given them five stars but they do not explain mush to people who have never been there. Vegetarian options: Yes they do in the menu. Kid-friendliness: Kids will love how you cook the food other than on a stove.

The Food Hot pot restaurants are abundant in the area, but few are unique. IPOT seems to have brought a slight twist to create a different experience. IPOT has 3 pot types, the BBQ Pot, the Regular Pot, and the Chafing (split) Pot. My friend and I got the half grill, half soup BBQ pot, and the Regular Pot. We choose Salty Pork Bone w/ Winter Melon and Chinese Herb respectively for the soup base. For the meat, lamb and beef was the popular choice with a bit of pork. I got their BiangBiang Noodle because it seemed to be a must order. We also got a lot of miscellaneous selections from their menu along with some small dishes. The meat was very good, as well as the other ingredients, with good variety. They also have quite the selection for their sauce bar. I would return to this again if I get another hot pot craving. The Miscellaneous Despite the restaurant being quite big with a good amount of seating, there are long waits at peak hour. But the good thing is they do have a Yelp waitlist, so you can join the line via mobile. The service can slow down during peak hour with limited staff, but the service and staff was not bad. A good variety of selection on their menu for soup, ingredients, appetizers, drinks, and so on. It is not the most expensive hot pot restaurant, but is also not the cheapest. But with the quality and selection, it is a good place to experience.

If you have ever had authentic Chinese hotpot DO NOT COME HERE. Very disappointed, the food selections were very limited, portions were weird. They have this rule that you can only order 15 items every 15 minutes, never had this rule with any other hot pot restaurants before. Cups and table were sticky and dirty, DO NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

Review №102

Hygiene The sanitary conditions are very poor. You can look at the pictures I posted. As soon as I sat down, I saw the unidentified paste dried on the edge of the baking pan. It should be the sauce on the table, which was not cleaned up. The floor of the entire restaurant is sticky feeling, slippery when walking. Ingredients There are not many food options and many of them are sold out (should not be at all ) when we came before 6 oclock in the afternoon. The quality of beef is ok. Pork is not good. In addition, you can only order one order in fifteen minutes, fifteen items at a time, and the meal time is two hours. The portion of each dish is extremely small. Two shrimps per order. When the time is approaching, they will remind you to leave. Service The two waiters who came at the beginning were really rude. They had a wifi named ipot-guest, and customers should place orders by scanning the QR code. I asked him for the wifi password because the signal in the store was not good. The waiter impatiently said we dont have and walked away, confusing. Ask the other one, turn his head to look at us, and walk away . Parking Nowhere to park. Soup base General. Price Friday night $37.50 per person before tax.

Oh Ipot! Such high expectations, but such a big let down. For one, non of the prices were displayed online, leaving us clueless of prices. When we got our food, it was fine. Fine is the best word to describe it, nothing more what so ever. If your are looking for the hot pot experience and quality, don t go here. Again, the hot pot experience alone was just fine, like the food. But wait for this, we get the bill and it s 164.89 DOLLARS, CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?!?! I have never been to a hot pot place this expensive before and maybe if the food was out of this world it would have been worth it, but we only got 5 things split between 4 people. After being stunned by this insanely huge bill, we asked if you could use apple pay, No. What about splitting the bill? Nope. Ridiculous. I could go to another restaurant for the 4 of us for less than half the price, and better food. I pot? More like I not.

Positively the worst hot pot restaurant Ive been to in my life. I think its a race to the bottom in terms of ingredients and service. We tried all the meat none of which has any taste, they all had the same frozen plastic taste even after being cooked in soup and sauce added... it was that bad . Appalling food quality, they take absolutely 0 pride in their offerings. This is a lets make as much profit as we can and offer the base minimum in exchange establishment Cherry on top one of the waiters was belligerent beyond comprehension, the entire table was shocked by his behavior, it probably had to do with the fact that we has a big party and tip was included. One of the best hot pots in the city. Individual pots and a center KBBQ inspired grill really embraces the aspect of variety is the spice of life.

The experience was not up to the quality expected for the price. Soups and dishes were very heavily oil based. Meat was fresh and sauces were delicious again more oil.
