FunBurger & BBQ

I stopped by here yesterday to grab lunch. I came right when they open to avoid any lines. I found parking easily in the front of this place. When I walked inside, I was there first customer. I went with their Fun Smash burger combo with everything on the burger. While I was waiting for my order to be ready, I walked around the place and it seems like a nice place to watch sports or play games. It's pretty spacious inside and they also have outdoor seating as well. My food took about 10 minutes to be ready and I took it to eat across the street since my wife wanted to eat something else. I thought the Smash burger was good but the fries were not my favorite. If I was to come back, I would try their Tri tip bbq.

This is our third visit to Fun burger. We drive there for great food. We had one of the most delicious chicken burgers that I have ever tasted at Fun Burger. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the staff and owner. Fun Burger is a family run business. Tony and Opal have two locations. Tony shared the experience of the head cook Auralio. He has over 20 years cooking over a wood grill. Look at my photos. Everything is cooked using wood.

The BBQ chicken was soft with a crispy outside and a moist inside. The BBQ sauce is outstanding. Great job!

The Salmon was stupendous. The garlic and butter flavor was really good. Look at the pieces of garlic and sauce on the plate of the Salmon. The tri tip steak was moist and full of flavor. Look at the pics. Yum.

The sweet potato fries were soft inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. The macaroni and cheese was rich, creamy and savory. The chicken sandwich large bread came with pickles with fresh bread that melted in my mouth.

Fun Burger caters large events and I can understand why they are busy with their delicious food. The décor is festive with large screen all over that will have sports and everything needed to create a family atmosphere with delicious food.

I highly recommend Fun Burger for your next event or family night!

Everything went well!, the place is kept clean and gives off a sports bar feel to the place. They have an adjacent room with additional tables and arcade games and table games like foosball, Air hockey and hoops, so your kids can have fun while you watch the games (currently the Olympic Games) on the various large screen TV along the walls,

My server was friendly and professional and made me feel welcome.

I asked her for her recommendation and she recommended their tri-tip plate, so I ordered that along with their side of Fries, the Tri-Tips were yummy, their fries were also good it was crispy yet not dry and it was slightly seasoned. I also ordered their Brisket sandwich to go (my dinner) expect to pay for the sandwich, when I asked for the bill, she told me that she put it as my 2nd meal since I came alone and the events covers me and a guest. So I just gave her a big tip.

I would highly recommend this place, the neighborhood is in a good place, the atmosphere is family friendly , the service is friendly and professional. Food is yummy and reasonably priced. Try them out if you’re in the Valencia area.

Funburger was kind of fun but not our favorite of similar places. We're vegetarians so always excitded and appreciative when a burger restaurant offers an option for us. Funburger has a Beyond patty available, so we were in! My wife had the Beyond Fun Burger with a gluten free bun. (Thus ticking all of her boxes.) I had the BBQ Fun Burger (with a Beyond Patty). Both were good.

The fries were not great..coated (which we don't like) and definitely overcooked.

I liked that there were plenty of different kinds of beer options on draft.

They've got a ton of things on their menu...maybe too much...pizzas, ribs...all kinds of things beyond what you'd expect from a burger place...that may be appealing to some but gave me the impression a little bit like they're just throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks...the atmosphere and design of the dining rooms was a little all over the place too...a kind of sad, very minimal, arcade set up in one of the rooms. All in all a little too brightly lit.

The service was okay...the staff was friendly enough but also young and you get the sense (especially if you're getting all crazy and ordering vegetarian patty's on burgers or doing anything out of the box) that it's not quite what they're used to and it takes a little extra time and questions to make sure they've got down what you want.

There are a lot of other places in the SCV to get vegetarian burgers...most feel a little nicer and there was nothing particularly unique about Funburger that would have it edge itself out over the other available choices nearby.

Food was delicious! We absolutely loved the fries. Many interesting things on the menu. Can't wait to go back and try the avocado fries!! There was fun games to play so bring your quarters. A great place to bring your kids for a fun night out.

If I could, I would rate this place 3.5. The atmosphere seemed neat and the food was decent, but the prices and just ok service really determined the score. Cashier was pleasant, but not friendly, other employees hung out and had conversations at the cash register, including to our cashier, as we were ordering. The back room had a decent array of games and an air hockey table, which was nice to see. Had an issue with a game taking our tokens, which the staff replaced, but didn't put a sign up on the machine. Food was good (the garlic fries!) and it came pretty quickly. We went back for the soft serve dessert, since it was our child's birthday, and was given a small, two-fingers of ice cream - not at all worth the cost and nothing near the pictures someone else had posted. Very disappointing. Not sure if we will be back but overall it is an ok place. Might be better as a place to just have a drink and play some games than a place to bring the family as we did.

Went here after church this morning. Mom gets coupons in the mail for Funburger so we come, and we enjoy the food. It’s good quality burgers and their fries are really good! I recommend the garlic Parmesan fries! I really like that they have a refill station for fountain drinks. They just opened up the back game room and I got to check it out and they have arcade games in the back. They have some games that you can play for free like galaxian and Donkey Kong. This is a fun place to enjoy burgers, watch a game and get rowdy with friends.

Saying this place is great is an understatement. This is the kind of food that not only feeds your stomach but it feeds your soul. The burgers were made fantastically with a classic spin to them and the shakes were overwhelmingly delicious. highly recommend. Looked up a spot that would have food and games, found this place, and was immediately disappointed. The arcade is super small and only 2 of the games were working. It was completely empty save for my family of 3. Didnt bother to stay for food so Im not going to comment on that. Maybe people like this place as more of a sports bar? Idk. At least they refunded the money i wasted on the tokens I got. Wont be back unfortunately.

I m not one to write reviews but this place is the worst place I ve ever been to. Nobody acknowledged us the guy at the register just told me to sit down and no one came. Jennifer was the only waitress and never once came to our table but did see us. Had to walk up to get beers and she said she d give them to me in a second which she didn t but when she came to serve us she walked right past us. Food was under cooked. Wouldn t recommend this place at all.

Wow!! this is one of the best restaurants in SCV! They get all their beef from a local rancher and it is amazing quality. That alone sets them apart. The service was fast, the atmosphere was on point, and we will definitely be back. The tri tipp and brisket were incredible. I can t believe we haven t gone sooner. This is your sign to go!

I just had my bday in the backroom and its perfect! I had party of 40 they have free games and huge television screens. And the food was fantastic the bbq chicken was moist. The brisket was my favorite amd everyone loved the pulled pork. Also the ceaser salad was so fresh. The staff was so great and personable this place is awesome definitely recommend for big parties

The cost of the food is far beyond the quality. The service is at best a 2, they are more interested in getting you put of their face. Fries are greasy, burgers are okay and chicken is not edible. The restaurant is always dirty and has a weird smell. When they first open everything was good, now its like they just gave up.

I had never been to this place before and came here just because my car battery died in the parking lot to escape the heat. I was met with the smiling and energetic face of Kevin who was sooo sweet and friendly. I decided to stay for a drink and make a new friend. My husband met me here and we had a few drinks and shared the cali fun burger and Parmesan garlic fries. The atmosphere was great, seems like a good place to bring the whole family. There is an arcade room, and lots of TVs to watch any game. My husband was pleasantly surprised with how many beers on tap were available. And the food was great. Above everything the service was so friendly, Kevin is awesome and Jenn was so sweet. This place was not busy, and I think as an OG Santa Claritaian we need to keep this place open. They are awesome! Kid-friendliness: They have an arcade and great kids meals. And shakes and ice cream.

Awesome place. First time and soon to be regular customer. My wife s car battery died and she came in for a drink to escape the heat while I drove from canyon country to jump (ended up replacing) the battery. Kevin was an amazing server. He was very attentive while I fixed the issue with the battery and came back to an ice cold water and beer. They have an entire wall of beer and bottles of wine at good prices. We ended up getting the Cali fun burger and it was one of the best burger I ve had in a minute! Thank you Kevin and staff for everything. Vegetarian options: Beyond burger/salads/pizza

UPDATED:I have mixed feelings about FunBurger. I came here with my family today, and they just so happen to have a car show, so it was pretty crowded. We ordered our food, waited a bit, and then the waitress brought food out that wasnt ours. When I told her that was the correct number, but not the right food, she never went to check out what happened. About 10 or so minutes later, I went in, and the gentleman at the register refunded me and got me our food. Thank you! The food was good, not great. I was very disappointed with the fries. I got a Cali Burger, my husband a BBQ burger, and our son the chicken nuggets. The nuggets and burgers were tasty, but I would never order the fries again. I think it would be better to go at a time when they were less packed. UPDATE: I came here with my son about a month ago. We were in the area and wanted to try Fun Buger again. My son enjoyed his pizza, and my sandwich was mediocre. The service was not great.

It was late Sunday afternoon and I was pretty hungry after running the RC cars at Hot Rod hobbies down the street and stumbled upon this place.. I actually did not order a burger but went with the baby back ribs which came with Texas toast style garlic bread, drink and a salad. The ribs were to die for, super good as well as everything else. Kevin was very helpful and checked on us frequently throughout our meal topping off our drinks and brought over a few different bbq sauces to try. The place was very nice and clean and had several rooms with various arcade games and such to play including large screen TVs. It was much like a sports bar, but with fantastic food and a great staff. There is no doubt I will return soon and I highly recommend you stop by as well, I guarantee you will be more than satisfied. Also, I want so say, the chef, Aurellio (I probably did not spell his name correct, sorry) is quite talented and it was my pleasure to get to meet him. Nice job, thx guys!

The fun Burger classic was okay. Nothing extraordinary here. $8 I think. On the positive side, if you come in here for a game night, with one of the ball games on, then the food isnt that bad I suppose. I ordered mine to go, because honestly I thought this was just a Burger shack type place from Google maps. I was under the impression that you just ordered at the counter, and then they call your number. Kind of like a self-serve type spot. Instead, I didnt realize this was a full-blown restaurant and sports bar. I didnt have the time to sit down and get the full experience, but ordering to go, I think the waitresses missed their Mark though. If they just would have made a little extra effort to ask a couple questions when placing the order, I would have tipped them... nicely. For instance, the girl who helped me brought out my order in a to go bag. She could have easily said, can I get you some napkins? Did you want ketchup? Or she could have even just said the basics like, your burger is in the bag. Its just the burger. Is there anything else you need? Instead what I got was a burger inside of a box. There were no napkins, no condiments like ketchup or mustard, nothing. In most cases, wouldnt your average customer just grab the bag and walk out the door, hoping that when they got home, everything like basic necessities would have been in the bag? Napkins at least. Utensils?... hello? I mean what if I was going to be driving, and wanted to eat the burger in the car? Just saying. Keep in mind, my experience is probably an anomaly for this place. Their regular crowd Im sure is the game night type who comes in here for a sports game. But for someone whos getting Uber Eats, or just coming into the place themselves, I have to say keep your guard up, and ask a bunch of questions when you place your order of what youre getting in the box, if you need to ask for condiments like ketchup and mustard on the side, and definitely tell them to put napkins in the bag.

Stood there like an idiot for 5-10 minutes. Absolutely nobody addressed me or my mother. Tried asking employees and they said they had to clean a table then would seat us. Same employee just continued doing other things. Didn t clean the table. No sign that says seat yourself or wait to be seated. Absolute joke of a restaurant. I have no idea how this place gets business.

Food was good . They should mention that the coleslaw is put on the bbq brisket. Doesnt mix well with bbq sauce. Service was slow, had to wait about 10 minutes just to get a menu and 15 minutes just to get the check. Wasnt even busy. But I will be back. Basically to see if they pay a.y attention to the reviews

Funburger was kind of fun but not our favorite of similar places. Were vegetarians so always excitded and appreciative when a burger restaurant offers an option for us. Funburger has a Beyond patty available, so we were in! My wife had the Beyond Fun Burger with a gluten free bun. (Thus ticking all of her boxes.) I had the BBQ Fun Burger (with a Beyond Patty). Both were good. The fries were not great..coated (which we dont like) and definitely overcooked. I liked that there were plenty of different kinds of beer options on draft. Theyve got a ton of things on their menu...maybe too much...pizzas, ribs...all kinds of things beyond what youd expect from a burger place...that may be appealing to some but gave me the impression a little bit like theyre just throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks...the atmosphere and design of the dining rooms was a little all over the place too...a kind of sad, very minimal, arcade set up in one of the rooms. All in all a little too brightly lit. The service was okay...the staff was friendly enough but also young and you get the sense (especially if youre getting all crazy and ordering vegetarian pattys on burgers or doing anything out of the box) that its not quite what theyre used to and it takes a little extra time and questions to make sure theyve got down what you want. There are a lot of other places in the SCV to get vegetarian burgers...most feel a little nicer and there was nothing particularly unique about Funburger that would have it edge itself out over the other available choices nearby.

Food is terrible. Everything is way too greasy, onion rings have no flavor, wings were terrible. Forgot parts of our order, messed up on the burgers. Service is mediocre at best. When you ask for utensils for the table, you dont bring mainly spoons! Lots of room for improvement.

Tried this place tonight and not impressed at all. The service was good but the food....meh. I ordered a funburger w/ cheese and bacon and fries. The fries were overcooked and too salty. They were hard and crunchy. Tbh, Weinerschnitzel has better fries. The burger was so bland. I mean no seasoning at all! I guess they used all the salt on the fries. And it was undercooked. There is a sign that says you have to request well done, so I did. I got a medium burger. Yuck. All in all, Id rather drive to Fatburger. Fun Burger was definitely not fun! $20 wasted.

If I could, I would rate this place 3.5. The atmosphere seemed neat and the food was decent, but the prices and just ok service really determined the score. Cashier was pleasant, but not friendly, other employees hung out and had conversations at the cash register, including to our cashier, as we were ordering. The back room had a decent array of games and an air hockey table, which was nice to see. Had an issue with a game taking our tokens, which the staff replaced, but didnt put a sign up on the machine. Food was good (the garlic fries!) and it came pretty quickly. We went back for the soft serve dessert, since it was our childs birthday, and was given a small, two-fingers of ice cream - not at all worth the cost and nothing near the pictures someone else had posted. Very disappointing. Not sure if we will be back but overall it is an ok place. Might be better as a place to just have a drink and play some games than a place to bring the family as we did.

Went here after church this morning. Mom gets coupons in the mail for Funburger so we come, and we enjoy the food. It s good quality burgers and their fries are really good! I recommend the garlic Parmesan fries! I really like that they have a refill station for fountain drinks. They just opened up the back game room and I got to check it out and they have arcade games in the back. They have some games that you can play for free like galaxian and Donkey Kong. This is a fun place to enjoy burgers, watch a game and get rowdy with friends.

Overall the service ruined the experience. Been several times and all times would receive strange glares from the girls at the register as if we dont belong there and are not welcomed. When ordering food or asking questions about the menu they would give a how am I supposed to know attitude, its understandable if they arent familiar with the menu but they would just stand there instead of seeking for assistance as well as making very rude comments. Ordered a burger and added cheese and cashier would respond with a are you done? Didnt know adding cheese to a burger was an insult. Also very long waits, waited 1 hour for order to be ready with being there during a slow time. Made us feel extremely uncomfortable and just very upset from the way we were treated each time. The staff doesnt make guests feel welcomed. Wanted to support a new business but unfortunately their service is making it difficult.

Tried the signature burger, son had the BBQ burger. My son liked the BBQ burger- consistent flavor and texture from start to finish. Excellent quality beef, well seasoned and cooked. Brioche bun matched the burger well. My signature burger was above average. Beef quality was excellent. The bun was good quality, but far too much bread for this burger. Maybe a double or something with bacon, avocado, egg etc would have been a better match. Tried the fun fries, a lightly battered fry, and the onion rings. Both average at best. Coke Zero from the fountain was flat, watered down and... was actually Diet Coke, not Coke Zero. Server who brought our food asked if we wanted ranch, we enthusiastically answered, yes! Never saw her again. It was busy and there may be growing pains, but at about $40 for a couple of burger combos didnt love it overall.

Ive been here a couple times with different groups of people. The menu is vast so I havent seen anywhere near all of it. The people are fantastic, really nice staff, but the service (both times at lunch) seemed slow and understaffed. The beer selection is good and has interesting selections that you dont see at other places, that was nice, but more information on the beers would be helpful as many are small brewers, so youre kind of shooting blind as far as what youre going to get. But they are happy to give samples, this is helpful, but time consuming. The Parmesan Garlic fries have proven to be the real stand out here. They are friggin great, but can get a little soggy -- maybe a little less of that garlic sauce? If the fries could stay crisp in that bath, Id say keep it as is, but soggy fries at the bottom just arent fun. So thats mostly good stuff. The reason for the 3 star is the burgers.. The fancy dressing done to them is very good, no complaint there, but the meat is pretty boring and smallish considering the large bready bun. I think for a place that seems to be kinda ringing the gastro pub bell, that is a huge miss. The beer cheese burger sauce is tasty but makes the burger into a mess (read that as sloppy joe messy), I have seen this item ordered by 3 different people (one of them was me) and on all occasions the person with that burger has had to ask for silverware. I have no problem with a messy burger, but if youre going to serve something like this, come on, nobody can eat that with bare hands... Just assume we need the fork and knife and keep us from waiting at the counter for the over worked and under staffed (but quite friendly) people to get it for us, ok? Long review, sorry. There is a lot to say. Over all the place is ok, but falls short in a few important ways. Please, get better beef. For all the great flavors, the boring and small meat shine through and kind of kills the vibe. And again -- Silverware if you know its a sloppy mess... Please?!

John my man!! Thanks for your hustle. When everyone else forgot about us you came through The Cali was ordered well done came out pink. Thanks for running it back to the kitchen twice because they forgot about the cheese.. We had also ordered some mushroom fries which they ran out of and the first server said he would put in an order for green beans that were forgotten about.. Again John came out quickly with a steaming hot order after I reminded him. He apologized and comped us 2 slices of cheesecake. The 4 and 3 star reviews Ive read are truthful, therefore give them a shot when they arent so busy. Basically, avoid lunch and dinner. A lobby attendant to tend to the lobby at all times would be a good idea. The tables should be wiped down and the floors are a bit messy. But overall when they got the Cali burger right it was definitely delicious. The green bean fries were also delicious accompanied by the ranch, great seasoning and taste. Will come back. Hope you guys success at this this location.

He has amazing seasoning salt that makes food taste delicious, also Mr.Salt and Pepper are available to assist you. I needed to change my order but I had to wait about 5 minutes, the cashier disappeared and no one could help me. However l left my bank card in the machine and an employee returned it to me immediately. As l stated earlier the atmosphere is beautiful and l think all ages will enjoy a visit and the prices are very reasonable. However you get what you pay for!

I was excited to try a new burger place, but Im overall disappointed with my visit to FunBurger. I visited on Sunday January 29th 2023 with my wife and some people from my softball team. When we walked in, it seemed like a pretty chill place. Lots of people were sitting at the bar, but the place itself wasnt overly full. There was plenty of staff. They had the football game on and there were plenty screens around the place to watch. There are plenty of food and drink options, so it took me awhile to decide what I wanted. I opted for their pretzel burger with beer cheese and my wife tried to order the signature burger. She was told they dont have the signature burger, so she ordered the original instead. Other than that, we got a side of garlic fries. Additionally, we also ordered two beer flights; one for me and one for her. I guess a guy related to the owners was at the bar. He was trying to recommend beers to us based on our preferences because there were so many beers to choose from. Our server was also nice enough to give us samples of certain beers before we assembled our flight orders. The food and beer came out to about 50 bucks, which I thought was pretty steep. I was willing to overlook the price if the food was great though. We found an open table, but I had to wipe it down because it was left unkept by previous costumers. We watched the game while we waited for our food. After some time, a waiter brings our food to our table and I immediately realize my burger didnt come on a pretzel bun. I inquired about the bun and the guy tells me, Oh, actually we are out of pretzel burgers. Sorry. I tried not to get worked up about it. I simply replied, man I wish someone would have told me about that when I placed my ordered. I was left with a burger that had a ton of messy beer cheese on a regular bun. It was way too much beer cheese and that was all I could taste. It just didnt taste right and overall it was super hard to eat without a ton of napkins nearby. My wifes burger meanwhile didnt even have cheese nor did they ask her if she wanted cheese when she ordered it in the first place. Yes, it doesnt specify cheese on the menu for her burger, but most places at least ask. We get half-way our burgers and fries, but the beer hadnt arrived yet. We had to go up to the counter to see what the hold up was. Kind of makes sense to get the beer before the food, no? At the very least, it would have been nice to get it with the food. We finally get the beer and then we realize they put a beer in there that we didnt order, so I had to say something to get our missing beer. Meanwhile, the guy that is supposedly related to the owners, comes to our table and askes us how our experience is so far. I told him, honestly, its not great. I told him about my burger mishap and that it took forever to get our beer. Instead of offering a solution, he tells me something along the lines of, thanks for the feedback, Ill tell the owners. So they can work on these issues for the future. Im paraphrasing here though. So once again, Im just disappointed with my experience and was hoping for more. I get that they are relatively newer and their service will probably improve with time, but my experience just wasnt good enough for me to give them another shot. Their burgers were just OK, but not good enough to justify the price and slow service. I mentioned earlier that there were tons of staff, so it doesnt make sense that the service was so slow. On a side note, the restaurant itself was extremely bright. I kind of wish they would tone down the lights a tad. The beer selection was great and the staff were friendly. There are definitely better burger places in the SCV. For my money though, Id rather go to The Stand. They are close by, offer better burgers, better service, still have a beer selection, and I can still catch a game.

Decided to try a new place tonight and notice this burger joint that me and my girlfriend had not noticed before. When arriving the establishment was extremely clean and smelled heavenly. We ordered the avocado fries,garlic fries, and two Cali burgers the avocado fries were perfectly fried and had a great crisp on the outside. The garlic fries were outstanding and came as a bigger portion than originally thought. The two burgers were cooked perfectly and very tasty. We took the order home and ate at home but the vibe inside the establishment was pretty cool with some free video games and a pretty good beer selection I would definitely recommend and have already told friends about it hope the place sticks around for years to come.

My family and I had been to the Simi Valley location when we were in the area, so we were really excited to have a location open closer to home in SCV. We love the laidback family-friendly sports bar feel - the games keep the kids busy while the large TV screens entertain the adults. We went when they first opened this location, and we got the Cali Fun Burger, Chickfun spicy sandwich, and the kids ordered the tiny trio sliders. We also ordered a side of garlic Parmesan fries, the fun shake with sprinkles the kids shared, as well as a boozy shake my husband and I shared. Everything was amazing, we were all happy!! Also love that they have such a great selection of beers and ciders. The staff were also super friendly. Definitely check out this wonderful spot!!

I went to the Santa Clarita location. ( 1st time here) The food is great. I had the Veggie burger and it was tasty, their fries are hot and crispy and their chocolate shake was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly. ( T.Vs music) friendly people. The establishment was clean and organized. I highly recommend Fun Burger. I definitely will go back.. Parking: Lots of parking. Great food, great service, killer burgers and best of all the beer selection is second to none! Im an old school video gamer so I loved the free 80s video games as did my kids. Kept them busy while me and the wife enjoyed an excellent imported draft beer on tap. Also to note bathrooms were very clean. Highly recommend Fun Burger and welcome to our Valencia community!
