I was recommended this place by a few friends from a Facebook posts asking what are some good places in Santa Clarita. This one had the most votes so I decided to go on date night with my husband. The hostess and our waiter were amazing. Very pleasant to talk to and our waiter was so attentive. The food on the other hand was not the best I’ve ever had. The ribs were a little dry, the mac and cheese were not cheesy enough for me and coleslaw lacked flavor, but my husband did enjoy the mac and cheese. The veggies served with my dish very tasty and interesting because I’ve never seen green scallions served with ribs before. Other than that, the atmosphere and restaurant was very nice. Might come back to give it another shot.

First, the offer Military/Veteran discount. Thanks for honoring our Vets! BBQ Nirvana. Everything here was good! The Roundup is more than enough food for three. The Tri Tip was outstanding. It had good flavor, was tender and cooked perfectly. The baby back ribs and beef ribs were just about fall off the bone delicious. The sides (Mac n Cheese) and vegetables were great. The onion straws on the top of the food was a great addition. Our server, Justina, was awesome.

I enjoyed this place! Its hard to find good bbq outside central states this is my new place i must go when im out here
-Food portions were good- i wish mac and cheese portions were bigger everything else on my plates was + sized ( only complaint i can think of)
-Waitress/staff were great waitress was on top of everything i forgot to ask for ranch passing by waitress said ill get it no attitude she grabbed it with a smile must be a non hostile work environment…hard to find
Food came out fairly quickly and freshly hot
Prices are really good when you consider taste and portions
I will be recommending this place to everyone i know!

Amazing food, great service. First time trying this place. Everything was exceptional. Ordered the round up platter, and it came with baby back and beef ribs, tri tip, and chicken, as well as shredded onion and two sides. It was huge and beyond amazing. I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed. We enjoyed it so much that we placed a to go order for our family members at home.

First time trying Rattler’s and had a mostly positive experience but encountered a few issues/critiques with our meal/experience:

- French fry portions were pretty small
- Mac n Cheese came out lukewarm
- One of the cocktail drinks wasn’t properly mixed and was extremely overpowering.

However, our sever was attentive and addressed all concerns within her control, swiftly. Overall, the food was tasty and made for a BBQ establishment worth returning to.

Greeted by fresh hot garlic rolls, the smell of wood-fire grilling, makes you feel at home. Our first visit found my chicken a bit dry, but the staff was quick to make it right. My husband, the bean connoisseur, fell in love! Most recently, I have become obsessed w/the buffalo wings, just perfectly cooked. Also, I must order the refreshing watermelon lemonade. My husband loves the cowboy burger or BBQ chicken sandwich & onion strings.
We are always impressed with the service here, just exceptional!

The rolls were so delicious that we ate 2 before I could even grab a photo! Food was very flavorful, juicy, had the tri tip and chicken breast. BBQ sauce was on point. The nutty coleslaw side was a solid pick! Loved the music playing at the restaurant, totally my jam. The best part though? Eric our server! He was extremely attentive, made great suggestions, wasn't pushy with anything, and just all around phenomenal service.

Ordered the bbq beef sandwich with Mac n cheese and baked beans. The sandwich was full of fatty pieces. Had to send the Mac n cheese back cuz it was cold and it came back still cold but with an additional scoop. First time there probably won t be back. The salads were great.

We visited for an early dinner on a weekday afternoon and were seated promptly despite the steady flow of patrons. This was our first time dining here, and we were delighted by the exceptional service provided by our server, Enio. He was highly accommodating and attentive, offering thoughtful recommendations on menu selections. We followed his suggestions, and each dish exceeded expectations. The margarita was expertly crafted, and the beef ribs were exceptional generously portioned and perfectly cooked, though we could only manage two of the massive ribs! The garlic rolls were a standout, and the cheesecake made for a delightful end to the meal. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience. The food was outstanding, but the impeccable service made it truly memorable. Thank you to our excellent host, Enio. We look forward to returning for another rib night!

I have never been here, or live here anymore. So my cousin took me and the food was AMAZING. We had the Tri tip meal with twice baked potatoes and Mac n cheese. And the roll????? Omgosh, delicious. Very pleased.

BBQ Tri-tip and house BBQ sauce is the best. And dont forget the garlic rolls and nutty cole slaw also our favorites. Been eating Rattlers bbq every time I come up to visit family in Santa Clarita and it has been our family tradition for over 35 years. I do miss the original location though as it has a more rustic atmosphere.

Where to begin, to start the service is sub par our waitress Adilene s service or lack there of was horrible. I don t know what the hiring process is but to be a waiter or waitress that would require you to have some sort of people skills. She s rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Her attitude is very juvenile, and to add to the unprofessionalism the food is disgusting. I asked for well done and everything was undercooked and cold. If someone tells you the food is undercooked as an employee you don t mock the customer. Disgusting attitude which is reflective of her and disgusting food. Stick to woodranch this place has nothing going for them .

Ive been here multiple times for dine in and decided to order a family pack for a birthday party I was hosting. Im unfortunately very disappointed with the food. Im not sure what happened this day, but the chicken was burnt and very dry. I also asked for bbq on the side, and they still added bqq on the tritip and chicken. I had to pick up something else for those that dont like bbq sauce (why I asked for it on the side). I also had to wait an extra 15 minutes since my order wasnt ready but was offered extra bread. Im sad to say, I unfortunately will not be ordering pick up anymore.

I love this place! It has a great atmosphere. The employees are so nice and helpful. They greet you when you come in. I recommend ordering the round up if you dine in or take out for a family of 4. The manager is so nice he will resolve any issues you have. Parking: This is a large shopping center with multiple parking spaces and disabled parking as well.

We used Rattlers Catering for a private event. The pricing is pretty good for what is offered, especially considering they offer to include plates, napkins, serving utensils, etc. for free. The suggestions provided by their catering staff were very helpful, and they responded to requests quickly. They even followed up to see if I was going to place an order with them so they could guarantee the delivery date and time. Delivery was just a bit early, which I actually appreciate. Everything went smoothly and the staff member was very helpful in explaining everything and pointing out what was included. Hot foods arrived hot and cold foods were still nice and cold. It was definitely worth the delivery fee. Of course, their food is always very good. As requested, everything was pre-cut for quick, easy serving, and the selection was perfect for our group. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We will definitely keep Rattlers Catering in mind for future events!

I have never had anything here that i was impressed with other than the chicken. the bread was always over-rated, and it hasnt gotten any better. the beef always seems tough and overdone. I had some beef ribs there recently that Im sure were past their date. the salmon is comparable to freezer microwave salmon. sides are meh. the chicken is consistently juicy but flavorless, which is fine if you smother it in bbq sause. their salads are okay too. We ordered take out for 8 people and we definitely bought too much. We bought food for 8-10 people and it came with 3 sides. I can honestly say that if you are a normal portion person, you won t need as much. The tri tip was absolutely delicious and the chicken was pretty good. If given the choice, go with the baby back ribs because the beef ribs are all bone, little meat and not worth the money. The Mac & cheese is basic commercially produced and lacks flavor. The mashed potatoes were fire and definitely a second helping kind of side dish. Their garlic rolls are so fluffy and so yummy that I had to have a second. Their staff was amazing and made ordering easy. I would recommend this restaurant but can t recommend the beef ribs or the Mac & cheese. Vegetarian options: They had several salad options available which was nice to see at a BBQ restaurant. We ordered the large Cesar and it was enough for 4 people as a side. Wheelchair accessibility: They have plenty of handicap spots in front of the restaurant

Never disappointed with their service - wait time for our party of 7 was not long. Once we were seated, our server was A1 - never rushing us and quick to answer any questions we asked. Our meals were delicious and with their rolls offered a very filling dinner. The only downside, like everywhere else, was their prices.

Very convenient place to eat - we ordered the beef ribs - pork ribs and tri- tip combo. Meat was really tender and very flavorful - the watermelon lemonade was awesome - not too sweet and absolutely delicious place has a touch of western theme. Oh and the garlic rolls melt in your mouth.

First I have to give a big Thank You ! To Cindy, our server! When we first got there, she had just taken our drink order when she was aggressively harassed by another server! I easily overheard the other server come at her with a problem that should ve been addressed privately. The young woman was really nasty to her but, when Cindy came to serve us she was kind and polite. She didn t let what happened affect her mood or great service! The food was good and well proportioned. We were glad we stopped by on this Good Friday and will come back again.

We came here to watch the 2nd half of the super bowl 24 l. They gave us a booth by the bar, closer to the TVs. (I called like maybe 30 min ahead to make sure they had the game on, and they reserved the booth for us, awww thank you- customer service is great) They started us with the garlic rolls? It was delicious bread dipped and doused in garlic butter and herbs. It was soooo good but had to keep calm and save room for the BBQ. We ordered the roundup which is like a 2-3 person sharable with baby back and beef ribs, tri tip, juicy bbq bone in (boneless is an option) chicken, topped with their shredded onions. The food was delicious and filling! Def had extra meats still with 3 people sharing. Staff are nice and helpful.

We ordered the round up to go, it states it is supposed to feed 2-3 people, while the meat we got was enough to feed 2-3 people the sides they included with this enough to feed 1.5 people, so I had to order 2 additional small sides for $10 on top of the $62 already paid for the Roundup. In talking to the host she stated that when you order the Roundup in, the portions are a good size. I think they should bumb the 2 6oz sides to 12oz so it is actually enough to feed 3, or change the amount of people it serves is 2

You know I wanted to share my experiences with rattlers growing up in the Santa Clarita Valley. We moved here in 1986 actually Castaic but anyway, rattlers has been a staple and I ve never been let down by them. Their food is always delicious. Their service is great while their prices have gone up just a little bit everywhere else that has to I still enjoy eating here And honestly they make a really good burger. I love the chicken I love the tri-tip. They all taste wonderful, I ve never had a bad experience. They are my favorite restaurant in the Santa Clarita Valley. Maybe even Los Angeles because I don t go anywhere lol.

Vegetarian options: Its a BBQ resturaunt. There are veggie options but, I wouldnt recommend for a primarily vegitarian group. Kid-friendliness: This is great for families and groups with kiddos.

I am not a person who likes bbq sauce at all, but the bbq sauce here is absolutely amazing. All the food is always cooked perfectly. I dont live in California but every time I visit this is one of my go to spots for a delicious meal.

Pretty good Texas BBQ at this joint. Anytime Im in the area to visit and hungry, this is one place that always comes to mind. Sometimes the service can get busy, but its reasonably priced and tastes good for all ages. Kid-friendliness: My kids enjoyed the food.
