I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!! everything about our experience was above and beyond. we did not have to wait to be seated, and the portion sizes were very generous. Our server was fast, sweet, caring, and funny, i wish i knew her name to personally thank her. Hash browns were super crispy, and the jam that came with the toast was so good we took the small amount leftover home because we didnt want to waste even a single drop. We had leftover chicken fried chicken and it kept pretty crispy when we ate it as leftovers later that day. We hope to be back again someday

This is a great place for breakfast. It’s classic breakfast diner food. The prices are descent and comparable to most diner type places in the area. The food comes out super quick and on weekdays there is always plenty of seating. Atmosphere is more like a hotel lobby cafe and not like a breakfast diner but the omelets have always hit the spot and been great.

This place is very traditional. The food and atmosphere is nice and quick, everything comes very fast. They seat you quickly and serve your food quickly. The workers and very nice and comforting. The food is really good and they have big portions so be careful with how much your order! The cinnamon rolls are super good although eat them quick because they get stale.

Went here today for my birthday. I ordered everything I wanted; biscuits and gravy, sausage links, hash browns, eggs, and French toast. It was heavenly. The sausage was top quality 👌. The biscuits and gravy were bomb AF. The waitress was very helpful. I could not finish it all but it was fantastic.

My husband suggested this diner for a Valentine's Day breakfast, it was our first time there and it was SO romantic... They had jazz playing in the background, it was straight out of a movie scene. There isn't anything particularly fancy about the restaurant in itself, it did have hints of rustic farm decor and it was clean, warm and the music was such a cute touch.
Our hostess was very nice and not offended when I requested something be warmed a little longer.. I appreciated that very much. I loved that they offered half servings of certain side dishes. We ordered some mozzarella sticks to try out and they were delicious. The food was good but I will remember the ambiance & the service more than anything. Would try again for sure. 💕

You've gotta love a one-off local breakfast restaurant with a fun name, the friendliest staff, and a nice alternative to the chain breakfast spots and diners that dot the land. If only the food had been better to round out the experience.

My son and I had breakfast here while my car was being worked on nearby. It's a seat yourself first-come-first-serve kind of place which, I guess makes it easier for them, but does create a little bit of a Mad Max / Everyone for themselves kind of atmosphere when it's full and many people are hovering over the dining areas waiting to swoop in on an almost available table.

The coffee was not good. Weak and definitely in the "browned water" category. Coffee is the foundation of a breakfast restaurant, and if you're serving weak joe at a place like this, it's time to re-evaluate what you're doing altogether.

Navigating the menu is easy enough...it's nicely designed...but there are so many upcharges for everything. You kind of get the sense if you want a different work, there will be an extra fee for that.

I had a Vegetable and Cheese Omelet made with egg whites (upcharge.) Despite all the ingredients included, there wasn't a whole lot of flavor to this and the egg whites were overcooked.

I had a biscuit for my bread option. They drench these in oil or butter and fry them on the grill before bringing them to you, completely eliminating the flakey biscuit-ness of the biscuit which came overwhelmed with the flavor of the grill. This was easily the worst biscuit I've had and after a couple of bites I couldn't finish it.

The home fries I had it with were good. Easily the star of the meal (but the bar was low.)

My son had French Fries and a Cinnamon Roll. He liked the fries, so if you're coming here potato-forward, you're probably in good shape. The cinnamon role, however, was very dry and he couldn't finish it either. (How rare is it for a kid to not be able to finish a dessert like this?)

We also had a side of fruit which included watermelon, cantaloupe, oranges, two kinds of grapes, and strawberries. This was a nice variety of fruit and a fairly generous portion compared to what we've seen other places The oranges, grapes and cantaloupe were good. The watermelon was just slightly past its prime, and the strawberries were a bit sour.

The best part of the experience was our server who was very attentive and super-sweet. I wish the food had lived up to the vibe she brought to the table.

There are plenty of other breakfast places to go to in the Santa Clarita Valley...it'll be a while before we give this one another shot.

This was my first time at Mamas and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is very clean with nice booths and plenty of tables. Waitress came over to get our drinks almost immediately. I went with the bacon & cheese ommie with Mamas hashbrowns ( must try ) and sourdough. Everything was great 👍🏻 waitress was super friendly and checked on us at least 4 times. Definitely will be going back.

Driving to LA and we wanted to eat here because we remember it being delicious when we visited pre-covid. Well now it is NOT! they used to have fresh homemade salsas and jams, not anymore. I ordered the eggs Benedict with hash browns, asked for my eggs over medium and this was the worst plate of slop Ive probably ever had. English muffin was soggy and soaked, ham barely had a sear to it, eggs were barely over easy. The entire meal being undercooked made it into a soggy mess that I could barely take 3 bites of. My Fiance ordered the corned beef hash with over medium eggs and same story, plate of undercooked slop, mushy barely cooked corned beef and underdone eggs. He also had the mamas style hashnrowns with the cheese and peppers on top, and even that was too greasy, dare I even say too much cheese. The only good thing was the mimosa was a fair price and tasty. I did let my server know that I didnt like the food and was unhappy with it when she offered if I wanted a to go box. No thank you. To bring my cold slop home? Youd think they would offer to take it off the bill clearly seeing it wasnt eaten but no. Definitely dont recommend getting those items. The portions are huge but who wants a plate of cold hollandaise on cold eggs and cold ham, soggy mush English muffin. Really bummed because this place was so good before.

Very Peaceful inside. I wish I was a senior citizen as their menu selection and prices are better. Expect at least $20 a plate (minimum) with tip and taxes. They had homemade breakfast salsa. Idk whats in it, but its good, and more flavorful than spicy. Very nice ppl working.

I love Mama s Table. Their food is so much better than the local chains. They make their own jams and salsa, and the quality is delicious. So far out of a handful of visits, we haven t had a disappointing meal.

Unfortunately, not a good experience. We out in our drink order rather quickly, but they never came by to take our food order. We left after half an hour of asking for someone to take our order. The 2 kids were hungry so we had to find another restaurant.

A substantial menu. We stop here for breakfast or early lunch, they get it right! Not everyone knows how to cook an egg, they do here! Not to mention the delicious hash browns, while my husband enjoys the grits! Also fond of their sandwiches, turkey, grilled ham and cheese & chicken. If you have not been here on Cinema Drive, you may want to check it out! I believe in recent weeks there has been an increase in pricing.

Its a nice place to visit, but I really wouldnt recommend. Service is great, nice, and friendly but theres no communication between the staff. We got asked if we were ready to order 3 different times within 2 minutes by 3 different people. Then comes the food... which really wasnt good. It just wasnt. I got a chicken fried steak, which had a thick layer of tough breading that oddly enough was also soggy, oily, and the steak oddly sweet. The gravy, bland and almost tasteless. Hash browns were way overdone, crispy in some places, tough and almost stale-like in others. Eggs were good tho, cant complain about those. Overall, it was a pretty unpleasant meal. My friend got Eggs Benedict Florentine, that was also really oily, soggy, with bland sauce. Overall, it was not a good experience, for the meal, and a large portion of the rest of the day.

This restaurant used to be good, but now has the worst service imaginable. They will forget your even there and then when they do finally show up take forever to bring your items. They dont bring your drinks till after the food comes and despite them saying theyll be right back when asking for something, it takes them forever to get back. Whatever you do dont sit outside in the back, because you will be forgotten about. Really have no interest in returning unless they fix this problem.

Visited today, 09-02-23, while our kitty was having tests done at The Cat Doctor & Friends around the corner. Homey, relaxed and busy atmosphere when we arrived at ~11:30. A middle aged gentleman seated us and got our drink order Our server Elizabeth was attentive and thorough. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito and Eggs Florentine with home fries. The burrito was huge and the Florentine was a nicely sized servings, of which I took some home! My hubby said the burrito was very tasty. My Eggs Florentine was excellent with not only the spinach, but large pieces of avocado, nice surprise! The home fries were great as well. Usually I put both salt & pepper on home fries, but these did not need ANY seasoning. We are not often in the area, however if we are around a mealtime....we will visit them again!

First time here. My wife brought me with our son for Fathers Day. Looked like a nice place and cozy vibes. Menu has a lot, and everything you want is obviously extra. Coffee was like brown water... no flavor, and lacked that cup of joe kick. Ordered a chicken sandwich and turned out to be like a chicken burger ... I mean, it was on sesame seed bun. And smothered in melted cheese. Lacked flavor, and I didnt even finish half of it. My wifes omlette was like a dry pancake egg mix topped with toppings. French fries were good but it was mostly like a text mix type of food....they had tapatio and cholula. Other than that, waiting to get the check took forever. Had to almost yell across the room. Might be my last time here, but I always try to give things a second chance.

I wasnt sure what to expect as this was my first visit. I wanted something different and was happy that I went. I ordered the spinach omelet and a pancake, and OMG! The pancake is large but delicious. Ihop was always my go-to for pancakes. Now, Mamas Table is the place to go. Also, the place is clean and the staff is so friendly, I highly recommend Mamas Table for some me time and families.

Theres something about a simple diner that just makes me happy. Mamas Table is no different. Simple atmosphere, but very friendly and attentive staff, and the food is very good. Large portion sizes and many options. My husband and I had breakfast, myself the Eggs Benedict Florentine and my husband the Meat Lovers Omelet. We both loved our meals and were very full by the end. Cant wait to come back!

This place is Sunday morning perfection! If youre looking for homemade salsa, homemade jelly, fabulous omelets or classic French toast, and dont wanna waste time with pomp or circumstance, this place is the vibe. 1st time here, ate everything above, enjoyed endless refills of fresh coffee and had the sweetest group of servers and busboys all helping each other out. Among everyone to stop by, I think the owner and his son even took care of us. No table service diner in history has ever felt so friendly or welcoming. Worth a 6th star

Ive eaten here twice. Both times were great! I ordered the breakfast burrito on each visit. So delicious! The housemade salsa is so good and flavourful! The owner had come over to our table to ask how things were....which is always nice. I asked him for more salsa (again so good), he said sure and went on to tell me how its made fresh every morning by roasting the tomatoes, peppers, and such for hours, and then blending other ingredients like garlic all together. Wow, I guess this is why it taste so amazing! He was so proud and I just love that. My overall experience was on point. The service was friendly and the food was great. They have fresh brewed iced tea, also a big plus. I will definitely be back.

Slightly above average diner food overall. Average food and atmosphere, great service, a little pricey but thats So Cal. Pro: Sat, ordered, food delivered quick, and coffee kept coming. Con: I would not get the chicken fried steak again, though. It was made with a burger patty, not a steak. Never seen it like that, and it was not an equivalent.

This place used to be amazing... over time, the food quality has gone down and you can tell theres little to no effort in putting food together. Our soup was never delivered w. our order and the turkey dish was drier than ever. Its not even served with stuffing anymore. No cranberries. The gravy was cheap and tasted like it came from a can. The amount that they gave us made it apparent that they seem to be cutting costs. We continued to give this place a chance over and over with hopes we would have a similar experience to the ones we had when we first started ordering from here. I think the chances have been worn out. Even the dessert looks like a dried up rotted tire on the side of the road. Never again. Im so disappointed.

Customer service was high beyond! We ordered Breakfast and had it delivered because We are quarantined with Covid on my BF s birthday. I ordered on Uber eats and there was not an option to order orange juice. Since we couldn t go out and needed the extra vitamin C I asked if orange juice could possibly be added and explained the situation. The food was delivered including the free orange juice and the servers there wrote cute messages on the cups for us!! It made our day because you don t find customer service like this!

Good food, came here on a Sunday and it was full. Dont expect to have your needs met quickly, you have to keep asking for coffee or napkins or any basic thing. Breakfast burrito was pretty good after adding the salsa. If youre looking for a place to sit down and eat breakfast this would meet your standards.

I have ordered from them frequently over the last two years and never have had a bad meal until today. I ordered the grilled pastrami sandwich and I couldn t even eat it it tasted so bad.

Very pleased with our order through Postmates. Everything was correct, delicious, and surprisingly still hot. The omelets had plenty of cheese cooked inside and on top. We will order again or return.

This is the best breakfast/lunch around by far. Delicious, quality food with affordable prices. Combined with an attentive staff in a peaceful setting with a nice view, this is our favorite spot. Do yourself a favor and try it. Your stomach will thank you.

While Ive been to places where I have waited a long time man... Being Mexican, going to this one in Valencia straight up made me upset and the experience was horrible. We arrived for two. My father and I. They were telling us they would seat us in a moment. 10 mins go by. Then 20. Then 30. Then 45. While we waited we watched as other people, white people were seated. I know they didnt have reservations because two parties of two asked how long we were waiting. And whatnot. We only got seated when a another couple couple asked the same thing. I was getting frazzled and they also had no reservations, and they told the server that we had been waiting and they let us go first. We get seated and they dont give us a menu and they said well be with you. Didnt apologize for having us wait so long but I dont hold it over the servers head. We wait more. Again. 10,20,30,4050 mins we waited. They finally came to give us our menu and ask if we want a drinks. Im disappointed and disrespected. I am to the point where I feel like crying and my best friend is white. Not to say its a race thing but I guess it was. Because while we waited we watched as people were served and we were ignored. I asked if my bestie who is blonde with blue eyes wanted to join us. She was at at the mall and she came. Oh the immediate service we got and I got up. They asked what was wrong... Almost in tears I said -Weve been waiting for over and 40 mins to be seated Where we could have gone elsewhere... But Im a patient person. Then watching as other people are served after coming after us... Being served and given their food and whatnot...only for my best friend to come and suddenly we get service? They apologized to us and tried to get us to get my best friend to stay as I said wed be leaving and she blew off on them too. I have not returned. I not am dating a white boyfriend and we stay clear of cheesecake factory. That was not okay. We ended up going to lazy dog. They were busy but we got seated in 5 mins, got taken care of and I stand by my statement. Im never returning.

This place was amazing. We stopped by last weekend and took my small family of four. The kids loved the Mickey Pancake and I enjoyed my French toast with hash browns. My husband ordered chicken fries steak and he hasnt stopped talking about it since we were there. Great service. Great food. Will be back soon!

We were coming home from Camping at Kern River, and decided to stop by to get breakfast and found this amazing Gem! I ordered the rebuen sandwich with fries. The server suggested this home made salsa. OMG I wanted to buy a jar of that ish!! Its was delicious. My Boyfriend had the French toast with eggs and bacon. Requested for honey to sweetened. The ice tea was also refreshing! Best part of this place is that they hasnt increased the prices unlike every other breakfast place that are taking advantage of the whole pandemic circumstance. Thank you for serving the people with generosity.

Love this hidden gem in the Santa Clarita area. They make their own jellys/marmalade. Great portions for a good price. Very home style American breakfasts. Highly recommend.

We were ready for some good breakfast after an early appointment in Santa Clarita when I found this hidden diner by pure luck when searching in Google maps for nearby restaurants, it is located inside a shopping plaza on a small busy street and not immediately visible to the eye, upon arrival we were greeted by 2 very friendly staff members, we asked to be seated outside and even though no one else was sitting outside, the server was happy to guide us to a table of our choosing. We ordered chicken fried steak and eggs, 1/2 biscuits and gravy with eggs and a sausage patty instead of bacon, a side order of a German sausage, tomato juice and orange juice. Great portions, fresh juices, the fried chicken cooked to perfection, not greasy and lots of flavor, the gravy and the German sausage were delicious, and as a bonus both their jellies and their salsa are freshly made in-house. Our server Young was friendly and attentive and made the whole experience much better, definitely will be going back next time were in the area.

Mamas table used to be a decent restaurant, I dont know if its under new ownership, but the manager sure isnt the same. My spouse placed an order true Uber eats, one of the menu items was a spinach and Swiss cheese omelette, the restaurant doesnt specify on the app whether you can choose real Swiss, or cheap imitation Swiss, they chose to make the omelette with the imitation Swiss. I called the restaurant and let them know that Im allergic to imitation Swiss cheese and the manager with his lack of proper use of the English language made it seem like Im the one whos at fault for not specifying I want genuine Swiss and wasnt willing to compromise on the order. Very poor customer service and rude staff. If I could give a zero? I would.

Excellent breakfast and the service was great. The eggs Benedict Florentine was good, although seconds away from curtaling. The English muffin was unlike any I have ever had before! It tasted homemade!The hash browns were cooked perfectly, crispy just how I like them.

Their food is really good. I got Cheese and Veggie omelet, Denver omelet and 2 pancakes. Pancakes were super soft and tasty. They have lot of takeout orders so they are very busy. I recommend!

Restaurant seemed very understaffed. Employees were having to do three or more tasks to keep up with the volume. Managers, please staff better and raise the pay! No fault on the employees whatsoever. Poor rating for poor staffing and poor management.

This is my new favorite. The staff during the week needs more training. The weekend staff (especially Darren) are attentive and provide excellent service. The food is top notch and it makes me happy. The clientele is diverse and the atmosphere is welcoming. Bring your family and enjoy a great breakfast or a nice steak for dinner!

It was the first time that I wanted to try the food at this restaurant and the waitress who served me took an hour to prepare two plates of food. When I asked for my food she told me to excuse her but that she had forgotten to place the order but If I wanted it, he would do it quickly and I felt that he said it mockingly, I was so angry that I preferred to leave because I also felt discriminated against because it is a restaurant where many Americans come, so I do not recommend bad service.

Waitress was super rude. I asked her what the bill was. Because I didnt have my glasses. And she wouldnt tell me. She just told me she was too busy. And the other waitress told the one waitress that I had complained about her one day. When I didnt. The owner is a nice guy.

Not sure how there are so many good reviews on here! Our server Darren was great however the rest of the staff was really rude, the restaurant was disorganized with the way it was being run. Our food took over an hour to get to us and when it finally did was inedible, we had to leave without eating and was offered no apologies by the manager or the owner who was there. Other patrons were complaining as well.

I went there for breakfast with my family and did not have a good experience. It took 15 minutes for the waiter to take our food order and another 25 minutes for the omelettes to arrive. We didnt see the waiter after that ( no coffee refills and I had to get up to ask for the bill). The restaurant was not full but there was only one waiter. This place is understaffed and the food was avarage.

Dave and Sue are great owners who love their customers. They have bent over backwards to accommodate people during these trying times. They have put their heart and soul in to their restaurant and it shows. You wont find any nicer or more caring people anywhere. They serve great food at a fair price. I went to eat at that restaurant because I love their food. We checked in got our table and waited. Another party of 3 came in sat down server come offer menu drinks and we are waiting. Thinking is going to be our turn next. When the server checked on the parties outside I got her attention and said we need menus please she said let me grab your server by now is already 20 to 25 minutes. Waited a little bit longer got up and left. A server comes out of the restaurant and just said oh, you are leaving. Come on! It s not like they were super busy but now I know why they are loosing customers. Lack of good servers.

First time coming in. We ordered the Benedict Florentine, the Smoked salmon Benedict and 1/2 biscuits and gravy. The food was great! Biscuits were nice and crispy on the outside even with the gravy. Food takes a little while but it is well worth it.

Sat right away, took my order after about 5 minutes, currently still waiting for food, about 45 minutes. They seem to be more worried about to go orders than existing tables. Owner didnt acknowledge my frustration when I addressed it. Will never go back.
