Absolutely loved my experience at Brick and Flour! I always come here with my mom. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a nice breakfast or lunch. The menu had a great variety, but my favorite is definitely the house special burrito. The staff is also always very nice and inviting. Overall great service and food in all!

Believe me, I love this place. I tell my friends about this place. I love the tacos here but this burrito was just not there. It was missing the flavor. I ask if they have the chipotle sauce maybe it would help taste but they don't. This burrito went downhill today. Anyway, it would be so great if u can clean your table or change the table. For the longest time I have been coming here. It's always like this. Dirty, hardened food stuck between the table design and looks 🤢🤮. Just see the photos and tell me if it's appetizing to look at.

Definitely serves a wide variety menu. I have yet to try something that isn’t just 🔥🔥 so good. Artesian Mexican at its best seriously.

Not horrible but was mostly just rice. The beans are tasty as is the little meat that’s in the burrito but definitely not worth the price for what you get. I’d say a little better flavor than chipotle but much more rice

So I pulled into the gas station and If you’ve read my other reviews you know if I see a place I’ve never seen I have to try it.

Keep in mind it’s 11pm and I’m fresh out the gym so my hunger level was at 1000

Walk in the place looks like the coolest taco spot I’ve ever been in.

Place is packed with college kids! That’s usually a good sign.

I order the crispy chicken burrito & Crispy Chicken Taco.

I devoured both in less than 5min. The burritos here are not like traditional burrito spots. But man they taste amazing and will fill you up.

My only complaint is the spicy sauce wasn’t spicy enough for me! 😂😂😂

I wanted to try the churro bites but you know I gotta watch my weight! 😂😂

So, after wanting to try Brick and Flour for quite some time, today ended up being the day! I've been home in bed sick for a little over a week now and I was looking forward to treating myself to a nice comforting breakfast burrito filled with eggs and potatoes! However, what I received was, what I can only liken to, a soup burrito.
Don't get me wrong, the flavors were great, but I could not find, nor taste, eggs or potatoes! And after imagining just how good this was going to be it ended up being a huge disappointing let down. There was so much sour cream, salsa and guacamole that the burrito it was just a cold, soupy, albeit tasty, concoction of various condiments. Definitely not worth the $20 I paid for a "burrito" and a watered down, tasteless horchata.

Customer service was great But the veggie burrito I purchased was not The rice tasted like el pollo loco rice. There was Too much rice in my burrito. The rice was hard & didn t taste good. I couldn t even finish my burrito because it didn t taste that great :( And I wasn t the only one, My partner couldn t finish his burrito either. And I was pretty upset I spent my precious hard earned money on these burritos. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the chips and salsa. I truly didn t taste authentic Mexican food at all.

A very walkable distance from COC, a great option if you are looking for Mexican food to eat. Student discount for COC and West Ranch students as well. Fries are great, burritos are great, and the tacos are good too. Great flavors and food options too. However, I did find hair in my fries once.

Came here for the first time last night around 11pm. Its hard to find a decent spot late at night, especially in Valencia unless youre going to do fast food. Its nice to find a spot to sit and that serves good food. I got a burrito and added cheese to it. Flavor was on point, ingredient ratio was great and it was filling. They served a Salse Verde that was good but the other pinkish spicy sauce they serve that is very liquidy was the G.O.A.T I proceeded to drink that bad boy like it was water to wash that burrito down and it actually had a good heat unlike many sauces that claim spice only to leave you seeking out the tingle. I will be back soon and I recommend this spot. I dont think youll be disappointed.

The most underrated fast casual fresh mex style restaurant. Everything is made to order, with quality and fresh ingredients, and most importantly tastes declicious! Highly recommend this place for quick lunch or dinner or on the go. Has a young crowd running the kitchen with great energy and customer service. A staple in valencia! I highly recommend the carne asada bowl

Stopped here at the gas station next door on a road trip and decided to drop in to eat because it was convienant. I was shocked to have some of the best tacos of my life. Everything was soooooo good. Great spice great flavors lots of different options. Must go!

Road trip - we stopped here for gas and saw this place for a quick bite. Absolutely delicious ! 2 omnivores and 2 vegans. We ordered the al pastor burrito and House Special Burrito - very flavorful! All portions were enough inside and nice salsa kick. We ordered 4 veggie tacos and added shredded cabbage. The menu was promising. We ordered a carnitas bowl, a California burrito, and carne asada fries. The fries were the best dish. The asada and carnitas had good flavor. The rice and beans were a disappointment. They weren t cooked all the way through, crunchy if you must say. Over all, we were not impressed.

Went with my boyfriend kinda late last night, my boyfriend has a shellfish allergy. He ordered a chicken burrito and we get a bowl of the corn to share, food was good and we left happy. Until we get home and my boyfriend complains of a tight throat and starts throwing up. Nothing he had contained shellfish, so for him to have a reaction as if he ate shellfish means there is definitely some cross contamination going on. We went later in the evening so I don t know if they just don t take care to not cross contaminate later in the day, but it was disappointing. I really wanted to like this place

The location is terrible but the service is excellent and the food is very good. Its not the best Mexican food Ive had but it is very good and everything was fresh and flavorful. It was our first visit so I need to go a few more times and try other things. We had the asada and shrimp burrito and the special shrimp quesadilla, both were very good.

First off the restaurant smells slightly like sewage, maybe because we sat near the restroom but the restrooms are right in the middle of the restaurant. The food was cold, both our bowl and burrito. When I asked the server if it was supposed to be cold he answered no, gave me a strange look and walked off. The waste of plastic is unbelievable. Everything is out of plastic and they dont even have single silverware so everyone throws out the other piece. I was extremely disappointed.

Located near a fast station, this place was surprisingly delicious. Their carne asada egg fries were ok but the true gem of the place was their horchata. Many restaurants and fast food places tend to water down their horchata in either flavor or creaminess. But this place makes no compromises, creamy and flavorful and free refills!

We ordered the catering package for our sons 1st birthday, and couldnt have experienced better service and food! We had about 19 people and it was more than enough food, not to mention all the sides it came with. We had some questions, and spoke with Artur. He was beyond helpful. Everything turned out perfect, and it was so nice to have peace of mind knowing the food was taken care of. Well definitely be ordering from them again for our parties! Thank you!!

Unexpectedly amazing! We pulled in for gas and a bathroom break, saw the sign and decided to just check it out. We each ordered one taco but went back for more! Facility is clean, staff is friendly/ easy going. Prices were good! Highly suggest the fresh chips with guacamole. We got two carne asada tacos, one with a corn tortilla and one with a flour tortilla, and one house special. Horchata was good too, not too sweet! Definitely making this our stop when passing through! Kid-friendliness: Good size tacos for kids 4+ They had a little bowl of candy out for kids to take one!

Brick and Flour is great. Its a smaller chain that I hadnt heard of before, but after trying im hooked. The asada is especially good, and i will definitely be trying the shrimp next time. The staff here are friendly and talkative, and they love to help accommodate for picky eaters (kids). Would absolutely recommend!

I was driving by the gas station when I saw they opened this place. I decided to try it and I m very happy I did. The food was fabulous and the workers were super nice! I really like their carne asada burrito and carne asada beer battered fries. The place has indoor and outdoor seating and pretty cool art on the walls. On the counter they had posted a secret menu that s not on their website which I would love to try something from next time! Overall great experience!

Im am very happy with the quality of food and service I got at my stop at Brick and Flour today! I ordered a couple fish tacos and a carne asada fries and me and my girl were very pleased. The fries looked like they had 3 sauces on them which added so many different flavors all packed Into One bite. If you choose to stop by I would definitely recommend the chipotle aioli that was my favorite. The pickled cabbage and pico de gayo that came on my fish tacos tasted so fresh and added so much more to the flavor profile of the tacos. I would definitely recommend stopping by if your in the Valencia area and craving some tasty good quality Mexican food.

Went to pick up my food that I ordered over the phone, the team locked the doors right as I walked up @11:45pm (sign says youre open until 12am) & one just stared at me through the door then walked to the back. I could see my food on the counter but couldnt get it because the entire store team refused to open their doors or answer the phone. Terrible service.

This is pretty average Mexican food. Not a bad place if you re on the way to something. Note that everything is spicy - I think that even the chips have something on them. However, I have almost no spicy tolerance, so take that with a huge grain of salt. I got the carne asada chips. Way too much moisture in it - just juice in the bottom. But the steak was good.

Food is fine. Got a carnitas torta and the meat portion was a little small imo, and the bread was a little stale. Meat tasted pretty good though. My boyfriend got a chicken burrito and had no complaints. The real issue is the sidewinder carne asada fries . Straight up queso guac and potato SOUP. I was not hype to see how much they smothered these poor potato wedges, and they were as soggy as you d imagine. The girl at the time seemed nice but I don t think she was trained very thoroughly. Also the music they were playing is so wack, they painted a mural that said something like woo awesometown with a rollercoaster on the wall and the people riding had tacos. Milennials rejoice

While food is the most important aspect of a restaurant (Brick and Flour had good food), service at restaurants is a VERY close second. We were not met with a smile, a thank you....or even when food was dropped off at our table and we said thank you, with a youre welcome. Also, the choice of music with lots of profanity was not appreciated. If this restaurant is going to stay in business, the ownership ought to use a secret shopper and also spend time LOTS of time at the restaurant to be sure the work ethic is what you expect it should be.

Tastes pretty good but it took ~50 minutes to get our food. Restored one star because they were nice enough about it and refunded us for taking so long but there was no urgency to get the food to us even 30 mins in when we asked and it turned out they hadnt even started our order due to a mixup. Would not recommend if you are mortal and you value your minutes on this Earth.

I jokingly tell my wife that if Tacobell and Chipotle had a love child, that would be this joint. Jokes aside, its carbs and proteins in various vessel choices. The price point is pretty fair given the portions. Meats are pretty flavorful, not overcooked, and dry. Parking can be an issue since its in a small lot of a gas station. Staff have all been very nice and friendly. Just mind the fact that it can be pretty heavy depending on what you choose. We enjoyed the location in Glendale and glad they decided to become an addition here.

Its sad because I really like the food. Waiting for over 20 min with no one in the restaurant. Saw an order come out so we thought finally we can eat, the guy behind the counter looked at us and laughed in our faces and said this isnt your order.

I have to start off by mentioning that their horchata is the best I have ever had, its absolutely delicious. Next is the House Special which I had as a burrito. The choices are arranged by fillings and then the format (taco, burrito, etc.). I ended with the churro donut, which isnt really a donut, but is very good. I was very impressed with how crunchy it was without being overcooked. I was initially put off by it being attached to a gas station, but am very happy that I ignored that. This is a very successful attempt at elevated mexican fast food.

Ordered online for takeout. Email said 15 minutes but it took over 30mins. It would have been ok if email gave accurate time. Crispy chicken burrito had chicken in first 1/4 and then just mainly rice in rest. Tacos were fine

We re looking for somewhere new to try for dinner. I recommended this place to my wife . needless to say, I was very surprised about the quality of the food . The price you pay you get a huge amount of food. french fries are highly recommend. If you order the nachos for yourself order this morning, if your order from oldest to people who are the larger size. I highly recommend this place good atmosphere .

Ordered the crispy chicken burrito from the cashier s recommendation and it was really good! Though I do wish there was more variety with the salsa. It s either mild tomatillo or burning habanero.

Read the reviews and expected the food to be decent... I got the carne asada fries and the al pastor tacos. I paid like $15 dollars for it which is fair I think. The cheese on the fries had this weird chemical aftertaste. The tacos were so dry and bland. I am disappointed I didnt like this place because it did look really good on the website and in person. Sorry! I really did try :(

I absolutely love this place. Been coming to this location since they opened and I continue to come back almost every single day. The staff is awesome and food is AMAZING! You might want to order ahead, specially during lunch hours but you will not regret anything on their menu.

Food tasted fine but I ended up getting sever anxiety. My wife also felt terrible and we had to get a bunch of desert and only felt better after walking off the meal a couple hours later. I dont know what happened but it was not an enjoyable experience. there wasnt anywhere to eat and we ended up having to sit next to the door where I got blasted by their air curtain. It was either that or sitting next to the bathroom which my wife said she smelled the entire time we ate. Also it took almost half an hour to get our food.

MANNNNNN food cooked to perfection compliments to the chef. Great menu, great food , great drinks and great service. 10/10 recommend for anybody lookin for a great meal and time out.

This is a small shop, really nice atmosphere. The food was excellent, prepared in a timely manner. The service was fantastic. Best of all the sauce was spicy and extremely flavorful. I would highly recommend trying them if the chance presents itself. Kudos for a simple approach done exceedingly well!!

The carne asada fries are fire, the staff is so nice too. Hands down one of my favorite go to spots so glad they got one in Valencia when i m visiting my homies from out of town. OH and the tacos are solid aswell go with the house special one

Absolutely unacceptable to place an order ahead of time, wait 25 minutes IN STORE for it, after giving the allotted 10-15 minutes. Watching the staff text and not check up on the food was wonderful as well. You ll be treated like family was an UNTRUE review, if you read that one, unless they re describing a dysfunctional family. The price point and wait time alone will keep me from the establishment. If you care about time management, and his review is for you. Can t believe I made a Karen style review, but honestly? Don t tell me it s going to be ready in 15 minutes if its going to be 45

I used to live in the valley and would always order from their North Hollywood location I was super bummed moving to Santa Clarita and not having access to B&F. I ve tried all the other Mexican spots here and nothing came close to B&F. Until now! I am so happy they opened one here. Their Carne Asada Fries are the best in the game! I ve tried almost every other spot in Santa Clarita and I think B&F has the best Mexican food. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients cuz it tastes very good, highly highly recommend it!

First time coming here. I got a couple of tacos one was the carne asada taco and the other was a carnitas taco. The carne asada meat was really good. The pork one too but the pork meat was a little too soft for me. It didnt taste quite like a carnitas taco. But either way overall the food was really good. Friendly staff. I would definitely come back to this place.

The food was so fresh and good quality plus very affordable. The owner Arthur came out and thanked me for coming in. We will definitely make this a family and friends favorite. Kid-friendliness: Arthur was friendly to my young nephews.

I ordered the carne asada nachos, quesadilla and churros. Nachos and quesadilla had good portions and very filling. Food was delicious. Nachos were a little salty though. My favorite was the churros. Wish it came with more!

What an awesome new spot in Valencia. Went on the first day it opened and the food was amazing! Had the house special torta and couple tacos. Everything had so much flavor, the meat and bread were fresh. Loved it. Must try!! Will definitely be back.

The is quite possibly some the best food across the board that you can get in Valencia. Fresh flavors at great prices. So excited to have this place in this town! The Glendale and Pasadena locations are awesome too!

OMG, finally. Ive been waiting for this to open for a while now and its finally open. This is by far, hands down my favorite location of Brick & Flour. The food is immaculate and fresh. The staff are really nice, the place is clean. It has a patio outside. The biggest plus is that its now open and I dont have to drive all the way to North Hollywood. Parking: lots of parking in the front, the rear and the side. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entry so no need for ramps, easily accessible

Amazing food and staff. I went there yesterday after work and ordered a house special torta. The food tastes amazing, the meat quality is unmatched. The pricing is good too for the amount of food I got. I already told my friends and we will be going this weekend again. Good to see a new restaurant in the neighborhood. I encourage everyone to try it!

This place has just opened a couple of days ago and it became my favorite! The food is made from scratch and it tastes like your grandma s cooking. So delicious! Very friendly staff, clean and amazing all around! I highly recommend Brick and Flour to anyone who is on the go or just looking to have a great meal.
