Amazing food and workers. The portions are somewhat big but tastes really good. The workers know how to work fast and keep in check with everything. The prices aren’t the best but they are big portions of food and worth the price for sure. Very inclusive and understanding!

Let's talk about the food first. It's a substantial breakfast/lunch menu providing lots of choices for you and/or your group. I was quite pleased with my chicken enchiladas poblanas and my husband enjoyed the corned beef hash, potatoes and eggs. Not to mention. a great cup of cinnamon coffee complimented breakfast. Now, let's address the atmosphere during a Sunday brunch. First off, the tables are really close together, (we happened to be wedged between two tables of ten and a trio of linebackers) in the middle of the restaurant. It's loud, and it's over the top. Did I mention there were birthday celebrations too? So, expect this high excitement level on Sunday. As for service, I really didn't know if our waiter could even find us in this crowd, but somehow this staff seemed to take it in stride even with a packed restaurant. If you'd rather avoid the busy Sunday crowd, a weekday visit may suit you better. I would return whenever, because I think the food warrants it.

We had to wait about 20 minutes but giving the fact that it was a Sunday and around brunch time it is understandable. We got Egg Benedict & Breakfast burrito. I would give 11 out of 10 to Egg Benedict! It was so good that I was about to lick the plate afterwards but there were too many people in the restaurant! Definitely get the fresh squeezed orange! It was a perfect match! The breakfast burrito was good but not as good! In my opinion there was too many potatoes in it and not enough sauce. I added catchup, hot sauce and even some of the leftover sauce from EGG BENEDICT and still was too dry to swallow. If by now you are not convinced to get the egg Benedict then I have nothing more to say but remember this when you order something else, “I told you so“ lol

The food was good. We ordered a Margarita flight with Chilaquiles and a breakfast burrito.
The wait time to be seated was long, which means they are popular. Service was fast, and the food was pretty tasty. I would pass on the flight. It was a little generic tasting and over sweet rather than a Margarita. Overall, the experience was good enough to go back and try other dishes.

My wife brought me to Casa Canela for my birthday, and it was well worth it! The breakfast was well cooked and all of the ingredients used in the food were fresh and tasty. I had the French toast and my wife had the huevos divorciados, both plates were packed with delicious Mexican flavor. I also had their fresh squeezed juice, the carrot, orange and celery juice was so good, I recommend it. It was my birthday that day, they brought me a waffle cake and sang a nice song, I loved it!! The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and decor. They also have a very nice outside patio. Our server Marcela was very nice and attentive. We came from lancaster and would definitely cone back. I was there last Sunday, waited almost 15 minutes for someone to ask what drinks? Or anything!! When the guy asked what we wanted, I told him we re not white people that s why we been here for so long also their menu seems like it changed, their fries are not the same .. Bad customer service!!!

I when here with hight expectations. The service was great, but the food I feel is over price, and is more the hipe this place gets from reviews, food is very simple for the price they charge. I had couple of thinks they offer from the limited menu I had a side of fruit which it had couple of pieces of spoiled fruit , overall I think there quality food needs improvement.

This place is wonderful to hamflg out and have drinks. Its open late and the music is always going. I go for the atmosphere. The food is alright. Not the best. Its a hit or miss sometimes on the ceviche and if you forget to say no cheese... youll get a handful of yellow cheese on all parts of the food. The salsa is mild..

The foodnstyle is comfort American/Mexican food. The breakfast menu has many classic dishes like French toast, crepe, huevos con chorizo,etc. I order the same thing every time I go so I cannot speak much on the other dishes. I order soup. They have two kinds Albondigas amd tlapeño (chicken soup). It is soothing and brings comfort to me. I ask for green salsa on the side, lemon and well cooked tortillas. I highly recommend this place because the service is amazing, the atmosphere is homey and the staff is very kind, helpful and attentive. Mt one note is, if you are looking for authentic Mexican food .. this is not it.

The waitress pocketed an extra 10 from us because she added a 1 in front of the 0 on the tipping area of the receipt. Please keep in mind that we put 0 on the receipt because we handed her a $10 bill, so we had already tipped her. We will be contacting our banks to have this resolved.

What a bad service. We are leaving breakfast, and what bad attention from the waitress, very annoying from the first moment she greeted us, and the dish of eggs rancheros was very spicy. We asked her if she could change it, she said no, she cant change it because it was the sauce, not the eggs. But it is obvious that I did have to change it, it was the entire dish because they put the sauce on everything, even on the beans, we asked another person who could not change them and in the same way it was very heavy, not at all friendly, and I asked him when he arrived that they will sing to my friend for her birthday and they didnt want to do it either. What a bad service, before I came often and I highly recommended it but I will also put it on my networks because I no longer recommend it. We dont come because they give away the food, we are paying for a service and for them to treat you badly, they dont deserve to be recommended and for me to return again

I ordered the cheese enchiladas with green sauce. I love me some good enchiladas and was looking forward to getting these. My first bite, the sauce was really good BUT my cheese was not melted. No one wants cold cheese in their enchiladas. Waiter never refilled our drinks. Took over 30 minutes just to take our order.

They add gratuity for parties of 5 when only 4 people ate. The kids menu says juice included and yet they don t tell you which juice is not. Mind you the kids meal is $7.99 and damn orange juice cost $7.00. It s a scam there as they don t tell you anything and just drop off the check. Go there if you like surprises.

Their gas tasted weird - also we made reservations for a baby shower, paid a deposit, sent out invites and the so called manager called Friday (two weeks) before event and miraculously someone else booked the patio (she had no one on the books when we retained the room) and cancelled us via text!!!!! Ive been a number of times now and was never dissapointed. Personally this is one of the best if not the best breakfast place in SCV, hands down. Food is always good (and with large portions- the skillets alone is enough for 2), service is great, and the atmosphere is cozy. Theres an outdoor patio if you wanna enjoy the weather too. Plenty of space for larger parties as well. Dont think twice, just go! Parking: Could be a bit hard to find parking on busier days like the weekend as it does share a parking lot with a supermarket and other businesses

I was so disappointed in my trip here. To start off first, when we got sat we asked for two waters. Only one water came out and the cup had LIPSTICK stains on the rim. More than one stain. We were shocked and called the server over immediately and she apologized and took the cup back. We ended up asking for plastic silverware and cups because we did not trust eating with their utensils. Fast forward to our meal coming out and the photo I added is how our veggie omelet came out completely saturated in whatever the liquid was. This is how we were served. The fruit was almost translucent which means it has gone bad. We sent that back as well. The only thing that came out appropriately was the pancakes that we just both ended up eating together. My order was apple waffles which the menu stated is warm apples on top of 2 waffles. Mine was 2 waffles covered in cold apples and sugar and caramel. I am so disappointed as we ve been here over 5 times. I won t be visiting for a while after todays visit. I hope this review will help the staff and cooks going forward. The manager did speak to us and comped us for the meal, he seemed as if he genuinely cared about what happened and apologized along with the great server we had!

Worst customer service, waitress kept telling me I know after I would say something and then they didn t bring out our entire meal. Tried charging us for said meal and then proceeded to screw up the receipt. To top it off the make you tip. It s forcefully added into the bill. Whether they provided a good service or not, they sure get a great tip. F them. They also erased my message on instagram and blocked me cause they re afraid of the truth. Maybe get better staff and the restaurant wouldn t be so bad.

I was in the Santa Clarita area and was looking for a good place to have breakfast, I came here because the dishes looked delicious and varied, including crepes, ommeletes and chilaquiles. Im a fan of chilaquiles so I decided to come try them. The prices are acceptable and the service is good and fast. I came on a Sunday and there were a lot of people waiting but they gave me a table earlier than I thought. The pot coffee is good but the chilaquiles were very salty, I dont know if it was the meat or the sauce, but it was too much salt, I was waiting for the girl who served me to ask me if everything was okay, so I could tell her that they were very salty but She was very busy and in the end she only arrived with the receipt. Maybe other dishes are better and maybe only on this occasion they went too far with the salt, but in reality for chilaquiles, regardless of how salty it is, I dont recommend it. I will come another day to try the crepes or the omelets, thats just why I give them 3 stars, maybe the next time I come Ill update my review. But very good service and facilities too.

To all my Santa Clarita peeps whatever you do dont go to Casa Canela in Saugus for food. Seriously go somewhere else. After being seated and ordering food it took 55 minutes to get my food. I mean it was a spinach omelet. 55 min for an omelet do I need to repeat. To top it all off it was 31.00 for a omelet. So sad they used to be good. I dont care if the food is good or not this place just sucks in all other categories.

The first time I went here the food was great and I wanted to go back. But following this I had gone 2 times and both times we had waited an hour. 1st time waited an hour before they took our order. And the 2nd we waited more than an hour for our food before we decided to leave. I understand it can get busy but people that arrived after us with the same size group were served first. Really wish to go back but I m very disappointed.

I tried this restaurant 3 times and every time got served cold food ! Tried omelet, burrito and chillaquiles all served cold ! As if the kitchen does not possess a heat lamp. Still can t forget the taste of cold over easy eggs. Plus side is a clean place, nice patio and friendly staff. Not going back

Been there now two times and attempted a third try on Fathers Day for breakfast, but wait was over an hour. This is obviously only my personal opinion. Nobodys food especially, breakfast is that good to sit and wait outside for over an hour. Now if they had like a cart girl like they do on the golf courses to buy drinks,I may of opted to stick out the wait. Anyways, food is great,service is great and both the margarita trio or the mimosa trio are also great.

First time experience was amazing! The environment was inviting and the hosts were super friendly. I highly recommend the Chilaquiles.. savory to the last bite! Home Potatoes are to die for..Casa Canela will be your home away from home..

If you could give zero stars then I would. Waited 15 mins for our party to be completed. They wont even out you on the list and make you wait additional time to be on the list. Went to add ourselves and was added at the end of the list. Waited a total of an hour because of these rules. The rules or guidelines are not posted anywhere and the customer service is horrible.

Amazing breakfasts! We came to celebrate a family member birthday and I m quit surprised of how taste the food is. Portions are great! I m always on it for a big place of food and this place did their part on that. Definitely coming back again!

This place has exceptional food and choices and their service is above and beyond. They also offer 5% off your check if paying cash, which is great. The crepes are delicious, and they have the best coffee

Nice warm inviting atmosphere! Staff and crew genuinely care! Great prices, good food! Not too busy when I went, but by the time I left, there was a que! Asked for a fresh orange juice for my son! Guess I forgot to say small!

My wife and I came here for breakfast and it was awesome! The food was perfect! They have their own way on making things and it comes out awesome! Customer service is great!!
