I ordered the salmon plate with baby spinach and mixed vegetables. Everything was fantastic. The salmon was perfectly cooked, the veggies were crisp, and it all went down nicely with a delicious glass of green juice.

Place with a wide variety of salads and mediterranean dishes. The quantity of food per plate was good and the relation quality-cost very nice.
The staff was okay, they were quick. The only improvement could be the place itself, it was a bit dirty and basic.
It's located just next to one of the main streets of Santa Monica, so the location is perfect if you are around the area. One of the few healthy food places you can find.

The customer service by the lady was amazing! She was so kind!!! They brought out food in 4 minutes like how?! I got my Nonnas Pasta and it was so good! My mom got tuna with mashed potatoes and salad. My brother and my dad got the Mediterranean steak salad and they both loved it. We all got breads with it which was wonderful! The bread was kind of cold but good! There was a booth chair in the corner kinda that was ripped. Overall 5 stars!

Ordered a steak plate, it was delivered without the steak! Called in and received no help / no refund. Was told I could speak to the manager after they finished a couple of interviews. But that doesn t solve the problem of what I m going to do for lunch.

A fabulous discovery after 10 days of American food! Simple and tasty dishes even for children. (Mashed potatoes, pasta and fruit) Well done, excellent idea and good presentation of the dishes. Definitely coming back!!

I love this restaurant and this location in particular! It has been a while and I know some other locations feel a bit more sterile, but the staff here are so friendly and my favorite dish, the steak salad is always awesome! Our cashier today, Hidemi, was SO great! He answered all my companions questions! He even brought her a small sample of the farro salad that she loved but wouldnt have selected. The busser, Christian, was so helpful w my extra requests etc. Whoever the manager is at this location knows how to keep their clients happy! Thanks!!! Parking: We got metered street parking as we arrived about 3:20.

Location, atmosphere and service is fine. Food is meh. It tries- and the menu looks great, but this is our second time at Tender Greens and probably the last since the food is somehow lacking in flavor- there are better tasting options available. I had the harvest salad and found all of 2 blackberries, but plenty of chicken fat and CHICKEN SKIN on the salad; the dressing had no flavor/acid so it was pretty meh. The toasted bread with the salad would be nice, if it were warm & still toasty, rather than cold & soggy. Similar to an experience with a different menu item and different location two years ago. My dining partners were equally unimpressed- food was fine, but lacking something.

Tender Greens is usually solid but I guess it depends on which location you go to. I got major attitude from some entitled mustached millennial guy behind the counter (I think his name was Christian). All I did was ask if the to go bag behind the counter was mine. It was a fair question. Three groups of people that ordered after my family had already received their orders. I wasn t rude or accusatory. I asked a simple question. The dude got all aggro and barked back Go sit down and wait. I politely explained that I wasn t dining in and was just checking on the to go bag was mine since other orders had gone out. He barked again it doesn t matter when you ordered. Just wait. A while later he brought the bag out. I said thank you because that s the polite thing you do. Once again with no attitude. But just to prove his a-holeness he said It was only 15 minutes and turned his back and walked away. No you re welcome or anything close to politeness. Luckily there are other TG locations because we won t be going back to this one. That dude seemed like the kind of guy who would spit in your food.

It was the very 1st time coming to this restaurant and it was by chance and I am so so glad we walked in to try it!! The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about my dietary needs! On Thursday, May 30, came in for lunch with my wife. Ordered the food and went to check on where is the food after 30 minutes. I love coming to this location. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. I visit often and Chris and Hidemi are the best! They always make sure my orders are correct and if I ask about something on the menu, they give me suggestions on what I should try. They work hard. Theyre the main reason I keep coming back! Just awful. The food was clearly not fresh. For example, the steak, which should have been served freshly fried, was cold and looked like it had been grilled a few hours ago at best. Disgusting and overly salted soup. The only pleasant impression was the girl who took the order and set the table. Maria was very friendly and helped in every way she could. But the restaurant sucks. I regret that I came there.

I do enjoy the different dishes. They serve here. Sometimes the meat is a little undercooked though, but the staff is very overwhelmed with everything else. There s a great choice of things, but it s slightly overpriced for what you get. I do enjoy the salmon there but you have to be careful if it s not fresh you might get sick.

This was overall a very great restaurant. They had delicious food, and food for everyone, even my picky daughter. The salads were fresh and the meat was warm. They also had some foods we hadn t tried before, such as a type of lentil with pesto. They had some very delicious hummus and pesto. The croutons were a bit chewy, but they were otherwise very well seasoned. They also had vegan options. The service was quick and efficient. The waiters weren t overly welcoming, but they weren t rude. It took in between five and ten minutes to get our food, but the place wasn t busy. Overall, it felt very safe versus a fast food restaurant. While there were a few dents, it was relatively clean. There were a few rips in the cushions and a dent or two on the floor, but it didn t affect us in any way. As far as I could see, it was clean.

I love this location of Tender Greens! Very helpful and welcoming staff. I love that they have a very nice wide variety of dishes! I am vegetarian, but the smell of their steak on the grill does make me second think my veg life! I looove their Tomato Mozzarella sandwich, their pesto sauce is soo addictive. Drinks are always pleasant, my favorite is asking their staff to mix the green juice and pomegranate agua fresca Decor could definitely use some revamping, regardless would still recommend this location overall! Very healthy and affordable!

I was doing some shopping and decided to stop by the Restaurant to see my old coworkers and try something new items off of the menu. When I approached the register the Cashier Rihanna was taking orders I asked her kindly I would prefer someone else to take my order so you don t have to worry . I waited to talked to a couple old coworkers while in the process of waiting Rihanna unprofessionally went up to each employee and whispered something about me being in the restaurant which i didn t even knew she owned the restaurant to be honest to be questioning my presence. Bella finally was fully clocked in and was able to take my order. Rihanna was behind Bella when I asked Rihanna, moving forward keep my name out of your mouth . Rihanna denied all accusations because she was guilty. We started to go back and forth which was truly unprofessional for her as an employee. I asked her to let s go outside and handled this multiple times to respect the business. I told her she had to go first. She eventually proceeded to go and when we got to the front of the Pilates places Wes the manger told us not to do this because he can get in trouble. Out of respect for I turned around walked back in the restaurant grabbed my items and left I apologized to all the coworkers and customers which some of the customers told me it wasn t my fault because everyone seen the who situation. As a customer I feel the regional Manger needs to be changed or have a big sit down because Sharleen constantly allows unprofessional behavior in her restaurant. Sharleen is not a great candidate for a regional manager she promotes people off friendships or relationships and emotion. When you re asked to be valued you re not really valued or stuff is not done properly. Rihanna has made up countless lies about me and defamed my name. I had to come out of character today and for the customers who know me knows that Tiffany is a sweetheart, helpful, kind to others and intelligent. I was truly discussed with my experience today.

My friend Kiley is very tender. Like a tender green if you will. He has such a soft and tender way about himself. He loves to eat tender greens, because he himself is very tender and soft. Tender greens is my go to tender food restaurant. Especially when Kiely is working there. Kiely is a such a soft tender baby boy. Next time you visit say hello to Kiely and he may even give you a secret tender high five out back. Meow meow.

As a vegetarian, I was so excited to try the blue zone bowl with roasted maitaike mushroom. The mushrooms were so salty, they were inedible. Its clear the kitchen staff arent tasting what theyre putting out. I did really love the lentils, I would eat those again. Vegetarian options: Lentils are amazing. Maitaike mushrooms are inedible. Roasted cauliflower is good fresh, not as good when ordered to go.

This Tender Greens is by far the worst location yet. I ve been such a fan since moving to LA and have pretty much tried the chicken Katsu at each location. At every location, aside from this one, the Katsu chicken was crispy, hot, and just overall great. At this location, my $16 (before tip) chicken was cold and soggy. The veggies were soggy as well when they usually are not at other locations. Even the rice was cold, so I m wondering if I got someone s leftovers or something? I m just confused. Regarding the actual restaurant, the place was full of smoke to the point of where you walked in all you smelled and saw was kitchen smoke. The AC was not on so it was ridiculously warm in there as well. I wouldn t have wanted to sit inside anyways since the tables were all topped with crumbs. Like literally none were clean. Same deal with tables outside. There was no greeting from employee at the cashier either, so all in all it was just a bad experience from every aspect. I am hoping more is done from owners end to match the quality of the other locations in LA and hire better staff, since I think that s what it all comes down to.

We ordered Tender Greens for an in office luncheon today for 20-25 people. I placed the order online and followed up with the manager, Raul. Raul was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and professional. Everyone was very pleased with the lunch and complimented the selections. We also had a last minute request for additional sandwiches and Raul personally delivered the additional sandwiches. We shared a Mediterranean steak salad (medium rare) and it was quite tasty. We might have liked it a bit more rare, so we will ask for that next time. The dressing was light and delicious and the steak was well cooked. We also had mint lemonade that was good too.

The food here is great and the atmosphere is nice. I usually order take out though and several times they ve forgotten parts of the order. Most recently, my chicken curry bowl came as plain rice with half a piece of bok choy. I ve called twice to complain when it s happened and they ve been very apologetic and offered me a refund but it doesn t go through. They need more consistency and better follow through on making up for their mistakes.

Beautiful place with a nice outdoor area. Food did not take long to arrive at all and the prices were reasonable. The staff was super friendly and nice. Honestly, the staff alone would make me go back to support the business. However, that does not take away from the delicious food!!! If you get the mashed potatoes, you have to get the gravy!!!!!

We love this place. Its our go to lunch spot when we need something delicious and quick. They have a large menu and specials which satisfies my cravings. My daughter loves their grilled cheese. I love the penang chicken its spicy and delicious makes you melt in your chair. We try different things and cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, love the ambiance!

Great prices (by LA standards) for a filling and tasty amount of food! I got the happier vegan falafel bowl and my friend got the pacific salmon bowl and they were both so good, amazing flavours and spices! The falafel dish was heavy on the lettuce and small on the falafel which normally I would dislike, but the lettuce was REALLY tasty because of the dressing, a lot more than other restaurants! Overall a pleasant and not too expensive dining experience! Stands out among the fast food places and unaffordable restaurants. Staff friendly too!! Negative: they didnt take cash

Used during my trip to Los Angeles. It was nice to have a lot of vegetables with a light seasoning. The price was just under $20 per person including drinks. The interior of the store is bright and the customer service is friendly, making it recommended for Japanese tourists as well.

I ve tried their food a lot . Obviously it s better in person so you can avoid mistakes like these. But I asked for well done meat and it s happened more than once that they send it with blood. Google Maps ordering has the greatest level of meal customization and I was trying to order multiple times but when placing the order it shows me an error. It might be some issue on your system side, could you please take a look? It would be some much easier to order a custom meal via Google Maps. Thanks!

Delicious, fresh food at a reasonable price. The chicken katsu bowl was incredible and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The place was very clean and service was so friendly and accommodating. Staff puts in a lot of effort to make sure the experience is pleasant. Exceeded our expectations and we left very full after finishing with the carrot cake cupcakes. Highly recommend!

Multiple times coming into this location before 11am (open) to pick an order up only to have them ask me howd you get in here? why are you here we open at 11? youre here early! Why are you accepting online orders before 11am? Why are the doors open (multiple days across months) before 11am? Why are you so rude to someone trying to do their job when obviously nobody at this location is trying to do theirs? Heres your solution: Dont turn on the iPad for orders before 11am, dont unlock the doors before 11am, and if someone appears in your restaurant before opening, for God sakes, give them the same respect and customer service you would a paying customer at 11am. Its easy to make excuses and say understaffing is the cause but why is this an issue exclusively at this location? No other tender greens or restaurants in downtown SaMo suffer with this. Figure it out!

As soon as I hit the door I felt the good energy ...the atmosphere and physical decor were great the food of course very good and the portions compared to other locations seemed a bit more plentiful ! . I received excellent service from cashier DAMIAN-MICHAEL & food runner TINO ...I will definitely be back in the near future !

Love this place! Its fast food, but healthier. I ordered the fried buttermilk chicken and love that its boneless but skin-on. The sides are great, with a good blend of both healthy and not so healthy sides. A good place for a quick bite!

Love this place but cashier Sydney is so rude and looks unhappy to work at tender greens. Didnt even give me my receipt and when I asked she looked bothered. She needs some training how to treat customers. A smiling face wouldnt hurt either!!!

The Large (Quart Size) Rustic Chicken Soup used to be my favorite, filled with lots of chicken & potatoes. Now, not so much. Very little chicken, not filled to the top and definitely not enough for 3 let alone 4 people. I will never again.... Santa Monica Location

In the last half of a year I used to go to these place a few times a week. The staff is extremely nice and always ready to help. Unfortunately in the last couple of months, the meal quality changed, I ve got undercooked rice, no bread (it happened multiple times), and salads are not as fresh as it used to be.

Great custom menu choices and hats off to the chef. The flavors sung with item blended well and there were decent views of the ocean. Service was good, but could have smiled a bit more.

Used to LOVE this place. Last few times? The salmon portions got way smaller, almost half of it is SKIN, but still $14. Husband asked for mixed veggies & got yams :( Nobody likes sweet potatoes when they want vegetables.

Tender greens used to prepare your meal as you walked by the counter and then deliver it to you at the cash register. That was nice. Now they leave you sitting in the restaurant for 15 minutes without food while they fill web orders as a priority over seated customers. Very lame service, when all you have to offer is service. It took 38 mins to get our food after the order was placed.

Delicious fresh and tender greens. Really loved the vegan salad and falafel. Soo good I ate here 2 days in a row on a beach getaway weekend to Santa monica. Googled and Found one close to my home...more tendergreens please!! The service was awesome! A new employee was in need of help on the register while taking my order and their coworker stepped in to help both days each tim . The companys commitment to making the world a better place by employing foster youth is very commendable. If they can do that surely I can commit to eating that delicious vegan salad - no Farro, double green hummus- at lead once a week..!!
