My go-to spot every time I visit Santa Monica or Vegas! Soy chorizo pizza and Spanish latte are my absolute favorite. Oh, and don't forget the pastries,salads, and sandwiches.. all amazing!!

Where do I even start????? Sorry, but this is a horrible place. I've been here a few times and I had never looked at reviews because I was recommended by a friend. If you're seeing this then SAVE YOURSELF and do not come here.

Went here most recently a week ago. My phone, drivers license, AND all of my debit and credit cards got stolen out of my purse without me even realizing it.

There is very clearly ORGANIZED THEFT here. Asked an employee if there was a lost and found and he LAUGHED at me and said to wait in the corner on the patio so when everyone left we could go around the place and look for it after closing. Like he made me feel so stupid and dumb for even asking him. So then here I am literally sitting WHERE I WAS TOLD TO SIT anxious out of my mind and a guard comes up around 1:45 am and starts yelling at us to leave and I tried to explain to him that we were told to sit over here but he didn't even care and started pushing us out. I am just so disappointed in the way this was handled. I know they can't do much about my phone and stuff being gone but at least have some sympathy for someone who just got all their money, identity, and phone stolen.

BTW the people who stole my phone had already tried to charge $5,000 onto my card and various other charges from Mexico by the time it hit 3am. These people are absolute idiots. This place created such a nightmare for me and I am so beyond disappointed. It is BEYOND me that anyone would want to go here knowing this happens every night.

Last thing, lots of creepy men. These people literally prey on you and clearly don't know how to flirt or respect boundaries whatsoever. It is actually embarrassing to me how some people are so confident and creepy at this place. Very sad that me and so many other people do not feel safe here.

I have never dined here. I usually go for the salsa dancing. It's 12 cover charge and you get to learn salsa and bachata if get there by 8:00 pm. Great crowd and mostly friendly people. A lot of regulars too.
The instructor is great and provides lessons for a fee at her studio if you're serious about learning salsa.

Good ambience, good food. Make sure you’re healthy enough to come to this place. They will check your temperature before you’re in and they will give you barcode to see the menu. We order some food and it’s delicious and had pretty big size. Red velvet pancake, burger and fries.

Believe the reviews about stolen phones. My phone was stolen here and while I was looking for it someone in the bar told me there is an organized phone theft ring. Staff were aggressive and rude when I asked for lost and found.

This is the worst place I have ever been to. Went there on a Friday night and the bouncers are horrible. I was very respectful to all the bouncers as they were kicking everyone out for closing while I was waiting for the bathroom. They told me to go pee outside in the bushes. Then proceeded to shove me out. Soon after they shoved my girlfriend out because she asked if she can wait for her friend that was in the bathroom. This is super unprofessional and Im surprised this place is still a business. Peoples phones are stolen here constantly, people are drugged, and the bouncers will fight people for no reason. The bouncers also do not care when someone is drugged and trying to get help. If there is one piece of advice I have for anyone on this planet it is DO NOT go to this place.

Stay away! I visited on May 17 and had a horrible experience. The bouncers were extremely unprofessional and on a power trip. One of them shoved me down the steps all the way outside near closing time just because I was waiting for my friend in the bathroom. Their aggressive behavior is a serious safety risk!

Unfortunately I won t return here. Dancers are not safe.. phones are not safe - too many people I know have phones stolen from their pockets!!!!.. I witnessed first hand dismissive, callous demeanor of security when it is reported. We informed the organizers of people who are a real life danger to the female clientele but the popularity contest was won at the expense of our safety. Favoritism is at all time high.. Never imagined this place would turn boujie.. As long as you have a nice smile and slick your hair back with your shirt unbuttoned you get free access to run a muck at the Vic.

The area is not so good, had to step over a few homeless walking down Main Street and it smelled pretty rank Just about every person working there had an attitude. Made it really unenjoyable especially when you catch the bartender tipping themself on your card. Had to call Visa to remove that charge this should not be legal

So I actually cant comment on the food and the service because I went there on May 5th for Cinco de Mayo and it turns out someone screwed up on their end and they moved the Cinco de Mayo celebration WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE to May 4th. So we show up on the 5th and the place is completely dead. Such a waste of time. We left immediately.

My favorite salsa dance night in California! It s also the biggest one. Lots of great dancers, a dedicated floor for bachata upstairs, classes are with Nicole Gil (one of the best teachers in LA). Highly recommended for anyone who loves dancing, Latin music and good times!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The food may be decent, but the bouncers are a whole different story. They re completely unprofessional, aggressive, and seem to be on a power trip. The security is a joke, and I witnessed multiple instances of harassment and intimidation. I even saw someone get rough-handled for no reason. To top it off, the place is a pickpocket s paradise - I saw multiple instances of suspicious activity and even had my own wallet almost stolen! Upon leaving I saw 2 police cars in the parking lot responding to cars with slashed tires. The management needs to take responsibility and replace these thugs with competent, customer-friendly staff. Until then, I ll be taking my business (and my safety) elsewhere. Zero stars and a strong warning to anyone considering a visit - STAY AWAY!

The Victorian is one of my favourite bars to go. Good music, great vibes, and lots of pretty girls. My biggest complaint are the bouncers. Genuinely every single one of them is always on an ego-trip when enforcing the rules. Imagine thinking that you can treat people however way you want just because you have a tiny bit of power. Would not accept a passport as legal ID and demanded only state issued ID. I ve attended countless bars in the US with a Canadian passport without issue- the bouncer on shift was rude and unapologetic about the situation and despite there being no line, rapidly pushed me out of the queue. Would not recommend for anyone looking for a peasant night out, best to keep it safe with Bungalow.

Fun bar with good vibes and service. I would give an extra star if I could because I ended up loosing my wallet while out that night and started backtracking. Although the Victorian doesn t answer phone calls I was able to email them and to my surprise they did have my wallet and kept it safe for me in the office with all of my original contents and was able to get it back!

I always have fun here, but the gang of pickpockets have taken over, making it impossible to enjoy your night without losing your phone out of your purse on the dance floor. Last night I met multiple people by overhearing them talking about how their phone was missing also. Very sad security does nothing to prevent this and lowkey seem like they re cool with it

I had the worst and the most traumatic experience, and I decided to never come back ever since. I was literally chased to my car by someone I met from the Victorian on one of those salsa nights on a Thursday. I had to call the cops and make a report. I tried asking security if I can see their video footage so that I can see what the man who chased me looks like in case I go to another salsa dance club. They gave me the biggest hassle, and was no help. I even spoke to the promoter N, who handles the salsa dancing events, and she was so rude to me. She told me she knew who the guy was that chased me and said he was a dancer, and he wouldn t do something like this. I was devastated. Since then, people she works with have been giving me problems. I would be very careful going to this place bc security is no use, and the promoter doesn t care about your safety. Also, a lot COPs from Santa Monica Police Department are Friends with the owner. They try to minimize issues so that they have a good reputation. Don t be fooled by the fake reviews. I m sure it s all paid for.

Do not go here for major holidays (Halloween, Nye, etc) unless you enjoy spending an entire evening in a line with blackout drunk 21 year olds, and music so loud you are unable to have an audible human conversation with friends, let alone the people you will inevitably get into a disagreement with. You will be packed like a sardine into a fire hazard. The management here decided to oversell tickets to the point where it probably shouldnt be legal. They literally have bouncers for the womens TWO bathrooms, which is sadly necessary because the lines blend into the dance floor and fights break out as people are pushed into walls and lose track of the line. Theres literally four toilets for a venue with a thousand people on holidays. Unless you have ear drum protection, a huge bladder, plans to stand outside the entire night and disinterest in buying alcoholic drinks, avoid this venue on any major holidays. Advice to management: be thoughtful about quality and monetization. Cut the number of tickets sold in half, reduce your bouncers/security and triple the price of tickets and drinks instead. This is such a cool architectural venue with a sick location. It makes me sad to see management abusing it with uncontained toxic overcrowding and careless monetization.

The place is cool and definitely a younger crowd vibe. However, the night I went my phone was stolen. After asking around another girl also said she got her phone stolen. After reading tons of other reviews and hearing from other mutual friends that pickpocketing is a major problem here, I won t be back. Came here for dinner on a Saturday night with clients and didnt know what to expect. The seating is on the outside only and we got seated on two low couches with a coffee table as our dinner table. The food wasnt that great - I ordered the margarita pizza and I do not recommend. At all. Probably the best dish was their burger, which I had a bite of someone elses. The average age of this place is probably 21, so it was fun to people watch as the night wore on, but definitely not the crowd for me. The place has a nice atmosphere and the music was great.

In A Nutshell: -The Victorian is a venue that hosts a wide variety of events. -I happened to stumble into a monthly Farmers Market for hippies. -There were various vendors selling lotions, creams & other fragrances. -The vibes were really friendly. -The two story house had a lot of cool nooks & crannies to chill. -There were also three bars & a DJ setup. -The courtyard was very nice. Overall, this is a really cool venue to rent out for an event or to attend.

This was probably the worst club Ive ever been to. The atmosphere is really sad, drinks are so ridiculously overpriced ($15 for just a straight shot of vodka) and the bouncers are physically abusive, shoving people and refusing to let people out. I had ordered a lyft and a bouncer refused to let me down to leave despite that I showed him the order. I had to repeatedly show him otherwise he would have made me miss it and wait another half hour or so before he let me through. They are so rude and will not listen to you, instead just shouting at you and not giving you a second thought. Go anywhere else if you want to enjoy yourself.

Dancing night in Thursday is advertised till 2 am. There s no mention of them turning the lights on, shutting off the music and kicking people out at 1:20 am. I understand that they can t have anyone drinking on the property past 2 am, but why say it s 2 am when it s 40 minutes before then? Didn t encounter that anywhere else and I go to a lot of social dancing events.

Terrible service. I was waiting in line, the boucners said it was full when i saw over thirty people leave. They were extremely rude to me, I really did not appreciate it, especially after spending half an hour in line.

For how assertive the Victorians secuirty is, there is still a ton of pickpocketing and seemingly very, very little willingness to address it. This is a huge issue, and it doesnt occur anywhere else on the westside as often. You guys need to figure this out (see how every other review is about someone being pickpocketed? Thats not normal). Also, $14 beers are not normal. $17 for a shot of is outrageous. Bartenders taking advantage of drunk patrons by selecting 40-70% tips (which are somehow auto-recommended?) on iPads and swiping cards is not ok. Ive seen that happen on multiple occasions and have myself had to call Visa to correct erroneous charges and tips. The Victorian is a great venue. But its not so great that people will continue going there with rampant crime, sleazy bartenders, and beyond-overpriced drinks. Id love to see this place remain in business, but some fundamental things have to be fixed on the nightlife front if that is gonna happen. P.S: no one is going to tip your bartenders if you charge $30 per drink... especially young people who makeup 80% of your weekend clientele. From a business sustainability standpoint, that should probably be fixed.

Was a fun night until I realized that the bartender on the outside patio overcharged and ripped me off. I don t appreciate getting scammed especially when my girlfriends and I brought so much business with multiple purchases of food and drinks.

I have never dined here. I usually go for the salsa dancing. Its 12 cover charge and you get to learn salsa and bachata if get there by 8:00 pm. Great crowd and mostly friendly people. A lot of regulars too. The instructor is great and provides lessons for a fee at her studio if youre serious about learning salsa.

Doesn t take the safety of its clientele seriously. A female friend got cornered by a drunk man on the floor and couldn t get away from him. He continued to grab her by the waist and pull her into him. I couldn t stop him so I tried to find help. A female bartender said oh well, he s drunk . Security at the door was too busy with the line to care or call for further help. It s not safe.

Pros: Excellent social scene that blurs the line between a club, a bar, and a house party. There is usually no cover. Almost always crowded. Cons: lots of pickpocketing, so be careful. I ve frequently been double-charged by bartenders and so have my friends. On one occasion, I called VISA to dispute a charge and the representative I spoke to said he was familiar with the Victorian because so many people had called about being erroneously overcharged. Drinks are also generally really expensive: $13-14 dollar beers and $20 mixed drinks. Lines can be horrifically long. My advice to management would be to crack down on crime, and ensure bartenders are not double-dipping on tips/drink purchases.

I used to love this place but I ll never go back because it s notorious for iPhone theft. My phone was stolen here in December 2023. When I asked security and bouncers for help that night, they were unhelpful and insensitive. They were like you re the fourth person tonight asking about a lost iPhone, we can t help you, just call tomorrow morning. Two weeks later, I reluctantly gave this club another try. As I was leaving, there were two people standing at the exit asking bouncers about missing iPhones. Again, bouncers were treating these guys with zero respect and totally insensitive about their missing phones. Anyways, I know my phone was stolen because it had full battery when it went missing but immediately stopped pinging on FindMy (the thief turned it off so I couldn t track them down). Never saw it again. Shelled out 1k for a new iPhone. No night out is worth that much.

Amazing Energy!!! If you are looking for great non stop dance action The Victorian is your place. This spot has 3 different dance levels the music is spell binding, great drinks, tasty food and plenty of seating areas. A nice spot to dance the night away totally drama free. This place has exceptional well trained security and meter parking is available out back. This is an inclusive atmosphere recommend to all ages and ethnicities. Everyone is super hot!!!

This place slaps at night if youre into house party vibes with beautiful people During the day stopping by here for food its expensive. The filet mignon kebab was soy ginger marinated - who the hell does that on a kebab?! I didnt end up getting a meal here and went to The Galley up the street instead

Thursday nights are the best here. The Victorian is a luxurious place for brunch and coffee but Thursday night feels more like Vegas. They have the best DJs and the drinks are strong. Of course theres beautiful people, its Santa Monica!! Not cheap so bring your money.

Google asked me about the food at this place to help the ratings. Ya not going here to eat breakfast, lets get that straight right now! This place is about modern music in a victorian villa setting. Literally a victorian (ok English Villa at best) housing structure with filthy tunes and absolutely adorable people. You really cant go too far wrong. Get there early to avoid queues, but also realise the wait is worth it for the banter in the line alone and the generous pours once youre inside.

We had a large group and they sat us promptly, very fun atmosphere, our server was spread thin and didnt check on us very often but the light bites and cocktails were wonderful. The dance floor upstairs is packed but loads of fun if youre in a partying mood.

Fabulous place for lunch or weekday dinner. It was insane on a Saturday night. Not enough servers, very loud music, even outside, and packs of drunk 21-25 year olds. Great food, good drinks and usually very good service. Wonderful outside space .

Came here as a European and loved the environment. Vibes are immaculate because there are different kinds of music playing in different rooms. Its a massive house so it gives a house party and club mixture vibe.

Victorian house used as a bar and restaurant, with a very welcoming and well-kept environment. The dinner is extraordinarily good and plentiful especially in relation to the price, which remains low. On weekend evenings the bar side comes alive with many people, with an excellent environment for having fun and meeting new people. The cellar is used as a disco.
