Always awkward coming in here for the mediocre food. The couple is fighting out loud every time I have been in there. Food is ok. Nothing great. Just average. haven t had the pizza. My friend said it wasn t anything special. Food definitely not worth the awkwardness of an angry, mad couple fighting. Bad energy in the food and place. They have some plant based and some not plant based. Woman mad about everything the customers do. Not sure why they have a business utilizing customer service. Perhaps a just to go place with no customer service would suit this couple better. Prices high for the product received. Used to not mind spending on mediocre cause it s the middle of the desert. But the mad angry vibes just got to be too much. Rather starve or eat elsewhere. Response to owner My dogs aren t viscous. It s her assuming a breed is aggressive. They both ignored her. They love people. I moved the dogs out of your way off the sidewalk. This area was extremely friendly and laid back until you opened your business. You scare people away. And I don t think I m cool. I didn t even speak with you. Cause I walked in mid argument between you and your husband. Your employee found it awkward and as usual as well. You two don t care who you subject your anger too. Cause you enjoy it so much. It s a shame you use food as a trap to get people to endure it. And I ve been to your cafe when it s dead. Y all are always are arguing and bitter. Been several times. Tried to just enjoy food. Also cold food isn t tasted. Supposed to be cooked. Maybe the air fryer or microwave wasn t working that day. There s other places to eat in town. I ve been with multiple people, everyone says same thing about vibe. She just proved it by her snarky comments that are over exaggerated. Well if you choose to go. Hopefully you enjoy yourself and the couple is in a good mood for a change. I definitely have no interest in going back. The vibe isn t worth the food. I would like the proof my dog is aggressive. That s insulting. But you love insulting people and animals. Cause you need something to be angry about constantly. Put a no dogs sign up if you are that bothered. Oh that s right the bar next door has been there for way longer and super friendly about dogs and people. This woman loves exxaggerating and bullying. Happy to not visit your place again. My chicken was ice cold, I didn t let it sit. I ate one cause u said it was super hot be careful. It was ice cold in the middle. I thought maybe it was just one. Tried the second. Ice again. I m not surprised you took my original honest vague review so personal and attacked me. You could have just let the review be vague. But you blew up. You don t own tecopa. I ve been going there longer than you have been around. But not as long as you have been miserable and hateful. You aren t the mayor either. You have no business to try and ruin my time and experiences in Tecopa. If you want to own to Tecopa and boss the people around then buy it. Assuming you can afford it but until then let others enjoy themselves there. I m sure plenty of people go to Tecopa and your place and enjoy it. Or don t care about their experience at your place. And that s fine. They have the right to. I just placed my experience with your place. I used to go when you weren t there and it was lovely and fun. And people hung out. It s not longer that way. I gave you three stars and didn t trash your business or place. Was honest. I eat many places and go many places. Post a no dogs sign and beware of owner sign so we all know what to do and how to act, according to your delicate ways. I have a right to post an honest view. And apparently you have a right to attack people for leaving reviews. Given your personality when I have been to your restaurant I m not shocked at all that you attacked me and my friend that left a review. And you carry it on. Good bye. Happy to never come to your restaurant again. Tecopa is a great place for me and many others. There is plenty to do there besides go to your restaurant. Kid-friendliness: This place is best if you are a single grown adult. Anything otherwise ticks these people off. And you will hear about it or see the eye rolls. Be careful. Bar next door laid back and cool though

Finding this healthy food in such a remote area was great. Organic and tastey Pizza (arugula and Preciutto) was excellent. My friend got a different pie that was also great. Next door in the same building is a craft beer bar that had a pretty tastey beer to. This place also serves breakfast which web had the next morning. The sausage / egg biscuit was amazing. I also enjoyed a Mocha that was solid. The prices are quite expensive even for organic food but when youre in the desert riding motorcycles for days, its a good find. Side note, when asked if I could fill up my Camelback with water I was told to go buy some water down at the city Reverse osmosis station. Maybe they were looking out for me, maybe not No explanation given. Dietary restrictions: Lots of organic foods Parking: Signage is weak but its the only building in that area so if you are at the intersection youre in the right place.

Really good pizza. Great crust and great toppings. I also tried a mocha and cappuccino, both were brewed to perfection. The coffee went so well with the delicious homemade coffee cake. If youre in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for some food and to enjoy the beautiful photography in the cozy dining room.

What a delightful place! Courtney & John were so friendly & helpful about places to check out in Tecopa & areas beyond in Death Valley. Now for the food - delicious! My husband had the Quiche which came with a lovely little side salad with vinaigrette. I had the Butternut Squash Bisque (amazing!) which came with a slice of heavenly home made bread. The walls were filled with photographs taken by John of the beauty of the desert and mountains. We are looking forward to the next time!

This place is wonderful. They have breakfast, sandwiches and also pizza in the evenings. There s also a menu for those who want plant-based / vegan. If that is how you eat, you HAVE to stop here. It is a very friendly place filled with photos taken by the proprietors who will also tell you the local places to go. A special place. Vegetarian options: There is a plant-based menu including a BLT with house made coconut bacon. There are also plant-based bakery items. I was delighted. For non-vegan vegetarians there are additional menu items with egg and cheese. If you re travelling with meat eaters there are great options for them too.

Wonderful Place. Me and my husband were in death valley for the long weekend. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We are vegetarians and I loved the fact that the cafe had so many vegan/ vegetarian options. We ordered a soba noodle salad, a slice of cheese pizza, 2 bagels with cream cheese and 2 garlic and spinach calazones. The food was very fresh and yum! The bagels were the tastiest Ive ever eaten. The calazones were actually skull shaped. I could see so much thought and creativity in everything I ate. We were so happy with our breakfast that we came back for dinner on the same day! There wasnt a lot left as we went when it was almost closing time but the chef was extremely kind to serve us fresh tomato soup, soba noodle salad and a calazone which I devoured. Huge shout-out to the entire staff running this place and Id definitely highly recommend it!

This place was such a treat to find after coming down from Death Valley on a December afternoon. The patio was sunny and totally relaxing and made the food even more enjoyable. I had the caesar salad, pal-zone (vegan, I think) calzone, caprese sandwich on home made focaccia (way better and truer than most so-called focaccia sold in the US), hot chocolate, dragonfruit smoothie, egg+cheese on homemade biscuit, breakfast burrito and avocado toast, and it was all so good. Finding such high quality vegetarian food on the road is rare, and Kit Fox Cafe serves it up without any fuss.

I recently visited Kit Fox Coffee and I have to say, it was absolutely amazing! The homemade food was delicious and the wood-fired pizza was simply incredible. But what really made this place stand out was the owner - she was an absolute sweetheart and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere of Kit Fox Coffee was cozy and charming, with a rustic feel that added to the overall experience. I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and the comfortable seating options. It was a great place to relax and enjoy some amazing food and coffee. The wood-fired pizza was definitely a highlight of our visit. The crust was perfectly crispy and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It was obvious that a lot of care and attention went into making it. The homemade food was equally delicious. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh and carefully chosen. It was great to see such attention to detail in the preparation of the food. Overall, I would highly recommend Kit Fox Coffee to anyone looking for a great coffee and dining experience. The owners kindness and warmth really made our visit extra special, and the homemade food and wood-fired pizza were simply amazing. I cant wait to visit again soon!

How could we say no to that? Its a quaint little spot. Reminds me of the mom and pops in Hawaii. Courtneys husband, John, cooks the pizza for the restaurant while Courtney makes the sandwiches and the coffees and teas. The sandwiches were delicious. They reliably have in-house baked bagels, foccacia, pastries, cookies, sometimes pie and other seasonal capricious surprises. Soups/specials of the day are always delicious, and the regular menu never disappoints (try the Caesar salad or caprese sandwich!), calzones and wood-fired pizza in the evenings are on point!! Im vegan and appreciate the wide array of wonderful options for me and anyone else of different dietary needs I might eat here with. WOW! What a great surprise. We have been coming to Tecopa for a long time now. And hands down, this is a great new addition to the food scene and community there. It is the only cafe open early to serve coffee as well. We heard about it from a local person and the buzz around Tocopa was the new pizza oven which he built like last week I think. In the end, we had five meals and would go for more if we hadnt left. We had Pizza, a Gyro sandwich, Caprese sandwiches (homemade focaccia and pesto), Homemade tomato soup, breakfast burritos, homemade cookies and fresh berry scones as well as tasty coffee. Everything was fresh and made with care. They had vegan and veggie options if thats what you want. The people running the cafe are amazing and this is the second season they said. They were friendly, warm and completely accommodating and we wish them all the success in the world for their amazing efforts.

Tacopa is the very definition of bfe, and I came with enough groceries to last the week expecting no good options locally. When I checked in the cafe was recommended to me and now I am recommending to everyone. They make their own bagels and pie crust. Probably had the best BLT Ive ever had here. I will update this when I get to try breakfast and coffee, but I am super impressed. Finding it here is as surprising as a unicorn.

Must go cafe! Great experience, you can taste the quality in the food, the coffee is organic and dairy alternatives are offered, they have a good variety of dishes for a small place that can suit most of the tastes. The hosts were very kind and gave us recommendations for the surroundings, this place is full of history and love, highly recommended.

We stayed in Tecopa three days and after finding this awesome place the first morning, we looked forward to coming back the following two. The baked goods are so amazing we bought some to bring home and share with friends and family! We had a couple of calzones for dinner one night, (a pepperoni and mushroom, and a chicken and artichoke) and they were delicious. John & Courtney are awesome people to talk to and very passionate about their business. If you are in the area, dont miss this Gem in Tecopa!

The sweetest couple own this tiny cafe where the most wonderful food is made. The baked goods are incredible. She even baked an extra loaf of focacia for me! We just went in for coffee and a pastry and wound up having lunch there two days in a row. In addition to the great food, we got the best advice on places to visit in the area. We will certainly be back!

I visited The Kit Fox Cafe on a long motorcycle trip and was glad that I found this place. It is a true oasis in the middle of desert. Everything homemade from fresh and healthy ingredients. I live in Chicago s Little Italy and haven t had a calzone that was anywhere as good as the one at this cafe. Focaccia bread sandwiches were perfect and the breakfast along with their coffee were beyond those of any new hipster joint in a large metropolis. Did I mention that it has the atmosphere of a home kitchen you don t want to leave? Definitely worth another bike trip to.

Set aside the fact that they provide sustenance in the middle of the desert; Pepperoni roll and a spinach and garlic calzone type baked good, hot out of the oven, that were fresher than your drunk uncle Albert at a Vegas pool party, and more delicious than double fried butter. Couple that with with handmade, home-baked coffee cake that simply has no rival. Full stop. That and some ice cold sparkling water for around $11. I was fortunate to spend a few minutes in the presence of the folks running the place. Clearly, they have a passion for what they do and for the area they are doing it in. They make Tecopa, and the Death Valley area a better place. I will stop by if Im NOT going to be in the area because it and they are that good. You will be on your couch 5 years after eating the food talking about remember how good that food was out to the Kit Fox in Tecopa? Its like that.
