Everything was absolutely delicious! It's our first time here and we fell in love with this place... besides, the service was fast, kind, we were very comfortable here. The place is clean, spacious and music was great.

We ordered a family pack #1 (ribs, chixken, beans, coleslaw and cornbread) and my lil' one had the baby back ribs (includes fries, a chocolate chip cookie and a small beverage). Today is Saturday and soft drinks were only 1.50 :) so, great portions, great prices too!

Delicious no messing about BBQ food

Ate here and had the baby back ribs combo with BBQ chicken and beef brisket my partner had a similar combo .

all the food was excellent, on the menu it states the ribs are award winning and I can see why .

The food came super fast and they have extra BBQ and spicy sauces to help yourself to if needed .

only thing to be aware of is they don't take $100 bills

all in all it was a great experience and I would recommend to everyone

With a perfectly tangy balance, the BBQ sauce is a perfect addition to the succulent meat provided. That being said, the tri-tip and Cajun hot links (comes with onions) are not to be missed either! The service provided here is equally consistent as their meat quality. Employees have always been professional and courteous. I couldn't ask for a better BBQ stalwart! Thank You Joey's! Man this was good! A plate of suhweet potato fries and chopped brisket on a bun. The meat was flavorful, the amount of sauce just right though they offer more if you're into excess, the bun was fluffy and crunchy. Only small request I'd make next time is a bit less butter on the inside of the buns. The butter flavor was not as subtle as I'd prefer. Still bangin' though, and the staff is friendly as can be. Don't hesitate!

The food is very tasty. The prices are good. The customer service is amazing. This just is great to bring the family. After work or just to hang out with your friends to watch games drink some soda or beer and eat some good food with family or friends.

How this place has 4+ stars in beyond me. Its disgusting. I meant to call smoking jonnys bbq but accidentally ordered from this place and felt bad about not showing up to pick up a phone order i made, now I wish I would have. They leave the membrane on the babyback ribs and you cant even chew through it. Someone liked it, that someone was my dog. The brisket shouldnt even be called brisket. It was so dry and brittle, had to be drowned in bbq just to eat it. It was dark gray in color. Theres no way that brisket is smoked. Specially 13 or 14 hours like a brisket should. Do yourself a huge favor and eat elsewhere. This was a $65 lesson for me, never to go back.

A very casual, no nonsense BBQ joint. We stumbled across this place on accident and were happy we did! The tri-tip was excellent, along with the pulled pork. My kids ate all my cornbread pieces so I can t review that, but they said it was awesome! We will definitely be back.

Was here some years back with my lady and our kids. This was after we found the little and unique getaway known as San Pedros fish market(a favorite of ours) destroyed, along with the surrounding amalgamation of small and unique, culturally distinct and varying shops and attractions just to make room for yet another copy and paste area for white and wealthy hipsters and their continued gentrification of people of color(brown, black and even some Asians). We didnt know what to eat after that and just happened to see this spot on maps while driving around. We were in the mood for seafood, but then decided to give this spot a try since we like a good BBQ. I have to say, this place did not disappoint! Delicious food and my kids and my girl loved it and so did I. They know how to make good BBQ, and from what we tasted and the presentation of each plate, they take pride in their BBQ. I highly recommend this joint for some good eats and cant wait to go back whenever we are back in the area. Two thumbs up.

Picked up the Family Pack #2. smoked chicken was moist and flavorful. so well cooked it pulled off the bones easily. Baby back ribs were tender, moist and flavorful. Cornbread and sides (coleslaw and beans) were a perfect balance to the meal. This fed 3 adults with big appetites and there is easily enough for 2 more adults.

Pretty good. I had tri-tip and hot links with potato salad. The beef was tender and juicy. The hot links satisfied my craving. The sauce is good but it s not Woodys. Now, the potato salad was pretty bad. It taste like the use frozen potatoes which is a big no-no. Hence the three star rating. Yes it s bad enough to knock off two stars and hopefully get their attention.

Went here because I was craving BBQ and this place had such a great review. I ordered online and picked it up.we ordered the half rack baby back ribs, variety slider plate, 2 kids 1/4 burgers, and 6 chocolate chip cookies. The customer service was great, the place was very clean, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The shoestring fries were not very good, the sliders were not very good either. The ribs were okay, the sauce was tasty, the mashed potatoes were pretty good. The meats just were either okay or not that great. Sucks I wasted all that on food that wasn t really great.

Joey s Smokin BBQ is the best barbecue in the whole South Bay. The ribs fall off the bone and the sides are to die for definitely worth every penny you pay! Love cornbread and beans slaw delicious also!! This is coming from somebody who worked at Tony Roma s for seven years and prior to that 5 tears at Bobby Rubinos in FL!! I feel I am somewhat of a rib aficionado ao when I say eat at Joey s for best BBQ it 100% truth!

If you re looking for Memphis style BBQ, keep looking. All in all, this was edible, but not great. The meat was so dry that I kept having to pour sauce on it. The pulled pork sandwich does not come with slaw, but you can add it as your side. As a Memphian, this was disappointing. You should always be able to get slaw on your sandwich without it being your side item. The sauces were ok, but again, not the Memphis style that we were hoping for. The cornbread was absolutely not a southern style cornbread. I wasn t expecting this place to remind me of the BBQ places back home, but they still could have done better. Again, not the worst place I ve ever eaten, but not worth a second trip. The biggest complaint is the lack of cleanliness, though. It smelled like dirty mop water and everything was in desperate need of a very deep cleaning and paint job. If not for this, I d have given the place 3 stars.

I just tried this food over the weekend for Fathers day lunch in. I was placing the order a day before at 2am on their super easy order web page. I got confirmation right away and ordered the family meal 3 and 2 extra rib plates. Needless to say I was worried the amount would be enough feeding all the fathers in my family not a easy task . This men are serious critics! But the order was ready on time .with bells and wizels I can tell you all I got from this men were prases on how amazingly delicious the food was. I was just happy the price was at least 65 percent less , I would have paid at one of those restaurants thank you Joeys smoking bbq for making ribs the right way all the way.

This is a rating for a delivery order. It was very tasty. I live pretty far from the restaurant, so my food needed to be heated a bit, but it is NOT their fault. The ribs were cooked to perfection, my son loved his burger.

Good service, but not really anything to write home about. The bbq is merely ok. The baby back ribs were not fall-off-the-bone tender as to be expected and could stand to be smoked/cooked a bit longer. Baby back ribs should be moist and tender and fall off the bone, yet leave behind almost dry clean bones when youre done. The brisket was better, and the bbq sauce, cole slaw, and corn bread were really good though. Overall...meh

The chicken was really good. However the Mac and cheese needed flavor. Also when they said regular or spicy I said spicy and it was not spicy. The ribs had no flavor as well. The people are friendly just think they could do better.

So I will admit I had high hopes for this place since I was in the area and search for barbecue they came up there were several other choices with something about them has stood out. So I made the drive I ordered a slab of baby back ribs greens, macaroni and cheese and a third side of their barbecue beans this was for me and my daughter. So once I made it home the first thing I noticed were the ribs really didnt taste like they have been cooked on a grill 100% and had no smoke flavor, I could be wrong and there are other methods of cooking electric smoker is things like that just to texture was a little watery to me but overall the rib warm bad Ive had much worse and if I was in the area I would probably order the ribs again the biggest issue I had with them it was really no flavor Im going to assume that they use salt and pepper only I would recommend doubling up on the seasoning. Secondly was the macaroni and cheese once again zero flavor my daughter looked at him and laughed we actually had to add seasoning to it just to make it palatable and were not a family who uses excessive salt or things like that but this had zero salt in it next up are the collard greens I really dont know how to write them they had a little flavor but I dont think they were maybe collard greens maybe something else turn up mustard or maybe a combination for me had something unique within the taste but overall I would say not bad the beans were the big surprise so I couldnt tell if they were doctored it up or made from scratch honestly be a combination of both but I did love the flavor what I got was honey sugar in molasses I could be wrong on how they season it but I definitely like the beans so overall I give them three stars my original interpretation was going to be too but Im willing to give them a second opportunity at some point in the future. And people, people remember this is just my opinion I also BBQ so I have expectations that others may not because I know what I expect BBQ taste like I am not a professional. Oh I do remember why I gave them a third star it was a good barbecue sauce whatever their spicy sauce was I actually liked it slightly spicy mustardy vinegary taste definitely better-than-expected not as hot as I would have liked but good

I dont know why they post the many award they won by the window from famous reviewers, because the BBQ sauce was just ok and my beef rib was hard to eat because the meat was stuck to the bone n didnt wanna came off. Beef rib look n feel like it wasnt smoke at all. It feel like they just boil the meat n put it over a hot oven. Glad it only cost $17 for 4 beef ribs bone. Try it if you have no other choice but look else where if you want good BBQ.

Its tough to beat Joeys Smokin BBQ, if you love pulled pork, ribs, brisket, or any other BBQ meat. Plus, their sweet potato fries are to die for. They are very nice people as well. We decided to give this local BBQ joint a try this evening for dinner. The service was friendly and quick, and the price was about right. Heads up for their daily specials. The atmosphere in the restaurant is classic roadside BBQ joint all the way. I especially liked the hand drawn illustrations on paper towels that they used as wall decorations. The table we sat at was a bit dirty, but it was not a huge deal. The food was good. We tried the brisket, tri tip, ribs and onion rings. The tri tip was not the best Ive had, but everything else was on point. The portions were generous, as well. My wife and I split a combo plate, and the kids could have split one kids meal. Overall, this was a solid option for some good old, back east style BBQ. Enjoy!

Excellent BBQ for a very good price. Had the pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. Fantastic! Friendly staff, clean, nice decor. Will be back. Check out the daily specials posted on the door on the way in.
