Came on a Saturday for BBQ chicken, ribs, sausage and pulled pork. Greeted immediately by friendly staff, amicable host. Portions and quality were good for the price. The biscuit bread served as complementary appetizer are good, soft and warm. All meat were tender and moist, great overall. BBQ beans were good. Cl an establishment. Plenty of parking in the mall parking garages.

Friday (4-19-24) dine in for dinner. Personnel very polite, wait time was no more than 10-15 minutes for a two person booth. Clean and good vibe environment. Sever attentive and nice. Expect to spend $20-25 minimal per person. Will go back and do recommend. Thanks .

Lucille's is airways god food. This location was not the best, but it's still pretty good. The ribs were fatty, which nearly ruined my experience. The brisket was fantastic and the sausage was really good. The service was awesome.

Ate here while in town visiting. Food and drinks were really good. I had a brisket sandwich with a hot honey whiskey sour and my husband had the brisket plate with a pitcher of sangria. We also shared an order of cracked out Deviled eggs. Everything was really good. Will come back if we are in the area again.

Wow, worst service! The bartenders seemed more concerned with doing paperwork, cleaning and watching TV then their customers. They didn't have the beer I wanted but still had the tap on. I chose another beer and got served after that ignored. The bar was not busy and the bartenders walked past me repeatedly and never made eye contact. I'm sorry but I should not have ask you to serve me.

The brisket was a little rubbery, I like it to melt in my mouth. The baby back ribs were a little tuff. I like them to come off the bone easier. The best side was potato salad. I loved the biscuit and apple butter. The desert was amazing strawberry 🍓 banana pudding.

Crowded and busy. Loud noise. Excellent service. Food is OK if you into baby back ribs. They served free home baked biscuits with sweet butter. We ordered the Devils Egg for appetizer & Baby Back Ribs & Bbq Tri-Tip . Mashed potato is very good . Very filling. I do recommend!

Hi, it s Manuel probably my 2nd time that, I eat here it s probably been awhile that I can t remember. Thanks to friends that got us gift cards from Lucille s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que. I got to spend my birthday on the 22nd of October at Lucille s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que! I had a blast at the restaurant with my parents got to drink and get happy for a while eat delicious food. I chose WINNER, WINNER CHICKEN LUNCH and it was delicious that I couldn t even finish it they give you a good portion of chicken,mash, potatoes, buttered Corn and veggies! My Mom and Dad got two different plates. My mom got a HOT HONEY GLAZED SALMON she told me she loved it! My dad got SMOKED PULLED PORK with veggies and fries he said it was ok. I can t eat pork so I can t judge on that plate. Thank you Lucille s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que for my chocolate birthday cake made by the server/Waiter. Really Appreciate it!

Food is passable BBQ. Meets all the basic requirements. There is nothing special and it feels like just chain restaurant feed. I have been there a few times and feel no need to go back soon. Service is not good. Servers who distract from their inexperience by being annoyed by the customers. Atmosphere is just chain restaurant - feels contrived.

I have been going to Lucille for years and I must honestly say that it has never disappointed me, the meat is excellent, the Onion Straws incredible. As a good Italian I avoid eating the pasta on the side because it is overcooked and sticky, but obviously we Italians dont joke with pasta, for everything else it is always a pleasure to go and eat there.

The service is outstanding. The food needs a bit of help when it comes to the meats. The ribs and chicken is just salt flavor (no other noticeable flavors incorporated). The sides are good, but they need a pit master with experience to bring the full meal effect home.

Had the brisket to go. The meat was extremely tough and the fat wasnt even rendered enough to be tender. Sure sign of a higher heat cooking for a short period vs the low and slow needed. It wasnt even mediocre and I left the last piece. The corn pudding was passable and there was nothing bad wrong with the mashed potatoes. The staff were really friendly, the place is clean, and it had a good atmosphere as far as i could tell during pickup. If youre just looking for something that will fill you up, this will do, but it isnt an economical price for what you get. Maybe they have some better dishes, but its very unprofessional to call yourself a bbq joint and have really bad brisket.

I had the 2 Meat Combo, 2 Beef Ribs and Tri Tip with Vegetables and Baked Beans. The Beef Ribs were cooked perfectly with a sweet barbeque sauce and the meat had a nice smoky flavor that came off the bone with a slight tug. Perfect!!! Tri Tip was very tender and juicy with a real nice smoky flavor. Vegetables were nothing special and the Baked Beans were delicious. I would definitely come back again. Good did not disappoint and the service is outstanding.

Poor service was experienced from the hosts staff, Devin and Lisa. Upon arrival around 9:20 PM, there was a lack of attention from the staff. The host informed us that the patio section was closed, and directed us inside to choose a table. Devin shows up upset that we sat there, as servers were not in, and asked us to move to a different area as were not supposed to be there. He repeatedly emphasized that they do not offer self-seating, despite the fact that we had been guided to our table. The staffs rude behavior continued as he walked us to an empty aisle to sit at one of the tables, still repeating that they dont do self-service, as if were lying! He throws a drink menu and in differently turns away!! Waitress Lisa came in a minute to take our order without allowing us time to look at the menu. We tried to rush and look, she then asked if we need a minute. Frustrated, we mentioned that we dont even know if were still interested in ordering after all the seating issues. Lisa, ignored what we said, makes a face, looks away and repeats do you need more time to order? Then she walked with a face! We decided to leave and find a place with better service. As a result of this incident, we will no longer be ordering from Lucilles for future work events. PS. The lady inviting me did not speak English so they felt entitled to treat her poorly, and I wouldnt accept such behavior, this venue needs to hire more mature people who are respectful to elder who dont necessary speak English or Spanish.

We went for lunch. The food was superb (fried chicken lunch special) and was only surpassed by our excellent service! Outstanding in every imaginable way possible. He was friendly, fast, checked in to see how our meal tasted, brought doggy bag packaging and the bill to our table, all without even being asked twice. And realky ... lunch and my drink (with tax) was under $19. It is hard to beat that price at a restaurant this nice!!! We witnessed a family enjoying a lunch celebration of a young graduate at a nearby table. They ordered a couple of the tour of barbecue offered on the menu. Wow!! Those trays of ribs and other barbecued food looked so good!!

My family and I went to the Torrance location on 05-16-2024 to celebrate a late Mothers Day. Our reservation was for 6 pm, and we were sat pretty quickly. The waiter came over, took our orders, and did his business. Which, by the way, this night was not a particularly busy night. Sent back a salad (the waiter rolled his eyes when it got handed back to him) that had tomatoes when asked for no tomatoes. The Ranch didnt quite taste right. My brother in law had to ask for refills, and only one person got the refill, and we asked a 2nd time, and that time, no one got drink refills. 2 desserts were ordered, the deep dish peach cobbler and Snickers Pie. The cake for the cobbler didnt taste right, and thankfully, the whip cream for the Snickers pie was on the side cause it was rancid. Before any of that, we got fried pickles and onion straws, which were cold. To top the whole night off we watched our waiter talking for 20 mins before walking by us for us to ask for the check AND he was facing our table! The waiter only asked us once through the 2 hours we sat there if we needed anything. Yes, I have emailed already and havent gotten a response at all. $187 check for poor service and cold food.

I tried to order online and the store says closed I called and a rude employee told me they do not take orders over the phone and I had to go order there and wait. I love bbq but no way. No one bothered to contact me. What a horribly run restaurant. I wonder if this is the way they respond to their customers if they even bother to clean their kitchen

The staff is very unprofessional. I attempted to pay for my order with a credit card and was denied. I was told because my card didnt have a chip, they were unable to process my order. This seemed strange, however I didnt overreact. I simply asked for a nearby ATM and was rudely shunned, away. The next morning I called the restaurant and they informed me that they do have the capability to magnetically swipe credit cards and its quite possible that the hostess was unaware. This also seemed very strange. Considering, Ive worked in the hospitality field and am aware of proper training assigned to workers according to their station. How could a hostess, assigned to cashiering not be made aware of alternative methods, involving credit card transactions? This whole situation was very embarrassing. It seemed as if the front staff were trying to provoke an altercation. I used to enjoy dining at Lucilles, however after this embarrassing incident I will no longer patronize their business. By the way, Im African American.

Managers, if your employees are clocked out, why are they walking the floor ? I went to dinner with my family near closing time, we got attended fairly okay , the staff just looked like they wanted to go home. I mean I understand but y all need to fake it or something! Many waiters (including ours) had AirPods on , on their phones in the back kitchen. Some sitting on the booths watching the basketball game. I mean really? Where are the managers ?? Any who , at the end of everything I asked my waiter for to go boxes. He brought them but brought no bag. Mind you I had my 7 month old baby, my 3 year old who was ready to go home after a long day. I was dealing with them at the moment and didn t realize I needed a bag. I had three boxes to carry out. I had to carry out my two kids, baby bag, and car seat. I mean our waiter could have thought of that right? But I guess I shouldn t expect more from teenager employees who don t know about parenting. Well the waiter went missing, i needed a bag. I see this girl employee who looks like she works in the front counter area (flannel shirt), walking around in circles and circles . I say to myself I ll ask her for a bag . I call the girl over and ask excuse me, can I get a bag to go? And she goes respectfully, I m clocked out. Are you kidding me??? The entitlement. And rudeness. But most importantly why are you walking the floor if you re clocked out? Go home! If you re waiting for a ride , wait outside or in your break room. If you re walking the floor, people will think you re on the clock. So anyway I had to walk to the kitchen entrance myself, with my baby in my arms, and I found this other girl employee from the back kitchen (white shirt) who had a purse in her arm and looked like she was clocked out too and ready to go. I ask her for a bag and she quickly says yes and politely gives me one. Simple! Sigh I mean what ever happened to customer service? I walk out with my family and the first girl is just sitting in the front couch with a fuchy entitled face. I mean the audacity. Where were the managers? Even if there were managers on the floor, I couldn t tell , maybe because they spoil these kids and let them do what ever they want. On a positive note, the food was great as always. Shoutout to the good old Lucille recipes and the cooks. But Lucille needs to step up their hiring process! Don t hire lazy college kids . Bad experience today at Del Amo.

I placed my order online today and gave them a very nice tip. Only to find that my order was incomplete when I got home and looked in the bag. My deviled egg appetizer was NOT included and they did not include any apple butter for the biscuits. The ribs were over cooked. I called to inform them of the missing items, the girl said, oh we still have them, are you still in the area? I said no, and she said, let me get you the manager. I literally waited on hold for 30 minutes and no one ever came to the phone. NEVER AGAIN! I NEED A REFUND!

This was my first time going here. I was not impressed. We ordered a full rack of beef ribs, which should be 9 to 13 ribs and was charged an additional $16.00 for them and found them to be extremely small in portion. The bisquets were hard, but the butter was good. My family, who has ate here before, stated that we received only half of what was normally given in times past. Our total meal was $90, which is a lot for only six ribs and four thin strips of brisket and small sites of potatoes and two if mac n cheese. I am very disappointed. Update: My cousin went there today and was charged $146.00 for 14 ribs but cancelled her order. Went to another place and got 24 ribs for $75.00. This place is a rip off!

For Lucilles to represent southern cooking I was taken back by the lack of taste. Was literally told they no longer season their fries. Like huh??? The best part of my meal was their bread which was amazing. Loaded mashed potatoes were drenched in butter. It had more butter than potatoes. I couldnt even eat it. Prob not going back. 45 min wait $150 bill not worth it.

This was such an incredible experience!! On every morsal the food was top of the line, delicious and we all unanimously thought this is our favorite barbecue restaurant. The server and the ambiance was relaxing friendly and beautiful. Wonderful!!!!

On line site from Google maps for Lucilles has menu items listed cheaper than what is charged at store. I looked at their lunch menu and found pulled pork sandwiches for $10.99. Drove to Lucilles to order 3 take out sandwiches and they charged $16.99 each. Total for 3 sandwiches and 2 sides of coleslaw was $62! When I questioned it, I was told I was wrong, that the prices are the same on line as in the store. Thinking I misread the menu, I stepped aside and pulled it up. Then I asked to speak to the manager, and showed her the online price, she said Oh thats wrong. We raised our prices but havent had a chance to change that site. You have to go to the original web site with the icon.. I told her that was ridiculous and misleading. So I told her to cancel my order if she was not going to adjust it to the posted price of $10.99 each. She didnt change it, just canceled the order, and then told me it would take 1-3 days for the refund! I will never go here again!

Very popular and busy on a Saturday night. 35 minute wait at 6pm. Sat at bar right away and service was excellent and served in fast 15 minutes! Ribs and slaw excellent, margarita $6.70 deal. Prices on website for rib dinner $ 22.35 .actual was 30.50. Need to update website.

Been here twice in the last 5 years and I couldnt remember why. First I wanna say my server was great. He was attentive knowledgeable and very friendly. The food on the other hand was atrocious. I had the 3 meat and my wife had the bbq bacon burger, a cocktail and we shared the cracked deviled eggs. Well start with the good. The eggs and the cocktail were decent . The biscuits and butter were a hit but that burger was dry, the bread was burnt from the inside. The 3 meat lunch was all over cooked. The sausage was ahh, the pork ribs were burnt and not properly prepared ( back membrane aka silverskin not removed inedible). Take the extra time and remove it. Youre a BBQ place for Gods sake. The brisket was the toughest piece of meat Ive had in a while. I ate the food because I paid for it and was hungry. But now I remember why I hadnt been here in so long. Felt sad everytime I saw someone walking out with a large order. Save yourself the money and go to a local place like Rays BBQ in Huntington Park ( amazing probably the best brisket ever) or Moos BBQ almost everything is good. Yes they are a bit more pricey but you get what you pay for which is more than I can say for Lucilles.

Tried to place an order online It says on the site you can use a gift card The system didn t accept my card and said call the restaurant I call the restaurant and they say I can place an order in person. I explain I don t want you to wait The manager says they aren t taking phone orders today The lady on the phone says the in person wait depends on how busy it is, and it isn t busy now So they sell gift cards, but you can t use them online, even when the website says you can. The restaurant won t help. Terrible customer service to say the least I emailed them at their request. Crickets

I always ask for brisket, no bbq sauce, fatty cut (wet). This time it was the driest toughest brisket I have ever had. McDonald s plain burger patties would have been better. Also, the server didn t seem to understand what the issue was but was a pleasant person trying to do her job. Come on folks. Can t be a BBQ restaurant and serve this.

I moved from vegas and missed Lucille in Redrock resort so I thought should go here to Lucille s, I made biggest mistake the food was awful. It wasn t bbq. It was like food cooked in macrovawe. Didn t cooked we and cold. Server changed and brought new one but still the same. I just paid and left. Shame on this chef. He should go vegas and get trained.

Horrible service and mediocre food. I came in with a party of 4, 1 hour and a half before closing and was greeted by the host with a smug remark under his breath are you serious . He then asked us in an annoyed tone. So how many? . Afterward we were taken to our table and when the server came up to us, they were fowl mood and were rushing to take our orders and get us out of the restaurant as soon as possible. She took 1 order wrong and took it out on the group by slamming doors and nearly throwing the plate on the table. The food was mediocre at best 2 members of my party ordered steak and one received a steak half the size of the other almost being a flank of steak. We all received cold sides and 1 burger was half fatty meat. I will not come to this establishment and I understand the need for wanting to close but there is no need to treat your customers like a herd of cattle in and out of a corral.

OMG! So good! Garlic mash, garlic in every bite - no vampires comin my way anytime soon, full rack of baby backs - moist, meaty, marvelous! Didn t hardly use my napkin- too busy licking the delicious sauce. And OMG part 2 - the Snickers mud pie?! So excited that there s one close to home.

Dominique is an outstanding leader. She came in and started putting out fires left and right. Helped all servers and bartenders complete tasks. Just awesome!! All amongst the Thanksgiving craziness. Love her.

Snotty and rude hostess. Refused to seat us with an empty restaurant. Pathetic showing from such a reputable brand. I will be in contact with corporate to discuss the hostess and the condition of the restaurant.

I paid 70$ or 7 rib take out (beef) The ribs had no meat on them! One side had meat the other side pure bone plus they left a side out Food : 2/5

The server was very friendly and professional. I ordered the BBQ beef sandwich. It couldve been better, but coming from a town known for BBQ, my standards are a little high. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

Just had lunch today at the Torrance location & was surprised to find that burnt beef tips are no longer an entree option - nor are beef ribs available at lunch. I tried the new brisket fajita entree & was very disappointed as about 25% of the brisket cubes were virtually ALL fat and the dish itself was not particularly tasty. In response to my complaint, I was given several pieces of sliced brisket - which contained more fat than I ve ever been served there before! I have been a regular customer, but no longer.

Its BBQ.. Lucilles cooks there meat in a Smoker, Low and Slow! Most the time Its Great Food.. just like everything else, there might be a day when, well, BBQ Happens. Sometimes its not that great. But :) One of the Core Values is Southern Hospitality . so returning your plate and requesting it more specifically how you would want it, would be all you have to do..

Went with three others, while their meals were top notch. I ordered just the Brisket. I was served a plate of 2/3s Gristle. No restaurant kitchen of this caliber should ever give a customer what is needed during smoking but not suitable for consumption.....if no other need, then use the trash can for this by-product. The other three in the party had the gumbo and the other two ribs & brisket that were expected to be served. What would be good is if they listed their side dishes in one place, instead of 3 different places in their menu, plus description. In one place. That way I dont end up ordering something I am not allowed to eat.. food was good otherwise, service slow but friendly, their French fries need work. Their words; Slow-smoked satisfaction. The result simply falls off the bone. NOT!!!! I could barely chew it off. That meat clung to the bone for dear life. This was the 3rd time its been like that. I sure miss my Chicago ribs. Ive had better food at truck stops. What a complete disappointment.

Im posting this review for reasons other than the food and service. The food and service are good, but I question management. As a customer it concerns me to know that an employee reports they dont feel good, requests to go home, and management refuses to relieve them from their work. This employee is approaching our table and handling our food and drinks. To make matters worse, this employee ended up testing positive for COVID. Shame on management for allowing this to happen. We, as customers, trust that your managerial experience allows for preventing situations such as these and lookout for the interest of not only the company but the employees and customers as well. I highly recommend Hofs Hut/Lucilles (management) get their act together or be prepared to face liabilities.

While we previously had an experience that was not the most enjoyable, Assistant GM, Mario, reached out to do all he could to resolve our issues. We gave Lucille s a second chance and we were treated really well by him, our server Sean, and the other manager, Johnny. Lucille s did a good job in listening to their customers concerns and went out of their way to ensure we had a good experience. Thank you, Mario and your team for your kindness and quick resolution. The food was very good and was a very good deal for the date night special they had. We will for sure be back again!

I love Lucille s and have always had great experiences at all the other locations I have visited. My husband and I came to this location (Torrance) and got our table rather quick. We sat for 40 plus minutes and no server ever came to our table to greet us or take our order. After we sat there for a while we finally got up to leave, so went up to the front to ask for the manager to explain what we experienced and she was just as useless. I will never return to this location.
