Food was good, you could sit inside or out. The service was good but we had just finished our food and we were finishing up our drinks when our waitress just leans across the table to start restocking items. She got one walked away then came back a minute or two later 5 times. Never said excuse me or anything. There were plenty of open tables. Just didnt feel like she was very polite. My and my friends opinion.

If you re looking for a greasy spoon in Torrance, this is the spot! This diner is perfect for so many reasons. The space was designed through the years with Torrance in mind; you can always tell if a place is good when the wait staff knows all of the patrons that frequent the restaurant, and there were many! Service staff was so friendly and highly efficient. I ordered the Chili Verde Omelette and it was out of this world! The portion was huge and I couldn t finish the whole thing, as much as I wanted to. The pork was succulent and the sauce was delicious the home fries were really good and even better with the house salsa. I m looking forward to the next time I m in Torrance for work, just so I can go back!

You have to go here and experience the incredible level of customer service from Jean (1) we ve not seen anything like it in YEARS. She pays attention to every little detail of what you re eating and drinking to be able to make sure you have enough ketchup, a drink refill, need an extra spoon to share dessert, etc and she s beyond FRIENDLY. She knows everyone and they LOVE her. Everyone was hugging her when they left. I had never been here and just stopped in for a cup of coffee. I ended up staying for lunch and ordered the meatloaf (awesome) and took a homemade flan to-go and when I left, I felt like I could take On the World!!! Lol!!! What an experience!!

A really delicious diner in old town Torrance. It s located on a tree lined street and has many outdoor tables so this is the sort of place that is an easy option to sit outside or in. Today I brought my dog so the outdoor seating really came in handy. We were able to find a parking space right out front and there were a ton of other free parking spots next to us as well. Our server was really polite and fast and we were serviced immediately after sitting down. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of diner classics, so it was hard to choose what I wanted this morning. Everything is very fair pricewise and the portions are also very hearty. I started off with a cup of coffee, per usual, and it was very tasty and strong. For my meal I chose the Marinated Steak and Eggs because I read a lot of positive reviews about it. I can confirm that it is indeed very good. The steak is very tender and seasoned well and comes in a very large sized portion. I was not a fan of the hashbrowns, as they are more of a potato cake , but aside from that everything else was really good. I would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a solid breakfast option in Torrance. I plan to be back in the future next time I am down in the area.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! VERY RUDE!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! WE ORDERED A COUNTRY FRIED STEAK AND EGGS AND A CHORIZO AND SCRABBLE EGGS BREAKFAST THROUGH GRUBHUB . UNFORTUNATELY, THE RESTAURANT GOT THE ORDER WRONG..WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES BUT INSTEAD OF ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY, THEY BLAMED THE DELIVERY DRIVER FOR PICKING UP THE WRONG ORDER. WHUCH WAS HIGHLY IMPROBABLE BECAUSE OUR OTHER ORDER WAS CORRECT. WE CALLED THE RESTAURANT TO EXPLAIN THE ISSUE AND FIND AN ACCEPTABLE RESOLUTION. THE GIRL WHIO ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND TOLD US IT WAS THE DELIVERY DRIVERS FAULT AND IT HAPPENS ALL THR TIME. AFTER WE ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, SHE ABRUPTLY HUNG UP ON US. ULTIMATELY, WE CONTACTED GRUBHUB, FILED A COMPLAINT AND WAS ISSUED A REFUND. I WORK IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE BASED PROFESSION AND KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO MAINTAIN A SENSE OF EMPATHY AND UNDERSTANDING WHEN DEALING WITH CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE THE ONE AT FAULT. DON T DENIY THE FACT, JUST OWN UP TO IT AND MAKE IT RIGHT. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN HERE. THEREFORE I REFUSE TO GIVE EAT AT RUDY s MY BUSINESS AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO DO THE SAME.

This place is a hidden gem! The server was a 50 year veteran of a waitress and took excellent care of all the tables. Im a big coffee drinker, and I couldnt get that cup down to half before shed come by to top it back off. Food Id also give a 10/10. Everything tasted fresh and was perfectly cooked. If Im ever in Torrance early AM Id certainly stop in. Our table ordered corned beef hash, an omelet and an eggs benedict, all were perfect. Their toast was also 10/10. There were so many options on the menu. I ended up getting Rudys special: Chroizo and eggs with a side of potatoes and choice of toast, biscuit, or tortilla. It was so much food for the price. It was really good and surprisingly not greasy for being chorizo. I definitely will go back again soon. Parking: The parking on the street in front was full but we parked on the next street and it was a less than 5 minute walk.

You seat yourself wherever you like. I think the biscuit was the most suprising there that I liked that came with it. I replaced the toast with that. Add that jam to help cut through the savory food. Breakfast here is better than I-Hop or Dennys for sure. They probably have the best coffee as far as commercial diner coffees go - the worse coffee is at Yellow Basket in the City of Carson. Their thick cut bacon is really good. Overall everything they serve taste good bc their ingredients are better. Franchise food locations are supplied by more processed foods so you can see and taste the difference here. Recommendations- The Rambo or Country breakfast but everything they have is really good. Just note its rare to walk up and get a table, youll have to wait 15-25 mins. This place is probably more of a 4.5 rating.
