The other day I was in Torrance for work I was hungry, so I yelped some local places and came across this place. Wow this place went viral for their cracking Boba cups. I got a few different ones. The banana shake the new pumpkin shake. They were delicious. This place is pretty cool. The service was great and everybody was so nice. I also got a teriyaki bowl and it Kim chi fried rice to go. Wow next time I am in Torrance. I would definitely come back. I recommend this place to anyone.

Good location with plenty of free self parking.

The restaurant is clean and organized. There's a touch screen ordering system when you walk in. There's also a cashier to place your order.

Staff is friendly.
There's a few indoor tables and a couple outdoor. There's also plenty of bar seating and tall stools.

Their menu has lots of options. Ordered the avocado smoothie and a tropical tea. Also ordered the popcorn chicken as a snack. All were great.

Prices are reasonable but a little on the pricey side.

La Cha x The Bowl has been ALL over my social media recently, so I had to come and check it out. They're known for their viral chocolate cracking cups!

I ordered the Blended Oreo Matcha and Banana Shake with the cracking chocolate. This was super fun and added such a great flavor to the drinks. It actually tastes as good as it looks.

I also got their popular Iced Banana Milk Coffee offers a sweet twist on a brew, and there was actual banana chips in the coffee! LOVED this. Also tried the Dragon Fruit Fantasy Slush which was soooo flavorful. Perfectly icy and not overly sweet.

On the food side, the Chicken Katsu with Avocado was a hit as well as the popcorn chicken. BUT OH MY GOODNESS. The Tteok-bokki with Cheese was so rich and gooey . . . who doesn’t like spicy rice cakes?! The cheese pull I had on this was insane!

La Cha is a modern, aesthetically pleasing boba place with other staple foods. I tried their Blended matcha with boba and even though it was really sweet (I forgot to order 50%/25% sugar), I really enjoyed their boba, which had a light brown sugar taste and a firm chewy texture (Which is really nice! Sometimes soft boba is overrated 😅). I understand now why they're rated so highly! La Cha is also in collaboration with The Bowl and they serve teriyaki bowls, chicken katsu, tteok-bokki and some more, which I will try with the choco cup matcha blended or jade ocean iced tea which both look delicious.

Came here to try out their boba after coming across an instagram ad. Ordered taro smoothie with bursting boba in chocolate covered cup, popcorn chicken, fried dumplings, and teriyaki. First on the list, Taro Smoothie, it was smooth and taste was great. Compared to other places I go for taro this by far, took place number 1, making "its boba time" second. The taro smoothie itself was great the strawberry bursting boba didn't have that flavor, hardly taste the syrup from boba like other locations. Will order next time just taro smoothie without the strawberry bursting boba. The chocolate cup itself isn't too sweet so it's just right with any drink you choose. Popcorn chicken was great as well taste and texture. Fried dumplings had great taste and crisp. Teriyaki bowl had a nice presentation in the bowl organized well. Other than that, the teryaki chicken the taste wasn't there even with teryaki sauce and it had tendon fat. The macaroni is great and salad as well, just not the teryaki. Finally, I wanted to mention that I'm not sure if it was just today since it was my first time trying to order online, but the website online option didn't allow me to make an order. Had numerous errors come up with different cards, I even tried using sisters' apple pay, but error popped up as well. The store itself is nice to eat there and stay a while. They do have public wifi so that's a plus. The only problem I had was teryaki bowl with tendon fat and error showing up while trying to make online order. Will come again in future for their taro smoothie it has a smooth delicious taste.

Strawberry Milk Tea was very delicious, but the regular Milk Tea tasted like coffee. Also got the milk popcorn chicken which was pretty good but kind of pricey. The parmesan cheese fries were horrible, stuck together and a big chunk of parmesan only on the top. I wouldn t go back for food but I would go back for the boba.

This is a cute boba shop with delicious food items as well! I didn t expect food would be good like a restaurant level at a boba shop. But La cha x the bowl exceed my expectations. Their new menu : kimchi fried rice and tuna poke salad are so yum. I especially like the kimchi fried rice! It s seasoned well and I just keep eating. Their drinks are good too, we have the oreo matcha milk tea, crackable choco cup matcha blend. The choco cup is on the sweater side so be sure to order it less sweet. Overall it s a cute boba shop with good food!

One of my absolute favorite locations to get boba and food! Delicious boba with many options (recommended the chocolate cup just because its fun to crack the chocolate). I love the teriyaki chicken bowls here as well--overall very solid. As for the study vibe, it can get loud inside but not too bad. There are a few outlets + wifi + a good amount of tables. Definitely not my first choice for study location but also not a bad choice.

This place is great! I just wish that it had a different kind of crack drink other than Choco as I dont like chocolate. The Strawberry matcha with the tornado matcha cup and Boba was amazing! Great mozzarella sticks and popcorn chicken. Would recommend and will go back! Parking: Plenty of parking in the nearby open and free lot Kid-friendliness: Its not very kid friendly in the sense that there isnt a lot of space or things to do, but it is fun to look at and be in the atmosphere.

I ordered a blended pistachio. The drink was FULL of chopped up shells. I could have chipped a tooth or cut my throat swallowing. I went right back in and the kid said, I can make it without the nuts? THAT IS YOUR SOLUTION! It didnt even occur to him that this was a problem....and not just for me. Never going back thanks.

I heard amazing things online about this establishment and decided to check it out! Unfortunately to my surprise, not only was the environment incredibly unfriendly but, the Oreo matcha milk tea I ordered had didn t come with the milk I asked for (soya). I m vegan. I wasted money on a drink I couldn t even drink. Highly disappointed with both the service and quality. Please do better.

To be honest I am very disappointed with this place it is way overhyped I expected better but no. The service is super slow and the workers are idiots please dont come here not worth it and they are super forgetful the second time i came to this place they forgot my boba in my drink just like the first time i came to this place. Did I also mention i saw a cockroach lurking inside the kitchen while I was ordering and there was a foul odor coming from the kitchen as well May look pretty inside but super gross. The food menu design is super tacky too . My matcha also tasted like grass. Super Disappointed. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS RUDE!! I believe it was one of the superiors that had a terrible attitude towards their own employees AND customers. Do better. #supergross #dontcomehere #wastedmytime

TLDR: Poor service, decent quality of drinks. Found this place through a TikTok that was served & was craving some boba. Walked up to a line out the door but was happy to wait. First time here and the menu was not very descriptive. No ingredients, mixers, etc were explained just names of drinks. When I would ask the cashier what was in a drink or their preference, they kept ignoring what I was asking and punching it in as if I was ordering. Frustrating because I could not figure out what I actually was ordering. Menu was outrageously large & felt like the staff could not keep up when making all of the various drinks and creations. Took 20+ minutes to get our three drinks. Way too long. Drinks were decent. Not sure good enough for me to go out of my way and go back.

Place is trying to do too much right now. No one greeted us or tried to help for like 15 mins while we were here, and we werent the only ones who thought that, multiple people lining up in a line just to be told that this isnt the line to order despite having a order kiosk. Lots of varieties to choose from. The vibes at the place is pretty lively and chill. The place is well staff and it was a breeze to order. They also have a self ordering machine. Overall a goodspot to order good snacks. Definitely coming back to try out the other flavors

This new spot is pretty awesome and convenient. My daughter came here once before and could not stop raving about how good their boba drinks are. So I Came here to bring both my daughters to share the experience. It s our new gem in the Southbay. We Will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends. I love there menu, the customer service and, they have large sizes for a cheap prices, will be coming again. Vegetarian options: I got a side of fries as well as macaroni which is vegetarian

Great boba spot!! Great selection of flavors and textures. I had their espresso matcha milk tea and it wasnt watered down, but more flavorful and roasty. The only issue I had is that 2 of the employees were doing tik tok dances behind the counter, quite distracting and unprofessional behavior while on the clock but oh well.

I tried this place last week with my sister Nathalia & it was bomb! House milk tea 10/10. The inside of place is really nice and clean! All staff super friendly come check it out.

So far love this new boba shop I found out, Im also happy its so close to my home. Ive tried the oreo matcha milk tea, mangorange iced tea, jade ocean iced tea and just the matcha blend. Ive loved all of them, very refreshing no complaints and will be my go to now for milk teas.
