You have to try the sweet corn cakes! It is the best and I couldn’t stop eating it! The chicken nachos is also wonderful and loaded with chicken! Wonderful restaurant with great price!

Have gotten food to go and delivered a few time and it's always great. I dined in for the first time and service and ambiance is also great.
I got the trio enchilada plate and was kind of hesitant to get the cheese, but it ended up being soo good. Chicken and beef were also great.
Also, prices are very reasonable.

MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT! Everything that I have had here has been spot-on delicious. From the fresh chips and salsa, to the tangy guacamole, to the creamy queso, to the main courses, I’m just in love. I had a favourite restaurant up in the bay area that I would look forward to flying up to eat at, and I’m so pleased Joselito’s is right here in SoCal. My favourites are the carnitas burritos, enchiladas, and pretty much any of their salads. SO FRESH! The best service ever, too. They have a parking lot, but you can find a bunch of spaces across the street or along the street. Never been an issue. Love this place!

Go for your birthday. So fun and you get s picture!!
Plenty of indoor seating. There's a back room if you are having a much larger group, event or party. Outdoor seating is festive and cozy. Food is great. Portions are ok. Service by Nathan was superb. It gets busy at lunch. Parking can be tricky.

I've been going to Joselito's for a long time, and it's finally time to write a review.

One thing for sure, they have excellent margaritas. Always consistent with taste and quality. The food over the years has been a little up and down, but for the last couple of years, the food has been very good.

Love the staff; always a smile and great service. Awesome patio, cool interior (Simi dark like I like my Mexican restaurants).

Parking is tight, but there's additional parking across the street.

Great place for Sunday brunch. They have seasonal specialty menus as well!

Great place for lunch or dinner. We didn’t have a wait when we went on a Saturday during lunch. We were sited right away. We ordered and food arrived super fast. The staff was very nice. We will be back for sure.

I had a great experience here -- forgot the time change and showed up thirty minutes before opening. Jose let me into the patio area to wait, and fifteen minutes before opening, set me up with coffee and excellent chips and salsa. I got the sweet corn cakes (which would have been enough on their own) and a hard shelled taco and also an excellent eggs dish. the outdoor patio was so comfortable and pleasing, reminding me of Mexico. Superb service. Its a great place to go, and its a good thing I got there early because it was packed by the time I left.

Hate to change my review from 6 yrs ago from 5 stars but this place just keeps getting worse. Its very sad because we dont have many options for food here. Service, ordering and taste. Hopefully it will start to get better instead of worse. Will add my review from 6 yrs ago. Mario is still awesome. Unfortunately he was not here the last few times we came. Also they no longer offer a military discount, just a heads up. That is not the reason for my rating though.

Ive never had a less than amazing time at Joselitos. Great food menu, great drink menu, great service and atmosphere. Love it here. I recommend the spicy watermelon cooler and the chile con queso, among everything else. Vegetarian options: Their rice is not vegetarian but their beans and ranchero sauce are. Just a heads up! Dietary restrictions: There are a lot of clearly labeled GF options and GF versions available.

Always great food and great fun! Parking: There are maybe 20 parking spots available. If you see street parking close to their establishment, you should take it before entering their parking lot. There are usually a few street parking spots available that are a short walk to the entrance.

While I did enjoy the mole nachos, I didnt enjoy the service. My server only approached me twice, once to get my order, and second to give me check. The busboys did way better than him. I was expecting this restaurants food to knock me off my feet. Disappointed, same food, different names, than other restaurants Wheelchair accessibility: I didnt see accessibility, not sure its offered.

Everyone there is great but Louis is the BEST!! We dont typically request specific servers at any other restaurant, but we just LOVE Louis so much. AND the food and drinks are always amazing. I recently tried a Pineapple Margarita (I think maybe it was a special) but sure but it was the best margarita Ive ever had. Everyone from the hosts to servers to backwaiters are always so friendly. Thank you for your consistency and the AMAZING service!! Parking: There is the lot at the restaurant and a lot right across the street, and street parking.

Joselitos is generally good. Food and Service usually on point. We have been coming here for years. But tonight we ordered a watermelon margarita and there wasnt any alcohol in it. Usually the drinks are pretty good! Since the drink was pretty much gone, we were not contesting the bill but just mentioned it. The server said I can assure you there was alcohol in that drink . So we just said ok. Another server came over and asked if everything was ok, we mentioned the drink and she got the Manager (we didnt ask for the Mgr.) who said I can assure you theres alcohol in that drink. So maybe thats just the standard response they give but a simple sorry would of been fine. I think it was just an error on the bartenders part which was not a big deal but the server and Manager were rude about it so that sucked. So if your drink tastes like a mocktail send it back!

I would not return, not even if they gave me the food, my child ordered Mexican pizza and it was actually a tortilla, with beans and tomato sauce, cheese and pepperoni, I ordered horchata water and it was very bad, I really do not recommend it at all The place is bad and for the prices I think they can improve a lot, hiring a good cook and above all Mexican so that he can know how to prepare his dishes, I also made a reservation and when we arrived it took about 20 minutes to give us the table

Best restaurant in Tujunga. Go on a nice day with your dog and sit in their little outdoor patio. Its the most pleasant Tuesday afternoon I can imagine. Firts time eating in a restaurant since the start of the pandemic. Still delightful on the patio, staff fully masked. 5/12/24 Still delightful. They had flowers for the mothers on mothersday.

Today I ordered the search ahi (tuna) salad. The tuna was superb. It is served on lettuce with avocado slices and accompanied by a really delicious honey mustard dressing. Highly recommend. Also, Nate is an excellent server. Previous review Today, I tried the poke appetizer. Though listed as quality sushi it is clearly not. That said, the appetizer was quite good. Pieces of raw tuna mixed with onions, tomatoes, and avicado made it all quite flavorful. It actually tasted like ceviche and accompanied by three fried pieces if flour tortilla. Parking: The parking lot is small. Street parking is available though you may have to park across the street.

Terrible. I asked for a window booth. I was asked to wait 5 mins. I waited 10 mins. & in the interim 3 families of 6 persons each came behind me but at least one party was seated ahead of me. I was seated in a dark middle booth & thought I could at least watch football since I did not get a window. Then they turned the TV off. OK. I ordered margarita & it was delightful. The fajitas had maybe 2 or 3 ozs. Of steak & 2 bell peppers cut up. 20.00 for mostly peppers. The server didnt tell me his name, didnt bring any utensils, didnt remember my complete order, did have a hipster attitude, calling me beautiful ( I am an old senior citizen). BTW both types of onions were not properly peeled. I had to ask a busser for a fork. The busser later came & asked if everything was ok, I said no & he just walked away. No one else asked if I needed anything. I still had a plate full of green peppers which I had no inclination to take in a to go box. Just be sure to ask how many bite size pieces of steak you get before you spend a lot of money. Ironically they gave me a steak knife, but the pieces were so small a infant could have chewed them. Finally, be aware that fajitas are not even served sizzling on cast iron. Simply transferred to the hot platter. I will not go back. I also heard staff apologizing at least 3 times to patrons for multiple reasons. Stick with Don cucos.

This is basically the best place to eat in Sunland. Their food gives you a much needed Mexican huge an empathy to a bad day. I really appreciate this place. The atmosphere takes you back to beautiful Mexico with their delicious plates and architecture.

This was our first time at this restaurant and it was very good. There was a wide variety of items on the menu, and it was difficult to choose because everything sounded so good. We decided on the enchiladas Suizas & quesadilla Lito with chicken, which were delicious. Our server was very friendly & attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Love the little patio. This visit, it took way too long to get our eating utinsels with the delicious corn cakes sitting on the table. My dining companion had to finally get up and round up some. Pozole was way too spicy but still tasty.

Always excellent! Probably because the owner is often there, making sure everything is top-notch! Everyone else in town knows how great Joselitos is, so expect to wait for a table, and the parking lot is always full. Park across the street, if needed. I always call ahead for a reservation and dont have to wait. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great Mexican restaurant regardless of where you are in LA. Try the deep fried ice cream. Its Great!!

This is our favorite restaurant in Tujunga. My husband and I love eating a delicious late lunch on the patio beneath the mulberry tree. Their menu is large and their friendly staff will customize dishes without complaint. My husband loves the fancy Enchilada Del Mar. As a vegetarian, I love a cheese Mole Enchilada! I get it with black beans and no rice (since it is cooked in chicken broth). I also love the bean and cheese burrito with black beans. I usually ask for a little avocado and sour cream added. Dogs are allowed, which we also appreciate. They also have a nice sized banquet room for parties or meetings.

Outdoor seating very popular but tables are set close. We had a family next to us that had trouble controlling their dog. Saturday, the servers were having trouble keeping up but kept their cool. The vegan tacos and spinach dish (I forget what it was called) made up for the slight inconvenience. Vegetarian options: Spinach would go well with mushrooms added. Parking: Adjacent to restaurant, street level, easy entry and exit.

This place is a neighborhood gem. They have nicely decorated interior, and a very nice outdoor seating area as well. The margarita options are amazing. I had fresh blood orange margarita. It was amazing. One of the best Ive had. The blood orange flavor is rich and the bitter flavor goes great with the sweet and sour of the margarita. My girlfriend got the passionfruit margarita and it was very good too. It was very tropical and perfectly tart with a slight sweetness. We came for the taco Tuesday promotion this time. Its a great value. You will be stuffed! They have some of the best tacos dorados (hard shell taco) in the LA area. The chicken are good but the beef is the star of the show. Been there a few times because it s close by and it has such good reviews and I wanted to give it a chance. All I can say is it s white washed Mexican food. The many food trucks or taco stands you find along Foothill/Sunland Blvd are way better. The parking lot is tiny.

Got seated right away, wasnt busy and there was plenty of staff. They brought me water and chips and I waited over 20 mins and nobody ever came to take a drink order or anything. They noticed me but just ignored me for some reason. I saw some folks come in after me and get served right away. Still, nobody came to take my order so I left and wont be back. Parking: Tiny lot. Less than 20 cars

Far better than the average Mexican food. The red sauce on the enchiladas had this smokey pepper flavor that shines through. Service and atmosphere are very good, nice, and festive.

Sorry to say that the food, service and atmosphere was just ok. This all varies depending on the day and time we go to this location. I had a one item chili relleno combination plate that was just fair. The sauce was very bland and the food lukewarm. My husbands beef tamale combination was better. You can try it but go earlier in the evening.
