Whether catering your next event, taking Stonefire to go or dining in, we are happy to serve in a welcoming, friendly environment where we invite you to come as you are.
Stonefire Grill serves the greater Southern California community with locations in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Ventura, and Orange counties.
My wife and I stopped by here today for lunch because she wanted her BBQ chicken salad. I never been to this Stonefire Grill location before but since I went to a place across the street and this is what my wife wanted, we came here. We came about 15 minutes after they open so it didn't look like they had a lot of customers. When we walked in, they kind of looked emptied so we just put in our order. My wife got her BBQ chicken salad and also a tortilla soup. Once we found seating at a booth, we saw there was more seating in the back and that's where most of the guest was. It didn't take long for our food to come out and my wife loved her dish.

With all the good restaurant choices in the area, don't waste your time or money here!
After browsing literally 100 restaurants in the area I was so excited to eat here, only to be so disappointed I was upset.
It started off with their service model, you order first at the counter and then the food gets delivered to your table. Well what's wrong with that you might ask, well what happens if you have questions about the food before the order? What happens when you have a problem with your food after it's delivered. There isn't a server serving you to help you.
I ordered the tri-tip as it sounded yummy and paid the upgrade to get a salad as well as the Mac and cheese. They didn't have blue cheese dressing which was disappointing but had a lot of other weird homemade dressings. I got the cilantro lime and it was terrible.
I typically finish my salad 🥗 but here it was disgusting and I didn't like the alternative dressings they had, so I just didn't eat it.
Food was served quickly, I got the Mac and cheese and tri-tip just a few minutes after the salad. Unfortunately the tri-tip was near Cold, it was not even lukewarm. That was super disappointing to me because tri-tip any type of meat should be served hot. People in the restaurant industry understand the temperature of meat serving simply because of the fat content inside it and how it makes it better when it served at the correct temperature. After just one bite I immediately went back to the counter and told the guy that it was cold that the butter on it wouldn't even melt. He informed me that the butter was not supposed to melt, that's interesting. Imagine a butter that's not supposed to melt when it's on a hot steak doesn't make much sense does it? I didn't want to argue with the counter boy because well it was the counter boy. He sent my tri-tip back to the kitchen to be heated up and brought it back out to the table a few minutes later. It was not much warmer the second time around then it was the first time around so I asked for a manager. The manager informed me the same thing that if they wanted to get it hot then it would be overcooked and that the butter was never supposed to melt. I was so frustrated with management that they didn't understand that meat is supposed to be served hot it doesn't really matter what doneness of the steak is, it should be hot.
While awaiting getting hot food, I decided to try the mac and cheese. Was not much better than just a Kraft mac and cheese that you make at your house. It had a little bit more cheese but it tasted terrible absolutely terrible.
So now I've got a salad that I can't eat because of the dressing and they didn't have the dressing I wanted, mac and cheese that was terrible tasting, and lukewarm tri-tip.
I left shortly after that so disappointed because even the management didn't understand that the meat was supposed to be hot. There was no reasoning with anybody there, there was no offer of any discount or any condolences or even a free dessert or anything. The management just didn't understand how to be a manager of a restaurant in my opinion.
So until management changes and this restaurant understands that meat should be served hot I would not recommend to anybody eat at this restaurant with all of the other amazing dining options in the immediate vicinity. There are plenty of places around the deserve your hard-earned money 🤑.

I was eager to try StoneFire Grill, but unfortunately, the dining experience left me somewhat disappointed. It seems the restaurant opts for a quantity over quality approach, reminiscent of wholesale food, which detracts from what could be a delightful meal.
The Alfredo sauce on the pasta was notably off-mark, lacking the creamy richness one expects from a genuine Alfredo. Additionally, the pasta itself did not align with authentic Italian recipes and was poorly executed. The meat served was dry and seemed to rely heavily on sauces to mask its lackluster quality.
On a positive note, the grilled vegetables and pizza were satisfactory, and the Caesar salad was quite good, capturing the classic flavors well. However, the cauliflower was very disappointing with a plasticky taste, and the burger suffered from being overly dry. The salad components felt old, particularly the tomatoes, which were wrinkled and stale-tasting.
To enhance the dining experience, I would recommend focusing on the freshness and quality of ingredients, particularly in the salads and main dishes. Paying closer attention to authentic recipes and preparation methods could also improve the overall authenticity and taste of the meals. By prioritizing quality in both ingredients and preparation, StoneFire Grill could greatly elevate its dining experience. Thank you for considering this feedback.

I ordered the tri tip and rib with mash potatoes and breadstick, and i was not impressed. The value for the food was good but now I know why. The meat is not top quality for sure. The tri tip had some tough pieces and really had no flavor. The ribs tasted better but definitely not fall off the bone. The mash potatoes were good and delicious. The bread sticks just tasted a bit doughy. The murphy-Goode wine was amazing. Felt kind of like an all you can eat restaurant when coming in and ordering at the front and seating yourself. Good atmosphere, clean with good service. This place does need to step up their flavor game along with meat that will melt in your mouth.

Poor quality food. The meat was not tender whatsoever, I came here because the tri top appeared delicious on the review photos, but ended up disappointed.
Service was okay.
If the cheesecake factory and golden corral had an offspring, it would be this place.

Such a good restaurant to go to for a date. The variety of portion sizes are so awesome especially when you both want to order the same food at this restaurant. The pesto pasta is now my favorite dish to eat here. The mashed potatoes are chunky but very well mixed with the cheese and garlic. The garlic bread along with our meals were delicious. They also have very tasty pizza here. I recommend the sausage pizza in my opinion. Everything tastes absolutely delicious. The employees there are very courteous and very fast on getting you your food. You will not be disappointed here. I very much enjoyed my dinner here. Will definitely be eating here again :)

Thought it was a full serv restaurant . But it s fine, nicer than fast food. Chx sandwich was pretty good. Each time I ve been here it s like Chuck E. Cheese. Why does Stonefire allow children running around like ferrets on crack??? The crowd it seems to draw is well.. less than expected. I guess they tired of McDonald s. Sorry, that was the kindest way I could think to describe it. I could swear I saw honey Boo-boo, but she should be an adult by now.?.?

This is now the second time I ve order pasta and it s barely warm. I went on a sunday when it was busy so I thought maybe the cooks couldn t catch up with orders. I came here during the week when it wasn t busy at all and yet again I am given a cold pasta. It s frustrating and I hope management advises their cooks to give more attention to food quality prior to sending it out to customers. Also, the breadsticks have been SO dry lately.

First and last time at this place. Ordered our food and paid 57$ plus a tip. My food came out first, grilled chicken, Mac and cheese, breadsticks, it s all cold. Asked for a refund and realized they only refunded our order and not the tip. The refund was hassle free but the food was disappointing. Ended up leaving with a crying child and had to go somewhere else.

Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian section on the menu ... Dietary restrictions: None... Parking: There is plenty of parking here and along cinema drive there are plenty of parking lots with parking spaces ... Kid-friendliness: Sort of I guess.... Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there is two access points for wheelchairs so that is good...

i ll always love stonefire. i may be biased, because i worked here in high school back in the day lol, but even now the food is still just as DELICIOUS. every time i m up in scv i like to get myself + the husband our fave bbq chopped salads, and if i m super hungry i ll get the lemon garlic chicken breast meal. i love that they always take my crazy modifications seriously-i m verrry particular about the way i like my breadsticks and 99% of the time they oblige also the ranch and the bbq sauce are to die for! we always get extra extra extra!! i fondly recall my sidework from back in the day of having to fill up the bbq sauce bottles lol! i will always and forever recommend the salads-specifically the bbq chopped, and the cobb. the tri tip and the chicken breast (lemon garlic & skinless) are out of this world!! and don t skimp on dessert-do yourselves a favor and get the carrot cake! my tiniest little gripe about stonefire nowadays though is the drink selection. i m not super fond of it. but besides that, stonefire is a staple of scv and i will always return! Parking: stonefire technically shares a parking lot with a few other places but they have the largest portion-it s on the west side of the building

This was my first time at Stonefire Grill, and it was great! Their salads are pizza are AMAZING, 10/10 would recommend. Cant recommend their pasta, though. The system is a little more self-serve than I expected, but staff were always on hand to answer questions, and our food came quickly. Its great if you dont really like talking with people. ;) You walk in, order and pay on the screen, then seat yourself while you wait for your food. HIGHLY suggest you try the salads!!

Their iced tea was so disgusting and had such a bad after taste is caused my family to vomit it up. For the price I had to pay for the meal I had to get my own cheap silverware and napkins, while the cups are plastic. Food all on different plates and nothing brought nice and hot together. Really?! Paper to go boxes!!! Never want to go again.

The tri tip was ok as well as the bread. I know why they sell dipping sauces. The vegetables were perhaps the best part of the meal. I did like the selection of drinks across the 2 soda fountains. The service was great with a ton of employees ready to clear tables and ask how everything was. Overall, not bad for the price, but I would choose differently next time.

My wife had been to a party where the catering was from Stonefire so we thought we d order dinner for the family. The online ordering was smooth and the pickup process too. Everyone there seemed great. The food was top tier mediocre. Flavors were really bland on the bbq chicken and lemon garlic chicken. The ribs were kinda dry and the smoke flavor was not the good kind. It was the kind of smoke that is bitter and comes from things burning, not smoking. All of this would have been fine if I was paying IHOP prices, but this meal cost well over $100. Breadsticks and mashed potatoes redeemed the meal, but I don t sides and apps should be the MVP of a restaurant s menu.

My family and I have always came to Stonefire grill without any issues until this past Thursday 12/21/23. We decided to eat here before doing some holiday shopping and the food was not as good as it usually was, even the Mac and cheese was room temperature. I would say an hour or so after our stomachs started to hurt and I had an emergency while shopping that was embarrassing. The past 2 days we ve had vomiting and diarrhea that now we believe we got food poisoning from eating here. Whoever is handling the food needs to do a better job at cleanliness. I wanted to make this situation aware because I have even let the restaurant know and I have not heard anything back from them.

Food is wonderful, its always crowded. The meat flavors are delicious and the breadsticks are the best ever. The BBQ sauce is a favorite. Im not too big on salads, but their BBQ chopped salad is probably the best salad around. Get the salad dressing on the side, so you can take it home and have leftovers. They are pretty expensive, the family deals are better pricing. They have downsized their portions a lot and increased the price over the past few years. The outside eating area is best and is nonsmoking.

First, we are from out of town so maybe everyone here knows this is a counter serve setup but we were expecting to be seated and served. That being said here are the rest of our comments: - service: mid. Lots of young kids working the counter and as a first time customer we were hurried to order and seemed to expect to know about the food and how it comes. Not impressed. - food delivery: all items were delivered by different people at different times. We were able to request additional things like butter and it came quickly. We ordered a dessert that was never delivered then had to track someone down to get it. - food quality: excellent overall. The half garlic chicken was super flavorful, juicy and tender. The French dip was good and the pastas were good if lacking a little flavor. The breadsticks were lacking. The cheesecake had thick crust and the shareable portion was more than enough for 3. Overall the food was what we wanted while the service/setting left a little to be desired.

Food and service is always good. Dining room is too loud so we mostly get take-out.

Food quality has cheapened. Salad had less meat than years gone by. Disappointing.

I went to get a chicken dinner to share with my dog. It was his birthday; hes 15. Forgot, they dont have fries! Garlic mashed is not his style, nor mine. I got a Caesar salad. He doesnt like salad. I have eaten here several times. Sometimes its good; sometimes not. Tonight was not. Tons of garlic on chicken and it was not cooked; pretty raw. It just wasnt what I wanted to treat my dog or myself to tonight. Not a bit celebratory.

Dine in on last Sunday with our doggy. There are outdoor seats so can regard as dog-friendly. Its already feeling cold at night in September so I had to request bussers to turn on the heater. It took a while but we were helped by a tall and young manager at last. (His name is Phil or Gil i cant recall now) I want to leave this review so i can give him a shout out here. The food was fair in this price. We ordered cheese pizza, pesto pasta, garden salad and carrot cake. The carrot cake was so boom! I really enjoyed this creamy style and level of sweetness. Other food lack flavor but its good in a way that they were not salty so can add my own portion of salt n pepper. Wheelchair accessibility: pet-friendly

I love the food and overall the people and staff. However, in my recent visit with my family, we witnessed the managerial staff mistreating the employees there. Specifically, the older staff busing the tables. Completely the wrong way any employee should be treated by their supervisor.

Person on the phone was great. When I got there and used the code for take out to my car I waited almost an hour and eventually had to go inside and grab my order. Meat was a bit over cooked but pasta and salad were great!
