Came here last year and for all the time I was in Italy I have been thinking about their Pretzel Bun Burger..finally came back to Santa Clarita and had it again..it’s just the best.
As a starter I recommend their Bavarian Pretzel, it comes with 3 dips and I really love the Mornay Cheese and the Honey Mustard.

I am bringing my review done a couple of stars. The place has changed. Food and service have not been the best on my past few experiences. My most recent added the most value to my review change. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. The place was open, and not packed. Just the right amount of crowd for the afternoon. I was seated promptly. My server was dressed like a bar back. Unprofessional and tasteless. I assume there is no dress code. The server took my drink order. I requested another set of silverware and napkin. I explained I was expecting someone in the next five min. My guest arrived, we ordered appetizers, about 30 min passed before the silverware and napkins were delivered. We ordered our food. The bussers never picked up the plates or empty glass on our finished product. Table was really crowed and hard for us to enjoy our meal. My food wasn't the greatest. My sliders were cold. The best thing were my fries. I don't see myself going back.

Our server, Katie, was a delight! She was friendly, attentive, and offered fantastic recommendations.

As for the food? It was fantastic! We enjoyed the bacon-wrapped asparagus, local sliders, and Basil pesto chicken pasta—everything was light and flavorful.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this spot! 5 out of 5 stars!

This seems to be a popular place, we visited on a Sunday around 2pm and it was pretty full. Thankfully there was not a wait, and we were seated.

I started with a Hazy IPA, that was delicious. For an appetizer, we ordered the pretzel. The sauces were all good, especially the honey mustard. The pretzel itself was also very good.

My husband and I both ordered the classic burger. I had ordered a well done burger, but I was more like a medium cook. I got the fries and my husband upgraded to the garlic Parmesan tater tots, both were not great. Particulary the tots were not as crispy as we would have liked. The burger was okay, I thought it tasted like it was missing sauce or something else in the flavoring of the patty.

Overall, seems like a great sports bar for beer and appetizers, but maybe skip on the burger.

My wife, son, and I wandered into The Local one night for dinner. It's a modern feeling gastropub type place which was packed with people both inside and out. So the atmosphere was fun though we did have to wait a while for an available table.

The service was great and friendly.

There are a decent amount of things fro vegetarians to try including a number of starters such as a bavarian pretzel, hummus, buffalo cauliflower and brusels sprouts (if you order it without bacon). You can also sub a Beyond Burger patty on any of the indulgent looking burgers so you won't go hungry. (Oddly they have an extensive salad menu almost all of which has meat in it. I'm sure you could order with out. :/

I had the "Giddy- up BBQ Burger" made with a Beyond patty and served with tots (you can get fries if yu want or sub a side salad for $2). It looked fantastic, though the Beyond Patty was a little over done, and the tots were over done too.

My wife had salmon which was also slightly overcooked.

Our kid had basil pesto pasta, without the chicken that it normally comes with. He thought it was okay...it was definitely a generous sized portion, but was a little richer than he liked it.

So overall it was a fun atmosphere with super-nice serving staff, but none of us really loved what we ate.

When I was in CA, I came to this place several times in the same week I was there. I enjoyed the food, people and atmosphere. This was the best food other than a BBQ place I had in the area while I was in CA. I would come here again and I will recommend this place to people I know in the area.

AMAZING We re visiting from Arizona while our kiddos enjoy Six Flags. We ve been all over Orange County and the Newport Coast for the past week and this is BY FAR the best food we ve had. The parm garlic tots are amazing. My husband had the Crispy Coupe with grilled chicken and I had the BBQ burger and they were both fantastic. Our server, Nancy, was attentive without being overwhelming. Very kind and friendly. Felix, the manager, was touching up paint on the patio when we walked in and hasn t stopped caring for the restaurant since. He stopped and talked to us for a good 10 minutes about the restaurant and the food. If I was from SCV I d be here weekly if not daily as a Local. If you re here visiting Six Flags stop in. It ll be worth it for sure!

In town for work staying in Valencia and stumbled upon The Local. LOVE THIS PLACE. The menu has a huge variety and the food is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is a mix of sports pub, upscale bar, and local spot. The service is top notch. The Tri-tip sandwich is PHENOMENAL.

Every time we go its always money well spent. However theres this one server that pulled a fast one on us and she didnt deserve the 18% tip she gave herself bcuz we were a party of 6. We met our friends there even though it wasnt their birthday we had said we were celebrating them. Our server was hardly around. We kept ordering from other people. She messed up on 3 orders. Only 6 of us. We kept having to ask other staff for water or other small things. Then when it came for the bill my buddy and my wife dropped their credit cards. My wife didnt realize that the lady only charged our card and not split it. My buddy told the server and she said to him...its tour bday you dont have to pay. $650 later. I was pissed at that server. I havent gone since but when I do Im going to tell her and the manager that wasnt fair. My wife didnt want to make a big deal out of it bcuz she would have felt embarrassed to ask our friends for their half. Again we met to have dinner. We didnt meet to celebrate their birthdays bcuz it was 2 months prior. My buddies didnt know thats why we paid for the entire bill. Not cool of the server. I will go again so I can post her name so you can make sure to not have her as a server. Everyone else there is awesome! They really are. She isnt a good server. Hardly around, never got us what we needed and didnt deserve that 18% tip.

Fancy restaurant with a full house and excited crowded atmosphere. The shrimp pasta was delightful. The other menu items are so good also. I cannot wait to try the Charity Burger and it s for a good cause too. People show down with their exotic cars and run of the mill factory made cars as well. The motorcycles roar from this location to the amazement of onlookers and passer-byes.

We went to the restaurant this weekend and the food and service were excellent. Our waiter Ian was outstanding in every way, and the jalapeño margarita was so good I sought out the bartender who made it to ask for the ingredients, nicely done Lauren. Everything was so good we asked who the manager was so we could let them know - his name is Francisco - it s apparent he s doing a great job too. Very impressed by the whole experience, will definitely be returning, nicely done!

Food was amazing, our server was not visible for the majority of the time and when she came, she was so fast to ask if we needed anything but didn t give us time to respond or ask for anything. She brought our check, without us asking for it. We closed out and kept going to the bar to order drinks. We were there over 2 hrs after she closed us out. I acted as the the server for my party, going to the bar numerous times while bumping into the waitress a few times. She still had tables in our vicinity but didn t engage with us after closing us out. Bartenders were awesome! This place truly deserves a 5 star but not with this waitress.

We come to Valencia once a year and we always eat here, sometimes twice. Prices are good and the portions are great. Food is excellent! They have the most amazing Cobb salad. Service has always been great. Even when busy the kitchen is fast. Our server Alvaro was fast and super polite.

What wonderful time we had with our family. The only con to this trip was the amount of distractions that surrounded us. If you are OK with a boat load of tvs fighting for your attention, then you are at the spot. The food was awesome. The service was awesome. Overall, we had a great time. Had to fight for my kids attention because they were swamped watching TV. Inside the Pub was loud. But outside was better, except the cold a slight factor. However, the heaters helped. the only thing was that for other guests, the heaters were too hot, so we had to go back and forth a bit. I will come back because the food was on point and the service made our time special. Food comes out quick and tasty!

The local pub and grill... exactly what you can expect from the name. This is a very popular place for locals and there is a good chance you will run into someone familiar here! The food is decent for a pub... quick service and a lot of options. The atmosphere is festive and loud... great place to watch a sporting event / game and grab a drink and some pub food. A little bit of a mixed bag on this one definitely a nice location, but I will soon disappointed. After we sat down, waitress brought us little appetizer plates that were still greasy like somebody washed them with no soap. Then I open my fork and it had old, dry, crusty food on it, so it was dirty too. We got the sliders for an appetizer and seems like they were put on a cold plate because the bottom of them were ice cold they were OK not the best slider I ever had. My girlfriend got the brussel sprouts. She said they were really good and I got some mini corndogs that were also , what I consider not up to par. When I went to reach for some mustard, the mustard container was dirty. It s like who cleans around here, dirty plates, dirty fork, dirty mustard come on now.

We stopped here while driving home from Bakersfield during the Super Bowl We hoped we could watch some of the game. Really enjoyed coming here on a Friday night with a few friends for dinner and drinks The wait for a table (without a reservation) was less than 10 minutes We were seated inside and quickly attended to by a waitress who was pleasant, helpful, and patient with our group The drinks arrived very shortly and the food was quick to follow I had the carnitas tacos which needed a little more seasoning for my taste but overall everything was very good The cocktail I had was called The Fairytale and definitely gave me a happy ending to the night I would come back and try other drinks that looked good Prices were reasonable and service was good No complaints or problems here

Just wanted to squeeze this in . I just read some other reviews. I wish I would of read them before I went. Because if I did I would never of gone. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT!!!! After 2 hours of eating and drinking was ask to leave. A reserved plaque was placed on our table. When ask, we told they need our table for karaoke. Asked if we could stay and explained that we would like to order more food and drinks. We were told that we have already been there for 2 hours. REALLY? WOW!! VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!!! I really hate to think this was a racist thing but, I am very confident it was. Do yourself a favor. Don t eat or drink at this establishment. I will never go back there nor will my family and friends. In response to your comments. I HAVE THE RIGHT PLACE!!! PEOPLE DON T GO HERE!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! To be fair, we only went to The Local after experiencing a power outage at a fancy restaurant, which was not able to serve us. (We were celebrating 2 birthdays.) The Local had one table left, and it was way crowded, inside and out, not to mention waay loud!!

Great service, fun place, I didn t really enjoy some of the food. I had fish and chips which were not very crispy or flavorful. The spinach artichoke dip was really good, especially if you like garlic, very tasty. Drinks were good also. I would go there again for drinks and appetizers but would probably avoid a full dinner.

Driving down south to Los Angeles and stopped by. Great service, atmosphere, and food. It was very unassuming from the outside, but it shows very well that this business must bring in many customers, over and over again. I had the SALMON TERIYAKI and a Heineken, thoroughly enjoyed the service from Michelle, my server, and hung out for an hour before I ordered a COBB SALAD to-go, then went out and enjoyed the shopping center. Tons of parking, great variety of customers, and a fantastic menu. Something for everyone, as well as the pups and childrens!

I have been there three times during happy hour and have enjoyed it every time. I love the deals and atmosphere. The servers are kind and attentive. Kid-friendliness: My son has autism and they were very understanding of placement in the restaurant.

Saturday 7/15/23 I ordered the chicken nachos and they were nothing like the picture. They were dry. As the manager walked by I stopped him and showed him. He said they were fine. Asked about them not having guacamole on them. He asked if I ordered them with guacamole. I said dont they come with it? He said no. When waiter Matthew brought the check we showed him and told him they were dry. He told us to tell the manager. We told him we did. He agreed they were lacking but did nothing. We will not go back anytime soon.

Came for happy hour and now it ends at 5 PM!! Really a bummer because that s when people are either getting off or on their way home. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. Two mixed drinks and a shot were $40. There is gratuity included for large parties FYI. Service was pretty fast and nice and they have good outdoor seating, but if you re looking for happy hour this isn t the place.

The SeeryHalls got a table for 4 outside on a nice evening. We particularly enjoyed the fried pickles as a group with a vegan and vegetarian. The buffalo cauliflower with ranch and blue cheese on the side was good. They have Beyond burgers for vegetarian and vegans. Their cocktails and beer selection is excellent. Bucket Truck was a favorite beer for our table. I loved my Watermelon Smash for their charity beer. Their martinis are a complete surprise but highly recommended over their margarita. We would come back again and try some more things on their extensive menu.

Great food. Came out insanely fast! Apps were great. Sliders were great. Fried pickles were subpar. We had Slaters 50/50 the night before and they clearly have the superior pickle chips.

This seems to be a popular place, we visited on a Sunday around 2pm and it was pretty full. Thankfully there was not a wait, and we were seated. I started with a Hazy IPA, that was delicious. For an appetizer, we ordered the pretzel. The sauces were all good, especially the honey mustard. The pretzel itself was also very good. My husband and I both ordered the classic burger. I had ordered a well done burger, but I was more like a medium cook. I got the fries and my husband upgraded to the garlic Parmesan tater tots, both were not great. Particulary the tots were not as crispy as we would have liked. The burger was okay, I thought it tasted like it was missing sauce or something else in the flavoring of the patty. Overall, seems like a great sports bar for beer and appetizers, but maybe skip on the burger.
