Our SCV Corner Bakery Cafe location is a sleeper hit for us vegetarians looking for an easy place to get breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We came as part of a day where they were donating a portion of sales to an organization we're involved with, so thanks Corner Bakery Valencia for supporting the local community! We were happy to be given the incentive to give you a try.

I had the Berry Pecan Salad with a side of Tuscan Toast...it was really great...fresh testing with lots of good flavors in it that made it a good treat for dinner, and filling.

My wife enjoyed her Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich...also a good portion size and came with a salad too.

There are other options for vegetarians too including a Tuscan Grilled Cheese, a pasta, and a couple of soups that are vegetarian. (Plus plenty to choose from on their breakfast menu if you're there that time of day.)

Corner Bakery is reasonably priced, serves good food with good options to choose from for vegetarians, and is a great, casual, order-at-the-counter place to get a good meal.

Very friendly environment, and clean. The staff here is always friendly. The food is always good. A fan of their huge variety of food. The prices are what you expect from a restaurant like this. There’s plenty of parking, and you feel welcomed coming into the restaurant. This location is one of my favorites.

Stop selling food that you know has gone bad. Then to top it off making people drive all over town just to get a refund without so much as an apology! We've been here many times and we always enjoy it. This time not so much. First of all, we got there at 7:50 assuming they close at 9 or 10 on a Saturday night like most restaurants. Apparently they close at 8 and we were not informed that eating there would be a problem. We ordered our food. When asked, to stay or go, we replied, "stay". When our food buzzer went off, there was only one thing on the counter and it was a to go bag.

My husband said we wanted it to stay and the response was, we're closing in 10 minutes, you have to take it to go. They finally said you can eat here.

It was frustrating, as some food is just not good to go and we would have preferred being informed of their intention.

I got the pasta carbonara. It stated chicken, bacon, peas, and carbonara sauce. There was hardly any sauce, noodles were almost dry. Maybe 1 pea for every couple of bites, if that and the bacon... What bacon? So disappointed!! My husband got a chicken pomadori sandwich. Normally a great sandwich. He took a bite, no chicken, no tomato, a little bit of cheese, smashed wafer thin bread. I should've taken a pic of that. His salad had a to go plastic lid in it. Maybe they were just ready to go home, maybe our vibes were off, but either way, a lot lacking on this visit.

I gave 3 starts instead of 1 because we spoke with the new manager (her first day) and she really tried to make it right. They re-did the sandwich and the pasta and she even offered a dessert. I've worked at many restaurants in my past and that was handled Perfectly! Kudos to her!!

We took the food home and unfortunately, the pasta was just as bad! Basically just dry linguini noodles and little more. The sandwich was a little better but still lacked much between the bread. We will go there again because we have had great food before and we hope for a better experience.

Food was fresh. The wait was a little long for lunch time. I ordered a pick 2 with a sandwich and salad. I had to cut the fat off the ham..not sure why they think its ok to leave this amount of fat on meat in a cold sandwich. If I go back I will order different meat not ham.

Tasteless breakfast wrap. No salt whatsoever on anything. And Breakfast wrap was just Microwaved inside extremely hot and outside soggy and cold. Breakfast potatoes also absolutely tasteless and no crunch. Seems like it was microwaved as well. Food

Sad to do this, but eggs were watery, which explains why my toast was saggy on one corner. Floor was dirty. Some tables were left dirty during the time we were there, even though it was a slow morning. I hope this is an isolated incident for lack of a better description.

I don t usually make reviews but this might help the company owner idk. The customer service was off but I can handle it. When I sat down to eat with my children the booths sank in. And it was dirty there was soap residue all over the table and it smelled like old water or something you use in the bathroom. I got a wet napkin and wiped it down and you could see it getting soapy. Idk about anyone else but I don t like smelling weird smells while I eat. When i asked for a to go box this kid gave me two boxes with gunk and food on it. Just unsanitary. And disappointed I wish I had spent my money elsewhere.

I typically go to the Valencia location. Most of the time, services is ok. However, today, it was rather unwelcoming. The cashier was packing pastries and taking orders. She may have not been enjoying her tasks because she was so rude when she asked if we were ready to order twice. I normally dont like to give negative reviews but she deserves to be reminded what it entails to welcome costumers.

They have been a staple caterer for my company, and the food was good, so I assumed it would be quite expensive, so I steered toward cheaper options as daily lunch destinations. However, after going in one day, I was surprised to find it was very reasonably priced, and the portion was large enough to save for the next days lunch, which made Corner Bakery even more economical than a standard fast food option, and three times more healthy and delicious! Corner Bakery is now in my standard rotation.

Besides a few strange looking people inside the restaurant and me having to get over the fear of someone being there tampering with our food, that was actually good enough for me to inhale it was a decent experience for the most part.... There is a very pleasant atmosphere here, it is a place that is always clean and impeccable. The staff in charge of serving you is very friendly, this cafeteria is undoubtedly one of the few where they really know how to treat their clientele. Corner Bakery Cafe specializes in pastries, bread, cookies, gourmet sandwiches, home-style soups, salads and pastas. Although it looks like a fast food restaurant like any other, the food offered here is of better quality since the concept that The way things are handled here is very different from what you will find in most conventional fast food chains. In terms of costs, you could say that it is a little higher than any fast food restaurant but it is really worth visiting this place, especially if you are one of those who are looking for different things.

I was hosting a customer at our Headquarter location in Valencia. My company uses Corner Bakery Valencia, frequently. I pre-ordered a small classic sandwich basket, for delivery between 12:15 pm and 12:30 pm. The driver contacted me at 12:15 pm to inform me she would be 5 mins late. I asked her what time I could expect her, and she informed me 12:40 pm. That would be over 10 mins LATE. Unfortunately, my customer was unable to wait 30 mins for the food to arrive, and left. Completely unacceptable, and embarrassing, that my customer was not fed. The food did not arrive until 12:45 pm! I have since sent the store an email, and have yet to receive anything back.

Really disappointed. Hadnt been in a while. Used to really enjoy it. Three of us ate. I thought the 3/4 filled (cardboard) cup of soup was a joke. It was supposed to be a bowl of soup. The lady that got it said it tasted good though. My sandwich was sitting on the plate looking sad with a kids size bag of chips on the side. The 3rd lady had a salad and it did look good it was large and she liked the taste.

I dont know what happened to the chicken orzo soup today but it was awful! It was mostly oil with very little flavor. This was part of a take out order and when we got it home to eat, it was so bad we had to throw it out. Very disappointed. It use to be so good and was one of our favorite soups at Corner Bakery. Been going here weekly when i have to drive down to Valencia. Food always hits the spot. This place feels like something between Panera bread and a mom / pop cafe bakery. The coffee (truffle mocha) is f*** amazing and rich & not too sweet. Obviously, compared to the Starbucks next door please choose this place you will get more quality, love, and flavor with your purchase. The menu is extensive and there hasnt been one thing i had not liked. Nothing is too offensive or bold in flavor, you get exactly what you order plus portion size feels just right where i can sit down and eat my lunch without feeling like i need to finish any left overs later. Kid-friendliness: The place is spacious & not too formal. The menu is so diverse that your little one is bound to find one of their favorites.

It was so nice to find this space open early as we prepared to travel this morning. The breakfast options made it easy to offer my father a good anti inflammatory vegetarian option to start the day. The staff was efficient and kind and the venue was quite comfortable.

I m not sure how other people like this food or consider this delicious Few complaints: 1) pancakes are soggy (feels like it was microwaved) 2) Fruit for the kids menu is frozen/hard. 3) panini is basically egg bacon and cheese slapped on bread. 4) undercooked bacon Suggestions: fully cook the food, don t treat it as fast food and take your time meal preparation.

The food was good and came within a half hour, which is not so bad. The atmosphere was cute, a bit uppity. The workers were a mix between really friendly and mellow/reserved. I had the turkey sandwich.

Low quality food. The pasta I ordered was reheated and still lukewarm, the garlic bread was wrapped sadly in tin foil, and tasted like it was reheated for the 3rd time. Also it was the thinnest piece of garlic bread I ve ever had. Save your money, go anywhere else.

Im a dasher. I was picking up an order and they did not have 2 items. Was trying to talk to them and ask customer if he wants something different but the old man was being rude with me. Telling me I should got my items from the desk and get out. Told him he was being rude then GM came to talk to me. He was even more rude. This guys are just like gangsters. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I will Report them to company!

Loved the Chicken Sandwich on a baguette with Caesar salad on the side. Very good value for the $$, clean and good location. Will definitely go again. Saw some ladies with huges Caesar salads, so will try that next time.

This is the kind of place you eat when youre 75 and your tastes bus are dead but you still want to be around ppl - quiet ppl. Im sure they used Costco cold shrimp and added that to my repacked Costco salad. Nothing wrong with Costco but its better fresh from Costco-not 3 days after it was made. I immediately regret choosing this place for my meal within 20 seconds of unpacking my food bc it removed me hospital food.

So appalled at the service received today. Ordered a tomato mozzarella sandwich, after 20 minutes of waiting, approached the counter to ask where food was. The server (short brown hair) acted unconcerned. She rudely insinuated that we didnt know didnt know how to use the buzzer; which never buzzed. She nonchalantly said someone must have picked it up. She then walked away without offering a solution. Finally she offered to make another sandwich. When the sandwich came, we politely reminded her it was to go. She acted agitated as if were a bother. She never apologized for the error and ignored us as she handed the order over. She didnt give us cutlery or asked if we needed anything. Although she acted to busy for us, she had time to talk to her coworkers about her day. Well, u messed up our day. Terrible service and mediocre food

We used to come here at least once a week. The last visit was very disappointing. They no longer use dinnerware everything is served in Styrofoam containers. The panini was wrapped in tin foil. Every thing was lukewarm I felt like a hobo eating at a soup kitchen. That was my last visit. Prices dont match the experience. Id give no stars but Im required to give at least one

The woman at the counter, Jeanette, was extremely rude. She acted like she was extremely bothered with us as we were ordering like normal. I asked her for our cup at the end and she just walked away without saying anything. Not to mention the fan inside is completely covered with dust. Super disgusting. Won t be back.

One of my favorite places to grab a bite. The menu has something for everyone. The entrée are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. I have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and have never been disappointed. They have changed something to keep people safe since covid, but it doesnt affect the dinning experience. I stopped in for lunch and ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp; this day the shrimp only cost $1 extra. When I walked back to pick up my order I actually thought the bowl sitting there was soup, because of the low content level. Much to my surprise the shrimp were plain straight from the refrigerator cold and just thrown on top. Well, the lemon bar was good and tasty

I used to love this place but in the last few years each time I go back, I just dont want to return. Got the Anaheim Panini today & it is a mini size, so small. I did go back to just in to show them thinking it was a mistake. I was told it has been always like this. When I showed another Panini with regular bread size was told those are bigger since they cost more. I didnt want to argue. They already have a hard job. I have been going to Corner Bakery for years in many locations & if this is the size now just tell me, Dont say it has been this size for a long time.
