New American~breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Bakery, Deli, Craft beer + Wine
Your typical neighborhood mom and pop kitchen. Everything here is fresh and made to order. This was my third time having the yummy magnolia omelet with sourdough toast and fresh fruit. Spread the feta cheese evenly around its open face... it really makes the omelet. I also had some of my partner's lavender latte. It's nice that the the lavender kicks in after the coffee flavor. Coffee is still unlimited, but no longer self serve - they come around to refill. They also have homemade desserts and baked goods (cookies, croisants, cakes, scones, muffins, etc.) I want to come back and try their lunch menu + soup of the day.

I finally tried this place after living nearby for 5 years!
During Hurricane Hilary I started craving pancakes. Google lead me to this shop.
I wanted real pancakes and HMK delivered. I ordered the flight sampler which is enough pancakes for 3-4 people.
Lemon Ricotta was my favorite!
Perfect bacon—thick, flavorful, not-too-salty, and well-done.
Parking was easy.
Customer service was FABULOUS! The employees seemed happy and eager to serve. The prices are a little steep but I feel good because the food is made with quality and fresh ingredients—-you can taste it. The employees seemed went above and beyond.
I’d definitely recommend and return. It’s not an overrated or trendy cafe on the Blvd. Glad the storm allowed us to meet.

I absolutely LOVE this place. From the ambiance to the coffee, food and desserts. The staff is super friendly and the owner as well. Always with a smile and making sure his customers are satisfied. I recommend the bowl, parfait, French toast, lattes. This is a place where you should come and try every dish. They have an outdoor area and free parking in the back. They close at 3 pm. They are quick even when the place is packed. Saturdays tend to be busy with great energy and vibe! Go to Harvest Moon! Even the name is magnificent.

The workers were very sweet and made me feel welcome. I got the breakfast steak burrito which was one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had. My friend got the French toast which came with so much that we couldn’t finish. Was really good for a nice relaxing brunch away from the sun.

The two brunch dishes we ordered were excellent. The food took a while to come out, but we were not in any rush and we’re enjoying our weekend brunch. Coffee drinks were good. We did not enjoy the bread pudding we ordered however — it was overtly heavy and thick.

Really disappointed. I ordered 2 of the family burritos with no bacon, which was even noted on our take out receipt. Both burritos had bacon and since they are mixed into the eggs, it’s nearly impossible to pick out, so I can’t even eat it.
Saw an earlier review where a dietary accommodation was not followed by the chefs either, so will not be back.

Dining here is a delight, from the casual atmosphere, the attentive staff, and the incredible food that the kitchen turns out, the experience is always wonderful. Everything they make is wonderful, but the last time I had the spicy chicken sandwich with tator tots, and it was just enough spice for flavor, and all the ingredients were as fresh as can be. Its easy to lose track of time when you have a meal here, a comfortable environment that lets you relax as you catch up with friends or family.

Went there today. Im vegan, they dont have anything really vegan on the menu, but they said that they can take out some non vegan stuff and make it vegan. After I started eating I tasted a piece of meat in my mouth. The dish doesnt even have meat originally. It was extremely disappointing to me. They said that it happened because they cook everything together on the same plate. Its just tells you that the kitchen is not clean at all. They are not cleaning between different food being made. People can have different allergies and whatever. Really disgusting. And I hate giving bad reviews

Went here for breakfast on a late Sunday morning. Place has partial table service, order at counter and food brought to your table. Three of us at the table, discovered that we were looking at different menus but almost the same. One of the menus was marked Spring/Summer and was missing some options. Went to counter to place order, Caucasian older female was at register taking order. Only offering description because it appears that the staff rotate at the register and I want to be specific about who was taking my order. When placing my order I pointed out that the menus were different and she responded with, no theyre not, dismissing what I was pointing out. No big deal but my mentioning it was in an effort to be helpful to the restaurant. She was proficient at taking my order which included one coffee. After paying and tipping in advance as they said they were credit only, she presented me with a coffee mug and told me the server would be over with water for the table. I sat myself down at my table waited fifteen minutes, waiting for coffee staring at an empty mug when fortunately I noticed another patron taking their mug to another area in the restaurant which made me realize that the coffee was self-serve, never told that by the wonderful cashier. After sitting for another five minutes, finally someone came with a bottle of water with plastic cups. We waited over twenty minutes and nearly a half an hour for two plates of pancakes and an omelette. The servings are huge. With the pancakes you have the option of a single for $4.25 or a stack for $11.00. Do not order the stack unless you havent eaten in a week as each pancake is approximately 10 in diameter and almost a half inch thick. One plate of pancakes which consisted of two pancakes, the top one was over cooked on both sides and cut like shoe leather. Their appeared to be no complaints with the other stack which were chocolate chip. I ordered a spinach, tomato, feta omelette with sour dough toast and hash browns. The toast and hash browns were fine, the omellete was a little over cooked and had a sour taste from the feta which instead of in the omellete was on top of it. They also server bakery items which looked absolutely delicious however cant speak for the quality as didnt order any of them. Food was not terrible, would not say I wouldnt go back if no other alternatives. Unfortunate that the cashier who started my experience left me sour as did the omelette. When I went to get my first cup of coffee their was a server by the coffee station who was very helpful with pointing at the different carafes that were there. The place is clean, the plates and silverware as well.

If breakfast or brunch is your favorite meal, then this place is a must visit! Food, service and atmosphere are seamlessly married, making for a favorite cozy, neighborhood restaurant. Lemon lovers--rejoice--their lemon ricotta pancakes and lemon rosemary muffins are soooo cravable, youll wake up with drool on your chin. The harvest bowl, with salmon, makes for an amazing savory breakfast, AND coffee and water are self-serve, which suited me just fine, since I need a lot of both. And the biscuits, some of the best!! Bonus points for an accessible, friendly restaurateur that greets his customers and makes sure their happiness quotient is high. A hidden gem, if you are looking for a new haunt with the gang.

The Chilaquiles is hands down the worst dish Ive ever endured. Being of Latin decent Im actually offended by it. When purchasing this dish I experienced an OVERWHELMING amount of Lime and Lemon flavor. I wish I was exaggerating, however, if you enjoy chewing different textures of lemon and lime this may be the dish for you. Also I purchased a coffee for $5 that was half empty. $35 down the drain. Wishing you the best with your business however I can not let this slide. R.I.P. Never returning.

Called again and out on hold. 10 minutes later I arrive to be told the kitchens closed despite it not being the published closing time. Oh were closed early today. All while still on hold! Ive spent a lot of my employers money here b/c it was great in the past. Too many bad experiences recently to consider it a one off.

Since they changed management a lot have changed, like small little details that made this cafe my place to-go in the past, but a continuous disappointment every time I give it a try recently. The staff is friendly and do their job, also the fried sweet potatoes still hit the spot. For healthy meat eaters they still have good looking options, and a lot of them.

Been going here for a nearly six years -- I love this restaurant. They have a plethora of great food and drink options and their quality is incredibly consistent. (And amazing coffee.) The staff is always polite and courteous, funny and personable, and the restaurant is clean and enjoyable. If you havent noticed, however, this restaurant is currently being basically doxxed/review-bombed by a bunch of personal rights advocates who watched a livestream that happened near this restaurant, where an employee had to call the police to try and have the livestreamers removed from near the premises. What this audience *maybe* doesnt know is that the web stream they are basing their opinions of the restaurant from is made by a couple large and rather intimidating-looking dudes decked out in video equipment -- a Go-pro attached to a lycra bandolier, a DSLR on a gimbal connected to an iPhone, etc -- and these dudes go around filming people in a very invasive manner, ask prying questions, all to try and evoke a reaction out of the people theyre filming. If the people being filmed respond in an even slightly less-than-friendly manner the dudes filming will bombard them with childish insults and harassments, further trying to evoke a reaction out of them. This is done in the guise of their advocating for public filming rights, or freedom of speech or something -- its really clearly a scam act to try and get someone to assault them so they can litigate for money. (At the least they just get their rocks off getting into confrontations for no reason, and maybe use the streaming platform to monetize their proclivity for playing victim) Its also worth mentioning that the streamers fly a banner of educating people about their rights insofar as public privacy -- one quip they use is Its just a camera, you have one in your pocket to those who deign to ask they not be filmed -- *of course* ignoring the fact 99.99% of people are not whipping their phone out and filming their own day-to-day quotidian routines all the time, let alone those of strangers around them. To wit, whatever point the streamers have to make about public privacy is rendered somewhat moot by the fact that the dudes filming have their faces completely covered by quasi-tactical facemasks, sunglasses, and ballcaps -- so their odd fixation on the hypocrisy of public privacy in the social-media-smartphone-era smacks of something less than sincerity. This restaurant is great and the staff do not deserve any of the ridiculous harassment thats been levied their way (fans of the livestream have been calling and badgering the employees, by the way). Hopefully this bit of insight into what the filming of these livestreams look like in person helps their audience understand how their own feelings might be different about the events if they were there to witness it themselves or, indeed, be filmed/harassed themselves.

Terribly rude regulars who ruin the atmosphere, the manager uses foul language encouraging a very unfriendly environment, food was alright..

I love this place. Staff is friendly and usually can t go wrong with food. Today I had Asian chicken salad, dressing and chicken were bit bland. Was bit pricey so my expectations were high. They re biscuits and bread pudding are ahhhmaazing.
