Absolutely great place. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Staff is very friendly and professional. Coffee is fantastic. Great ambience, cool kind of minimalist vibe. Everything was A1 here. The coffee is so good and the ham and cheese croissant is to die for! I went twice on my vacation in Cali and this place came highly recommended from a coworker. I was here everyday on my vacation. I wish they had locations in Vegas too because it’s better than Starbucks in my opinion. I ordered an iced white chocolate mocha, so yummy and the ice cubes are made of coffee. Customer service was excellent, and a huge thank you to Ron, I believe he is the owner, gave me an awesome mug souvenir. I will be back next time I’m in Cali. Being from Cali it was really awesome to get a warm welcome back from this place!

We have been wanting to visit for a while. Stopped in for a boba. Service was great and FAST!
The flavor of the taro milk tea with boba was yummy. One of the best I’ve had. The texture of the 🧋 was spot on. We will definitely be back to try other drinks and maybe bring about a dozen people so we can share a 🍪

Such a cute spot! They do have seating inside!
Spanish latte was pretty good. Highly recommend this drink. I’ve had others and they were all pretty good too! Parking is difficult sometimes during busy times but overall just have to wait a bit since people go in and out quick! I will come back for the food next time!

It did take a bit longer than usual to get my drinks since there were so many people. So do come and prepare a good 10-15 min. Won’t be a in and out situation.

Came to this coffee shop because it looked cute and it had good reviews however, I was very disappointed. We got the Spanish latte, honey lavender latte, a hot coco and a croissant.

Our drinks were cold and my sons hot coco was super hot. We asked them to make our drinks a little hotter because it was cold and they made them super hot, we burned our tongues. They couldn’t get the temperature right.

Our croissant was cold and the cheese was not melted and the croissants were not flaky and delicious like a croissant should be.
Although the ladies were nice, I wouldn’t go back the coffee was not good and the food was worse.

Decent spot. There is parking in front and left side of the mini strip mall. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The Skyfall Butterfly Milk Tea was pretty in color, the taste was average. Food was the main reason for our visit, unfortunately, choices were limited or removed during our visit. So we tried the peanut butter cookie which was very rich in flavor; perfect for peanut butter lovers.. One of the big table was left dirty.. Most definitely short staff and that is tough.. Wifi available, table seating, unisex restroom, and studying vibe. May give this place another try in the future..

Hooked on coffee is great! The staff and owner are super nice! The new honey mustard glazed ham and Swiss croissant is amazing Perfect blend of flavors. Their iced spanish latte is my favorite especially because it has coffee ice cubes so it doesnt get watery. If you havent tried Hooked on Coffee you totally should!

They need to adjust their grind setting, because the espresso is bitter. I write this as a longtime barista, their espresso is not good and unless you drown it in syrup, it s just a waste of money. I tried adding honey to my latte and it was still bad. Normally I drink lattes without sweetener, but their espresso is not good. The atmosphere is quaint and great for studying.

Hooked on Coffee was previously The Corner Place. We have noticed a difference in the quality of food and smoothies. The cookies are not as moist as previous. I normally order the Strawberry Smoothie on both occasions. The taste was off. It was less favorable, like it was watered down. Recently, I ordered a Peach smoothie, and it lacks flavor as well. I did have someone else taste it, and they also stated it lacked flavor.

Found this hidden gem about 3 weeks ago. I was working remotely and was in dire need of coffee so I googled Nearest Coffee Shop?.. I decided to call and check for business hours as I was blown away by the best and professional service I experienced this coffee shop! The coffee is delicious and so is the shop!!

As soon as I walked inside, I was greeted with an enthusiastic hello and a smile. The man who helped me was patient and friendly. I decided to go with the Iced Spanish Latte. It was scraggly pretty good, especially since the taste did not get water surrender due to the ice(they use coffee ice cubes), so you still taste the delicious goodness. The interior gave picturesque vibes for all the social media peeps. I really like their floral area, and its a spacious spot to read a book, study, work, or just grab your drink and take it to go. I had a great experience, which included exceptional customer service, delicious drinks, pretty aesthetics, and good vibes.

First time visit to Corner Place Coffee today and it was a positive experience. There is plenty of parking out front or along the side. The interior is well decorated and very clean; it would be a nice place to hang out. I had a Spanish Latte and it was tasty, though not the best of the shops in the area. The food all looked awesome though and I d like to come back when I am hungry.

The drink I order was awful did not taste like the flavor I wanted a white chocolate milkshake. Taste more like a coffee latte with ice, missing the milk and chocolate. They do not accept the card for a free drink when you buy 8 drinks, I was so upset. Every time I go there I see new employees working there.

My absolute favorite boba cafe in the area! I am a graduate student so I am constantly at different cafes writing papers, hunting for the perfect ambiance, wifi, power outlet, AC, and delicious beverages. Corner place offers a generous size for the price compared to other cafes with a great variety of drink and topping options. I love that its a small business, they are so kind and personal as I ask for recommendations, I have yet to try a drink I didnt enjoy. Drinks are less sweet than chains outside (I usually order 30% sweetness level at other places and thats how they make it here) Boba is more on the soft side, rainbow jelly goes really well with the matcha drinks! Their hours are 10am-8pm every day and generally quiet on weekdays. Most people order to go so you get the space to yourself or share it with just a couple people This is a rare gem with most boba places only taking to-go orders nowadays.

I visited this place about a week and a half ago with two friends. Drinks were pretty but a little bit on the pricey side. My friend got the strawberry kiss but it was not sweet at all, just really sour, so I think something got messed up. I got the yuzu sunset lemonade and I did really enjoy it and it was very pretty. My friend also ordered a cookie and had to pester a worker for it because they forgot. Wasnt a bad experience, but probably wouldnt come back.

Neat little place, very easy to overlook and pass as you go along the boulevard. Make the stop, its worth it. Has a selection of tea, milk tea, coffee, slush, and smoothies; all with an array of add-ons like boba or jelly squares. They also have some pastry items. I tried the matcha butterfly milk tea with chia seeds. It was delicious.The place is clean, and staff is very friendly and helpful with the menu. Havent tried the food yet, but from the looks of it, it looks delicious.

Ordered the cookies and cream milkshake. The first time it tasted watered down so we asked them to remake it. They remade it and she (the owner?) seemed legitimately concerned about our satisfaction. The remade drink ended up being much better.

Cozy spot, cute decor and friendly staff. I went there on a whim with no prior knowledge of what type of coffee was served there. Ive driven by it a handful of times and decided to stop by, I was greeted by a staff member, asked what wanted. I really only wanted plain ol black coffee they gave me my coffee and it was good but a bit over priced in my opinion. I saw they had lattes and mochas, iced/hot varieties and while they looked yummy I went with my craving of black coffee. Inside is adorable and even has a couch with coffee table and a couple picture worthy spots for those who love a good photo op. Definitely worth a visit

We got here around 8pm and it was pretty full which is good for business! But we found it a bit odd standing right where they deliver the coffee, all tables were occupied and it s fairly small. The environment is good and the staff was friendly! We ordered a iced vanilla latte & Iced Spanish latte. The vanilla latte was really good and it seemed like they used Madagascar vanilla, didn t taste artificial. The Spanish latte tastes ok at the beginning but once you let the coffee sit for about 10-15 mins it tastes so much better! I find it very Interesting how they use Ice coffee cubes!

The people and the coffee are wonderful. The skyfall tea is pretty and delicious. The boba here has always been perfect. Just the right amount of chew. It is great in all of their milk teas as well as some of their ice coffees. Im making my way through the menu, but when in doubt, I get the taro milk tea with boba. Its my comfort drink and always on point. Try this place.

This is a great little cafe in our corner of the world. The owner is very nice and a talented barista. Personally I am not a coffee person, but my friends who are, enjoy the lattes. I love ordering tea or hot chocolate which are both so good! Its a nice place to sit and do work while enjoying a hot drink.

This is my go to spot in Whittier. The owner and staff are always very friendly and patient. I come here often on my days working from home to spend a few minutes to enjoy my coffee and get on with my daily grind. Truly an amazing place and a special gem in an otherwise inconspicuous strip mall. Cold brew coffee is the best I have ever had. Americano is also dreamy. I dont eat sugar but I see people getting amazing looking blended drinks all the time. Definitely beats any of the big chain coffee shops in the area.

The best coffee in the US Ive ever had. Previously, the best coffee Ive had has been in other countries. After inquiring about their coffee I found out Corner Place utilizes specialty coffees weekly, that are freshly roasted and freshly ground, ensuring it is not over-roasted which is key in preventing that bitter flavor found from many coffees here in the states. Corner Places coffee is very smooth and flavorful all the way through. Im so impressed with this little coffee house, its my new favorite place in Whittier. Note: this may read like Im related to the ower(s), but in fact I have no association with whoever they are but simply, extremely impressed with their coffee I had to wite this review. By the way, I had a Spanish Latte.

The iced coffee (black) and cold brew are top notch and I m sure everything else is just as delicious. The atmosphere is so relaxing and tranquil, I feel at ease just standing in the place. The staff is very welcoming, always met with a big smile. Keep it up CP!!

Tried out this place with some friends. The employee was very helpful and gave us some great drink suggestions. We all enjoyed our drinks and would highly recommend this business. We plan on coming back soon

Great service, chill vibes, delicious boba! Seating isnt the best so bring a cushion if you plan to stay a while.

My wife and I have been here twice now. On our first visit, we were greeted by a new hire and the owner. They were both nice. The owner is very friendly. Since it was our first time, she told us how her drinks are different from other places and that they have fresh baked goods daily. I ordered a mint chocolate chip milkshake with boba and a chocolate chip cookie. The shake tasted better than I expected. Well balanced with cream, mint and chocolate chips. More than enough boba to satisfy. The cookie was warm like after pulling them out from the oven for a few minutes. The chips were still soft and a little melted. Yum! As for the seating, it is comfortable and clean. Last night we came here on our second visit. This time welcomed in by another girl. My wife asked her about another drink and she described it very well that we want to try it on our next visit. This visit we got Thai Tea with boba. My wife ordered it iced. Since it was cold already, I ordered it hot. My wife and I were very happy that we saw that the Thai Tea was made with real brewed Thai Tea. We were happy that the Thai Tea was not powdered or premixed. We look forward to coming here again and again. I highly recommend fulfilling your Thai Tea and boba cravings here.
