This location is small. Expect to wait if you're coming in a big group especially for brunch. The menu for brunch is small. Some good options but limited to 8 dishes or so. They do not do the Unlimited Mimosa drinks with brunch at this location which is not a problem because they have the kit for $30 and you can just be pouring up without having to ask for a refill. Staff was super friendly. Really great service and the ambiance was great.

We had lunch here today. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions since it was our first time. We had the Chicken/waffle breakfast, chicken caeser wrap and 2 of the special tacos for Taco Tuesday. Everything was delicious and great portions for the price! Highly recommend!

Customer service is awesome, very friendly staff. Service is quick and helpful. It was our first time here, food was pretty good. Fries are amazing, we had both garlic and regular, I loved the regular. Chicken was tasty, they have a variety of dipping sauce's. The atmosphere is really comforting but cozy with a hint of up to date with plenty of TV's.

First time here was Fantastic!! We Had the Chicken Nachos and the Poutine with a watermelon and a Mango Michelada. Food was Great and very large portions. The drinks were flavourful. Even with tables full we were severed very quickly. Thanks Sydny H. Our server for the hospitality.

If you're looking for an alternative to spicy chicken sandwiches from Clyde's or Dave's, this isn't it. The sandwiches are serviceable enough, but use thick, almost chewy chicken patties which are most likely frozen before frying. Definitely nowhere near Nashville style chicken. I guess I wasn't expecting Nashville hot, but the texture itself threw me off a bit. They definitely don't brine their chicken beforehand.

For the price it wasn't really what I was expecting. However, I might come back some time in the future to try out their other options, maybe get a burger or chicken tenders. Decent amount of beers on tap and an upbeat environment.

I love this place so much ! Never fails. The food is just simple amazing everything cooked and prepared to perfection. Their chicken is so juicy and tender never over cooked. Their chicken taquitos are bomb as well and with their salsa just chefs kiss. Their alcoholic drinks are very good as well they even offer pitchers for some of them. Ambiance is always great. Kind of a small place inside but they also have outside seating. Customer service is always great very attentive staff making sure of where missing anything or want anything else. My mouth just waters looking back at these pictures everything taste so good.

Food came really fast. Definitely would NOT recommend their micheladas. 1 out of 10. Their micheladas taste like sparking water with tajin.

Before I submitted the review I informed the server about how the micheladas tasted as she handed me her tap to pay device. Poor hospitality service, should have brought the manager or at least took one of the drinks off. Not coming here ever again. Pictured are the 2 micheladas we barely drank and left.

**Disappointing Experience with Manager Ricardo!** I was really looking forward to dining at this location, especially since it was on my bucket list! The ambiance was welcoming, and our waitress, Angela, was fantastic and attentive, helping us with our orders. I enjoyed a delicious watermelon margarita, and my friend found her cucumber Fresca refreshing. The popcorn chicken appetizer was perfectly fried and seasoned, setting high expectations for our main courses. However, both of us were disappointed with our entrees. My rotisserie chicken was served cold, and overall, the food lacked flavor. During our meal, Angela took a 30-minute lunch break, and another staff member took over. When I tried to address the issue with a staff member named Ricardo, his response was dismissive and rude. He implied I took too long to report the cold food, and criticized me for having touched it to check the temperature, suggesting he needed to order me new food as a result. It s disheartening because we anticipated a wonderful experience. Despite the promising start, the lack of attention to food quality and poor customer service left us feeling let down. Insulated find out that Ricardo is one of the managers at this location I was very disappointed as management he lacks customer service experience and the knowledge of how to communicate properly and respectful with customers. Please get him some training Parking: This location is a busy area of Whittier they offer a large parking lot with plenty of spaces in the parking is free there is also ample street parking available for free as well just remember read the parking restriction signs

I love the chicken here. And there chilaquiles are top tier! I like there brunch options and the waitress are always nice and attentive. The dining area is a bit compact. But overall great place to eat something delicious.

I was very disappointed in the customer service I received. I ordered my food online and the only options for ordering online are delivery or pickup. There is no option for dine in. On the website there is a lunch special for the half chicken which comes with the chicken, two sides, and a drink for $16.99. I ordered the half chicken but was charged full price. There is no option to select the lunch special when ordering online. When I picked up my online order the person at the front desk told me, next time I should call in my order if I want the lunch special price. The person that handed me my food, did not offer me the lunch special price or try and accommodate me. I asked if it was ok if we had my lunch there but was told that I couldnt because they were busy. There were four open tables that we could have sat at. They said that they keep the tables open during lunch time for people that walk in for lunch. I did not understand why they couldnt allow me to eat my lunch at an open table inside if there was plenty of open tables. It is not like I wasnt a buying customer. It was food that I purchased from them and it wasnt outside food from another business.

We were very disappointed with the service. Staff had a friendly and sweet demeanor but the professionalism just wasn t there. We were told a table was ready outside when it actually wasn t. Next, it went from an alleged 5 minute wait to a 30 minute wait for a table. On top of that, our server took very long to take our order and bring us our waters. The wait for the food was long as well. Lastly, the wait for our check was excessive as was the wait for our card after we paid. This unexpectedly turned into a 2-hour ordeal for nachos, fries and chicken tenders. In addition, I sadly witnessed a dad with his two kids in front of us waiting more than 20 minutes after being seated for the server to take their orders. The food itself was okay, maybe 3 stars worthy on food alone. Service was at 1 star. It s a very busy establishment flooded with Uber eats/delivery orders. I m guessing it was once a great spot but keeping up with Uber eats orders is really hurting the dine-in experience. I don t want to blame the workers alone although they may have dropped the ball, it just seems like they re overwhelmed here. I don t recommend dining here if you value being served in a timely and professional manner.

So seriously why people arent talking about the spiciness of the chicken. It burns so much and I love spicy food. This chicken is like an abusive relationship that we keep coming back for more and you cant get away from. Its really really good though.I didnt know if its possible to have different levels of spiciness? I definitely got the arson in your mouth special spicy special. This chicken should be on the TV show Hot onesif it hasnt already. And no Im not complaining about the spiciness I absolutely love it. This is my go-to place when I m in Whittier! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with garlic fries and garlic spread. It was delicious; each bite was a delight, and the presentation was 10/10. I recieved pictures from my nephew about Chicken Koop .He had visited and eat at the location in Downey,Ca. I was so excited about the picture he shared and satisfied at Whittier,Ca . I ordered the whole chicken with three sides Jalapeno Macaroni Cheese,Rice, Brussells Sprouts and the flat bread with choice of sauces. Excellent food.Also, it was my husbands birthday He ordered Chicken Quesadilla. Excellent For the birthday guest, The waitress and the the entire team at Chicken KoopWhittier ,Ca gave us excellent service and gave desert called with fry donut stuff with oreo cookie with ice cream with chocolate ,whip cream. The food was great. Came through for Taco Tuesday before heading to the movie theater and it was really worth it. Got the tacos and they were delicious. I got a regular draft beer and that was cool too. Highly recommend yall to try this place out.

Great place to dine, if you are a sandwich preferred kind of person, highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich! Whether it s the spicy, normal fried or the Side chick flavored (it s a bit of a sweet and spicy) . The place is hands down must try for their famous chicken sandwich! Especially when they mix it with the garlic fries! Now my experience is mainly fried chicken sandwich, with a mix of nacho fries and poutine, I cannot hold any other experience for the rest of the food I can say however after trying their Mac and cheese, it s pretty disappointing. Don t recommend adding it to your sandwich(cost too much money for how much they add or how it taste) Regardless, it is my guilty pleasure to come here and there for their sandwiches! Would highly recommend

Went for a relaxing dinner and the music that was played was uncensored rap music. I ordered a cheese quesadilla appetizer, it was brought with my meal. When I asked why it wasnt brought out before the main corse they said I had to request it. I thought thats what an appetizer was. I ordered the taco sampler, one chicken taco was so dry I couldnt eat it, this other chicken taco was to be broiled. It was basic shredded chicken, also dry, couldnt finish that and the pastor taco, I dont even know what that meet was. The final fish taco was so hard and dry, took two bits. Best part was the cheese quesidilla. Wont be going back. Food has really gone down over time.

Taco Tuesday $2.50/each was delicious. Tried 2 roasted chicken, a fish style, and a chicken tinga. Would likely do 2 fish, 2 tinga doing again, but all were good and the habanero sauce was excellent. Excellent service too despite it being busy.

Our party was the first ones there, completely empty inside (Lunch time). We were told we couldnt be seated right away and we needed to be seated together yet other groups came in sporadically and seated immediately. The server/hostess was rude about the menu and said If you dont like something, you cant send it back and still need to pay for it... Who says that? Her attitude is reason enough not to go back.

The spicy fried chicken sandwich was really good. The place is crisp and clean. The servers are attentive most of the time. The only issue I had with the food is the fries. They were very undercooked. If fresh, hot fries are made to order they shouldnt be soggy and limp. If I pick up a fry it shouldnt slump over. I also was not a fan of QR code menus. I just want to look at the food. It should not take 10 minutes to download the 16mb menu(but it did) The chicken was very good. They rated the spice 7/10. I think for someone who doesnt enjoy spice, it may be a 7 to them. For spicy lovers, it was probably a 4 or 5 out of 10 on spice level. Overall a good experience. But be aware it is very pricey for chicken.

We had a ball. It was my birthday weekend and they somehow were able to seat a large party of 20. The customer service was amazing. We sat the kids at separate table, and they had their own server. I was truly delighted with the selection of multicultural chicken dishes from Mediterranean, BBQ, garlic roasted, teriyaki, and apparently, the fried chicken is so good they ran out of it.

Ordered food from them and sat out on the patio. They were clear about the difference in service level when dining outside, which we were fine with. Ordered a 1/4 chicken with dark meat, it came with pita bread, and a side of Brussel sprouts. Brussel sprouts were delicious and they gave me a generous portion of it. The chicken looked small but I felt full at the end of the meal :) Chicken Cesar wrap was flavorful; chicken was tender. The wrap had a good mix of texture. They have many locations and you know what this place really is not bad its a good place to go for some drinks and some food the food is not the best like it looks good but tastes why is just basic the empanadas though those are delicious the chicken tikka empanadas are really delicious the cocktails are really cute too they really tasty perfect and get a picture share with friends the ambiance is great its not a bad place in a cute neighborhood as well you get to walk around afterwards to walk off the food and stop at some of the other stores and shops

Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is dark. The menu is a bit overwhelming, there is a lot to choose from. I ended up getting a spicy fried chicken sandwich which comes with coleslaw. I decided to add jalapeño mac and cheese and add poutine fries on the side. While it does look great all the flavors blended together. Personally I would have liked to have the mac and cheese on the side. The poutine was okay, instead of cheese curds its shredded cheese so the gravy over powered the taste of the cheese to the point I didnt even notice it. Even though I was a bit disappointed it still tasted very good. I would definitely go back and try other things. If you in the area and in the mood for chicken definitely stop by.

THE CHICKEN KOOOP!! Great freaken flavor Im almost everything!! So amazing, so delicious you wont regret it!! The only thing you will regret is getting their MICHELADAS cause they are NOT IT!!! Parking: It can get right sometimes Wheelchair accessibility: They have a beautiful slope/on ramp and can easily move tables/chairs for you!!

The food was good, the waitress was nice! But, after my birthday dessert we were asked if we were going to be ordering any more food because there are people waiting to be seated. We felt that was rude. Dessert was yummy!
