I am quite annoyed with this place. They got my order wrong from start to finish. I ordered a Large chai tea. They rang it in as a small, so I received a small. Annoying but fine. I also ordered the 32oz PeachJasmine tea. I remember them snickering and commenting back and forth quickly. I recall hearing "she" and "notice" at some point but again, not my business and I don't care. I'm not terribly sure what they ended up handing me but it is definitely not a peach Jasmine which I have had many times. It's a pomegranate tea of sorts. The absolute WORST customer service you will ever experience at a coffee shop is here. I understand people have bad days. However, their attitude and horrible customer service is an every day occurrence. If I could give this place a zero I would. This is a reminder why Starbucks down the street is much better.

I am not a coffee drinker but i do enjoy some teas. I was in the mood for a refreshing tea and happened to walk into coffee bean. Right away I was cheerfully greeted by Jes. Her prompt attention and great service was very impressive. Since I am not well versed in these orders she noticed my confusion and asked what I was in the mood for. I explained what I was thinking of and she immediately suggested the hibiscus berry tea and I loved it. I will be back!

Very dirty serving area. I pointed it out to the attendees. They laughed. There is dust with dead insects near the food prep areas and the display case. Several months of dust.

My 1st time to this location and it's my LAST. Two employees gave the worst customer service. I ordered a Large Classic Mocha Blend. The guy must have not paid attention and put medium, plus didn't give me a receipt.
The customer before me took a sip out of the wrong drink and gave it back to the barista, saying she didn't touch it (I saw her). They tried to give me that same drink twice! The barista (girl) kept rolling her eyes at me when I called them out on their mistakes. Terrible terrible customer service. The other reviews don't lie. This place is absolutely horrible, plus discusting!

I rather drink this coffee over any other location hands down. Great place to relax and clear your mind! I enjoy this place. I really enjoy coming here with the very nice and polite workers here at this location.

What I like about this coffee place is their matcha frappe it's not milky, just perfect 👌.
I've tried SB matcha frappe, and it doesn't hit the spot. I've also tried matcha with cookie, and their cookie butter kind is good too. These drinks are good without added syrups on top.

Dont go here! TERRIBLE customer service. I went today for the first time to check it out and I ordered 2 matcha lattes. Then I proceeded to use their restroom. When I came out I heard them call an order for a matcha latte. So I went over there. And just to confirm it was my order, I asked politely if these were the matcha lattes with the almond milk and and one of the employees, a woman with long brown hair, in a rude and aggressive tone said, Well theyre the only ones that have been ordered! VERY unnecessary.

This was the filthiest CBTL that I have ever been to. While I was waiting I was looking behind the counter & it was filthy. There was a homeless person sitting inside with his shoe off & the shoe was just in the middle of the floor. He was asking for money the second we walked in. He was walking around the restaurant with no shoe on looking for stuff. I will never go back & it makes me even wonder if CBTL does visits to their stores or franchises. I didn t even drink my drink, I threw it out.

Were very rude to a homeless guy, and racist towards my boyfriend who is Hispanic. He asked to used the restroom while I was breastfeeding my baby and they changed the password for the bathroom even though another customer was able to use the restroom

The person making the drinks got my order confused. Love, love, love The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Have been a solid fan of the company coffee chain for decades and this location has been the closest to me so it has been a special place for me to go. Ive turned a lot of people onto CB/CBTL over the years, many of them at this very location. It has been, however, bittersweet over the more recent years. The staff is almost always some the rudest staff by far. I frequent CBTL locations in different cities and counties and no other location has ever made me feel as awful as this one. When someone is friendly yes, its welcoming. Someone could be quiet and still be efficient and accommodating right? Well, not at this location. There about maybe 3 employees who are decent but the rest overshadow the decent ones. I couldnt easily not visit but again, this is the closest to me, always has been. Ive scaled back more recently because I realized I would make a deep sigh upon opening their door. The employees hired oddly come off as annoyed when someone enters. Dare ask a question or not say the right thing and it you can hear it in their tone and see it in their facial expressions at how much of a bother it is for them to serve you. Like how 3 are noticeably acceptable, there are 3 that makes my skin boil seeing them because I know how horrible they come off not just to me but to anyone walking in. Asking for drink ingredients, changing orders, asking for straws or napkins, or asking for the daily changed restroom codes is like pulling teeth. The worst of 3 seem to work the most and work together, 1 is outright the worst of them all. Ive witnessed countless uncalled for mistreatment of customers asking innocent questions and being treated so rudely. Ive endured the rudeness so much it makes the experience not worth trying. If I hadnt had a love for CBTL for over the years like I have, I certainly wouldnt give a dime or ounce of time to this location.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS LOCATION 0 STARS I WOULD. Honestly was looking forward to getting coffee but they ruined it. I placed an online order and when I arrived, there was nobody inside (8 am). One of my items was a latte with extra foam and some egg bites (the veggie ones). They took about 15-20 min to heat up the food after I got there and to top it off my order was completely wrong !! The coffee had no extra foam, didn t taste like what I ordered and for some reason when I opened the lid it was OILY ! They also gave me bacon egg bites instead of veggie of which I am severely allergic to. These employees need training and corporate needs to supervise this team. If there is nobody in the store there is no reason for them to get the order wrong !

I visited this location recently and the young lady at the counter was too busy discussing her evening plans with her coworkers to listen to my order. When it was inevitably wrong, the barista raised their voice at me telling me that was what I ordered before going back to their conversation. I asked again about my drink and was even willing to reorder it when the barista huffed and said they will remake it but I better order it right next time. There won t be a next time

So every morning before I go to work I stop and get a cup of coffee. This time I decided hey Im going to try coffee bean. So I went in to order my coffee stood by the cash register was the only one in their waited waited and waited the two women that were working there just kept Passing Me By. Finally the one lady said have you ordered no maam I havent ordered what do you want. Can I get a cup of coffee with Hazelnut and a little bit of creamer. So I ordered my coffee I went to the restroom asked the other woman is there a code for the restroom she goes yeah and walked away haha so I went around I asked her again she gives me the code and I come back out Im waiting and waiting and waiting and then finally I walk around and I noticed theres a cup of coffee and I asked the lady I said is this mine she goes yeah. So I took it by the time I got my coffee it was lukewarm. Customer service sucks. The they have no talent for making coffee at all

Employees are rude! As I was walking in an employee was walking out to talk on his phone. I get to the register and the person told me he will be right with me and starts chatting with the girl coworkers then the guy from outside on the phone comes in and starts talking about going to the dodger game and starts talking about another employee and the other guy asked him if he was on lunch or break and he said no and they kept talking. After me standing there for minutes the guy that came in from outside finally takes my order. I finally get my drink and they ran out of large cups so they had to give me a medium cup and a small cup. This place is ran by nothing but little kids. They also always have their online system off so they don t even take online orders anymore. Coffee bean Whittier - DO BETTER!!!

Prices are reasonable, the ambiance is nice for studying or hanging out with friends, and the staff was really nice! Vegetarian options: They have vegan brownies and banana walnut bread! Possibly more options, but I only ordered those.

Tables were messy and there was not only no line, but no drive thru or crowd in the store. When I politely asked for a cloth to wipe the sticky table , I was given a dirty one (flakes of food on it ). I asked if the young woman could please rinse it and she said, It is in a sanitizing solution I asked if she could rinse it because it had food on it. She said, I have much to do over here, indicating an online order. No other workers were available despite there being two of them. Break? Lunch? Unsure, but very disappointing. I worked as a barista and know the flow. You grab your restocking, stocking, and cleaning times when you can. Just surprised and dismayed.

I spoke with Megan today (via phone) to inquire about hot chocolate-to-go for a 4th grade class party on the 21st. Megan was knowledgeable and professional over the phone. She provided options and assured me the order process would be easy. What a wonderful CB & TL representative Megan is! When I went to the store to order and pay, Layla helped me, and again, another wonderful customer service interaction! Layla listened to my plans and again provided the options and I was able to place my order efficiently and quickly. Thank you Layla and Megan for the great and friendly customer service!

Perfect place. When visiting the area, we stopped by the cafe every morning for a delicious breakfast and latte. All the items on the menu we stayed at were great but you have to get there early be air conditioned they really run out of fresh baked goods. The atmosphere was interesting and we felt at home.

The man behind the counter (was wearing a beanie and tattoos on his arm) didn t say a word to me, his co-worker came over to the counter and ask the customers that were waiting in line behind me, if they have been helped, the nice lady that was behind me (customer) said, this gentleman was here first. I told the man behind the counter, I was here first; he replied, well I ve been standing here waiting for you to order. I replied, you haven t said one word to me, you could have said, may I help you but no, I ve been standing here for ten minutes. I just walked out. Horrible experience.
