I would say this is the McDonalds of all Persian restaurants in LA. Nothing looked or tasted authentic. The Kashke Bademjan appetizer tasted everything but what it was supposed to taste. The kebabs meat were overly marinated and not natural.

The first time I tried the beef koobideh kabob at Kobob Village, I loved it, and it quickly became my favorite Persian restaurant, especially for that dish. However, during my recent visit, I noticed that the taste and quality of the koobideh kabob had changed significantly. I m writing this review because I really love this restaurant and would like to continue dining here. I m not sure why the quality has changed, but I kindly request that they bring back the same koobideh kabob they served when they first opened.

The food especially kobideh doesnt taste good at all! There isnt really any service, but you have to tip at least 18%, you actually order and pay at the checkout and your food is slapped on the table!!!! Oh, your drink only comes when youve already eaten half of your food and oh yes, if youre not careful, theyll charge you even more! Ghorme sabzi tastes like water, no real meat in it, its all in one very bad, mahiche and baghali Polo tastes like nothing, Im not exaggerating, its just a shame to spend so much money in kabob village! Never again

I m a regular customer of this Persian restaurant, always ordering online, and I ve never been let down by the quality of their food. Their consistency is commendable, with every dish meeting high standards every single time. The standout for me has to be the koobideh it s genuinely the best I ve encountered, offering a taste that keeps me coming back for more. However, I feel I must point out the pricing on their rack of lamb. At $35 for just four pieces, it seems a bit on the pricier side, especially when considering the overall value. While the lamb is delectable and perfectly prepared, the price doesn t quite match the quantity. Despite this, my experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. The seamless online ordering process and the reliability in the quality and flavor of the food are what make me a repeat customer. This restaurant is a gem for anyone in search of authentic Persian cuisine, and I eagerly anticipate my next order koobideh is definitely on the list! Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to get in

I just wish they would give you more chicken because you end up with so much rice and not enough chicken. Just add a little more chicken so were not left with half rice I have to throw out. Also I see all this nice salad sitting there all cut up and when they give you salad they give you these mint like leaves that arent real edible, give me some of that lettuce that I see cut up all nice, thats is the salad. I ordered the beef koobideh to go and it was decent. My main concern is why this place doesnt have some sort of system for servicing to-go orders. I walk in and ask for a LS beef koobideh, sit down at a table and wait for my order. 5 minutes, 10 minutes pass. A party of 5 walks in and orders for-here and gets their order before mine and thats when I walk to the cashier and ask whats the status of my order. It was ready the whole time, just sitting there getting cold but they dont call your order number/bring it to your table/tell you that its ready. So if I just sat there for 30 minutes I wouldnt know if they finished making it? Am I just supposed to stare at the cashier while blocking the line until she feels guilty for me visibly waiting? The food itself was fine but getting the order to-go is an awful experience.

Even though we set inside there were mosquitoes and flies everywhere. The salad served next to the dish was a disaster and the herb that usually is served with kabab is basil but they give you mint !!!! I came upon Kabob Village while handing some other personal business at that strip. The entrance is accessed from the parking lot, and has a couple of tables outdoor. I had the Ghormeh Sabzi combo, which is a beef stew. It was served with plenty of rice, and it came with a refillable soda. While I really enjoyed the plentiful and tender beef, the tomato sauce in which it was stewed, and the delicate rice, I wished it all had been better condimented. The price was right, and there was enough food for me to take home and eat again for lunch the next day. Great deal! Im already making plans to revisit, to try their Falafel plate. Kid-friendliness: There is plenty of indoor seating, but the outdoor seating might be perfect for kids on a sunny day.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kabab Village, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent hospitality. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal. The menu boasted a variety of enticing options, but my eyes were immediately drawn to the Beef Kobideh and Chicken Breast Kabab. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The Beef Kobideh was cooked to perfection, with the right balance of spices and a tender texture that melted in my mouth. It was simply divine. As for the Chicken Breast Kabab, it was an absolute delight. The meat was juicy and succulent, infused with delightful flavors that enhanced its natural taste. The accompanying seasonings and marinades were spot-on, creating a burst of flavors with every bite. It was a true testament to the culinary skills of the chefs at Kabab Village. What truly set Kabab Village apart was its exceptional staff. The team was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met promptly . I visited the restaurant yesterday with my elderly mother and two children. While I was searching for parking, my mother and kids went inside. We had a wonderful time, and as always, the food was excellent. However, the following day, my mother mentioned that she was treated poorly by one of the staff members. She had politely asked the lady if she could sanitize the table, to which the lady responded that she needed to order food first. Given my mothers severe back pain and the responsibility of looking after two kids, she needed a place to sit immediately. Instead of offering assistance, the worker returned behind the counter and simply stared at my mother. Im uncertain about the motives behind this behavior, but I prefer not to make assumptions. Instead, I would like to share my experience without jumping to conclusions. I must note that the gentleman who took our order and prepared the food displayed exceptional character and had good manners.

Also the chicken kabob was not that cold but there was something on the chicken that stained you fingers I don t know if was butter food coloring or something else. So food taste good but food is cold and service is okay not the best.

The food in here was 10/10. The koobideh was perfectly juicy and the staff were so nice. I do wish the doogh was better as it was bitter.

The chicken and beef koobideh are excellent. Juicy and flavorful and very tender. Among the best youll have in LA! The shirazi salad was disappointing because it was sweet but who cares? The baklava isnt good but who cares? They make fresh bread which is great but the bread isnt that great but who cares? The koobideh are outstanding and thats all that matters!

I am not sure who the guy was at the front was but he was... i want to say lost in the sauce, but he doesnt know what sauce is. I came in to pick up my order and asked for white sauce, the individual at the front looked at me like i was crazy. I followed up with, you know like tahini or yogurt sauce, the man literally started scratching his head in confusion. Meanwhile the chef in the back is screaming to the guy there is not more meat, NO MEAT. Which leaves Mr. Sauce boss absolutely stunned and paralyzed. I proceed to ask for any popular sauce, and he says we have hot sauces. I am stunned at the answer and I said no like a white sauce and he proceeded to give me hot sauce. yeah, no. Dietary restrictions: Sauce Parking: paid parking unless you want to park far away

Fresh, delicious and well served food! We ate in Kabob village as a family. It was family friendly, relaxing environment with nice artistic decorative touches. All kabobs were soft and juicy, while the meat completely was cooked! Going back there for sure.

I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in this restaurant . We had a 2 course meal, with a persian drink called doogh . Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Variety of choices on menu. Overall, excellent taste. Do yourself a favour and try their Barg Kabob

Be prepared to pay 30$ for rack of lamb. Where you get fed mainly rice. Im not sure where all that money went to, my plate was a mountain of rice with a few tiny pieces of lamb. The lamb was just OK, but Ive paid way less for better lamb. This place is overpriced, and definitely not worth it for the lamb itself.

It was my fourth time going to this place and I really liked and admired them by their good food since they just opened this business here, I m sorry, I hate to leave a low rating review but I m really disappointed how they reacted rudely when I told them that they brought the wrong meal, the chef from the kitchen came out and left a fully burnt chicken plate as a replacement on the table after 15 minutes by pushing my plate in an angry manner without any word. Kabob Village is a new business and they need to attract customers and not making them run away.
