I recently ordered Fesenjan from this Persian restaurant based on its location. There are a plenty space for parking in the shopping center. The interior was clean and quiet, but they only offer pick-up options. While the rice was fresh and well-cooked, the Fesenjan tasted like it had been frozen and reheated, lacking the authentic flavor. After a few bites, I had to throw it away. Unfortunately, I cant recommend their Fesenjan at all!

Stay away from this trashy place!! My husband and I went for dinner. We ordered Salad, Kubudeh, lamb shank and arabic rice. The salad looks like 5 days old. Taste awful. The lamb kubideh must have been cooked at least one week before. They simply warm it up ! The lamb shank meat is already detached from the bones. It means the meat has been cooked and warmed up many times ! The rice was very awful. Smells terrible and looks rotten. The staffs from the kitchen were joking and screaming out loud, ignoring and disrespecting the guests completely. When we ask the waiter about the restaurant specialties, she said everything is special and delicious. No guidance at all !! To top it off, the next day both myself and my husband got food poisonings. Terrible headache, throwing up and diarrhea all day long. We were both very miserable and ended up in Emergency Care !! Stay away from this place please if you want to be safe !

Dining at Kourosh was a pleasant experience. The menu is extensive with both flavor & affordable pricing. The best time to come is during lunch hours. I did forget to take photos of the food but I can guarantee it looked & tasted great. Kourosh doesnt play around. They have a beautiful interior of the restaurant with music that elevates the experience. I had a wonderful time speaking with Mary; their manager. Who provided excellent service & a warm atmosphere. You wont be disappointed. Ill definitely be back for more. Vegetarian options: On the photos posted with the review you may clearly see which dishes are labeled vegetarian. Parking: The restaurant is located in a sizeable plaza. Plenty of parking can be found & there is a residential area nearby that could be used for parking in case of a busy lot. Otherwise, the lot is more than sufficient.

Food is good but the waitress is not. Very poor service. I paid my bill with cash and she didn t bother to bring the change. When I asked for it she replied I don t have change . I ended up paying with credit card. Bad tactics to make a few extra dollars in return to a poor service.

This was the second worst dining experience of my life. I waited weeks until entering this review to ensure that I could provide as unbiased a review as possible given my situation. tl;dr version: I paid over the phone in advance, and the restaurant gave my order to the wrong person. When I tried to pick up my food, they told me that someone who could barely speak English (their words) picked up my food and unapologetically interrogated me, implying that I was trying to steal from them (my first language is English). They tried not to give me my food, but I was ultimately successful. Google reviews has a character count, so you can see my full review on Yelp.

The worst kabob ever. Ordered soltani among other things. Barg was so dry and hard to chew. Koobideh was mixed with so many things you could not taste meat at all. And such small portion for the price. The lady that welcomes you and serves you is better off being in the back. She is probably a nice lady but she is not made for customer service. She makes such faces, you feel like she is angry you are there.

Review №47

The food is good, served on china plates with real silverware, the tables and chairs are of good quality and comfortable, floor paved in black slate mosaics, the place is clean and the ambient is relaxing with high ceilings, walls painted in warm colors decorated with a large beautiful portray of the Persepolis, the ancient capital of the Persian empire, Persian historic symbols of Farvahar and Achaemenid soldiers, a huge engraved Samovar sitting on the counter, and many other interesting artifacts. Background music and a small starter appetizer (vegetable, cheese, ) were missing and badly needed. The waitress has a nice and stylish appearance, however, seems unhappy with a not-so-friendly attitude and at times a bit disrespectful. It gives one an unwelcome feeling. It is a shame. She seems like she could be a nice girl. I really hope that she improves her demeanor with the customers.

We love the food here but the service from the waitress is just disrespectful. You begin to wonder if the problem is you or she is just plain racist? There was eye rolling, sarcastic questioning of our meal choices and not even waiting to let us finish ordering. She forgot to bring in one of our plates and when we said cancel it because it s too late she didn t even bother apologizing. The owner on the other hand was wonderful and hopefully the one star will get his attention to create a better experience for his customers.

My family has heard of Kourosh Restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. We came on a weeknight, and it was pretty empty, which was kinda nice in a way. I love how they serve fresh, warm, complementary bread and butter. The dinner portions are pretty big, and come with lots of rice. The boneless chicken kabob is very good, pretty juicy and tasty. The white fish with sabzi polo (green rice) was very good and well made. We also ordered the gheymeh stew with tahdig. The gheymeh was well made. The tahdig wasn t so fresh but still okay. Overall a good experience. I m not sure if they are understaffed or just because it was a random weeknight. I would go again just because the food is very good.

Where can i start? This restaurant is by far one of the worst restaurants i have ever been to. My first weird encounter with the staff of the restaurant was when the lady demanded from me a tip. She literally demanded i give her a tip. The owners are very rude and disrespectful, I once ordered food to eat inside and they gave me plastic utensils and a styrofoam plate. Review №82

There is a sad and rude waitress girl who is not professional at all to customers and based on my experience her manner is very insulting. Below I describe why I am not a happy customer: 1) The waitress girl many times show a face full of hate to me as a customer. She never got a training that she has to greet the customer. 2) The waitress does not give me enough time to put the total and sign the merchant receipt. Many times while I am signing she holds the top of the receipt and pushes me to finish the signature. 3) The waitress forcefully insert the credit card into her card leader with a face full of hate. 4) One time the rude waitress hit my thumb with her sharp nails when she wanted to get the credit card from my hand. She really needs training how to receive the credit card from the customer. 5) One time she stand me up when I was sitting waiting to my food and she said you do not have to sit there, sit somewhere else. 6) One time my food was ready, but she did not inform me until I got a cold food. 7) She impolitely says bye in a bad way when I pay to push me to exit the restaurant. 8) The owner really loses his credit because of the rude manner of this girl, unless the girl is trained and changes her insulting attitudes.

I stopped by for lunch about 10 days ago and had a lunch special.Ate outside. The service was pleasant, though I had to remind the server about the bread. The food was quite good. Given the location, I was reluctant to give it a try, but Im glad I did. The meat was good and moist, properly cooked not burned as can be the case sometimes with kabob type cooking. The salad was quite fresh, a good sign. My son will be home from college this week, and I hope I can take him to try it. For dinner perhaps we might try filet ignon kabob or even lamb chops if we can get them medium rare. Ill be curious about the fish -- I suspect its farm raised. In sum, the proprietor seemed to take pride, and thats very nice. ADD: I have been there several times since. Except for one occasion where kabob chicken was overdone, each time has been terrific. Had a selection of appetizers. First rate! and, my guest and I chanced to try the chocolate cake -- we split it --and it was, to our surprise, excellent. (Usually Persian restaurants dont have chocolate cake.) Dont let the location deceive you -- this is a quality place with a personal touch. A few months ago my son was home from college and took my recommendation for him and a friend --and they were glad they went. They recommend the lamb chops.

One of them was very disappointing...it literally came with mint leaves still on the stalk, whole shallots (not cut up into pieces) 2 small radishes, walnuts and a slim slice of feta cheese. We had to cut up the mint and shallots for us to even enjoy. My daughter ordered saffron rice, which was under cooked and hard. My husband had lamb shank and I had lubia polo (basmati rice, green beans, tomato with shredded filet mignon). It was all great.
