Hey! This place is amazing. The atmosphere, the team, the food. 11/10 They have a huge menu options, but my favorite meal is a chicken tikka masala with almonds Also we never miss a chance to get a glass (or a bottle ) of a good wine. Btw the wine has a fair price, which is rare in LA. As we live around the corner, it s a bless to have such a cozy place nearby. P.S. Thanks to all the team for your positive energy and great job! See you soon

Was surprised that they don t have beef in their menu. Chicken tikka masala was good though. Everything we ordered tasted good. Prices were fair -same as other Indian restaurants I ve eaten at. Server was nice and pleasant. The manager was also friendly and took the time to converse with us a bit. Made us feel welcome being first time customers. Would come back to this place.

Anarbargh is one of the best Indian restaurants in Los Angeles. The food is beyond delicious, and the quality of the ingredients truly stands out. What really sets this restaurant apart, though, is the exceptional staff and hospitality. Our go-to server, Shahan, always takes such great care of us, making us feel genuinely appreciated whether we re dining in or getting takeout. It s a must-visit!

Best Indian food I had for a long time. The mango sauce curry chicken was so delicious and the rice was well done this like our favorite place to go to where we want to do like an outing with the rest of the family. I really love how the staff was very respectful of our allergies issues. It was very patient with my daughter I appreciate that.

Food and ambiance are good. Price was high compared to quantity of food. Parking available behind in the alley. Service is good. Recommend the Karahi Panner and Mixed veg biriyani! Parking: Go behind in the alley and there is dedicated spots. Maybe around 10 spots. Metered parking in front in Ventura blvd.

We love the food and ambiance in this restaurant but I am writing this review to bring up an issue for their management. It is very unprofessional to have 11:00 am as their opening time for lunch and then refuse customers who drove there at 11:10 am and tell them that you have to come back in 30 minutes!!!! Change your opening time to 11:30 if you don t let customers in. They said we just opened, come back in 30 minutes !!!!!!!!!! So weird .

Not satisfied with the money we spend here. We LOVE the BH location, but cant always make the drive, so we have it delivered. Consistently find this location s food under seasoned and not as good as the other locations. Still good, but always leaves us wishing we had just made the drive.

I really wish I could give 5 stars here. The food is exceptional (usually), and thats what brings me back to this place. But I tried some new dishes and I wasnt thrilled. Id like to thank our server, who was very helpful regarding the strange parking situation. Parking in front used to be normal, but now the city redesigned the street. I would highly suggest parking in their back lot. Lets talk about food. They always deliver on high-quality food, but I asked for hot, and it was clarified, spicy, not temperature hot. Ive tasted spicy hot from here. Nothing I ordered was spicy hot . Our chicken vindaloo had a great curry, but the chicken itself was dry as bones. Also, we made it very clear it was a table for 4, and they gave us 3 menus. And even after our fourth was done reparking, no 4th menu. To end it all off, we wanted boxes to go... and had to ask for more containers three times. I worked as a server for a bit, Im pretty sure you know how many boxes it takes.... lol. Great ambiance. Great food. Front of house = bad. Parking: Dont park in the front, there is free parking in the back and you can use their neighboring lots as well.

I ordered take-out for lunch this afternoon - chicken biryani and gobi manchurian - and the food was extremely bad! Biryani was literally steamed rice mixed with a load of oil and a spoon or two of random spices and bland, steamed chicken pieces placed on top of it. The Gobi Manchurian, too, was unappetizing! I was utterly disappointed; this was an absolute waste of money. I DO NOT recommend this place!

Again based on my personal experience. Super friendly staff. And food is fantastic. Always consistent. Excellent food and service. To go or dine in. To go orders are very well packaged. They are very friendly and generous. I used to go to another place next door. But since I discovered this exact Anarbargh I don t go anywhere else to get my Indian food fix. Everything and anything I ordered has always been spot on. Usually go to s arechicken tikka masala, shrimp tikka masala, shrimp tandoori, fish tandoori, sag paneer, paneer tandoori, shrimp biryani and few other things. I always different stuff too. And never had anything I didn t love!

Despite our introverted and shy nature, he fostered a comfortable atmosphere, ensuring we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Anarbagh has gone downhill quite a bit (and I am a 20+ yr customer). Today I ordered lunch to go and they forgot a key item. Worse, the food was the worst Indian food Ive had. The Saag Daal had gone bad and was sour. Because I care about this place as a long-time patron, I actually went back with the food. This is where it gets worse. I asked for manager and it is clear that they dont have any clear responsibilities. Two different people asked me what I wanted and that they could help me and when I told them, they walked away. Finally a third person called Rajom came and advised me that the manager wasnt in. I told him the problem and he did not make it right. Because this was a delivery order, he asked me to call them for a refund. I told him this was a restaurant issue and not theirs. He then said he can give me the same order now, and I told him the occasion had passed but he was welcome to do something else. He had no other option. The amazing thing is he didnt even apologize for the bad order and food, even after I told him I was a long-time customer. There was absolutely no empathy whatsoever. There were a number of options he could have offered, but he didnt. He didnt even ask me my name or phone number to have someone call me back. He could have also offered a free meal the next time since I didnt need it this time. Missing items, bad food and terrible service. That sums it up. Theyve lost a good customer today.

I am giving this place 5 bc they are by far the most well rounded restaurant I ve been to in awhile. Their food is tasty, their service is by far the best I ve received in an Indian restaurant. I moved from FL to CA just recently and wanted to try this place out. I am glad, this place has such a high bar for service and quality of Indian food. Things that stood out to me: since the moment we sat down, they were very attentive. They made us feel welcome. My water was never less than half full (HUGE PLUS) they listened to our order and got it correct! My wife ordered kulfi but forgot to mention she s allergic to nuts and they brought us pistachio kulfi which they let me but also gave my wife mango kulfi (on the house) which really earned them few stars! The last star was earned when they noticed we didn t use the plastic bag to pack our food, their server brought us a brown paper bag to put our left over containers in. This goes beyond what we expect as customers and earned them their 5th star. Keep doing an amazing job guys! You ve earned a loyal customer from here on out!

I hate to leave a negative review, but I have to say this was the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. A few reasons for this: 1. The saag paneer was watery with zero flavor. If anything, it had a dirt taste and I ended up throwing it out after 2 bites. 2. If I was a betting man, Id wager the eggplant bharta was eggplant-free. Definitely not as described on the menu, and again, very watery and devoid of flavor. I suspect they made a mistake and gave me daal instead, but the receipt showed it should have been eggplant bharta. 3. I asked for medium level of spiciness, but it was not even remotely spicy. Flaming Hot Cheetos is 1,000x spicier than this food. 4. The garlic naan was perhaps the best thing, but thats not saying much as it did not have any ghee/butter on it to help with flavor and keep the basil and garlic on it. Its time to step up your game, guys. Suffice to say, I wont be back.

I have eaten here 3 times and every time has been excellent. Curry is one of my favorite foods and this place is as authentic as I have ever had. Consistent and delicious with fair prices and excellent, friendly service. Order hot or extra hot with caution as these spice levels are not for beginners and Anarbagh means it when they say hot (a good thing in my book!). Parking: Behind the building

I love food that s consistent, made to order and fresh. This place does all that very well. I really enjoy their tandoori dishes that come out on a sizzling plate with grilled onions. Lunch is a great option as the prices are much better. You won t be disappointed.

I really like this place food is great but tonight I order some baklava to go and if you look at the picture that s not what the order should look like those are the pieces they give you at the end as a courtesy not the order itself for $3.95

This used to be my go-to Indian restaurant. That has changed after I discovered Cinnamon Indian Cuisine in Hollywood. The food is comparable if not better there. The service is much better at Cinnamon. They will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Not so much at Anarbagh. Also, the other Anarbagh locations throughout the LA metro dont seem to measure up to Woodland Hills.

I have been going to Anarbagh for probably 15 years, maybe longer. And I have always loved the flavors. All their dishes are GREAT! If I had to make a complaint, it would be that I only wish the serving sizes were larger for the prices charged.

We visited for a lunch on a weekday. It was not so crowded. The food was served in 10 mins after ordering. I chose medium level spice level for my food. To my horror I got the food( butter chicken , butter paneer) in deep red color ,started burning my tongue. The intense color was due to red chili powder, probably a whole pack. Rest of the food was good. If I visit this place again, I will never dare to alter the spice level .

The food was amazing and the restaurant itself is so so lovely. The 5g tower directly in front of the business is rather sad for me.. I feel absolutely awful when I m anywhere near those things. Heart palpitations, extreme vertigo and insane pressure in my head/brain feels hot. It scares me :( I can t go anywhere those things are that close by :( sucks the people have no say in the kind of pollution the city forces on us

Beriyani isnt a real one! I was surprised! It seems like like the tandoori chicken was cooked separately from the rice, then it was mixed before it was packed to go! I am disappointed big time, I paid almost $18 for a FAKE BERIYANI.....It is supposed to be cooked in a big pot with the rice, chicken and the other ingredients... I prefer to eat from the Anarbagh at Westlake...

Everything is cooked fresh with high quality ingredients. We had lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, the appetizer sampler with onion pakora, samosa and all the delicious things. Sauces are off the hook!!++++ Buy the sauce aampler, naan or garlic naan, pompadam and a mango lysee - thank me later!! For vegetarians, their menus is FULL of ridiculously delicious options loaded with spices and whole food ingredients. A must try.
