Stunning indoor/outdoor restaurant, bar and events space with a Coastal Mediterranean influence. Casaléna aims to take diners on a culinary journey along the coasts of Italy, Spain and the surrounding Mediterranean regions while utilizing California’s best seasonal produce and highest-quality ingredients.
At Casaléna, our goal is to establish a refined dining ambiance. The attire of our guests has the power to enhance or detract from the experience of others. We deem tank tops, flip flops, and team athletic attire as overly casual for our establishments. Our staff maintains a standard of appearance they take pride in, and we kindly request our guests to adhere to our attire guidelines.
I love Casaléna for lunch if you’re around Woodland Hills, and it was great going with a group because we were able to share many dishes family-style. It’s very trendy both inside and on the outdoor patio, with a variety of very cool chandelier light fixtures inside and a mostly-covered patio (although bits of sun do shine through). Now that the weather is getting cooler, outdoor dining at Casalena is the way to go. Lucky, even as a group of 8, they were able to accommodate us without a reservation with a minimal wait time. We were also able to easily find street parking nearby.
Seven Must Order Dishes if you’re sharing:
1. We loved the Hamachi Crudo ($23) so much that we ordered two! It came with ponzu, serrano, and topped with crispy leek, and was a good combination of refreshing and a spice-kick with the pepper.
2. From the Lunch Specials Menu, we loved the refreshing summer Cucumber Watermelon Salad ($18) even though it’s fall. It also has lemon, feta cheese, passionfruit vinaigrette, and basil oil, and the passion fruit wasn’t as strong as I was expecting.
3. The Whipped Eggplant ($16) under the To Share section of the menu is vegan and comes with pickled pepper, pan de cristal, & olive oil, and it was so creamy and delicious.
4. The meatballs, also under the To Share section of the menu, were a crowd favorite. The Wagyu Meatballs come with ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, a significant amount of pomodoro sauce, and topped with parsley.
5. For Mains, the Butterflied Half Branzino ($29) is gluten free and comes with chimichurri & grilled lemon. The Branzino was great, especially with the chimichurri sauce, being perfectly crispy on the outside and soft meaty on the inside.
6. Another Main, the Steak Frites ($29) actually went really well with the chimichurri sauce leftover from the branzino! A hanger steak, I recommend it cooked medium or medium rare, and it comes au poivre with a large quantity of French fries. If you’re not ordering the Branzino, make sure to ask for a side of chimichurri to go with your steak.
7. The Shashuka Verde is a good brunch option if you go in the morning. This was my first time having green Shashuka (green-over-red seems to be trending in LA?) and it was good to share alongside other items to avoid having too much acidity at once.
The group collectively agreed that the Limoncello Slice ($14) was the best and the Apple Tart ($14) is the second best dessert. I especially loved the sauce and fresh berries on the limoncello. The Tiramisu ($14) was too cakey and the least enjoyed by the table.
While there was a good presentation on the dessert themselves, no shared plates were brought to the table even though there were 8 of us with 3 desserts.
Beverage: For brunch, next time I’d like to try a coffee. The orange juice had a funny taste to it and I wasn’t able to force myself to finish it - I’d just skip that. It said it was fresh squeezed, maybe one of the oranges was on the older side? Or maybe it was a different type of orange than I’m accustomed to?
The very saucey Tuna Tartar ($23) was not my fav, and wouldn’t fall on my reorder list. It came with avocado, pickled ginger, cucumber, fresno, micro cilantro, ponzu, and togarashi crisp.

Casalena, which opened in June 2023, has quickly become a valuable addition to the community. The restaurant offers a menu rich with coastal Mediterranean flavors, providing a diverse array of options to choose from. They also feature rotating specials, which I was eager to try during my visit. I opted for the Chicken Piccata, served on top of mashed potatoes. We also got the Bianca Pizza to have as our appetizer. It’s thin crust and a bit dry in my opinion, I personally would have wanted more sauce but still very good.
The indoor ambiance of Casalena is my favorite thing about this place. The decor and overall vibe are delightful, with beautiful lighting that enhances the dining experience. I especially appreciated the small touch lamp on the table, allowing guests to adjust their own lighting.
While the menu is on the pricier side, making it less suitable for frequent visits, Casalena is an excellent choice for a date night, anniversary, or special occasion. Reservations are not required but are highly recommended, and can be easily made via Yelp or the restaurant's website. They also do events which you can inquire and get more information about.
Indoor and outdoor seating available. Street metered parking or you can use their valet.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The bread they bring you, as long as it's fresh and hot (we got one that was amazing and the 2nd one we ordered was stale and cold, should have sent it back but they were busy) is some of the best bread I've had at a restaurant! The meatballs appetizer is presented beautifully and the meatballs are moist, flavorful and definitely worth it! The branzino is amazing! The spaghetti allo scoglio was delicious with plenty of seafood! Their coffee is very good, where we were disappointed was dessert. The Sardinian donuts were heavy, raw inside and beyond disappointing. The batter is obviously too thick, I've had donuts in Sardinia, work on this recipe! Also, they should be served fresh fried and hot. The apple tart was also undercooked and doughy and was served cold. I took most of it home, baked it for another 15-18 minutes on 340 degrees and it was great. You can't underbake pastry, it's the worst. We will be back but not for dessert.

Amazing food and beautiful setting!
We looove love the hamachi and the charred octopus. The wagyu ragu pasta was amazing as well.
The tables were a little too close to each other and it was hard to have conversations. Noise level was quite loud but we love the space decoration a lot!

The meat was not terrible, and the same goes for the fries. However, the chicken parmigiana was disgusting and smelled very unappetizing. The broccoli was very chewy and hard. This place is just a mediocre restaurant; you'll get the same type of food anywhere. As for the service, it was good, but I couldn't pick my table even though the place was empty. But maybe that's the rule.

My wife and I somehow managed to escape the clutches of parenthood for a night, so we decided to seize the moment and have a date night at Casaléna. We’d been eyeing the place for a while, driving by it like, 'One day, we’ll be cool enough to go there.' Well, that day finally came. When we arrived, we quickly discovered that Casaléna believes in old-school charm—by that, I mean there’s no parking lot. Just the thrill of street parking on Ventura Boulevard or surrendering your car to the valet gods.
Once inside, the restaurant was stunning, with olive trees and trendy lamp décor that screamed, 'We’re fancy, but also laid-back.' There was a bar with sports games on, for those who like to pair their artisanal cocktails with a side of touchdowns. The service was top-notch, and our waiter was so friendly I half expected him to pull up a chair and join us.
I ordered the coconut pistachio-crusted salmon because, well, how could you not? We also got a Bianca pizza with feta and pistachios to share, because sharing is caring, and we’re trying to set a good example for the kids. The food was delicious, though the pizza was a bit dry, like it had gone to the beach and forgotten sunscreen. The ambiance was a mix of hipster vibes and that 'let’s all gather here to celebrate someone’s third cousin’s half-birthday' energy.
But of course, it wasn’t all perfect. The air conditioning seemed to be set to 'sauna,' which was awesome if you’re into sweating while you eat. And let’s not forget the parking—I ended up parking down the street because valet parking feels like admitting defeat.
All in all, I wouldn’t go out of my way to return to Casaléna unless I got roped into a friend’s or relative’s birthday celebration. There are definitely better options in Woodland Hills, especially ones where you can park without performing a parallel parking miracle.

Excellent food never disappointed. Adequate portions. Extremely poor service, served salad with the main entree, server acted like he was doing a favor when we made inquiries about the wines, inattentive. We had to go out of the way to get the sodas ordered and served. We brought a cake, it was left at the table until we flagged him down to get a knife. He couldn t let us cut it ( food regulation I get it) and charged $5.00 per cut. Though we ordered. Coffees and teas, I had to get up and go to the service area to ask that the beverages be served before we finished our desserts. Server never came around to ask for any refills. For the money you spend there, you would expect more. Slow service, but quick to pick up the bill and credit card.

Absolutely loved Casalena! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a Friday night out. Despite being super busy, the service was top-notch friendly and attentive. The staff gave excellent recommendations, and everything we tried was delicious! The food came out quickly, which was impressive given the crowd. Valet parking is available, but we found street parking nearby. The appetizers were a highlight, especially the wagyu beef balls, which were absolutely amazing! I ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Complete nuisance to the neighborhood. The valet parking has made the street unsafe. Obviously this restaurant does not care about the neighborhood. I was going to find here but after almost being hit more than 3x by the valet, I will be reporting them to the city.

Hands down, i ve never had a better experience at a restaurant. From the warm welcome the gentlemen at valet and the hostess Julia gave us, to the fond farewell the manager Laszlo left us with, the service was amazing. Our server Hailey went above and beyond. Jose, Charlie, and Luke were more than perfect. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant!

I dined here last night. It was my first time at this restaurant and I had nothing short of a wonderful experience. The food was delicious (I especially recommend the miso cod) and the service was excellent. Our waiter, Hailey, was very patient (we took forever figuring out what we wanted because we kept getting distracted by our conversation) and was great at keeping our water glasses refilled and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. At one point in the evening we were introduced to the manager of the restaurant, Tyler, who couldn t have been more helpful, friendly, and on top of things. All in all would highly recommend and I look forward to going back again soon!

We like the food here and we are a regular. Tonight we had an unpleasant experience because of the attitude of a waitress. My wife ordered one of the cocktails from the menu ($17) and asked for skinny (no sugar). The bill came and had a $24 charge with another item name on it. Told the waitress that this should be fixed ($7 extra charge) but she refused to fix it and said that in any restaurant you go skinny comes at an extra charge . That is just not true and it is unbelievable for a restaurant at this level to have such an inexperienced waitress with such an attitude.

This may sound a bit harsh but the restaurant is just a bit pretentious. The food is average at best. The service is a bit slow. I ordered a medium rare tenderloin steak but it came out medium. Its such a pitty for a restaurant that brags its steaks. I wouldnt say its a bad experience, but I just wouldnt return the restaurant neither recommend it.

They live up to the hype, forget Blvd Steak (who make you feel like they are doing you a favor). This is the latest place to dress up, been seen and pampered. The hosts greeted us joyfully and were very pleasant. The whole experience was exceptional from beginning to end, thanks to our very attractive and attentive Stephenie. The menu is well laid out with good selection of appetizers, pasta dish and main from steak to Patagonian toothfish (Chilean Seabass). This was our first visit and we only got through the appetizers, himachi, red beet humus, shrimp savichie, and strattidella. We didnt leave room for pasta or main. Everything was delicious and well prepared. However, the strattidella was supposed to have pistachios, but I couldnt find or taste any pistachios. The indoor restaurant was a little loud. One other thing the bother me the restaurant had two or three suits (floor walkers) that dont seem do anything and maybe the manager. I will go back to try the main and pasta dishes. Overall good experience.

Went there to treat my friend for her Birthday. We got there at 5pm. The lady at the front told us to wait for 45 mins to get a table. We checked the waiting list that they sent via text message. We were the only one on the list. 45mins later, we checked in with the lady as we noticed some people walking in was getting seated right away. The lady told us to wait for another 30 mins until the outdoor seating opens. After waiting for another 30 mins, we followed up again. She said to wait for another 15 mins. We finally got seated at 7pm. She made us wait sitting at the couch for hours when infact the outdoor seating has been opened for quite a while already. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It was recommended to me and I was extremely disappointed and humiliated with my friend whos celebrating her birthday. It was ruined by our experience. WAGYU MEATBALL was served COLD. how long has it been seating in your kitchen before you serve it?

I didnt want to love this place but I do. Now I have to wait to go back to CA to visit :( My husband and I went here for lunch. Just parked around the corner and walked a bit, wasnt bad at all. Our waiter was very friendly. The restaurant is beautiful and tasteful. I thought it was going to be pretentious from the reviews but I must have went at a good time. (We are very casual but sometimes want upscale food kind of people). Everyone was perfectly friendly. It is a pretty trendy place, so dressing on a casual nicer side would be best. Nothing stuffy but you know, just nice. (Business casual at least). We ordered the beef carpaccio, squash blossoms, branzino, sweet corn agnalotti and hazelnut chocolate cake and two drinks...some beer and Amalfi Blue. I usually order a lot more but I played it safe the first time. Everything we ordered was perfection, well I suppose except the chocolate cake. It just felt like a very cold afterthought...next time Ill just go somewhere else for dessert. My husband, (who usually doesnt finish everything cause he gets too full too soon) made sure to finish everything. He says he left feeling lite and satisfied. The food is more like a purist but elevated (if you will) type of food. This place lets the ingredients shine and Im all for it. There is nothing bad to say about it. I am extremely hard to please when Im dining at a (high end?) restaurant...so Im pretty amazed that the only two things I have to complain about was the mediocre cake and that there was no ice in the water...or that the water wasnt even luke cold. It was warm. (You can ask for ice, the people at the other table did). As for the food that we ordered? Again, perfection. We cant wait to go back. Maybe Ill go to lunch AND dinner since the menu adds a bit more. Im just worried about it not being as good as last time but thats stupid to worry about so soon. We left happy and satisfied...like how you should always feel after eating a fantastic meal.

Felt like a PF Changs. Went for my birthday but the restaurant acted like it was any other day for us. We originally wanted to sit outside but unfortunately it was 99 degrees so we requested inside on our reservation. I called to confirm and they told us for health reasons they wouldn t sit anyone outside. When we arrived we waited 15min after our reservation only to be told we would be seated outside. I politely said we were told we would be inside and it s my birthday so I d like to enjoy our evening. Ten minutes later they did seat us inside but it was very loud, we were rushed thru barely sitting at our table for just under an hour. That s with apps, mains and dessert. My favorite was the waiter telling us no rush when he handed off the check while eating my first bite of dessert. Our food was mid. Appetizers were the best: crudo, squash blossoms and the mussels which were on special. I had the corn agnolotti while my husband had the shrimp scampi. The pasta was delicious while the shrimp was overcooked and tasted like char. We ended with the pot de crème which we enjoyed but I ve had much better. Overall the place feels like a churn and burn assembly line.

This restaurant has a lovely date night ambiance, with charming decor and plenty of greenery. However, I was hoping for a more intimate, romantic dinner with my husband. The noise level was so high that it was difficult to hold a conversation, especially when sitting across from each other. It felt like we were dining at a bar rather than a cozy spot for two. On top of that, we were bitten by mosquitoes during dinner, and there wasn t an option to sit inside, which made the experience less enjoyable. My biggest disappointment was the $34 salmon. While it had a nice crust, it was under-seasoned, and the presentation was more about style than substance there was a lot more plate than food. On a positive note, the wagyu meatballs and wagyu pasta were both delicious! If you decide to visit, I d recommend going for lunch when it s quieter, with more seating options to suit your date needs, and some courses are better priced. The $8 valet service was a nice touch, though!

It can get really busy here, so try to secure reservations or waitlist. We got there right before they were switching from lunch to dinner and beat the dinner crowd. We decided to sit at the bar. Im giving the service a 3 only because the bar staff treated us more of an inconvenience. We werent even greeted with a hello, more of a what do you want? We had to ask for menus, more water, and grab their attention to order dinner. The food came out pretty quick, though. We got the waygu meatballs for starters, and they were fantastic. The Caesar salad and truffle pizza were a great duo. The pizzas are big enough to share between 2 or 3 people. Cocktails were nicely made. The crowd is pretty diverse, casual to fancy, old grumpy couples to young influencers. Its really beautiful inside with a light and airy ambiance. I def will be returning and try the branzino and whipped potatoes. Bathrooms were small but clean. There is valet parking or you can park in the nearby neighborhoods for free.

Saturday night. Second time here. Too busy. Too many tables in main dining room. Spent the evening with pissed off waiters banging into my chair or constantly asking me to jamb myself into our table for four. Would not let us sit at a decent table. Food ok, nothing special. Expensive for standard offerings. Feels like they are just trying to get more revenue from jamming more people in at the expense of an enjoyable experience. Could have gone to the Cheesecake Factory for a similar overcrowded experience for a better price.

Really amazing beautiful space, the food is all very good, the wait staff is friendly and efficient. The only negative would be the price, its a pretty expensive evening out.

Casalena in Woodland Hills is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The amiable and attentive staff makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. Now, lets talk about the food - its simply outstanding! The homemade pasta is a revelation, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. But the true star of the show is the pesto pasta. Its one of the best, if not THE best, pesto pasta Ive had in LA. The pesto is incredibly fresh and vibrant, and the homemade pasta provides the perfect canvas for its deliciousness. Whether youre planning a romantic dinner for two or a lively night out with friends, Casalena is the perfect choice. The exceptional food, an inviting atmosphere, and friendly service make it a destination you cant miss. I assure you, a visit to Casalena will be a memorable and delightful experience!

My dining experience was truly delightful. The atmosphere had an inviting and lively vibe that set the perfect mood. The view from the dining area was spectacular, enhancing the entire experience. The food was incredibly delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. The drinks were equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meal. It was an unforgettable evening filled with great tastes and a wonderful ambiance.

He has a great personality awesome smile, great vibe, great energy, 5 stars all the way for this restaurant and Vito. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and would 100% definitely come back and request him as our server.

Casalena is a great spot that punches well above its rating here. A gem of a place in Woodland Hills and the type of restaurant the area desperately needs more of. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out with wonderful ambiance, which is worth coming for alone. Service was very good, both our waiter and management were attentive to our needs. And the food was good too - squash blossoms were a particular favorite, as was our pizza. The perfect spot for date night - my wife and I can t wait to come back to try more of the menu. Don t sleep on this place.

Birthday mishap!! We went here for my mother in laws birthday. We ve been here before and the food is always great, service could use significant help. So went in with low expectations. However, tonight we were greeted with an exceptionally bad management experience. We marked that we needed a high chair on the reservations that I made days ago.. however we were told that someone didn t tell them a head of time and needed two, and had children much more younger than ours all 4 . Of their high chairs were taken (that s ridiculous for the size of this restaurant). Anyhow, like I said, bad service is to be expected.. however I tried their NY Strip and had to send it back as it was super chewy and overcooked. First time this has happened here but it seems to be trending in the not so great direction. If you do try this place, expect horrible service and you won t be let down. Cheers. Kid-friendliness: They only have 4 high chairs for the entire restaurant. Choose your timing wisely.

I recently attended a graduation lunch at Casalena with a group of about 10 people. It was supposed to be a celebratory meal, but it turned out to be a pretty disappointing experience, especially considering the hundreds of dollars that were spent. We ordered several appetizers like Caesar salad, fries, and broccolini, but none of them ever made it to our table. We ended up having to take them off the bill because by the time they acknowledged the mistake and offered to make the food, we were almost completely done with our meal. On top of that, our pasta orders got messed up multiple times. They even charged us for an extra pasta dish that we didnt even get. It took several tries and multiple receipt requests just to get it fixed. When we finally talked to someone about everything that went wrong, we barely got an apology and definitely no effort to make things right. No manager or anyone even bothered to come over and try to fix the problems we were having during our entire meal. Its not just about the money, although spending that much and having so many things go wrong is frustrating. It wouldve been nice if Casalena cared more about making sure their customers have a good experience instead of just saying sorry and doing nothing about it.

Solid 6/10 for salty food. 9/10 for service. $100 per person minimum, $75 per child. For an affluent California consumer base priding itself on environmental and social consciousness, the order minimums juxtaposed with the quality values of each menu item foster a culture of food and energy waste that kills Casalenas minimalist gourmet vibe. We over-ordered to satisfy the per-capita minimum, taking home multiple boxes and expanding the restaurants and our carbon footprints. If the food quality were improved to the level of the Flagstaff House, Herzog Winery, or French Laundry, Casalena could justify the $100/person ($75/child) policy because it could easily be reached without loading up on cocktails. But Casalénas flavours could just as well be mistaken for Olive Garden in a blindfolded test. Forgettably enjoyable food with an undeserving minimum and elegant lighting. Parking: $12 valet parking, no parking on street.

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Really great spot that Woodland Hills desperately needs more of. Beautiful setting, wonderful atmosphere, and our service was excellent - theyve clearly taken feedback to heart and management were on hand to check in and make sure our meal was going well, but our server already had it in hand. The food is good - its not mind-blowing, but thats not what we expected and its a step above what else is available in the area. Standouts for us were the squash blossoms and chocolate pot de creme - both delicious. Price felt appropriate for the quality of the food, service, and surroundings. A perfect spot for date night - we cant wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Everything was fantastic. Food, cocktails, service and aesthetic! We really enjoyed everything However a huge drawback, there are zero changing tables in any of the bathrooms and we were advised by staff to change our baby on the sink countertop in the second floor bathroom - no safety straps, curved edges to help prevent rolling, etc. Seems like an easy thing to fail to provide when it s a one time overhead cost. As young parents who still want to enjoy restaurants, this was disappointing.

Yesterday, we went to celebrate my daughter s birthday. When we did the reservation we already mentioned that we are there to celebrate a birthday. After we ate the server asked us if we want a desert, we said no but we are here to celebrate a birthday, we thought it s complimentary birthday as any other restaurant. The server said I know and he brought the bill, we paid and we were still waiting for the cake to celebrate my daughter s birthday, the server disappeared. We decided to leave and I asked him why didn t he bring the cake he said you said you don t want a desert and he was very rude. But we told him we are here to celebrate a birthday, he said it s not for free, why didn t he told us, he was very rude and he ruined my night and I will never go there again.

Went there for lunch and had a great experience with delicious food. Hamachi appetizer and whipped burrata starter were both excellent. I had the Italian sandwich and my wife a corn pasta dish. Both were great and we split an amazing kale salad. Topped off with the house made donuts for a sweet finish. Would definitely like to go back to try other dishes and the dinner menu. No reasonable parking so you practically have to valet

The meat was not terrible, and the same goes for the fries. However, the chicken parmigiana was disgusting and smelled very unappetizing. The broccoli was very chewy and hard. This place is just a mediocre restaurant; youll get the same type of food anywhere. As for the service, it was good, but I couldnt pick my table even though the place was empty. They put us outside in a small table next to the family with kids. The 5 year old was sitting between my seat and his seat. I was very uncomfortable. We waited 20 minutes to order the food. After we ordered the food was served in 5 minutes. The food was horrible it was very cold and low quality .

Xmas eve dinner. It was noisy and cold. After waiting 90 minutes for our entree, we requested to be moved closer to the fire. They obliged and finally served our entree course (the party next to us were seated after us and had ordered, eaten, partied and left by then). The food was just okay. But for the price not at all acceptable! They then added a table fee and a 20% service fee to the bill (for a party of two). Left feeling like we had totally just been ripped off. The worst holiday meal experience ever! Never again.

So, picture this: Youre checking in for your reservation at Casalena after a long day, ready to unwind with some good food. But youre hit with the news that the kitchen is about to clock out. Talk about timing, right? But hold up, its not all bad news. Our server swoops in like a culinary superhero, assuring us that while savory dishes are taking their final bow, the bar and dessert are here for the long haul. Crisis averted! Now, lets talk food. Our server, Tsion, bless her heart, drops some serious wisdom on us. I go for the Vodka Lumaconi and Branzino combo, totally riding on her coattails. And man, was that a good call! Every bite was like a flavor explosion. My buddy, on the other hand, goes rogue with the Wagyu Tagliatelle. Not bad, but after a taste of my pasta, hes wishing hed listened to our server s gospel truth from the get-go. Lesson learned, folks. But wait, theres more. Dessert time rolls around, and were not messing around. We let our server take the wheel, and she delivers the goods with a Hazelnut Chocolate Cake thats straight-up divine. In the end, what truly sets Casalena apart isnt just the delicious food its the exceptional service and the captivating ambiance. From the moment we walked in, Tsion made us feel like VIPs, ensuring that despite the kitchens closing time, we were taken care of with impeccable attention to detail. With service like this, you cant help but feel like youre part of the fam. So next time youre in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and swing by. Trust me, you wont regret it.

I m very upset with how Casaléna has handled this situation. My car was damaged by the valet company they hired and I was left to go back and forth with valet for 1 month now instead of the restaurant upholding a higher standard and them dealing with who THEY employ. I was told I was going to reimbursed but haven t been and it s been 3 weeks since we agreed to that. With the amount of money my family and I spent at Casaléna you would think they would care about how they deal with issues that come up. Super frustrating experience, don t use their valet! Parking: Do not use their valet. If you do check your WHOLE car to make sure they didn t damage it like they did mine.

I came here for dinner for a friends birthday, and the atmosphere was rather nice. Its scenic on the inside as if the outer world did not exist, now on that not I didnt really catch a homie environmental vibe, but that could just be where we were seated, but like I said the patio seating was quite nice and refreshing. As for the food, I ordered the pesto rigatoni and tried a bit of the wagyu meatballs. The pesto was quite nice, it was creamy and yet still preserved the slight crunch of the breadcrumbs, the pine nuts also gave that nice mature flavor profile but its nothing I cant make at home. On the other hand I have a very delicate relationship with wagyu meat as a whole, but for the density it has it was still soft as wagyu would be but had the flavor profile of chef boyardee, I was a bit disappointed that a $2 can would replicate an $18 plate.

The manager/sommelier, Lazlo, had a vast knowledge of different wines for different pallets, and of course kudos to Chef Lobo for delivering the perfect meal. The atmosphere was lively without being obnoxious and we left full and completely satisfied. We will certainly be back soon!

I was excited to try this restaurant as I heard it was a nice place. However, my experience was mediocre. The service staff is very friendly and accommodating but they were tasked with too many tables and therefore it took way to long to get our meal and when it did come many of the dishes were cold and the taste of the food was underwhelming. What was supposed to be a special day turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences I ve ever had. The hostess seated us quickly as soon as we arrived, and said a server would be right over. It wasn t until 15 minutes later that our server finally arrived at our table to offer water, cocktails, and appetizers. She didn t apologize for the wait or acknowledge that we had been sitting for a long time. We both ordered a cocktail, and the waygu meatballs to share. The cocktails came out quickly and were delicious! However, the waygu meatballs were not only underwhelming but also undercooked. While we waited for our server to come back around to show her this, our entrees were brought out by a chef who had zero enthusiasm or people skills. She looked at the dirty plates in front of us with raw food and shoved them out of the way to make room for our entrees. I ordered the steak frites cooked medium and my boyfriend ordered the burger with truffle fries. My steak came out almost rare, and my boyfriends burger didn t have the truffle fries. We flagged down our server to let her know of the raw meatballs and the undercooked steak. She offered to have the steak remade, and during that time she came back to the table to advise us that the meatballs were not raw, they cook them fully and keep them hot for service. This was absolutely appalling to hear, because those meatballs were 100% raw in the middle and we felt as if the server and chefs were not concerned by this. My steak finally came back out and was worse than the first time. It was completely rare and inedible, and at this point my appetite was just gone. We both work in the industry, and have never done so but we had to ask for a manager. The manager was very kind, however appeared overwhelmed as we saw here visit lots of tables to do recoveries for issues. She apologized for our experience and advised us to come back in a few months as it is only up from here. Strange thing to say to guests that were just served raw food and there was no regard at all. Worst part of it all, this was our anniversary and not one person acknowledged that until after we mentioned it. The manager comped the steak, rightfully so as I did not eat it. But for this being the worst experience I ve ever had at a restaurant, I felt more should have been done to recover the experience. Now it s the next day, and my boyfriend and I both have food poisoning from those fully cooked meatballs. Save your time and money, go elsewhere.

Oh, I highly recommend this place! The vibe, food, and service were impeccable! Food/Drinks: We came here for lunch in the middle of the week. I had their crispy chicken sandwich and it was well prepared. The chicken was not tough/dry and was fried perfectly. I paired it with a mimosa, which came in a rather large champagne glass. My friend had the vodka lumaconi, which was creamy with the pasta at a perfect slightly al dente texture. Service/Ambiance: Wonderful. They sat us outside given the weather and the vibe was just there, perfect for lunch. Our server was attentive, and he came at regular perfect intervals. Would definitely come here for just the vibe itself! Rating: 9.5/10 Recommendations: Crispy chicken sandwich for lunch, sitting outside!

I m greatly disappointed with this restaurant. It s within my area and I wanted to try this restaurant because it looks very unique. I made reservations at 8:30pm, So one night I took my girlfriend (we re both black) out to eat here and I never had this bad of service in my life. We were promptly seated on the patio, and so I m appreciative of the hostess that helped us that evening, on the other hand, the service was horrible. 30 mins into waiting, we didn t have anybody to approach us, meanwhile, the table next to us(table of 4), have been there waiting for an hour on their food (they had their drinks). Finally my girlfriend had to signal another waitress for us to get service and I actually had got up to walk to the bar and ask for WATER! A Hispanic couple who was seated 10 mins after us, was presented with a waiter, had drinks AND had their food within the 30 mins we were waiting for a waiter/waitress. We finally got the waitress, we quickly ordered our food/drinks because we were really about to get up and walk out. Even with that, we waited for the drinks as well and we were ignored with getting refills with WATER!!! Even the waitresses were confused and no one checked on us to see if we re okay. Finally got the food and it was well presented but it wasn t worth the wait, we didn t get service of any kind, only the bill was on time lol smh. I regret even coming here in the first place. I m never coming back ever again.

Had a great experience although it evolved into it as initially we had to wait even though we had reservations. This is a wonderful location and atmosphere is very nice. We began receiving apologies for the delay in getting seated but truly appreciated the efforts made to communicate to us and keep us informed. The 2 women at the front were very generous and professional in speaking with us and making arrangements to get us seated. When that happened, the service was great, food and drinks came quickly and served with attention and care. The staff was very friendly and offered wonderful suggestions in wine and dinner choices. We had the Branzino and Short Rib meals which were delicious and very tasteful. Having this satisfying meal, we decided on dessert. We ended the evening feeling very satisfied and with so many choices, we plan to return again to enjoy other items on the menu and the outside setting.

Not great from the moment we walked in the door. The two women at the desk were talking to each other. One of the hostesses said will be right with you but then Another party of three walk-through the door they immediately looked up, got their name and sat their party, then came back to us and when ee told them here for a surprise birthday party. They told us to let them know in half of our party gets there and there is a time stamp on the table once we sit, but we were not allowed to sit until we at least had five people for the surprise party arrived (There was 4 of the 9 at this point). Let me see again it was a surprise party. The table was empty, but they would not let us go to the back so the birthday girl wouldn t see us when she came through the door. When the fifth person arrived, we went back to the desk. She said they could seat us, again reminded us all the is only certain time allotted for the table. Then as we were being walked back, we were told for the THIRD time about a timestamp for the table but this time they literally said your time starts now . We were shocked. The rest of the party arrived, and it took about 15 minutes before we got our first round of drinks. Food was delicious but when the bill came, we had not hit our minimum of $900?? There was nine of us so that means there s a minimum of $100 per person? This was also new to me, and I dine out frequently. When you read about the restaurant, they imply they re service oriented, want to create a good vibe but from the second we walked in the door that was simply not the case. Unless you want to feel rushed the moment that you walk through the door to dine and have a minimum to pay for your dining experience, I truly would not suggest this restaurant!!!

An unforgettable first visit that promises many returns! The ambiance captivated us with its stunning interior and thoughtful design. Justin, our attentive waiter, made our dining experience even more enjoyable. While the tuna tarta was a tad dry for my taste, the stracciatella offered a unique twist on classic burrata. The Chilean Seabass stole the show a culinary masterpiece with perfectly cooked fish complemented by delectable truffled rice. My fiancé had lamb chops and said it melts in your mouth.

The restaurant had a charming ambiance and was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night. We were warmly greeted by the server who promptly took our drink orders. The drinks arrived promptly, and we were impressed by the attentive service. The food was delicious, but what stood out for me was the steak tartare. It was perfectly seasoned and had a wonderful texture. The dessert was also a highlight of our meal, leaving us with a sweet ending to our anniversary celebration. The only downside was the parking situation, as it was a bit tricky to find a spot. However, the restaurant conveniently offered valet service for just $8 right outside the door, which made it much more convenient for us. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider returning to this restaurant.

Worth every penny! Came here for a girls night and had the best time. We weren t aware of the garden area and were immediately impressed and in awe of the space. The heated lamps were perfect and we were quite comfortable and cozy outside. Tables are a bit close together so conversation can be awkward if they are filled. Our server was amazing and let us enjoy ourselves at our own pace where other restaurants would rush you to order. The wagyu meatballs were We both had the ribeye which was great.I don t eat greens but I did that night! Idk what they put in those greens but I absolutely loved them and that is a LOT coming from me. My steak did come out a bit more well than medium but the flavor was still good and we enjoyed the leftovers for breakfast the next day. The drinks were unique and well made. Dessert was a bit on the small side for sharing although very tasty. We had the pistachio bread pudding with lemon custard. I loved the postcard detail at the end. We contemplated coming back the next day but wanted to preserve our memory of a perfect night and not jinx it.

The French toast is amazing! Sweet, but amazing! The chicken sausage was kinda spicy, I liked it. The hash browns were 5 bucks tho... For that square. Whatever. My French toast came out way after my sides for whatever reason, but the staff was real apologetic which was cool. Not a big deal. You have to pay to park here, its 6 bucks for lunch and 8 for dinner if I remember correctly. If you use your card to pay for parking, the tip recommendation starts at something like 40% or something crazy like that, its kind of hilarious. I get it. Overall good experience. Might be a good date spot

Casalena has a great vibe. Decoration and atmosphere are really nice. However it took us a long time to be served. I have to add that the restaurant was busy too. Regarding the food I had an okay salad and my wifes chicken was hard to chew. The price is higher which is expected from such a restaurant. The waiter was nice and courteous. They have valet service but I didnt use it. You can find parking spots near the restaurant.
