It was my daughters birthday. The steaks are beyond amazing. If you havent been, its the best steak ever!! When its someones birthday, they put their name in the menu. The staff is amazing, and very accommodating. They have moved from their original location, just down the street. Its much bigger and very nice. Kid-friendliness: I was surprised to see a lot of kids at a fine dining place Wheelchair accessibility: Remodeled building so total wheel chair access.

I recently dined at Ruths Chris Steakhouse, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the steak cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I opted for the filet mignon, which was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth. The sides were equally impressive; the baked potato was fluffy, and the asparagus was perfectly seasoned. To complement the meal, I indulged in a superb glass of wine that elevated the entire dining experience. The wine list is extensive, featuring excellent selections that pair beautifully with the steaks. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance made for a perfect night out. If youre looking for a top-notch steakhouse, Ruths Chris is a must-visit!

Visited last night for a birthday dinner and service fell extremely flat. Our server was absent the majority of our meal (it was Monday aka slow) and we approached the manager two separate times yet service did not improve. In fact, after giving the manager feedback, it seemed that caused our server to stay away longer. Not once did our server acknowledge or apologize for his absence. They upgraded our dessert size as a remedy, which was the least they could do. The only redeeming quality of this place is their food.

**Google Review for Ruths Chris Steak House:** If youre looking for a fantastic date night spot, Ruths Chris Steak House is a perfect choice. I recently dined here and was thoroughly impressed, both by the atmosphere and the food. The ambiance is sophisticated yet inviting, with dim lighting and elegant decor that creates a romantic setting ideal for a memorable evening. I ordered the filet, and it was simply exquisite. Cooked to perfection, the steak arrived sizzling on a 500-degree plate, a signature touch that keeps the meat hot throughout the meal. The filet was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth with each bite. It was seasoned just right, enhancing the natural flavor of the beef without overpowering it. The sides, such as the creamy mashed potatoes and the perfectly sautΓ©ed spinach, complemented the steak wonderfully, rounding out a truly indulgent meal. What set this dining experience apart, however, was the impeccable service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive and welcoming. Our server was knowledgeable and passionate about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. They even went the extra mile to make sure our special requests were met, adding a personal touch to the evening. Overall, Ruths Chris Steak House delivered a fantastic dining experience, with outstanding food, a romantic atmosphere, and top-notch service. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a luxurious meal in a beautiful setting.

Help! To begin with, you have to shout to be heard, even with the people at your table, which cancels out the classy side of the decor. Afterwards, we are far from haute cuisine. Its a shame that the dishes are so greasy. Here is a summary of the dishes: Lobster bisque: very disappointing, bland and heavy. I couldnt finish it... Lobster mac & cheese: acceptable value for money for the US. The lobster is good, but the sauce is mostly cream-based and lacks cheese 6oz steak (rare) & shrimp: very good! Nothing to say Side of mashed potatoes: bland and extremely fatty Cheesecake: very sweet

There is no Steakhouse like this restaurant. As soon as you take the first bite of their steak you know you are experiencing something special. I had an 11 oz filet that was out of this world along with baked potato and asparagus hot bread and butter and to die for Chardonnay wine. If you ever go here ask for the waiter Marty because he is absolutely excellent we have followed him for Maggianos to this restaurant and it was totally worth it

We just went for happy hour and were very happy with the drinks and food. We really enjoyed the nicely refreshing blueberry mojitos along with the seared ahi and spicy shrimp. My only wish is that their HH menu could use a few more options such as 2-3 more salad/vegetable selections. Service was just right and it was a cool atmosphere good for conversation!!

Im hoping it was an off Saturday night. We didnt even realize they had moved. The old location, to us, felt more like a cozy, upscale old-school steak house (think Sinatra). The atmosphere at the new location is fine; very nice, nothing special. The food was on-point as always -- everything was very good. The issue -- the big issue -- was the absolutely awful service. Do I expect a little better service than a BJs or Olive Garden? Umm, for $400 for three people, YES, I do. Our server was obviously overextended. It didnt seem to be his fault, but all our interactions were very hurried. The food runner brought our entrees and that was the last interaction we had with anyone for a while. At the beginning of the night I had told the waiter I was going to order a glass of wine with the food. Had to flag him down for that. He never even did the obligatory, Hows the food? Can I get you anything else? Nope. No follow up at all. Not even a water refill. Our water and wine glasses were empty shortly after receiving our food and never refilled. At the end of the meal, just before getting the check, we asked if we could please have more water (forget about more wine). The waiter then said to me, Your dinner came with a desert... do want that to-go, or...? I think he could tell wed had enough. He never bothered to ask if anyone else wanted desert, coffee, or anything. We felt like we were inconveniencing him, and Im sorry but for $400 with tip, I expect more. I can make a really good steak at home (yes, Ruths can make a better one). Im willing to spend that much money on a special occasion for great service and an experience we cant get at home. Weve always loved Ruths; its been our gold-standard for steakhouses. Again, the food was great, but Im sure the next time it comes up everyones going to say Lets try someplace else. Dont think Ill want to roll the dice again anytime soon.

If I hadn t mentioned to the manager who stopped by during the end of our dinner if they were aware of our special day he did not know. He asked the server who did not know either. We were rushed the entire time we were there. I can tell you with experience these things do not happen at Morton s or Maestro s!

Great atmosphere and beautiful interior design. The location was once TGI Friday other than the water fountain and bar you would never had known. There is causal dining near the Bar with large TVs to watch sports or upscale dining area for that special celebration with your love one. Compared to the previous location the seating at this location is much closer in their upscale section than I remember here in Los Angeles or in New Orleans. But overall the Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Wheelchair accessibility: Main doors and path to tables very spacious. I would notify the reservation that you will need more room because the tables on the East side of the restaurant are fairly close together.

I felt cheated and won t be back. The only reason we went was we got a gift card and honestly I hope people don t buy gift cards for anybody there. I m not happy with the Woodland Hills one and feel that they cheated us out of food. They do have a new location and it s pretty but honestly I m afraid to eat in there. If that s the kind of food I got taking home I don t like being cheated and that s what they did to us.

I dont know where to begin...I can honestly write a dissertation on how horrible of an experience we had today. My wife, son and I had a reservation at 9pm. We did arrive at the restaurant a little early (around 25 mins early) I knew we most likely would not get seated right away due to us being so early so we just checked in and sat in their little lobby area. After waiting about 10 mins the hostess called our name and showed us to our table. Water was promptly served with warm bread and soft butter and that is where all the positives of this dinner stopped. about 15 minutes went by and nobody, I mean nobody came to our table. 15 minutes after the bread was dropped off a nice young lady came up to us (im assuming she was the manager?) and asked if our server came to us or not and we told her no. She then tapped the gentlemen (bald guy with the long grey beard) who was serving the tables next to us to come and help us. He came over and said oh I guess Ill assist you guys today and took our drink orders and went to get our drinks. When he came back with the drinks he asked us if we were ready to order which we said yes and he picked up the menus and asked what we wanted. Normally, one opens up the menu to read off what you want but we really couldnt since he was holding on to them as if he was ready to jet away. So we ordered our food questioning each other to make sure it was right, because we didnt have a menu we could reference back to, and he wrote it down n went on his way. That was the last we saw of our waiter. First came out the salad followed by the entrees n we finished our meal. Not once did anyone come by and check to see how our food was. I actually had an empty soda glass sitting at the table for god knows how long because nobody came to check in on us. Our so called waiter came by about 5 minutes after we finished our meals and started to pick up the plates from the table. He picked up my wifes plate n then turned to the table next to us and went to clean up their table. Mind you the three of us at our table were completely done but for some reason he had to clean the other table first? He came back a few minutes later and finished clearing the empty plates from our table and asked about the included dessert in my wifes meal and before he was about to run away I had to ask if I could have a refill. I got my refill a few minutes later someone dropped off the creme brulee and 10 minutes later our bill was dropped off. We paid and we left. To sum it up...if you want the same experience as dining at a Buffalo Wild Wings while paying $100+ a head, this place will knock it out the park for you. If you want a fine dining experience pick one of the other fine dining steakhouses within a mile radius of this Ruths Chris.

My wife and I are retired and disabled. We recently went to Ruth Chris at Woodland Hills for happy hour. There were only two handicap spots in the valet area of their parking lot, they both were filled. We asked the valet if he would accommodate us and let us park in his area. He said no. So I dropped my wife off and went to find a parking spot. While my wife was waiting, she observed another elderly, disabled couple come looking for a handicap spot and they were also told by the valet that they had to go find parking elsewhere. Upon answering the establishment, we were met by a trio of young people working behind the host desk. They asked if we had a reservation & what time. We were bewildered by this question, as we did not feel that reservations would be needed for happy hour at any restaurant. We eventually left, upset over the snobbery they exhibited toward us, as one of the hostesses yelled us out the door. Apparently the employees at Ruth Chris restaurants think that theyre better than elderly, disabled folks. We have no intentions of ever going back there.

It wasn t the poor quality tuna that needed to be sent back or the undercooked steak that warrants the poor review. Nope, it s what took place after Given the experience I called and cordially resolved the visit with someone I thought to be a manager. I then left for a business trip for a month only to return and learn the issue hadn t been resolved. When I called to resolve a second time I was told I d get a call back. Never did. Called again and spoke with a manager that said that I actually hadn t spoken with anyone (even though my 11 minute call shown on my phone says different) and he would need to investigate . Called again and was told I d get a call back. Never did. Called again and even though someone was there to speak with, was wrung through the wringer with a kid that sounded like he was just being trained, and wasn t given the opportunity to speak with someone that could fix the issue. I found the experience with management to be wildly irresponsible, inappropriate, and fantastically disrespectful. Anyway issue never got resolved after my visit. If you have an issue, bring it up on the spot and resolve immediately because the cool indifference from those leading the teams at this specific location is something to behold. Other than that it s a Ruth s Chris. This location is still a work in progress, but maybe it ll be functional by the time you visit.

It is always a pleasure to visit Ruth Chris. My wife and I have been going for quite some time and we always have an amazing meal with excellent service. This time we went to check out the new location in Woodland Hills. A much better site in my opinion, especially since the Promenade where the old one was turned into a ghost town. The new digs are really nice, most notably the bar is much bigger and can accommodate larger groups. They also partitioned the space a bit more to cut down on the sound and added private rooms and areas for special events and parties. The food we had was excellent as always. I had the ribeye with a blue cheese crust and my wife had the petite filet mignon Oscar style (crabmeat and asparagus). Both steaks cooked to perfection. We also had THE best appetizer, Spicy Shrimp. Dont let the name fool you, its not that spicy, but I suppose that is subjective. Personally I would rate it a mild that anyone would enjoy. My one complaint is with the noise. When we were first given our table, the area we were in was very loud. Like a cafeteria loud. Tile floors, glass walls and a lower ceiling created a very loud room, a high pitched kind of loud. However they were very nice and got us a different table in a larger room with higher ceilings and carpeted floors. Our waiter said they were aware and plans were in place to fix the issue. Still, I was a little surprised they didnt factor that in when building the place. Besides that one issue, I like the new location and my wife and I intend to visit again soon.

Our server really knew her stuff as she recommended how to order our steaks preparation. This particular location will be closed. The new location will be just across from our office building. Cant wait to be able to enjoy this fine restaurant by just walking across the street. Yes, Ruths Chris is on the upper side of afforability. But quality is rarely cheap. Enjoy !! Parking: Since the Promenade Mall is closed, save for this restaurant, the parking was overly abundant.

BEWARE After dining at Ruth s Chris in Woodland Hills for years, it seems over time that their standards have changed. For instance, their staff used to be personable. But many have come and gone, and now the place is run by many young, inexperienced greeters and servers. I spend from $500 to $700 each time I visit. Yet, for sometime now, I don t feel valued as a customer. Just recently at my last visit, there was a party of 4 who were drinking and were loud and obnoxious all night, and the staff just allowed it. It was so bad that my company couldn t even hear me speak. I felt embarrassed. This particular location is closing at the end of the month. So I thought I d visit for old time sake. While my food was ok, the overall experience was very disappointing to the point that I will not frequent Ruth s Chris again. I blame ownership for such poor service. With all the revenue their chain of restaurants make, I can t think of any other reason to be constantly short staffed and to hire inexperienced employees other than greed. That s just my opinion.

My sister took me and my wife here to celebrate my late birthday dinner. I made reservation through OpenTable for today. The plaza where this restrauant is at is basically a ghost town because there only like 3 restrauant left here before they shut down. We arrived early so I checked in with the host and it took about 5ish minutes to be seated. The place is kind of outdated but we found out by our waiter that they will be moving to their new location within 6 days. Our waiter was Lars and he was amazing with us. My sister got her calamari and asked for the sauce to be on the side. My wife got the Sea Bass and asked for mushroom for her side. I went with the Bone In New York Steam and got fries on the side. They told me that the Bone in New York Steak come with a special knife so I get to choose which one I wanted. My sister friend got their Filet Mignon and shrimp. All of our food was delicious and I liked the seasoning on my NY steak. I would highly recommend coming here after they moved to their new location. My score: Food: 5 star, you cannot go wrong with any steak here and their seafood options are amazing. Service: 5 star, the customer service here are amazing as well since its a luxury restaurant. All of the waiters are nice and will be attentive to your table. Parking: 5 star, you will not have any issues finding parking here since there only 3 restrauant left and everything else is closed. Atmosphere: 4 star, the place is outdated which is why they are finally moving to their new location. Vegetarian options: They have salad options here. Busy happy hour. Get there at 4pm or you have to wait a long while until someone leaves. Put your name on the waiting list at the bar.

The food was excellence but the service was pathetic. Ate at the bar and had to constantly ask for something instead of the bartenders checking on my colleague and I. Instead they were chit chatting amongst themselves all night. My colleague had ordered a glass of wine and after he finished along with his glass of water at no time did the staff ask him he wanted another glass of wine or water. Myself on the other hand bugged them. I have ate here at this location MANY times before and have always had impeccable service. Hoping this was a one time incident.

Enjoyed a birthday celebration. Everything was perfect. The Ribeye is always tender and practically melts in your mouth. Ive never had any dish not taste well. Parking: Its open at this time. They are moving location. Kid-friendliness: Weve taken a child before and it was fine, but its not really a kid place. Wheelchair accessibility: There is parking and the walkway slants for wheelchair access.

Not recommended for the price. Compared to Korea, the price per gram is not expensive, but in the United States, this price is almost possible. A 16 ounce rib eye costs about $80.

This used to be my go to place for upscale dining. The treatment and atmosphere justified the high prices. I recently went there and I have to say I was highly disappointed to the point I wont be back. The staff was very inattentive and unfriendly. For starters, we were 2. They took ups to a nice table for 4 and cleared the table, leaving 2 old waters with no ice and 2 plates. No settings, No cold water. It took quite a while to get someones attention to even bring us settings. From there we never felt less special, which is the main reason you go to these over-priced eateries. The food was good except one potato had a giant inedible eye in it and the other was smaller than the 8 oz filet. When you go there you expect the best, instead we didnt even get the minimum. I am disappointed to have to cross this restaurant off my list of places I love. If you are going to charge premium prices, you have to give premium service. They failed. I know know Dearden (Olive garden) bought them in May. Maybe that is why the change or maybe it is just good old poor management not watching what is going on. I am saying goodbye to Ruth Chris.

This was the third location I have been to and all three locations are just as amazing as the other! Our waitress was attentive, gave great menu suggestions, and made sure we were satisfied. This was the closest location to Oxnard but we made that drive and it was well worth it. I ordered the T-bone steak and ate it all! No sauce needed! The chef had me licking the bone clean. The stuffed mushrooms and spicy shrimp are also great appetizers to order. We will visit again.

I wish I can give it more than five stars. Definitely it will be back before the next New Year s. Looking forward to the new location on Canoga. Sal

Ehh...its ok. Service was great, as always, but the food was just ok. Been here several times, and unfortunately, its a little inconsistent, and this wasnt their best work. My buddys New York, ordered medium rare, was pretty much raw, and they tried to fix it, but you know that NEVER goes well. The Calamari was mushy and chewy (who cooks fried calamri in a sauce???) And no marinera sauce available. The Creme Brulee was cold, with the burnt sugar topping done earlier and the item refrigerated, when it SHOULD be burned before its served so its hot and yummy. For the price I should be able to expect more. On the positive, corkage fee is reasonable, unlike Mastros and Mortons, which is $50 and a deal breaker.
