The store is always very calm (at least when I go) it's very clean and organized. The staff are I credibility helpful and friendly. Just a nice environment to shop in compared to the "other" options we have. I don't mind things being a little more expensive especially with my target red card and getting an additional 5% off almaot everything and the on going circle sales they have. 10/10 recommend

This store used to have amazing service. I've been using the drive up service for years, and spend about 1k a month there, mostly on baby food. Lately, they have been very rude at drive up. Additionally, they've been forgetting to bring out entire bags of stuff, and there's no way to reach anyone as they don't answer the phone. This requires a drive back to the store each time, and sometimes I can't get back there same day.
Today was the final straw. The person asked me to pull up in the fire lane while I was getting out of my car to attend to my crying baby. I told him the baby crying was stressing me out and he yelled at me to calm down. I thought it was more courteous to NOT bring crying baby into the store, but I guess I was rude for expecting them to bring the order out to the drive up spot.
If you don't want to offer drive up service, then don't.
I in no way deserve to be reprimanded by a store associate when in the middle of a stressful situation because they don't feel like walking the extra few feet.
The only reason I'm giving a second star is because they *used to be* nice.

Manager Mike and his associates do not follow the CT state law that requires an item with an incorrect price must be given for free up to a value of $20. I called corporate and they told the employees on speakerphone that they should not have kept me at the register for 45 minutes over this. Bill from the CT Office Of Consumer Protection stopped by at my request two days after my visit and Target still had not fixed the sign. He gave them two days to fix the price sign and I will be back to make sure they comply.

I went there to pick up an online order. I purchase the ninja power blender ultimate system. Great blender for making smoothies, ice cream, chopping and shredding, making spreads, etc. Just want to thank and give a big shout-out to Viv, Arianna and Ryan for providing excellent customer service and assisting me with my order.

I totally get that we are all short staffed and we’re running low on items, but this was out in the open in the produce, and I just bought raspberries that looked fine and at the bottom they’re covered in mold. They had 4 people checking inventory on kid shoes while this sat out…..Then I check out with over 100$ in items and no one says anything about bags. I say “do you have bags?” And he just says “no”. I loaded everything into my car without them. A warning would have been nice and I would of bought a reusable one.

The Target staff in Ansonia, CT makes it incredibly easy. They are safe, courteous, thorough, fast, cheerful, and accurate. They check the order contents and then encourage me to check the contents. Fantastic experience.

I m editing my original review. There are never, ANY PEOPLE on registers. People with full carts are forced to go to self check out. We don t work for target, and there isn t enough space in that tiny section to do that. This is ridiculous. On top of giving target our money we all have to do the labor to take it home. What a joke. It s Saturday and there are only 2 people on registers. It is always like this and so we are forced to ring out and bag full carts of groceries etc. I find that the attitudes of the customer service desk is also really negative as if you re bothering them by asking for help. Sometimes they are very friendly but it s a coin toss for what you re going to get. Honestly, they probably don t get paid enough and I would be miserable too

I returned $10 markers and only got $2.65 back on my card because I used Target Circle Earnings on my purchase. So even though I spent like $20 that trip, Target only applied the Target Circle earnings I used to the markers, because I returned them. Such a money grab and a scam. I m thinking twice about everything I purchase at Target now. Also, the associate didn t even tell me this when I was doing the return. I found out when only $2.65 was returned on my card.

I usually never have an issue at this Target and have been going for years but after today I question if I ll continue to go to this location. The girl at self checkout with hot pink and black hair looked at our flashing register multiple times and just walked away and got on our phone leaving us there with no help, grabbed our items and went to the guest services counter instead and only when she finally noticed the flashing abandoned register did she actually care calling over other workers to look at it.

Decent target store. Cart guy (Old Man with grey hair) was extremely rude because I didn t grab the cart he felt was appropriate and yelled at me telling me to take another cart. I don t like public altercations, I walked away. Secondly, I know target customer service values and that s not it. Hopefully he wakes up tomorrow and likes his job again.

Target is a great place to get things at a more affordable price point but it suffers greatly in certain areas. The online ordering is completely broken. Ive ordered items then been made to wait up to 3 hours after the listed time, only for them to sell out or my item as Im waiting. There are never enough registers, sometimes only one on a busy afternoon. Employees vary, some being super friendly and helpful, and some being too busy chatting with other coworkers to even do their jobs. But more often than not the employees you come into contact with are pleasant and helpful. I come here often to buy school supplies games and house supplies, and thats where target shines in my book. But overall, its a mixed experience.

Me and my family just came from shopping at Target at around 6:45 on a Thursday. While walking around there was a group of six approximately 13 year old boys walking around very loudly. One without a shirt on. They walked in a group through the Electronics department which I assume got the attention of security because I saw a woman security guard appear keeping her distance but watching them. Good. Shell kick them out if theyre up to no good. Nope. I was wrong. My wife witnessed them pop the keys off keyboards in the gaming section, nobody said or did nothing. A few minutes later we were in the grocery section. The group appeared at the end of the aisle, loud and goofing around. I saw one lift up a watermelon. It was clear what was about to happen. I walked towards them and they all quickly vacated the pet aisle. Sure enough, the watermelon was smashed in the middle of the aisle, pieces of it everywhere. Since nobody else on your staff was clearly going to say anything, I chose to. They were dismissive saying it wasnt them. The one who was engaging us said yo, if it was me Id be running. The other members of the group realizing I was calling them out, trying desperately to get the attention of any Target store employee, the security guard now suspiciously nowhere to be found, anybody besides me, the customer trying to address the situation. Nope. Nobody cared. We tried to get the manager, but then the security guard appeared. Not to go after the kids who were just sitting outside the front door loitering, but to explain and I quote Im not allowed to follow them around the store. They didnt break anything when I was watching them. It was unreal. So I saw her watching them at one point, but she stopped following them to monitor their activity that was clearly going to be destructive not only to the store but to other shoppers experience. I was flabbergasted. If this is your corporate policy its a joke and well be taking our business anywhere. Im going to file this complaint with corporate too. Your store turning a blind eye to wanton destructiveness and instead of addressing and leaving it up to a customer to do so was absolutely shameful. Shame on you as a business.

When I got there the cashier told me it would be ready in a few mins (even though I had already gotten the email that said it was ready for pick up) After waiting about 45 mins I was told the order was canceled because the item was no longer in stock. A total waist of my time! Next time I ll go to Walmart instead, and probably save money too!!

I went into the store yesterday to pick up a few things, the clearance aisle for the girls section was really great, I was able to find a lot of nice things for my daughter. However the store was just a total mess, and it was really hard to find things. I also noticed when I went into the grocery section the melons were going really bad. And some of the veggies were over ripened. I m not sure if it was because I went in after 4pm ...The last time I went it was early in the morning and the store was fully stocked and well-maintained. Would ve given more stars if the place was cleaner!

I love the environment of target. It s so stylish and uplifting. As my mother and I were looking for a vacuum, a staff member was so helpful and even went to the back to find the vacuum we were looking for. Also, as we were checking out, the cashier was very friendly and made a conversation with us. Also, mom and I were shocked by how low the total came to for the dorm furniture and essentials.

If you are hispanic watch out because some of their staff will assume that you are there to change prices or steal. I just came from their store I bought some groceries and pay for them. Apart was going to pay for some eyeshadows for my daughter and as always the price did not match the label in the shelf. Their employee insinuated that I took the label in order to get it cheap. She even told me that she was going to see the video that was filmed. When I told her that was she was implying was wrong and that I wanted to see the video. 3 employees of the store came one of them security. This three were polite and try to fix the situation, but how can you fix an implication like that? It was very humiliating. Just because they did not do they job putting their prices correctly. I will never shop in Target again knowing that they discriminate because you are hispanic, even if you can pay whatever they sell.

I Have never really had the best experiences in this store. They are busy and understaffed. The new self checkout system is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. The fact that it requires an associate to take your money anyway defeats the point of self check out. Then only have 1 associate on a register. I tried to price match to Walmart for baby food pouches and the service desk associate said she couldnt because it wasnt coming up in her system. I showed her the walmart app which featured the in store and online price (.21$ difference) and she still said she couldnt change it. My cart full of items stayed there. Disappointed because I love target but arguing over .21$ seems petty.

The dirtiest establishment in Ansonia. Went there Sunday morning for the first time since I moved here 2 years ago. Trash all over the exterior entrance way, all trash pails over flowing, disgusting. Even the inside is disheveled. Never again.

I knew what I wanted, I found it with the help of employee Heather, who was incredibly kind and insightful. It was ultimately a pleasant experience.

I was shopping there yesterday, buy a lot grass bowl and dish, the cashier don t even help me put paper between the bowl, she s just too lazy for doing it That s the only things am complaining for But I still love this place

I live relatively close to Target and will never shop here again. Apparently they have some sign in bold letters clearly stating this product can only be exchanged for the same exact item. That item can not even be issued store credit either with the receipt...ridiculous!!! So I ask thr store manager to show me that sign. We walk all the way to the area and not one sign stating such. Still no credit issued back!!! Still state that is store policy and that it was there for three years haha haha yeah sure!!!! Horrible customer service Target/Natalie, Wal-Mart now has all of my business. Thanks
