accommodating. Market is a great place to meet many of your grocery, bakery, and card needs. It also has flowers, other srore items and a small cafe, where you can eat and enjoy. There are clean restrooms inside and the staff is very helpful in locating items. They did not currently have any whoopie pies, but it is still a great place.

After making last minute plans, I came up with the idea to call to see if I could order a party sub. The lady on the phone was extremely accommodating and friendly.

I was at the North Branford Big Y.
All the Employees I spoke to were beyond nice and helpful. It was a nice pleasant shopping experience. Including the wonderful man who checked me out. Even the Customers were friendly. I had a wonderful Shopping Time in N.B. Big Y. I Absolutely love that store. Everything was neat and clean Too. Love Big Y.

I usually go to the Big Y in Branford, but they didn't have something I wanted that was on sale (for one more day). So I went to the store in North Branford on Route 80. I haven't been there in a long time. What a great store! Much larger than Branford so therefore, much larger selection of items. Great gluten free section and items. I'm going to try to go here more often.

I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE STORE. MY ISSUE IS I GOT A 30" SUB I USUALLY GO TO NORTH HAVEN AND I WISH I DID. THE LADY MAKING IT DID NOT LISTEN TO A WORD I SAID HAD TO REPEAT MULTIPLE TIMES, SUCH AS NO CHEESE. THE BREAD WAS STALED. THERE WAS NO MEAT. I DONT EXPECT A SUB LIKE SOME OF THE COMPETITOR BUT I EXPECT TO BE THE SAME AS NORTH HAVEN, SHOULD HAVE MORE THEN 8 SLICES ON A 30". SUM IT UP I'LL STICK WITH NORTH HAVEN. YOU WANT A GOOD SANDWICH STAY AWAY FROM NORTH BRANFORD BIG Y.

I usually go to the Big Y in Branford, but they didn't have something I wanted that was on sale (for one more day). So I went to the store in North Branford on Route 80. Love the Sea Food Fish&Chips or the Pizza orders, Prices are great where else you gonna get a cheese party pizza for only $20 plus tax in this day and age. Even Half Bacon and onion it still was only $24.50 with tax.

Don't ever order any seafood to be pre-made for you at this Big y because they will put it through on the phone and then when you get there they will tell you that their seafood has been EXPIRED so not only do you not have food but they DID NOT call you to tell that so you waste a 15-minute drive along with gas and you don't have anything to eat. BTW THEY HAVE CALLER ID. They did absolutely nothing to remedy their screw up while I was there

In the deli department, employees should b instructed to “clean” the slicer if the previous meat was “messy”. When I got home, my ham had dark spots all over it. Very annoying to me. The employee also put the price tag over the plastic bag tab. I couldn’t get the meat out without ripping the plastic bag.

The Nicest Big Y around. This location is always clean and well stocked. Employees are kind and helpful. The best par of this place is the selection, as it is just stellar compared to many other grocery stores around.

After moving too a different town & shopping locally at a competitive store of Biy Y , let me just say it feels great too go a bit further too MY BIG Y ! Yesterday my Daughter and I went to Big Y for the
1st time and it was a big store there electric cart was kind of a disappointment it didn't stay full battery for very long I have a bad back and I cant stand or walk for very long and it died right outside the store I had to walk with the help of my daughter and a shopping cart to our car im the handicapped parking it wasn't that easy either someone parked in the blue handicapped lines for the vans to park next to its not a parking spot but they parked there anyways. I had to go around to get across to my car it wasn't easy to do. The store was big has a wide variety of things and foods deserts needs as well as other things hot foods etc. It was a refreshing change from always shopping at Walmart they don't have alot to offer to shop in that store. Next time we go if i can remember i will take pictures of some of the store to share.

ever since the app launched it's been a game changer. also the store is remodeled, pretty easy to get in and out. thanks to the app I can shop, use my own bags, skip the line and pay usually in 15 - 20 minutes.

Nice store but front end supervisor actually accuse customers of moving pricing on shelves when stockers put in wrong place. She coached associate refering to customers as they move price tags to get free item.

Nice place sad to see so many lines turn to self checkout, the deli needs to flip the salads more as they were so dry and nasty looking I refused to buy them and sad the cakes are not made fresh they are frozen

I definitely noticed the price of inflation, which is to be expected. Thankfully, Big Y is reasonably priced. So, the hit isn't as bad.

The seafood is of the highest quality. A bit pricey (king crab legs @ $60.00 a pound! Who buys this stuff?) but what you CAN afford is top tier. So what's the deal about no frozen orange juice? A supermarket that doesn't have frozen orange juice does not get 5 stars but don't let that stop you... this place is great.

MORE LIKE THIRD-WORLD CLASS MARKET. I don't live near a Big Y World Class Market, but my family does, so I drove far out of my way to purchase gift certificates for them for Xmas, only to be told by your staff that they couldn't sell them to me without signing up for your card. Why would I want a card to a store I don't shop at? Why would I want to take time to sign up for a card in a crowded store 2 days before Xmas during a pandemic? And quite frankly, where do you get off telling me that I have to give up my personal info in order to spend a bunch of money at your store.

Put in an order for a cheese pizza, showed up 10 mins after they said it would be ready when I got there the guy on the phone hadn’t written down the order and it was never started and the woman didn’t even notice I was waiting at the counter for a few minutes 👌🏽

Saw someone accidentally open the emergency exit and an employee blasted them on the sales floor out loud telling everyone that now the customer has to do the walk of shame. So unprofessional. The fact that I saw her say that out loud, I’m never going back again if that’s how they treat their customers. Gross.
