Came here for lunch on a cold Black Friday. It was a very good choice. The ramen noodles were very delicious, large portions too & reasonable prices. I got the super sized ramen for $2 more with twice the meats & toppings. They also accommodated my request to switch the ramen noodle for soba noodle. The appetizers were tasty as well. 2 thumbs up for Japanese casual eats.

The ramen we ordered was delicious and flavorful, perfectly capturing the rich essence of traditional Japanese cuisine. However, the takoyaki was a bit disappointing, as it had only a small amount of octopus, and the rest was mostly batter. Despite this, the staff was very accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience. The quality of service and the welcoming atmosphere make Yebisuya a great spot for enjoying a satisfying meal.

I typically go to Shoya Izakaya right next door, but since they weren't open until 5:00 PM, I decided to visit Yebisuya for a change. I was particularly craving ramen to-go, so I ordered their Chicken Tori Paitan with thin noodles.

Once I got home, I reheated the items and combined everything in a ramen bowl, replicating the presentation I would get dining in. Then, I sat down at my workstation and began digging in.

The chicken broth is flavorful and creamy- a bit on the salty side by itself when I was slurping it towards the end, but when in conjunction with the toppings of the chicken chashu, spinach, bamboo shoots/menma, wood ear mushrooms/kikurage, scallions, and soft boiled egg, it was relatively balanced and layered. The thin noodles themselves were honestly my favorite part- they struck me differently than all the bowls I've had at Shoya Izakaya next door in a soothing manner.

Yebisuya's Chicken Tori Paitan deepened my appreciation for ramen, and I encourage others to try it, whether in their cozy wooden interior with hospitable staff or in the comfort of their own home.

We love to come here every time we visit ATL. My husband and my friends enjoy dining in this restaurant as well. I just moved to the USA from Japan in 2022. This place gives me comfort. My favorite is Karaage teishuku, pork bun, koroke, gyoza and ramen, honestly everything is so good, and the price is reasonable. The staff are so friendly and pleasant. We always enjoy dining here. Love love love this restaurant tbh I was just here Saturday with my friends and we are here again today 😆

We normally go to the sushi place around here when we’re in the area but decided to try something different and OHHH MY GOOODD it was SO good! I had this rice beef bowl and my partner had the yakisoba with pork. Both were so good! Like even though it was hot outside, eating the food in there felt so cozy and comforting. We even got some curry to go and that was also delicious. The staff was also all so nice, they even all said goodbye to us when we left. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Good food at a good price with good customer service. We’ll definitely be back and invite others too 💕

The banners and printed pictures by the foyer would suggest Yebisuya was known for its ramen, but don't stop there. There's plenty more on the multi-paged menu besides noodles, and I felt it a shame I couldn't try them all today.

We shared a spider roll, which is a roll featuring deep-fried soft shelled crab. While the roll only came with six slices, each one was enormous and tasty. I ordered from the seasonal menu, which had a variety of cold soba dipping noodles. One of them came with a side of tempera vegetables (squash, sweet potato, shrimp) and I found the contrast of hot, crispy fritters with cold noodles a perfect fit for these twilight days of summer.

My husband and I came for a weekend lunch and found the service excellent, even though there seemed to be a shortage of hands to bus plates. Our waiters and servers were on hand for anything we needed without any kind of awkward hovering. To note - food comes out as soon as the kitchen prepares them, which means entrees may arrive before shared appetizers. My own entree got to the table after my husband had already finished his meal. That aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal so if you have any strong preferences about course timings, I'd mention that to the server. Highly recommend!

Probably the best value out there. For prices that are scarcely more than Chik-Fil-a, you can have amazing Japanese dinners that can make even my picky eaters very happy indeed.

Went to Japan last year for my birthday and had authentic Japanese ramen, this place is absolutely authentic Japanese ramen. Got the Chicken Tori Paitan Ramen and Chicken Karaage, they both were amazing!!!! Can’t wait to go back. Arigato Gozaimasu!

We dine here frequently. The ramen, katsu curry and yakisoba have all been very good. We haven't tried many of the appetizers. Takoyaki was okay but not memorable. The atmosphere is casual and the service friendly. We have never regretted a decision to dine here.

Delicious and expedient lunch location. 15-25$ an out the door in under an hour. I typically get the Premium Tonkotsu with my level one spicy paste on the side (so I can adjust it to my preference).

We love to come here every time we visit ATL. My husband and my friends enjoy dining in this restaurant as well. I just moved to the USA from Japan in 2022. This place gives me comfort. I ordered the seafood ramn as the menu picture showed it had scallops, but when it came to the table, there was no scallops and just have some cheap mussle. Nobody explained why it was different and the price was the same. This is not reasonable as the ingredients were cheaper.

The young asian lady (looks Korean) who served our food had a very bad attitude toward us. It ruined our lovely meal. We have been here several times but this experience has made us very disappointed

We visited for the first time today. The food was good, but the experience was not. My food was delivered, and my husband’s arrived a couple of minutes later. Then we waited for our daughter’s ramen. And waited, and waited. I asked a server and she replied, “Yes, it’s coming. Some food takes more moving around.” (She motioned as if shaking a pan.) ??? We waited, and asked again. The ramen finally arrived more than 15 minutes after our food, so ours was totally cold. The server who brought it said “Sorry” and then no one spoke or approached again…our glasses had been empty. It was like they were terrified of us. When we walked by to leave, no one would even make eye contact. Such a bummer!

Went here for the Karaage Chicken and it wasn’t true Japanese style Karaage Chicken. The Karaage Chicken they served was just cut up Chicken Tenders, it should be deboned chicken thighs. The ramen was great though.

I usually like this place, but last time I was there at 1:30pm, I thought they had construction going on it was so loud and constant banging. Turns out they were working on some giant slab of meat?? But it was really jarring. The service is always friendly but so many meals, I'm waiting so long to be able to find someone to get my check. Last time I ordered gyudon, there was barely any meat and rice was undercooked, soaked in scallion oil. Just put me off overall. You can't mess up rice.

The Yakisoba was nasty they are not authentic they use Ramen noodles instead of Udon I lived in Okinawa for 4 years so I know the difference I shouldn’t have to ask for Udon noodles like the waitress said I will never go here again

This place gives me whiplash. The experience is, unfortunately, a roll of the dice. Half of the time, the food is really good with full portions!..

The other half, it feels like they just try to get an order out to you. Which is a shame, because when it's right, it's some of the better food on this strip. I think that I got maybe 1/8th of a chicken breast with the last Oyakodon that I ordered.

When I'm with friends and family, I usually have to choose Shoya Izakaya because Yebisuya is so inconsistent.

This is the Best Ramen in Atlanta hands down. the Tonkotsu Black is superb. the noodles are fresh and all the toppings are top shelf. Yebisuya is my go to Ramen spot without question. Make note of their hours 1130-3 pm for lunch then they open again at 5 for dinner.

We stumbled upon Yebisuya about a year ago when we went to Doraville to try the restaurant next door. The wait next door was too long, and I'm so glad it was, because Yebisuya is one of our favorite repeat date spots. (we still haven't tried the other place 😂) The pricing is extremely reasonable, there's never a wait, and the food is phenomenal. The katsudon is second to none, but I would honestly recommend anything on the menu - - everything I've tried has been great! (pictured: katsudon and pork chashu)

The service is always great, but we have notices that the rice dishes come with a lot less rice now and my husband always gets the katsu curry rice and the pork cutlet is a lot smaller now. Very disappointed.

This was SO DELICIOUS. Hands down my favorite ramen spot in Atlanta. No wait times, good service, food came out quick.

Pan fried gyoza (4.5/5)
I like mine with a little bit more crisp on the bottom. The texture other than that was PERFECT though.

Clear tonkotsu ramen (4.5/5)
This broth truly blew me away. Not even gonna try to explain but best broth I’ve ever had, if it’s not, then it comes pretty close. Bamboo had the perfect texture, but the chashu personally could have been a little bit less fatty.

Honorable mention to their spicy paste - this stuff was actually spicy!!!! Which doesn’t happen a lot at ramen places. Very delicious.

I ordered the chicken katsu curry, and it was super thick. When I got to the center, it was slightly raw and very rubbery.

When I brought it to the attention of the waitress and told her I was done with it, she said nothing and just brought me the check. Terrible way to treat a customer who just got served raw chicken.

This is a solid, reliable Japanese restaurant. The service is excellent on weekends, when we go, the prices are very reasonable for a Japanese restaurant (they tend to be overpriced in my experience), and the food is very good. They have most Japanese dishes with the exception of sushi. The portions are reasonable for the price. Enough to be comfortably full with an appetizer.
The wifey loves the soups, and I like the cutlets and beef bowls. The tempura is expertly breaded and fried.
The location is excellent as well. Dessert places all around and the hmart next door.
We come here every month for a good reason!

Tonkotsu broth was good, chashu was tough and not prepared in the traditional fashion. More just a piece of seasoned and grilled pork belly than chashu. Okonomiyaki, good flavor but wish they used cabbage or noodles in the base. Without something besides the batter it's pretty dense. Gyu don had good flavor but maybe too much sauce, rice was soggy. Gyoza good, Agedashi tofu good. Spam musubi fell apart, not enough rice.

One ding, no high chairs only booster seats.

All in all, decent experience. Last time we came was pre-covid. Would come again, just know what to and what not to order.

Hands down the best Japanese Ramen place. I have tried many different ramen places, but this place is the best so far. Very authentic, great atmosphere and services.

This has become our family's go to comfort food destination. The tonkotsu ramen is delicious. The katsu curry rice was my favourite; sweet and spicy. The portion sizes are great for sharing. The staff is very attentive and friendly. This place can get busy at lunchtime on the weekends. I'm liking the new menu selections.

Amazing. Best miso I've had. The 32 oz beer mugs are also quite fun.

Deep fried gyoza is also quite a good idea, and the chicken karage is moist/succulent even if slightly underspiced.

This was such a fantastic and satisfying dining experience. I got the chicken katsu curry and it was very flavorful, the chicken was juicy and crispy, and the portion could feed two! The house fried rice and appetizers we ordered were also great. The prices are so reasonable, especially considering how good the food is and the big portion. Definitely want to come back to try more from their extensive menu!

Absolutley love it here. I usually get dinner when they first open and it's always very relaxed and quiet. The food is delicious and I haven't had something I don't like. The Okonomiyaki is my favorite thing off the menu, a must have.

I ordered takeout from this Japanese restaurant. The food was good & I did finish my meal. The Kimchi is served cold and I was not told this when I placed the order. I did mix it with my hot dish and solved the issue. I will be back for a dine-in experience with them.

I rarely write a negative review, but the service at this restaurant was simply terrible. Despite having visited a few times before and finding the food is okay, the consistently poor service has been a letdown. Unfortunately, my visit yesterday was the worst experience yet.

We ordered donkotsu ramen, tempura set, chasudon, and yakisoba. they brought out the yakisoba last, which took nearly 30 minutes since we started our meal. This was already a bad start.

But the main issue was with the yakisoba itself. The noodles were extremely undercooked, making them tough and hard to chew. When I mentioned this to the server, her unhelpful attitude didn't help. She took my dish to the chef, who said the noodles were supposed to be that way because of how they cook them due to the hot plate cooking method. They asked if I wanted a new dish or to reheat it. I asked for a new dish. After waiting about 15 minutes, they brought a new one with better noodles and a different texture. We left with the whole yakisoba dish untouched on the table.

What frustrated me even more was when I asked if I could cancel the dish due to its consistent poor quality. The server declined, leaving me feeling helpless. Who would want to eat the same disappointing dish repeatedly?

I've NEVER skipped giving a tip in my life, but the server's attitude and the way she talked left me with no choice. Additionally, she never checked on us after we received the new dish if it's okay, and she didn't refill our water before we got the new dish either. I tasted the food, left the dish untouched, and left without tipping. As I was leaving, I tried discussing the issue with her, but she mumbled without any apology.

It's clear that the management needs to train their staff better. The service has consistently been poor and slow. I've tried yakisoba in various places, both in Atlanta and Japan, and never encountered such an explanation for undercooked noodles.

$11 ramens in 2023? Sold! I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time. We tried Black Tonkotsu ramen, Tokyo Soy ramen and two buns. Ramens were good but the buns were disappointing. They were pretty small and the piece of chashu in the bun was a little bigger than my pinky.

Went to this place in Doraville, GA called Yebisuya where I had Omurice for the first time along with a Yebisuya Bun that I also got and tried for the first time.

Omurice: although this wasn't the Omurice I was expecting this was definitely still a very delicious version. Underneath is a bed of fried rice that was just so good with an omelet layered on top of it. They give you 3 sauce choices Spicy Kewpie Mayo, Ketchup, and Tonkatsu sauce. I chose the spicy mayo which by the way wasn't spicy at all I could have ate a ton of that stuff with no problem and those that know me know I don't handle spice well lol.

Yebisuya Bun: is basically a steamed bun with chicory, scallion, and I got it with Tonkatsu pork in it and yall when I tell yall I could have ate 10 of these bad boys. The bun was so soft and the filling was sooooo flavorful like you just have to try it.

Go check these guys out the next time you're in Georgia or if you live in Georgia. 8.9/10

This is one of my fav places to go for lunch when I’m in the area . The staff is super friendly , place is such a cute quaint place with a chill vibe . The sushi used to be my fav but with the menu change that hasn’t stopped me from going ! If you’re in the area you should most definitely give them a try .

We went there for lunch and we both had the Premium Tonkatsu Ramen. It was really good. Especially my friend from Fukuoka Japan, which is the Ramen capital of the Japan, and he knows good ramen. He said it was good and I highly recommended.

This was a great experience and I plan to come back soon. The food was tasty, simple, and comforting. I got the katsudon and my partner had udon. Our very sweet server also recommend a tasty yuzu sake. We had a delicious and satisfying late dinner for two people for around $50. It was actually busier when we left at around 9 than when we got there at 8!

They have updated their menu and no longer have sushi rolls. They do have a few rice bowl dishes (with salmon sashimi or eel or chashu pork) which are all yummy. My friend had the seafood champon noodle soup which was also good!
They have also removed all of the protective barriers placed during pandemic so the ambiance is very nice again!

The Premium Tonkotsu ramen had fatty pork and meat I didn’t order.

I guess I shouldn’t have ordered extra pork chashu. I got fatty pork and some chicken. When I asked the server about the chicken…

Me: What kind of meat is this?
Her: What did you order?

She bought enough time to look up my order on her handheld. Then she told me the chicken was pork. There was a clear contrast between the pork and chicken in my bowl

I attached the fatty pieces of pork. One piece actually looks like meat but I assure you it’s not.

I love coming here. They can get pretty busy though which can definitely effect how long you’ll be there. But the prices are good and so is the food. I’ve never experienced bad customer service in the 3-4 times that I’ve been here. I like coming here for the ramen but there are a lot of things that are good on the menu.

I love coming here every time I do some grocery shopping at H-mart. The ramen is always very good! I wish they would get some high-chairs so I could come more frequently with my baby. She likes the food too!

It used to be good, but they changed the ingredients and menu recently. The chashu pork is different to be cheap and tough, the bamboo is the canned, pickled kind, and they no longer use spicy oil, it's just some sort of powder. Maybe it'll change back, but it feels much cheaper and lower quality than before.

This place need to change their dine-in policy if they don’t like customers come in after 9PM. They automatically added 18% gratuity to a party of 6, and would still ask for extra gratuity during checkout without notifying that tips is already included.

Used to be our favorite lunch/noodle place. They changed ownership after Covid and recently also changed the menu and food… their ramen no longer has the same quality of Chashu and bamboo shoots. Lost the original flavor. To be fair, it’s still not a bad place to dine in for a quick lunch, but we will not come again. There are better and more authentic Japanese restaurants just near by.

Yebisuya is my favorite ramen restaurant in Georgia. Located in the Doraville H Mart Complex alongside its sister restaurant Shoya Izakaya, Yebisuya offers a diverse menu of ramen dishes as well as small plates and rice dishes that is authentic to Japan. Enjoy a satisfying meal with friends in the traditional low table room or solo at the communal table by the kitchen.

Takoyaki - The classic Osaka street food. Yebisuya’s takoyaki is served hit and fresh with a crispy exterior and a warm gooey interior. Be sure and poke holes to vent the steam before popping a whole piece into your mouth.

Chicken Katsu Curry Rice - Most Japanese restaurants serve only pork katsu. Here, you can get delicious fried chicken cutlets served on top of warm, thick, slightly spicy curry with the perfect accompaniment of rice and pickled ginger.

Soba - A noodle dish rarely consumed in the west. Soba is a summer dish, served cold on a slotted bamboo plate with a side of sauce for noodle dipping. You may find this under appreciated cooling dish satisfying in the midst of the Georgia summer.

Vegetable Croquettes - lightly fried patties of mashed potatoes mixed with pieces of sweet potatoes, zucchini, and carrots. These croquettes are a satisfying appetizer to start your meal.

Tonkatsu Ramen - Yebisuya’s signature ramen. The pork bones that flavor the tonkatsu broth are slow cooked for over 12 hours to give the creamy broth a rich umami flavor. The noodles are nice and firm, the pork chashu slices are tender and tasty, and the half slice of soft boiled egg is cooked to perfection.

Tokyo Soy Ramen - everything that can be said about the Tonkatsu Ramen also applies to the Tokyo Soy, but instead of a rich pork-based broth you are enjoying a lighter soy sauce-based broth. Do not mistake lighter for less flavor though, the Tokyo Soy still has plenty of umami.

My visit was disappointing because the price was not cheap. Wish they had more cabbage in the okonomiyaki and wish the chicken karaage was crunchier. Also had their sashimi which was just ok. The person who I went with had Nagasaki champon and it was lacking freah seafood toppings. (It maybe nice if they replace the imitation crab with something else.) Overall, it’s alright but bit overpriced.

Ordered to go, total tab around $46. Everything pictured was delicious and packaged very well. Friendly & knowledgeable staff who helped me make my order. Roman lasted two days, and was very filling.

Lunch out with a friend and we both ordered the same item. A bowl of vegetables with soba noodles. Not many veggies except cabbage. Not worth the extra $2 I paid for the soba noodles. $17 total for lunch is too much for mainly cabbage. Not going back. Better places on Buford Hwy.

RING the bell when you need service! Just an amazing place and the Raman noodles were kind of hard. The chicken karaage was great and the salmon Yakima onigiri was okay very crunchy but it seems like it's not salmon flake. The service was super slow and I didn't like how the people are always gone... sitting at the bar be aware of nobody there. Sitting at the booth or sitting area it'd good to know that the service bell can be press when needed

I ordered karaage and volcano roll. Karaage was okay, but the volcano roll was not worth it to try at all. It was really poor and tasted, just like California roll. Don't eat a volcano... also there are many servers but not really care the people. They just walked around random place and did not show up. Even kitchen people ring the alarm for food, server didn't take it for a while. It's a really poor place. I'd rather go shoya, which is right next to it..
By the way, I took a photo for both, and I stired up the roll because I wanted to check the ingredients that are matched on the menu or not. It seems to match, but only a small portion chopped and mixed. I will not come to this place again for sure.

I love this place because it is kid friendly and the food comes out fast. The kids usually devour the udon noodle soup, and I usually enjoy their salads or grilled mackerel. They had a good variety of Japanese dishes, including ramen soup, sushi, and sashimi, and hard to find croquettes. All the food here is yummy!

Best ramen I’ve had! Everything was super fresh and incredibly flavorful! The chicken was tender and all ingredients were cooked perfectly! I also got a side fried rice and it was amazing! So glad I found this place and will definitely be back for more!

Gave this place a try. Went during lunch time. Good decor and service was ok. A good menu selection for ramen. The ramen noodles we had were all good. Each bowl had their own distinct flavor. Portions of noodles and other items was just right.

Food is authentic, fresh and delicious and service was quick and friendly. A very family friendly restaurant. We were seated immediately. Good music, colorful decorations kids love, and worth every penny. Wish I still lived so close to a restaurant like this. Thanks for a wonderful meal! We had beef curry, ton ton chicken ramen, chashu don and pork gyoza. Everything was great.

Highly impressed by this delightful gem that is hidden right here in Atlanta. Inside you will find the perfect blend of authentic atmosphere of Japan.

The sushi we tried was phenomenal and the miso soup was priced right and was revitalizing.

They also have amazing ramen, and a host of other delectable delights. You won't be disappointed and probably be back.

The banners and printed pictures by the foyer would suggest Yebisuya was known for its ramen, but don't stop there. There's plenty more on the multi-paged menu besides noodles, and I felt it a shame I couldn't try them all today.

We shared a spider roll, which is a roll featuring deep-fried soft shelled crab. While the roll only came with six slices, each one was enormous and tasty. I ordered from the seasonal menu, which had a variety of cold soba dipping noodles. One of them came with a side of tempera vegetables (squash, sweet potato, shrimp) and I found the contrast of hot, crispy fritters with cold noodles a perfect fit for these twilight days of summer.

My husband and I came for a weekend lunch and found the service excellent, even though there seemed to be a shortage of hands to bus plates. Our waiters and servers were on hand for anything we needed without any kind of awkward hovering. To note - food comes out as soon as the kitchen prepares them, which means entrees may arrive before shared appetizers. My own entree got to the table after my husband had already finished his meal. That aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal so if you have any strong preferences about course timings, I'd mention that to the server. Highly recommend!

We went about an hour before closing. There was apparently a fire alarm going on so we couldn't go in immediately but I wanted to go so we waited it out. Got in around 40 minutes before closing. Staff let us know the kitchen closed soon but they were still super nice and accommodating. We had 3 ramen's and each was delicious. Had some sushi also and it was amazing. They were just so nice and friendly even though we had come kinda late. I truly appreciated it and will definitely come back.

The food was good/fine however, the restaurant forgot 2 rolls (both of which were my portion of our order). They called to notify me once the driver was already almost to my house and was not able to turn around to get them.
I then tried calling the restaurant back to notify them and they said they would “talk to the manager”….I waited on hold for over 15 minutes and when I finally hung up and tried again, the phones were done.
I understand that mistakes happen, however, they should have made it right and did not.
So, my boyfriend and I had to share the dinner we ordered for him since mine never arrived.
I will not be ordering from here again

Unfortunately, they just implemented a $2 to go charge on all to-go orders which would be fine except this time, all I wanted was an onigiris ($3).

Update: they seemed to have expanded their menu with additional great options and the vibe is much more upbeat.

We have been here several times previously (dine in before covid and take out recently) and this is our first time dining in again. The service is great and the food is better. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. They solved the touching of menus situation by using the divider as menu holders too. So, you get your privacy and protection😀.

We went here for dinner on Wednesday. The restaurant itself is very nice with a lot of fun decorations. The servers were kind and attentive. We ordered a premium Tonkotsu, Kimchi Tonkotsu, and grilled whole squid. The ramen was very good and their portion size was very generous. The only thing we did not like was the fact that the squid appeared to be either boiled or steamed, not grilled as described on the menu.

I went around 5:30 pm there weren't a lot of people there. The atmosphere was nice, clean tables, good decor, and clean restrooms. The waitress was attentive and service was fast. The food is good for the price. Next time, I will ask if I can have spicy Katsudon.
Update: good atmosphere, came for the summer menu soba noodles. The taste was good and the tempura was crispy!

They are unwilling to sit a party of 2 at a booth. We felt uncomfortable and after sharing this the young individual running the place brought up a new policy that he could not sit us in one of the 4 empty booths. You lost 2 repeat customers to gain 4 invisible customers. Great job.

Run don't walk...worst dinning experience. We waited to get seated. Once sat, we waited 10 minutes for a server to come take our order. We picked what we wanted only to be told they don't have sushi. That is 50% of the menu. My wife ordered shrimp curry rice. I've seen pigs eat better looking food. My meal never came. The server never came back to check on us. A different server tried to bring us a second round of beer that we didn't order. I sent them back. I literally had to go to the front to get my bill. I told the lady my meal never came, she said the computers froze. I said that's funny, my wife's meal came. I will never go back. Zero attempt to make anything right. They even tried to charge me for the meal that never came. I'd give Zero stars if I could.
