I see the store was temporarily closed, I hope they took care of those dead rats and that awful smell. That is so disgusting when you sell food like a produce section. The new dark skinned manager there is just terrible, looks like Celie from the color purple. All of the years I have shopped at this location Mrs. Teresa was best manager that ran the store. It went down after she quit.

This store appears to be shutting down for good. I rode by the other day and saw the store completely empty and everything being tossed into the dumpster.

Today was the worst shape I have seen this store in since it opened! This even includes the time an irate customer decided to knock down several displays on the floor because of a disagreement she had with the manager. It is absolutely horrible!! To make matters worse the employees don’t care either. The guy stocking the shelves was just kicking the items on the floor to get them out of his way. I almost said something to him but he wouldn’t have noticed anyway because he had earbuds in with his music cranked up. When I got to the register I noticed they removed self check out which sucked because the line is always long here with only 2 employees working at a time. The cashier was nice but seriously rocking a skull cap and shades while he checked me out. I will NOT be returning to this location! DO BETTER!

I've been going to DG on Central Church Rd. Loved it at 1st,now it's different. Products opened on shelves, staff barely speaks, Products laying on floor in isles, curse words heard from staff members on their phones or talking to others. Shelves are so messy & can't see prices. It has gotten very sloppy. Store needs to do better.

Good selection, aisles are small, nice staff, especially the young man behind the register tonight getting harassed by a customer that seemed like he just wanted to argue because well, why not🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️…waiting to be checked out takes longer then it should but other then that it’s a 3 1/2⭐️ to maybe a 4⭐️ Store I guess & I’m just being nice cuz I couldn’t make up my mind.

This store seems to be more organized than the others I frequent. Staffing is terrible at all the Dollar Generals in Douglasville and Douglas County. Good stuff when it is on the shelves .

Store hours? What are those?!?! It’s 8:06, OPEN YOUR DOORS. I swear they refuse to hire people capable of arriving at work and opening the doors by 8am. Change your store hours to open at 11am, maybe then your store will open on time.

They always have what I need and I love going here to find nice inexpensive gifts! My fiance knows I'm probably gonna stop here on my way home 😊.

Update January 2021.

In the times of a pandemic there must be a better way to handle the long lines and wait time especially considering that I'm currently witnessing two attendants in the store work but only one is on the register while the other stocks. Best business practice is break down the line then go back to stocking. This store had this problem prior to the pandemic. It makes me wonder how their cleanliness is while this is going on. I did not see the cashier at the time sanitize her hands once while working to registers at once and handling almost 20 customers. Cant wait for this store to be under better management.

Remodeled and new items. I'll have to get use to remembering where items are but awesome selection to choose from.

I love gifting items and usually grab little trinkets, gift bags, etc to decorate. They did sell clothes but I have not seen many , just basic t shirt/underwear. They also have a small grocery section that offers fresh food. Always delighted to have a healthy option to choose from for the family. I am a snacker and this has helped me choose a banana versus a bag of chips 🤦🏾‍♀️, hey its keeping me health conscious!

They are still working on organizing which is to be expected since we're recovering from the pandemic. Staff shortages everywhere so we'll just have to be patient. The manager here is awesome! Always friendly and helpful! Give her a raise she deserves it!

Ratchet manager loves to pretend she's on Springer show from the 90s, bobbing her hair weave and talking to customers out of pocket. The very epitome of a BT1000. She hates her life and I don't blame her I hate it too.

Hard to find things I was looking for, aisles barely wide enough for people to pass each other, then add the fact that there's product all over the floor (some obviously from customers, but there's equal if not more that is stock), empty and filled stocking carts, and cardboard product displays, make it near impossible to easily navigate the store. The prices are decent, but it's hard to find a price on everything. It's hard to tell which people on the floor are employees as I never see anything that clearly indicates that they are an employee of the store, the cashiers are more obvious.

I would have given it 5 stars, but the store is always in a mess and really hot and lines because it's only always 1 cashier. Other than that, I love that it's close by me house and I can go there to pick up quick stuff instead of driving all the way to Walmart. I can't leave out of Walmart with out spending $100.

Every day this dollar general has a line as long as what you see in this picture with only ONE register open. No one is disinfecting the carts or at least attempting to advise social distancing of 6ft apart.

Even without a pandemic this DG is super disoriginized, crowded and over stocked to the point where items are ilse and floors for you to trip on.

This place is HORRIBLE! Only one register open, with a line wrapped back around the corner almost to the snacks, chips, etc. Then if you are able to get to the only working register (they claim while others are in a meeting) the card pad does not work! No discounts applied for you! Are you serious?!?!

The cashiers were very nice & helpful. I was a little disappointed that there was not a good selection of air fresheners, but I may have come on a day before they did their floor stocking. Overall, a nice store.
