Dollar General

This store gets worse every time I go in. I quiet literally can't shop here. The uboats cover almost all the end caps in the middle and back of the store. Half the shelves are empty and where there is stuff in the seasonal section it's just full of boxes that I have no clue what's in them.
I'm pretty sure all the uboats in the back are a fire hazard and if employees are back there in an emergency they won't be getting out the back. This place has zero organization, for instance, need athletes foot spray don't look in the pharmacy isle, it's in the auto section.
The kids in here don't seem to care much about the job they do. I even heard one kids say I don't care I'm not the one getting written up... I guess I'll drive to the one off Central Church since they have stuff on the shelves.

Our store is a hot mess and I always feel like I’m going to get stabbed in the parking lot, but it’s convenient when I forget to grab a can of beans for dinner 🤣 I’m literally there at least twice a week and I’ve never seen the same employee twice! 🤦🏻‍♀️

The store is not bad as far as stock, could be a little messy at times but the staff is helpful. Went in yesterday and no one was wearing a mask except me and the staff,, even though there was a sign mandating it and the staff didn't enforce the policy which was annoying since its for everyone's safety. That's why it got 1 star.

Store is selling bad food. Freezers do not work but these low life people still have the food in there.

You have about a 25% chance of this store actually being open when they say they are. They close randomly whenever and the store is pretty dirty too. Other DG employees in the area actually make fun of this store. Best for DG to cut their losses and just close this store down.

I just left this store and it is closed during open hours with a note on the door. This is not a mom and Pops store where you just shut down at will. This happens quite often. And it always has stock all over the place. You can not maneuver up and down the aisle which is a safety hazard. I would greatly suggest getting a LOGISTICS Manager to come in restore order back to this location or an Inventory Specialist.
Not only is this not safe it is also welcoming sign for theft. I really like coming here because convenience. But there is a clear gap of missed opportunities when it comes to training and staffing.

The employees at this location are usually pretty friendly, and I am happy to see that they’ve updated the store, however, this location is ALWAYS opening late! There have been many days when I’ve stopped by here in the mornings to pick up a few things, and even at 8:00am (their posted opening time) there isn’t even an employee present at the location yet, and the inside is dark and locked. There have also been more than a few times when someone is here, yet they still fail to open anywhere close to on-time. I am actually sitting here in the parking lot right now with at least 4 other cars, and there is NO ONE, not a single employee here to open the location! When I arrived, the only “someone” in the parking lot was a squirrel, and as far as I could tell, he didn’t have a key. People keep driving up, getting out of their cars, and walking up to a locked door and a dark store, despite the fact that they should have opened about 20 minutes ago. Several people have driven off, which of course translates to lost revenue for DG...inexcusable! I also hate the fact that some of the employees tend to smoke in front right outside of the building, and they are obviously discarding their cigarettes right there, although the parking lot is always filthy anyway. This location has a lot of potential, but someone in a position of authority definitely needs to step in and get things in proper, professional order...

*Update: At approximately 8:25, an employee finally strolled nonchalantly into the store, and after standing outside around the front door, we were finally allowed inside maybe 5 minutes later. Only about half of the store lights were turned on, so the store was very dim. They then had problems with the cash register, and the lady working the register actually took a call on her cell phone (possibly from a store manager) while checking out a customer, which slowed her down even more. The customer was polite, but she too was obviously frustrated. The counter was so cluttered with unstocked merchandise there was just barely any place to put your items, and even after waiting 30 minutes just to get into the store, and despite the fact that I smiled and greeted the employee with a friendly: “Good morning, how are you today?” (to which she barely muttered “Fine”) once I’d paid and received my receipt, I didn’t even receive so much as a “Thank You” or a “Have a nice day”...nothing. Good Customer Service is absolutely essential when dealing with the public, and this store is just flat-out unprofessional! After today, I am done with this location...

The young man who works at night ask to many personal question, like what are your weekend plans,an you come on here a lot DO YOU live close. When I worked retail I was trained to smile an say good evening or hello.
This store also has a problem with stock!

Totally shocked by the manager behavior. You should lead by example. Some one with a smile should operate register. And classes should be held for bagging. You should not put hand soap in bag with cloth mater.

Stopped by this location last night there was a sign on the door made that said opening back later it was 20 minutes till closing time nobody was in the store that is not good for business.

Dollar General is like any other Dollar General. Cluttered all over but a little expensive on certain items as usual. The employees there were nice as you came in, approached the register and left out of the store.

I just left this store and it is closed during open hours with a note on the door. This is not a mom and Pops store where you just shut down at will. This happens quite often. General dollar seems to always be under staff. Although the staffs there are the sweetest people but the place is always in a disarray with boxes all over and stuffed shelves. But they always have that last minute thing you need before your folks come over for dinner and the price is decent. You get what you get.

This place is filthy. So sad since they closed for a month to organize and clean. Looks just as bad if not worse then before. The associates are rude! I never receive a receipt, and when I ask for one, there is always an excuse why it is not possible. It is very unprofessional for the counter lady to be having a conversation on her cellphone while customers are trying to checkout. This establishment needs new management!!

This store has become nothing but a junk hole. It always smells in this store and it’s always messing. The service is very slow and usually they don’t know how to run the register.
