Dollar General

The manager immediately ejected me from the store for holding my 8 lb service dog. I informed her he was a service animal and she told me she doesn’t care, it’s company police to eject all with dogs. I knew that wasn’t true so I decided to shop as fast as I could. After peacefully shopping for a couple minutes she shouts “you are criminally trespassing and I am calling the police”. I asked for her name and she refused. I left and called customer service. Fact is service animals are allowed in all stores without proof. The worst encounter I’ve ever had in public with a stranger.

The not having bags and poor inventory needs to be fixed. The store had some reliable staff before that's even gone now. This store needs genuine revamping and serious management upgrade. It's overall a good store to have, but needs some effort put in. This neighborhood backs the store, but may have to go to the next closest one in the future.

This location is always closed., Manager should be fired. Claims she will not work 10 hrs. Plus she seems to hire kids who will not stay. The store looks terrible. Boxes everywhere and stocking taking for ever to finish. The regional manager should come and supervise the store until they can correct staffing issues. We had great worker there until the present manager took over. Poor business here

Staff are rude and horrible the worker stocking shelf was cussing threw the store saying the f word. Pretty sure the cashier tryed to ad a fort nite gift card to my purchase. Good thing I checked my receipt when I got to the car had to go back in get him to refund 20 dollar for a fortnite card balance that I didn't purchase. When I walked back in he was acting a little odd about it. On top of that he had blue hair he kinda looked like someone that would be a gamer.

Very convenient to the house, great for quick pick ups. Best before 3 pm. Not enough staff after 4 o'clock. Recently the Ocean Spray products are not available . Staffing on Chapel Hill and Annawakie has improved. Old Riverside and 166/92 is questionable.

Great place when you need something quick and the lines are long at supermarket. These stores are everywhere!!! Staff is usually friendly, but the store shelves are either crammed with stuff or empty. Doesn't seem to be very organized. Hey....one more thing, items are not generally a dollar.

Cashier was nice But I have never seen a more disorganized, cluttered, no room to push buggy store in all my day. They had toys in a small part of every isle and it was just a mess in there. Very unprofessional and annoying. I got mad bring there that's how messy it was. Get it together geez

There was only one cashier and the line was very long. The store was very nasty nothing put up on the shelves and the floor was very dirty. I feel that the manager needs to do better with the store and to make sure that she has enough employees to run the registers.

Worst dollar general in the county. The line is always insanely long due to employees not wanting to ring folks up and only use the self check out. There is never anything in stock and it stinks of illegal substances almost every time I’m there. Wouldn’t recommend shopping here you won’t find what you need and it will take you longer than any other store in Douglas county .

I went in to purchase a few items.
As soon as I walked in they had metal carts full of product to put out everywhere.
I couldn’t get my buggy through some aisles
Was very disappointed in this going on at 430 in the afternoon
I walked out of the store as I was frustrated at this point
Went to the Dollar General on Fairburn Rd
I will never shop at Annawakee rd again
Pourly managed.

On this visit I had a return toilet paper. The tp was Scott toilet paper, turns out it was super thin.
I brought the remaining 4 rolls. Hoping to at least 1/2 my money back. The cashier took a roll out unraveled it and said it seems okay. 😒
She did finally refund 1/2 my money plus tax.
But why did she have to unroll one of the rolls. And think I was going to keep the product. Aside from the fact the Scott tp, was not what was expected.

Dollar General gives the convenience of Convenience store, quick and easy in and out, the selection of a grocery store or Walmart and best of all great prices. For instance, a carton of Edy's ice cream is 6.62 at Publix. Every day price is 4.00 at DG and on sale it is 3.00 to 3.50. Theater boxes of candy are 1.00 and the same box is , 2.69 at Walgreens.

Dollar General has everything that you need and then some at very low prices. My only issue is that the store is so cluttered that several aisles are virtually impassable. I stopped by today for a small bag of charcoal. I couldn't find any on the shelves, but there was plenty on the stock cart that was blocking the aisle. I got a bag from the stock cart.

The staff is always helpful. If something I need isn't on the shelf they check the stock they are stocking. Restrooms are always clean. This is my neighborhood DG even though I stop in at other locations in Douglas & Carroll Counties &&&& the price is always right
