Edible Arrangements

My review is based on how my issue was handled. I ordered a birthday edible arrangement in the big Martini glass for my mother's 65th. We received it late and the quality was poor. I reached out to the location by phone and sent an email. I received a call back from Jayla(I believe that is correct) She was absolutely wonderful. She apologized and was very sincere about the situation. She was super helpful, she refunded me and even had a dozen chocolate covered strawberries sent to my mom. It was a very nice gesture. I really appreciate everything she did to make a disappointing experience much better. Great customer service, she definitely retained a customer.

Update: The chocolate covered strawberries arrived and they were fresh and looked amazing!

Please give this location a chance before you listen to the bad reviews! I live in Memphis but wanted to send an arrangement to my best friend for his birthday and it turned out beautiful!! I ordered it on my way to work before they even opened at 9 and at like 10:30 I got an email that it had been delivered. I'd recommend this location to anyone who needs a yummy, but also beautiful treat sent to someone they love!

I ordered a $60 gift for my wife, she gets it and everything strewn around in the container. They also didn't give the correct stuffed animal. I'll do my best to never do business with this company and encourage others to do the same.

Today is my wife and I's anniversary, and Eddible Arrangements totally saved the day! Not only did they go above and beyond with arrangement, but they also included a free balloon to go with the arrangement, and a few extra strawberries to get me out of the dog house with the misses for eating all of ours at home. Seriously great place, and good people. 10/10 will definitely recommend!

Don’t let the negative reviews stop you! I almost didn’t book because of that but I’m so glad I gave them a try! I ordered online the day before I needed my arrangement sent to my mother for her birthday and the next day they had it delivered by 1pm! So delivery was fast. I also called to try to get an estimate on when it might arrive and the gentleman who answered the phone was able to help me so customer service was great. My mom called me beyond happy! The arrangement was not only beautiful but they made sure to have the balloons I added as well as the fruit being delicious and fresh! What really made it extra special was that the lady who delivered the arrangement to my mother was super sweet. She couldn’t stop raving about how great the delivery lady was and how kind she was! I definitely will be using them in the future and would recommend anyone to give them a try. Thank you for making my mother’s birthday a special one!

The smoothies here are soo bomb! Taste amazing and the best part is they used real fruits just like in the fruit arrangements.. a must try.. #Douglasville location, Shakeel makes the best smoothies.

Today I was ordering my Mother an arrangement for her 55th wedding anniversary. My Father is deceased and I always make sure “He” sends her something. Sadly I clicked the wrong delivery date so I called the store and spoke with Nickiey and she took care of it quickly. Thank you so much for making sure this tradition will continue!!!!!

I understand businesses won’t always get things right. But when mistakes are brought to their attention, they should make it right.

A dear friend had two tragic deaths in her family at the same time. I spent $180 on a large Edibles arrangement. It was supposed to come with flowers and a balloon.

The flowers and balloon never came. The arrangement did, but it was Get Well themed 🤦‍♀️. Embarrassing.

I left a voicemail with the local store after the bungled delivery, which was never returned. When I finally got someone on the line days later, their response was clipped and unapologetic.

The flowers were supposed to be re-delivered today. I missed a call from the local store, so they reached out to my grieving friend directly. The text ended in, “Please give us a call immediately.”

According to my friend, after leaving her on hold the rep asked her: “Will you be available to accept your delivery?" My friend said yes, and the Edibles rep replied: “I THINK the driver might come today but let me check with him.” And then she hung up on my friend. Mortifying.

I also left a 1-star review in response to Edible’s “how did we do?” survey. No response there either. I will look elsewhere for gifts in the future.

Service at this location is very slow! Order been ready since after 11am and still had to wait 10 mins. Order came out and box was defected so had to wait again because I had to ask to get it changed.

I ordered an arrangement on 2/13 and was promised delivery on 2/15. I was called to confirm I was home so they could deliver. They didn’t. They called that night and added a free item for not delivering. On 2/16 they called and said they would deliver that day and they asked if we would be home. They still didn’t deliver. They called and added another free item. They called 3 times while I was on a flight on the 17th and said they were backed up from Valentine’s Day but wanted to make sure I was home so they could deliver. I told them my husband was home. NO DELIVERY OR CALLS after that. I called on 2/23 to get my money back and was calm and cool. No one offered an apology or showed any empathy. Just gave my money back. I will never order from here again. I know it is a busy time, but this was unacceptable.

My confirmed valentines day order to a business wasn't delivered on valentines, got a call at 8pm about this. Was delivered the next day. A big disappointment. Wouldn't use this location again.

Horrible customer and delivery service. Communication is horrendous. Delivery attempt was never even made. Took ages for an update on a refund and was still charged a delivery fee. Will not return or recommend this company again.

Placed an order on 2/2/24 for delivery on 2/14/24. Was called on 2/14/24 at 6pm being told they could not make the delivery until 2/15/24 and that they would add more items to make up for it not being delivered on time. On 2/15/24 order was delivered but only the arrangement and one other item was delivered. Told the driver of the items that were missing and he stated he would bring them back within 2 hours. Waited until the next day and the items were never delivered. This has happened on multiple occasions. If I could give them half of a star I would.

I placed an order at the Douglasville location and my daughter never received her Valentine's Day gift. I called the store several times but no one answered until 2/16. I finally spoke to the manager and she hung up on me twice. I would like a refund and will never order from this location again. Don't order from this location. They have horrible customer service!!!!!!

TLDR: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION. It will either arrive rotten or not at all.

I posted my 1 star review 4 years ago. Original review below. I am updating it now as I gave them another chance. I ordered for Valentines day for my wife and daughter, in advance of the holiday. They never showed up. I waited close to 7pm before I called to check on the order status and no one answered. I checked shipped policy and it stated that orders could be delivered as late as 9pm on busy holidays. I waited till 9:15, no order, no call, no update. I input the form online telling them to just cancel the order as they didn't deliver on the date requested and to just refund the money.

Next day they called my wife and just gave excuses and said they would be out to deliver it. No one showed up as they stated, no one ever called me the person that placed the order. Worse yet in tracking of the website it states Delivery Attempted. That was never done. If the manager of the location wants to dispute that I have 2 cameras that I can produce the 48 hour camera footage for. I ended up just filing a charge back on my credit card as I have a feeling its the only way I will get my money back.

Horrible. Received rotten fruit. If you call them to tell them, they place you on hold and never pick up again. When you call back you go right to hold or they just hang up on you.

Disappointing is an understatement! My hubby placed an order in the morning on Valentine’s Day. Instead of them saying they couldn’t fulfill the order they waited all day and then told us it couldn’t be delivered until the morning. Well morning came and went and still no order. I called to cancel and they told me my order is in the car on the way. I said ok. An hour passes and I’m just over it at this point. Valentine’s Day is over. Now I just want a refund.

Not impressed at all. Ordered the large option and it wasn’t nearly as big as the picture. Also they didn’t include the vase that was on the receipt.. they sent me an email at 11:09am saying it was delivered.. it was actually delivered at 4:00pm I wasted hours calling over and over again never to get through to the store. The phone puts you on hold then hangs up on you eventually. The 1800 number wasn’t any better.. save your money!!

I love edible arrangements!! For my anniversary I got a vase full of fresh flowers, a fruit platter, chocolate chip cookies and a delicious cheesecake. The way they decorate their fruit is absolutely incredible. They always come up with the most beautiful designs and the fruit tastes amazing here at the DOUGLASVILLE location!!
The cheesecakes are amazing rich with flavor.

Ordered some chocolate covered strawberries for my wife and baby girl and strawberries looked nasty and old not fresh at all really disappointed to have paid for something that just went in the trash (update) they made right after the last batch and sent a fresh batch of chocolate covered strawberries to my wife (second pic)

Same Day Delivery and website does not explain cutoff for specific time of delivery. Store employees repeat same thing about no guarantees on delivery. A little more guidance on delivery is needed from website. Not satisfied on assistance or empathy in regards to this special occasion. Was told I am one of many customer orders. Had to request change of address for delivery, not offered.

My daughter was nice enough to send me an arrangement for Mother's Day. I wish she hadn't wasted her money at the Douglasville location. I think they got an attitude because we were at church and missed the delivery yesterday. My daughter is in Germany and added her German phone number and name instead of mine, simple mistake. My husband called to ask for another delivery time and she rudely asked how old my daughter is!! Luckily, she was talking to my husband, who's laid back, because I would have had to say something about her insulting my daughter over a mistake.
I get called for a new delivery time and I told her we will be home and expecting her. Well, the doorbell rang, I went to the door not even 20 seconds later and find the tray sitting on the ground right in front of the door?! Why? I even have a patio table not even 5 feet away. She was actually still sitting in my driveway. Never again. I thanked my daughter, but I told her the issue and asked her to never order from them again. I will never order anything from them.

OMG where do I begin? I have ordered from the Camp Creek, Kennesaw, Austell and Douglasville location in search of the best fruit combined with the BEST customer service. DOUGLASVILLE IS THE WINNER!!! Jasmine is the queen of fruit making and I'll only go when she's working. The store owner was pleasant and helpful as well on my second visit. The entire staff was courteous and kind. They only serve the best quality fruit. The chocolate was layered on thick. The caramel was fresh. The apples were cut thick. You know what I mean if you've ever had a sub par EA; it's the little things that matter. This is my go to EA and I live further away from it than other ones but this one takes the cake! Thank you Douglasville Edible Arrangements!!!

My son bought an arrangement that included chocolate covered strawberries. He also purchased a half dozen chocolate covered strawberries and the strawberries were bad…not one good one in the bunch.

In March of this year, I decided to splurge and by the wife a fruit arrangement from the Edible Arrangements store in Douglasville, Georgia. I bought a basket that came with a smiley face balloon and I also added the six pieces of chocolate coated fruit in a separate box.
In order to "surprise" my wife, I asked her to stay at home that day. I got a call on delivery day, and the driver told me she was 7 minutes out. I texted my wife and told her to hang around. I got another call from the driver who said no one was home. My wife had run a very short errand and was within a couple of minutes getting back home. I asked the driver if she could wait a very short couple of minutes (I respect people's time) and she said she would if I would call her right back. My wife called during that short time and said she would be home immediately. I called the lady back and told her she would be home within seconds - I was also going to tell her to leave it with my next door neighbor (on either side of my house - we are friends with both). She said she left and the order would have to wait until the next day. Of course, I didn't like this as it was a very expensive ($82) gift I wanted to surprise my wife with. I told my wife to call the driver and asked to meet her in town. My wife wound up having to drive over 35 miles to the store to get the order. When she got to the store they shorted her the box of dipped fruit and the balloon.
I called the corporate office, and she said all they could do was deliver it later or take the price of the dipped fruit off. I told her that wasn't a very good deal since they spoiled the surprise and the birthday -- I was left with a few slices of cantaloupe and honeydew melon with a couple of pieces of dipped fruit in a big coffee cup - I had to pay around 60 bucks for that -- it may have been worth 6-10 bucks. Corporate wouldn't help me and rushed me off the phone.
The next day I called the Douglasville store and explained my side. The lady had NO interest in hearing my side. I did raise my voice and said I was screwed. I asked if the manager would call me and the lady said he would not. I plead my case some more and she hung up. I started looking on the internet for reviews of this store and they are overwhelmingly bad. I was told they couldn't guarantee the delivery time and I felt at these exuberant prices they should and could guarantee it - especially when the product must be refrigerated.
They care nothing that average people spend lots of money ($82 in my case) to give a loved one something special and they overwhelmingly mess it up!
I would tell anyone to RUN, NOT WALK from Edible Arrangements and the Douglasville store in particular. It is a total ripoff business with ZERO customer support.

Was out of the house when the arrangement got delivered, I left a note on the door to text me when they arrived so I could make sure someone would be able to to bring them inside as they were for my wife’s birthday. Not only did Jennifer text me but she actually spoke with my neighbor who was able to refrigerate them for me. VERY courteous and VERY professional. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Terrible customer service. Tried to get an arrangement delivered to a family member who lives in Douglasville (his relative passed away). Due to him traveling for the funeral he was going to be home on the day I called and I was hoping to get him something delivered. Nope- spoke to 2 different people said I could pick it up (I don’t live there!) or chose another day (he’s leaving again tomorrow for a few days). Don’t bother calling here- they don’t care or sympathize. By the reviews prior- I’m not surprised.

So I wanted to surprise my 14 year old grandson for his birthday he loves chocolate covered strawberries and pineapple..bad decision told the girl I wanted to spend about $50. I also said he wants lots of strawberries and pineapple and I'd like a balloon....she told me there's a $15 delivery fee ok..well he sent me a photo of his hot mess...there were 4 strawberries I pineapple flower I couldn't how horrible it looked and for the cost it was terrible I should have just sent a whole tray of strawberries because what he received didn't look anything like the photo advertised which he took a picture of it to send to me. This is his 1st birthday without his mom as she passed away in October so needless to say he's had a rough time and I wanted to fill his birthday with happy not tossed together. Ive don't edible arrangements for years this was the first time I've been disappointed but wished now I would have done a different choice thxs

Worst experience! Made an online order and when an Uber driver delivered my order in a personal vehicle not a company vehicle or employee, I noticed I was missing items and the Uber driver left with no information given to me other than your missing those items. So after waiting on hold for 17 min. I was finally able to talk to someone and request a refund. Never again will I do business with this company.

I wanted something special for my birthday. I decided to order a edible arrangements from Douglasville location.. The worst thing I could have done. I couldn't enjoy it..the fruit wasn't ripe, melons was hard and dry, the berries was mushy and gross.. I had to dispose the whole thing, I wasted 47 dollars on that order. I called to speak to them about it, an employee promised a manager would call me back...NEVER once did I get a call. I will never go there again. ...and would not advise anyone to order from them. Very disappointing experience ..and a loss of of money.

I love Edible Arrangements in Douglasville. I had the pleasure of speaking with Meagan over the phone. I must say I was very impressed. She was very helpful and patient as I decided which basket I wanted. I didn't feel rushed at all. She also sent me a couple of pictures via text to help me finalize my order. Meagan was very professional and offered amazing customer service. I don't want to leave out how beautiful the arrangement looked as well as the freshness of the fruit. Great, friendly, quick service. Lobby is small so they closed it temporarily for Covid but still open and happy to help. Plus they have online services that are pretty good.

I posted a long review of an unfortunate situation which I would like to call a simple misunderstanding...since my first encounter there was a little mishap, then I was contacted by a member of management who was concerned about how I felt about our situation and showed compassion and empathy. I just recently order from Edible Arrangements in Douglasville. They were a lifesaver. I need something prepared fast and delivered. I spoke with a beautiful young lady by the name of Megan. She was very professional and very attentive to my needs....you dont see customer service like that anymore. I recommend this place of business for anyone and not to the mention the fruit there is amazing. Keep up the good work guys.

My mother Birthday was August 15..Today..and it’s 10:00 and my mother order never arrived. I’m all the way in Ohio and my mother is in Douglasville Georgia so it meant a lot to me to be able to send her something from me. The driver told me to “just contact the store tomorrow for a credit “ but that’s not going to replace the time I lost I could never recapture the smile on a mother’s birthday..that is priceless.

I wish I could give them a negative star but it won’t let me. I have order from numerous edible arrangements but not once but TWICE I have only wanted my money back. Not only was this fruit AWFUL but the customer service was also terrible! PLEASE AVOID THEM!

Bought a Mother’s Day arrangement for my wife on May 10th today is May 11th and ALL the fruits are sour except the pineapples. We had them in the fridge. Will attempt again to call this store tomorrow as I am very disappointed and should have spent the $80 on flowers instead.

Douglasville location was very horrible. My order wasn't ready, my order was wrong an fruit was frozen. I asked for a refund an the man clerk got mad because of their poor customer service.

Not happy with this place. I placed my order a week before Valentine's day and requested morning delivery. It is now 11 AM and gift has not arrived. I called the store and was told it would be another 3 hours before delivery to a location that is right down the street from them. TERRIBLE SERVICE !! STAY AWAY !! My wife called them and spoke to Latoya and she said OH WELL !! I'm going to the news with this ! This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional !! Furthermore we are 3 miles away from them !!!!

Douglasville location Absolutely ruined our Valentines. My husband ordered an arrangement for me and they did not deliver it. They took there phone off the hook so he couldn’t call to get a refund. He had to go over there after work which put us to late for our dinner reservations. They didn’t say I’m sorry, can I make it up to you and no excuse for why they didn’t deliver.

I place an order online yesterday for deliver my order was never deliver. So i went to the store to pick my order up when i got there my order was wrong they gave me pineapple and strawberries instead of cookies and strawberries no sprinkles was on my cookies and the two ladies in front had poor customer service and was very rude....Another think i witness other people in the store under age and working with food without gloves on which i thought was very nasty

I recently purchased an edible arrangement to be delivered to my moms workplace. She absolutely loved it. The store that I ordered from unfortunately didn’t have the cupcake 🧁 base I wanted. But they were nice enough to call me and let me know so that I can choose from other options. Will definitely be making edible arrangements a yearly birthday gift for my mom :)

Arrangment was purchased as a gift for my family. The store made it the day before and was not able to deliver it and we were asured it would be made fresh the next day for delivery. The fruit was discolored and you could tell the fruit was not remade. The staff was to deliver it. We had to go pick it up because they lied stating we would be the first deliveryear and that it would be delivered by 11:00 but at 12:00 they still had not delivered. When called she stated they had not left for the delivery yet.
Would never recommend.

I will try to put into words how much I love this place. They are very community minded which is one reason I love them. When I was down for the count, twice, I had several friends minister to me with an edible arrangement. What's better than fruit instead of flowers? Fruit dipped in chocolate!!!!!! that's what!
Sam is one of a kind and has a great personality. I will certainly return!!

Don’t let the negative reviews stop you! I almost didn’t book because of that but I’m so glad I gave them a try! I ordered online the day before I needed my arrangement sent to my mother for her birthday and the next day they had it delivered by 1pm! So delivery was fast. I also called to try to get an estimate on when it might arrive and the gentleman who answered the phone was able to help me so customer service was great. My mom called me beyond happy! The arrangement was not only beautiful but they made sure to have the balloons I added as well as the fruit being delicious and fresh! What really made it extra special was that the lady who delivered the arrangement to my mother was super sweet. She couldn’t stop raving about how great the delivery lady was and how kind she was! I definitely will be using them in the future and would recommend anyone to give them a try. Thank you for making my mother’s birthday a special one!

I originally had a negative review due to my experience but the owner Sam apologized and personally drove to the recipients house and delivered a box of chocolate covered strawberries to apologize. I just learned he's the new owner as of last week and has plans to turn things around there. Thank you!

I got a delivery from them for Mother's Day and the fruit was NOT fresh!!! No telling how much my daughter paid for this arrangement only to have strawberries molding and pineapples that were on the verge of being brown. My family knows that I absolutely love edible arrangements but I was thoroughly disappointed this time.

The sign was on as OPEN, DOOR WAS LOCKED. I was there at 5:15 said it closed at 6. So, I couldn't pick up my delivery.. He called to tell me my order was ready at 430, but didn't answer the phone when I called back at 5:00 to tell him I was on my way. I will never order from this place again.. Bad service..

I have ordered several times from this location and every time I have had the best experience! I do not live in douglasville but my grandparents do and this place offers the greatest service with the best of help!! Not to mention the nicest staff. The driver helped to find my grandparents when they were not home to deliver their gift. I will always use this location.

The utmost disrespectful place of business I have EVER dealt with. “Charles” claims to be the owner and actually hung up the phone when I tried to discuss my refund. Why did I need a refund? Bc my order was placed on a Tuesday and by Thursday it had not been sent. I already made other arrangements with another company (which WAS succcessful by the way). I asked for a refund and was literally laughed at on the phone and then abruptly he said “BYE” before hanging up. Corporate has been a waste of time as well.

My husband went to order and arrangement today at 5 pm. He was turned down because the workers wanted to go home early. The sign on the door clearly said they are open until 7 pm. Where do they do that at?????? Poor customer service, pure laziness. I am so disappointed in this place.

I will never do this again. I put my order in on line at 9am. 5pm my order still wasn’t delivered. Every time I call asking about my order they say they can’t give me a time window. To be as expensive as it is the service sucks! DON’T DO IT!

I ordered some of the$5 hand dipped chocolates over the phone. When i got there to pick them up they were just in a bag and of course ready to tip over the minute they were moved. You really need some cup holders when someone buys more than one. Or even just some lids. The male employee suggested that I use something from in my car to stuff down into the bag so they didn't fall over. I maybe wouldn't have cared as much, but I was pretty disgusted by that suggestion given these were meant to be gifts.

This location is completely disrespectful they will come to your house. won't knock on your door leave a where are sorry we missed you Note on your door never even nocked! and won't come deliver to the next day so I'm like just give me my money back . Nobody has time to wait a whole Nother day for arrangements ! Don't waste your time with this location instead of being very happy and surprised he will be very very upset and sad. Ordered my arrangement a couple days in advance before Valentines Day, they never showed up for delivery never gave me a phone call letting me know they could not make it and when I got up the next morning to go get my refund they told me that the delivery came by I must not have been home but I was sitting next to my door waiting for them till about 1030pm and they're going to tell me that they came by at 9:40. Very unprofessional and unorganized. Will advise everybody I know to never order from this particular edible arrangements. If I could give this a negative star rating I would.

Recieved order of chocolate strawberries today of course like all reviews they were less than edible..the leaves were wilted the strawberries were not sweet and the leaked once you bit into them .For the amount of money paid you can actually we can do better by going to publix its way too much for this garbage thank you anniversary ruined. NEVER USE THIS LOCATION ask for a different location to deliver vs when you call the 800 number ask to be re routed. Recently had surgery and my wife's company sent this as a gift. It wa a nice gesture on their part, however it was not good at all. The fruit was no where near edible picked a week or so too early. A bag of oranges and bananas from Publix would have been much better. Will not recommend to anyone

Horrible service! Placed online order for same day delivery...store called and gave sob stories why they couldn't make delievery same day, but could the next day. Finally made delivery next day at 7 pm....so much for the time critical special occasion. Adding insult to injury, the arrangement was substandard to Edible's usual quality. Will NEVER use this location again!
