Kroger

I am approaching my third year of living in this area and this Kroger is by far the most disgusting Kroger I’ve ever been to. It’s always dirty. It’s always Half eating food and coffee cups stuck in between the shelves. No one wants to see that when they’re shopping for food, it’s ridiculous. I won’t be back because my stomach turns just thinking about how this store is kept…. Deplorable!

I came in there for some gas cuz i was gytin some to get home n the guy at the pump was a real sob to me lied to me about a hold on my card n then it wasnt going to let me get gas cuz the hold was more than i had i got a manager didnt catch his name lightskin guy in a green suit he said sorry to me bot me a drink n paid for my gas so i can get home thats good service and im real thankful cuz i woulda been stuck here

Very disappointed in Kroger we had a storm come Thur and Kroger jacked up the prices the day after. We've been shopping at Kroger everyday for 7 years now I m thinking about going somewhere else for now on.

The store was a complete disaster! I was kicked out of the store in the middle of an Instacart order! Worst customer service ever. If the store was short of staff then they should close early like most of the other grocery stores. The personnel didn't even offer to help me find the items I needed. This is why I shop at other stores 😉. I won't be back to any Kroger stores.

I love this store and stop here almost daily. I'm very sad to see that they have started charging for the EV charging stations though. They are always in use so I find it hard to believe they were losing money on that amenity.

Currently at the Hwy 5 location in Douglasville and it’s 8:05am. I’m assuming this lady is the manager for this department. I asked her if she had any catfish nuggets and she replied “we don’t do that until 10am..” Then she said tidy’s company wide. It’s her and another person here that can just grab the fish being the back. If you don’t like your job just say that. You’re in customer service and I know it only takes a second to grab the fish. She looked at me like I’d there anything else and walked off. I’m definitely making sure my family doesn’t shop here again and anyone I know.

I visited this location today to get some beautiful flowers for my grandmother to whom is in the hospital after suffering
a stroke. I chose a red white and blue theme for the holiday. When I went to checkout the flowers rang up 19.99. I questioned this as they were sitting on a shelf with a sale sign for 9.99. I then spoke with an associate who said No they were not that price an I could go choose another as she kept grabbing my arm trying to make me understand completely invading my personal space. I kept pulling my arm away she just kept getting closer. I then asked to speak to a manager. They called the flower associate who also told me she could not change the price. I then spoke to a manager and showed him where I found the flowers under the 9.99 price. I explained my situation and he said sorry I can't changed the price. I then told him that was terrible customer service as they were clearly marked wrong. I then asked for his name to which he would only say MR Williams. This was definitely a chance for them to take care of someone in a distraught state who was worried about their loved one but instead decided to just be rude and not correct THEIR MISTAKE! Terrible customer service!!

It’s not a horrible place to shop at if you need a few things and you’re in a pinch. Just better hope you’re able to find those items. If you have enough time, you might be able to find it cheaper or at a better price at the Walmart up the street. The staff is friendly. For some reason every line is always open but they’re all long so prepare to wait when you’re ready to checkout

Now I see why my mom uses instacart faithfully. The lines are are so long that you can’t even walk throughout the store comfortably. You have to strategically plan your shopping route due to the lines being all the way down the aisles. Not to mention, they never have anything in stock-shelves always bare. This location desperately needs more cashiers. I’d rather pay the extra dollar at Publix just so I can avoid the long checkout lines and to avoid the anticipation of not being able to get everything I need.

Last night around 845 I came into the store after 12 hour shift with patients. I was tired and rushed through the store. I got the check out the cashier and another lady was fussing about who was leaving first. Then she asked someone to bag for her and he was playing a game on his phone and she was still fussing saying why didn’t she leave at 8. The the bagger and her was using the f-word like nothing. Customer service in this store is awful
Note to self never step into that store again.

I have been going to this Kroger ever since I moved in the area a couple of years ago and getting money orders. Ever since the end of 2022, the service desk is rarely open. Soon enough I may not ever shop here but rarely.

I gave it one star because this the worst place to do instaCart orders. They never have everything the customer wants. And not just one or two items its often half of the list. Neither kroger can keep anything in stock.

One of the worst grocery stores in the area. Self checkout is always full because there are never actual checkout lines open for people with large carts - or they're open and the employees don't turn the light on. Very rarely will there be someone bagging groceries when the normal checkout lane is open. Items can be difficult to find especially when shelves are emptied in favor of large displays throughout the store that make it difficult to avoid running into other shoppers or the employees. Employees tend to lean toward apathetic or hostile in their attitudes.

Multiple stockers were annoyed that I was shopping in there aisle. When I said “excuse me” or “sorry” as I moved pass them they just stared at me. One had headphones in and almost ran into me because he did not hear that I was there. Kroger is really losing my faith lately.

Waist of.good property! Slow Pharmacy, Store had 2 cashiers open with long lines. Most of the self check out was open with long lines. KROGER is trying to do business w/o people and is failing fast. I hate the thought of going.

Every time you go in here it’s 1 register open if you’re lucky and they expect you to do self checkout. If you ask they will blame a labor shortage and the people or a generation “laziness” but they will have minimum 2 employees monitoring self checkout to make sure no one is stealing from the store to effect their profit margins.

This is the worst Kroger I've ever gone to in my life, the tall black Manager are so rude too be totally honest with you almost every one that works in the store has a bad attitude. Give or take a few like some of the guys that pull shopping 🛒 the store is very nasty and you can smell the Sea food department when you first enter the store do they ever clean it? And for about two months the money order meshing hasn't been working. I'm so sick of this store I now go too another Kroger near by better service better Manager and a lot cleaner.

Not trying to be negative but this place is pretty bad. The aisles are crowded with extra displays/products making it hard to move around. Usually only 2 of 5 cashiers at the checkout. They replaced other cashier lanes with 3 self-checkout kiosks that have never worked. The self-checkout kiosks that do work are always a hassle to use. Plan on having your patients tested

I bought a coffee cake from the bakery and there was hair in it. I never liked this Kroger, so I’m not suprised. It’s sad that I live so close this one and would prefer to drive 10 minutes to the other one.

I can't even go in this store in the winter. Do they not have any heat? I go to Chapel Hill Road Kroger now, much warmer. I have a condition where my fingers turn white in cold temperatures. The last time I was in it, it was colder in the store than outside. Other customers were also complaining. I've lived in this area for awhile and this store has always been freezing in the dead of winter. Turn on some heat, or get it fixed. Your running customers off!!

Agree with Chris B, every Instacart order from this location involves endless texts and photos re: unable to locate items. Seems they should be able to publish up to date inventory to Instacart to prevent this burden.

This is my favorite Kroger store. Why you may ask? Besides them always being stocked & I mean ALWAYS, this store is clean & the atmosphere is so welcoming. Kroger trains it employees to engage you, but these folks here are like family. They go above & beyond the customer service experience. From the blonde lady who does the flowers to Karen in self checkout. The staff at the location make a life a little easier. I sometimes overspend due to me enjoying my shopping experience.

Bought a bag of pears on Friday. Saturday morning they were spoil. The clerk that waited on me this morning seems lile she was rushing me. Friday i paid for 3 cases of water and a watermelon took the bagger a while to get the items and load to car.

I am a little Kroger customer. This is not my normal store, but because of the fact that I work doordash and I usually work from highway 5 when I need things at night before I go home this is the store I go to 95% of the time they have what I need.

The experience has been really bad the past several visits. There is never anyone to check you out. Store associates have been rude and unwilling to be bothered. They would rather talk to each other than do there job. I didn't realize having someone ring up your groceries was such an inconvenience. I am beyond words for how I was spoken to.

Over the past month I’ve had horrible experiences
With the pharmacy here. There is a lady there who is very rude and does not give accurate information when I asked about transfers of medications.
When getting refills they take longer then six hours to prepare . When I asked when Is the perfect time to pick up my medication They give me a certain time
But then when I go to pick it up they give me an hour more and another more. I’ve had to make three trips just to pick up medication.
Please beware of this location and go to one that will treat you better and give you the correct information and medication that you need.

The deli service is horrible, and it’s been like that for a while. On 01/18/21 it took them 25 minutes to start serving me and it was only 2 customers in front of me, and they had very small order requests. The lady was moving like molasses going up hill in 32°weather. The lady from the bakery came over to assist and if she moved any slower, she would have been standing still. 25 minutes! Fast and efficient is none existent. SMH

This is a huge building filled with a wide array of restaurants, juice bars, and a few breweries to choose from. Kroger are the most prevalent cuisine but you can find just about anything you’re looking for. It just depends how long the line is for what you’re interested in having. Best bet is to have one person order while the other looks for a place to sit which could take as long as it does for your food to be cooked. Fun lively loud place.

ZERO STARS!!! Ordered several hundred dollars worth of food to be delivered. It was left out in the rain at my neighbors house. My mailbox has my last name and the address printed in big bold letters. How lazy do you have to be to throw my groceries in to my neighbors porch like you are competing in the hammer throw in the next Olympics???!!!! Thank god my neighbor is kind and thank god he has video cameras. I think social media would get a real kick out of this BS. Not like this person isn’t clearly recognizable.

Her approach is unhappy, hateful towards her job, and honestly, there are so many other competitors in the area that would be happy to have the dollar in their cash register. Get her out of there!!

Had an awful experience with the cashier “Lacey “ today she was very dry and blunt no greeting and was rushed the whole time . When coming to her register , felt discriminated against because I clearly heard her greet everyone else before me until I arrived with my WIC booklet .. if needing assistance with groceries for your child /baby is something that’s frowned upon in any cashiers eyes or anyone working at a grocery store in general they shouldn’t be working there it’s life , and help may be needed . As for Kroger I shop there very often but situations like this make you want to shop elsewhere and the mangers should take heed to complaints like this your employees represent your company , not a good feeling or good representation .

Deli service was awful...I waited for about 15 minutes only not to be served .. while the two workers never acknowledged me. Finally after the two had not so pleasant words with each other as to why he did not tell her we were trying to get her attention for few minutes.... She finally decided to wait on us with attitude..... ... After speaking to the asst. Store manager .. Really.. he didn't care..... I did walk out leaving my cart....Worst Service Ever!!!!!!!... On my way to Publix..!!!!

This store lacks customer service and it seems as if they’re constantly out of the same products. Sometimes the shelves will be empty. Olivia at the customer service desk is always rude. Every time I have to deal with her she has a bad attitude and doesn’t want to help. Ask her a question or try to explain something to her and she rolls her eyes, doesn’t listen to you explain, cuts you off when you’re speaking. We normally shop at this location several times a week, but we won’t be coming back to this location after having the same experience over and over.

Good evening. Last month I had major surgery and took to the bed to heal up. Last Sunday I knew it was time to start moving around again, get back to my daily routine, so I got up extra early and went around the block to my nearest Kroger. It was early so I know the crowd would be down and I would not be in anyone’s way. After an hour of shuffling around I made my way to the self checkout where I met Joy. Joy saw that I was a bit out of sorts and offered her help. She never rushed me. She allowed me to do what I could and when there was something I could not do, she stepped in. She was kind and warm and such a blessing to me that morning. We all know Kroger has great prices, and that they are cleaned and well stocked. That is why we go there, but it’s employees like Joy that bring us back.

I live in east point but i shop at this Douglasville kroger.it always has what i need.also great pharmacu people and deli.but im not able to always come this far so please please dend new people to run your east point location on Cleveland ave.i never find what i nred must less want.its seldom to get a gallon of buttermilk and never i mean never stock frozen foods.i have not once found turnip greens frozen.i may can find one pkg of okra.its dirty and i have found bad out of date meats and dairy and tried several times to tell the manager but he does not care .they even told me once to go to another store if i vouldnt find things.so please make all your stores great.
