My boy has been asking for a new bat for Christmas. He’s 8 and spending that much on a bat is nerve racking but it’s his big present so mamas going to come through. I made a mistake on my order and was on the phone with the young ladies in the store 4 times. They were so pleasant and helpful and really put my mind at ease!! I highly recommend shopping at Gable Sporting Goods no matter where you’re located. Big thank you from Ohio!!!

Wife went up there to buy 2 guns I had found online that they had in stock. She had screen shots of the guns and knew what they were. After showing pics of the guns and asking to verify with employees they were the right ones she came home with the wrong version. She went to get the Taurus tx22 competition 16 round because we live in a freeish state but came home with the 10 round version. Now she called and they said they would swap out the mags and they did 2 of the 3. That's all they had. The problem is there is a rebate on TX22 right now that you get 3 mags free so now we'll get 3 free 10 round mags for a total of 4 10s when we should of had 6 16. That's about $100 worth of 16 round mags we won't have. I don't know if they did it on purpose but it's really unacceptable. They charge a premium for their firearms and should provide premium service to go along with it. After having bought 5 guns from them in the past few weeks I can tell you I won't be back. DO BETTER...

This place is the best. Small family run sporting goods store . I'd recommend them to any one they usually have what you need and if they don't . They will get it. Go in and ask for rome smith top flight service whether your spending 5.00 or 5,000.00 you'll be treated like first class

Arrived on 11/16/24 and never greeted. Young lady eating pizza acted as if I was interrupting her day. Went to purchase a firearm. No staff ever acknowledged me. Took my money and business to another customer service business.

Great place to buy archery equipment I bought my Bowtech Diamond Edge Max here and it has been the best bow I've ever had and I got it for a great price and the bow tech tuned it up for me just right I've shot 3 deer with it already and haven't missed one yet thanks guy yall are awesome

This place is incredible! The friendliest, most knowledgeable, kindest staff of any similar store I've ever been in. I mean truly intelligent people work here. They are patient and understanding. Literally stood there and answered every question I had on every gun/item I wanted to see until I was finished. Showed me anything I even asked a question on. Took it out of the case or out from behind the counter immediately without the slightest hint of annoyance even after MANY times. I LOVE THIS STORE AND THEIR STAFF!!

Best bow shop ive been to. i drive an hour each way to come here for dustin to work on all my bows. Hes done multiple for me and is extremely precise when it comes to tuning and easy to work with. Couldnt recommend enough for an archery shop.

I recently worked with Gable to create T-shirts for an upcoming event. Patrick did an absolutely fantastic job. The professionalism, communication, and customer service was top-notch. When I went to pick them up, all the employees in the store asked me multiple times if I needed help or had been helped. It just goes to show how vital customer service is to them! Does this place even need reviews, best sporting good store around. Used them for years for football, baseball, fishing, shooting and out doors fun. It’s not like academy it’s more like a pro shop and can help you with any sporting good you could ask for.

Reasonable prices on guns, not the best, but reasonable. They have a good selection and should have something to meet your needs unless you are looking for something very specific, and then like pretty much any dealer they can order it for you. The value of hands on service has a value all its own.

We've used Gable for hunting, fishing, team uniforms, uniform alterations, and now letterman jacket. We absolutely love the staff and service. I was pleasantly surprised with the quoted cost for my sons jacket. Can't recommend them enough!

Especially the people over at the gun counter they've helped me with many things and they are there to help you aswell and know what they're talking about they've helped me with questions and looking for stuff that'll work well with my firearms it's the kinda place where they don't seem bothered when you have questions or are looking for something they genuinely wanna help you. Long time customer. Bought many products and traded-in almost as much. I got fair trade-in prices before. Not anymore. The Iast two times l went in for trade-ins I received horrible offers. l was told to take or leave. l traded them in anyway because l really wanted something else on their shelf.
I also do not feel welcomed anymore. You stand around a Iong time waiting for heIp and when you receive it you wish you hadn't bothered waiting.
They no longer have a variety of ammo nor good prices on the ones they have. l don't know what happened to this once great pIace. I will just take my business elsewhere with on-line dealers. They won't receive my recommendations nor my patronage anymore. Please, shop around and compare prices from now on.

As a First Time Buyer, they made me feel very comfortable. I had no knowledge of gun handling and felt uncomfortable handling them. Well, they are so kind, knowledgeable and highly professional without any judgment. I walked out with the right pistol and kit for me. As well as, more confidence from the quick education on how to properly handle my firearm. I wish I could remember the young man's name who assisted me but it's been months since my purchase. However, I will be back soon because the customer service is excellent. Wherever you are located ... make the drive there. It's totally worth it it . Trust me !!!

Gables is awesome. The archery staff is great and super nice and knowledgeable. The customer service is beyond outstanding. I went and got 12 arrows, which wasn’t cheap. By accident, the arrows were all cut too short. I reached out and they graciously gave me all new arrows and cut them to the right size, free of charge.

I can’t say enough good things about this place and the knowledgeable staff and customer service.

If you are looking for a new bow, or just want to get it worked on, Gables is the place to go. I recently purchased a bday Harley helped me through it. He helped me pick out a new Hoyt, set it up for me, and got me some arrows with it. I’m fairly new to archery so his expertise was really appreciated. I didn’t feel pressured, or felt like I was lead wrong. I got a really good deal and confidence that I found a business that I can turn to for any future items/services that I will need.

I've been a repeated customer of Gables over the past year, for a reason. These guys are friendly and knowledgeable. They do not use pressure techniques for sales. They aren't the biggest store, and that by design and good thing in my opinion. Usually they have a good variety from entry level used stuff to custom 1911's. I recently had an order shipped to them and they handled the process like I'd made the purchase directly through them. Like I said earlier, I'm a repeat customer, for a reason.

My comment isn't a result of a purchase but rather a recognition of winning company culture. I sold a bow of mine and needed to ship it. I couldn't find a box to ship it in anywhere. I made a box that would have cost me $159 to ship - clearly, I overdid it! I called at least six archery stores who had little interest in helping me. Only Gable 's said to bring it into the store and they would find something for me. From the moment I walked in, everyone had a smile. A young woman directed me to a pleasant young man who got assistance from the man in the archery section (who was terrific). He gave me a box that fit the bow perfectly and cost only $34 to ship! This is how to build a strong cutomer base. Thank you to all at Gable's.

I came in here to "window shop" for a new gun. Wasn't planning on actually buying one at the time, as I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted or if I could even find one within my budget. The folks there wound up being an immense help in helping me finding something within my budget that felt both comfortable and nice to use, and before I knew it, I had made up my mind on the spot to purchase a new gun right then and there. The service here at Gable's was amazing, and their selection of guns even moreso. The guys working the gun section were very helpful in helping me pick out a gun, the right magazines, and the right sights. I've already decided that the next time I need a gun accessory or another gun altogether, I'll definitely be coming back here. Also, family friend of mine - Darryl - works here. Wish I had the chance to see him and say hey, but he was at lunch by the time I showed up. Very sad about that, but there will always be a next time! With that said, keep up the awesome work! You've earned yourselves a new returning customer!

Worst Customer service experience I have ever received. Ordered 8 items for School Sports on October 27th, 2021 did not receive any of my order until December 16th 2021 and only received 4 of the items. Of those 4 items only 1 of them was truly worth the money. The Team Warm up Pants were way to LONG size fit but leg length was for a tall person so can't wear them. The Team logo on the Tee shirt looked like it was for a size small shirt and printed on a 4X-large shirt the logo wasn't even centered on the chest of the Tee shirt and was way to high up close to the neck line.

I had to call them to find out the the sale person that took our order no longer worked for them. They told me the new person taking over the account would call me the next day. a week later still no contact. The Week of Thanksgiving finally got in contact with new person only to be told that the Mesh Backpack, custom Wresting Head gear and 2 wrestling knee pad would not be provided because they couldn't get their vendor to respond to their requests. $289 worth of gear ordered $135 worth of gear delivered and out of that only $60 was worth the money or time.

I was told well you got your money back on the items we didn't deliver I don't know what your complaining about. Maybe the fact that you didn't provide the service you sold, you lacked the customer service skills to contact customers and let them know what was going on. you had my e-mail address, my phone number and my home address why did I have to call you, come to your store and hound the sales team to get answers about my order and was never notified that a refund would be given until last week.

I will NEVER do business with them again.

This was an excellent store. They had a great selection and it seemed that everything on the shelf was useful. It's not a huge big box type sporting goods store so they ensured if it's on the shelf it's a sought after item, no wasted space.

I live in Texas and after calling over 30 gun stores in my state I decided to look online at anyone that has the gun. Gables was literally the only store that had the gun in stock out of 10+ google search pages and literal hours of calling around. I am now a proud customer of Gables and can say that I own a firearm from Gable Sporting Goods. The customer service was exceptional, Blaine Gable helped me and she was amazing. Blaine contacted my local FFL almost immediately and set up everything for me. I will make it a point in my life to someday come down to Georgia just so I can shop here in person. Thank you and I will recommend this place to everyone I know.
