Publix Super Market at The Shoppes at Deer Creek

The employees are great, unless you are unfortunate enough to have to deal with anybody in the deli area. Will talk about how much they hate their job right in front of you! If you try to avoid them by ordering a sub online…don’t expect it to be ready anywhere near the promised time. After driving there and waiting around, we were told 10 minutes after our pick up time that they were out of stuff to even make our sub. Stopped by customer service on our way out, they didn’t care. My husband left our cart of stuff right there and left.

Good food, the deli is amazing. Very friendly staff and I love the bakery as well. My favorite is the Strawberry & Peach Sensation Cake and the Chantilly Cake, delicious.

I can honestly say that when it comes to Publix, visiting that store never disappoints at all. Publix is like Chick-fil-A for fast food restaurants. The customer service is awesome, and the whole experience is a vibe and relaxed.

My pregnant wife and I visited Publix to get a pub sub and just like usual it started to get crowded, but Bryan was masterful at helping someone who appeared to be new at the job but also catering to our needs . As we sit here and eat our subs we can confidently say it’s the best it’s ever been made. Thank you so much, Brian! Happy wife happy life 🫶🏾

Not sure what’s gone on with this Publix seafood area use to be so polite but the black lady who I’ve had two encounters with in the seafood area seems to always have an attitude and always so rude ! It’s like she doesn’t want to help out will also ignore you for a bit until she’s ready to take your order

This is probably the worst Publix. It’s a shame because it’s the closest one to me. Every time I order my sub online they are NEVER ready on time. This happens every week. All of the deli associates are rude and ignore people. AWFUL. And the fruit is always moldy. Do better Publix.

I go here to cash my check, the wait has always been a little lengthy at least at the service desk anyway, it seems like at the service desk it takes 4 employees to wait on 1 customer that gets over priced for an item

I always put in my mobile orders two weeks no later than three days in advance no matter the department I am ordering from however, when I ordered a sushi platter two weeks in advance, they never made it yet it was still pre-paid for. to rectify this issue, they tried to give me a fruit platter and they had none of the fruit that I wanted ready or prepared. I got my daughters first birthday cake there and it was supposed to come with a smash cake not only did they get the flavor wrong, but I had to get a manager to tell the other bakers that cake was supposed to have a smash cake with it as was their promotion at the time as well as I ordered a black forest cherry cake with chocolate bar three days in advance and when my mother goes to pick it up, they have put chocolate shavings on the cake instead and also gave beat up and what looked like expired cherries on top of the cake. when I called about the issue with the cake I was on a 15 minute hold and when I went to try and return the cake, I was told there was no baker in store and that the baker could remake it in the morning, however would not be ready until Tuesday when I needed it for the birthday on Monday.

Always friendly and helpful. Great vatiety of the goods I buy. Fresh produce. Best frosting of all on their baked goods! Add today was even better than usual! Help unloading cart to conveyor belt! If it wasn't for the manager standing in front of customer service completely blocking customers from getting help as he conversed with just one man it would have been the perfect shopping trip. Literally could not get to any of the ckerks and seemed put off when one of his clerks politely asked him to move a little! BUYER BEWARE!! After coming across numerous refrigerator items that were passed sell date I came across the last 6 publix chip dips ALL passed sell date!!! Check your dates people...check your dates or eat spoiled or soon to be spoiled foods! But such wonderful people!

I have been repeatedly frustrated by this publix. I order a sub online, it says it takes 40 minutes. It doesnt. I show up and wait in line for another 30 mins.
I wait an hour after ordering next time. Still not ready.
I wait 1.5hrs after ordering the time after that. Still not ready.

The deli section here is completely incompetent and you should expect to wait no less than two hours for an online sub to be ready. (Even if its promised earlier). The employees do not care at all.

If your sub is ready when you get there, it will be correct maybe 75% of the time.

Extremely overpriced. Their buy 1 get 1 is actually about 20% off most of the time when compared to Wal-Mart etc

Multiple times I've ordered subs online and they're never on time every time I come the drink machine is never correct either the ice makers broke or the cokes not filled up for the cokes filled up and the ice makers broke. So today I'll order it online it was supposed to have been ready at 12:05 I got there at 12:22 it was not ready nobody had even started it they finally got it done I paid for it walked outside got in the car to bite into it and the paper and everything was soaking wet from the sauerkraut and it was barely toasted the meat was cold in the middle I brought it back inside they remade it now it's 12:42 and I'm finally leaving and late to my appointment

Standing in line at the deli and being waited on by Lanese and Pamela for salads. It’s 7:40 and they are acting as if I am getting on their nerves for asking for food. I am aggravated because Lanese is acting as if she doesn’t want to be there and Pamela is trying to help her and now she is becoming agitated!! The horrible part is they are saying what food they don’t have in the grocery store because it’s close to the deli closing. This is not how Publix used to be in Douglasville! Now people don’t want to work and it’s obvious. Find some better workers in the deli. I am going write a review EVERYTIME!!

A MUST READ When placing an order a week in advance from the bakery call 3 days prior to make sure your order has/is being processed called about my order Tonya Bakery Manager had NO Knowledge of order even after I told her that KAŸLA and I had an discussion for 15 minutes or more about cake was supposed to be decorated argued with me about Ballons/Flowers saying Kayla have had to mention it to me because she's the cake decorator which she didn't made said cake would be ready within the hour of talking to her cake so badly decorated just plaint Store manager seen dissatisfaction but was still out to make a coin Tonya nor store manager had any compassion about the customer just wanted me out of thaie way after trying to put add ons to the cake I paid 50+ dollars for some sweet crumbled cornbread with frosting NEVER AGAIN CORPORATE CAN EXPECT A CALL FROM ME

Great store!! It is very clean, and the shelves are kept neat and organized. The food at the deli is normally great. The customer service is excellent, and returns are easy. Most stores gripe about you returning stuff, but not here. Good selection of merchandise. This is a delightful store for grocery shopping.

I’m disappointed in the hot food department in this location. I came in early around lunch and they had No chicken. This has been an ongoing issue and we end up having to drive to other locations to get what we need when this location is less than 5 minutes away from my home. The employees are not very pleasant and act as if they are annoyed when you ask them questions.
