Daley's Restaurant

Daleys is hit or miss. Chicken wings are consistently good, that's about it. I purchased 2 pieces of sweet potato pie and it was a soggy, stringy mess. Absolutely terrible. They precut the pieces and refrigerate. They probably didn't let it cool all the way first and condensation made the crust soggy. Filling was loose, lumpy, stringy, and lacked flavor. They probably cld have cooked it longer as well. Pass on the pie. I called the restaurant and the manager was apologetic.

Great food, reasonably priced, large portions. The restaurant very clean although the bathroom could use some work. My friend didn't like they did not offer to refill h÷r coffee.

Great fried chicken wings, club sandwich, burger. Also some southern favorites like biscuits and gravy, grits, chicken and waffles, and peach cobbler. Friendly servers, but bring cash if you can since they have a credit card charge.

I went here because they had good reviews, but let me tell u the customer service was extremely negative! From walking in the door to be seated the lady had an attitude rolling her eyes as I walked off. The waitress was ok, even though we had several different people serving our food, which I didn't like! Smh.
The food was bland even though I tried putting all types of condiments on it! The only thing that I was able to eat was my catfish filets. Other than that the food is tasteless and not edible and customer service is extremely negative and rude! The vibe there was ok. WONT BE RETURNING THOUGH.

Ordered with Instacart Ubereats Salmon croquettes, cheese grits, eggs scrambled well with cheese, Texas toast, sweet potato pie, coffee and orange juice. Beverages were missing. Got refunded.
The portions were generous enough to feed 2 people, so the following week I reordered the same thing, but without pie and beverages, and shared it with my wife.
Tasty meal. About $30.
After reading all the other reviews, I'm ready to try something else from the menu. This beats a heated frozen entree from the Dollar tree by a clear sight.

So if you’re gonna go on a Sunday, you gotta make it in before 3pm to sit. The lady at the register was kind and helpful but the food was just ok. The Mac & cheese tasted like some old cafeteria version and there were strings in my sweet potato pie so that threw me off but the chicken and the fish was good

Ordered with Instacart Ubereats Salmon croquettes, cheese grits, eggs scrambled well with cheese, Texas toast, sweet potato pie, coffee and orange juice. Beverages were missing. Got refunded.

I ordered an egg and turkey sausage breakfast sandwich. It was so good but the services was unorganized. My food been ready but they had too much going on and not realized my food was done and in their faces the whole time. FOOD WAS GOOD ASL THOUGH, so i’m not that mad.

It has a good atmosphere the service is pretty solid. I live right down the street so I visit it more than normal. I would say it’s typical diner food but the atmosphere and service is what makes it nice. I would compare the food to IHOP or dennys. Overall 3 out of 5. They can do better on the food presentation

Los meseros atienden de mala actitud. Comida insípida (arroz, omelette, biscuits). La mesera omitió traerme un tenedor y cuando lo solicité, lo trajeron de mala gana.
La comida fue tan mala que pedí para llevarla pensando que en casa podría mejorarla. Mejor la tiré a la basura. Salí de este lugar con hambre, tiré mi dinero a la basura y decepcionado. NO LO RECOMIENDO, gasten su dinero en algo mejor.
Bonus: no hay estacionamiento y corres alto riesgo de estacionar tu auto en lugar prohibido y la grúa se lo llevará. Mucho cuidado

The menu was very limited didn’t have a lot of stuff and they just open at 11 a.m. sit us by the bathroom littering 2 feet away. Server was not attended another server tried to help said he will be right back never came back. Experience was horrible

I've been here tweets now and loved both times. The food is delicious - well seasoned and cooked well. First time here I got the waffle with the strawberry topping which was amazing. The strawberry topping in made in house and you can tell cause the strawberries aren't completely mushy. 2nd time I split an order of the pancakes and a breakfast scramble with my partner. Both were so good. Only thing I would caution is that the scrambled eggs were a little soft/ runny so if that is a problem for you, I would recommend ordering them well done.

I've been to Daley's once before my recent visit, and I'm sure that I'll be back. I bought my Thanksgiving 🦃 dinner from Daley's. My meatloaf was excellent. The Mac and cheese was really good too. The highlight was the dressing, which is made the same way my mom makes it. 😋 It was damnlicious! The corn muffins was outstanding as well. I want to give a shout out to the staff. The customer service was very courteous and answered all of my questions. It's bad these days at almost EVERY restaurant l go to. In sum, I'll be back to Daley's soon, maybe for Xmas dinner. See you soon?

Daily's is an old staple in the neighborhood and I'm glad it's still around. The place is absolutely beautiful, very clean and the wait staff was very professional and attentive. The food is good and prompt.

This was my first time here. Though I ordered take out, I was assisted right away and I didn’t have to wait for the dish I wanted (soup) and my boyfriend LOVED IT!! Especially given the fact he was under the weather, this soup was 👌🏾. The staff was so nice and the vibe in there was super dope.

I ordered a chop steak sandwich which was pretty good. I also ordered an orange juice but that was water down. That's the reason for the 4 starts on the food.

I ordered Uber eats for breakfast on Saturday morning and our food was absolutely delicious the smothered potatoes were cooked to perfection our packaging was great all utensils were there thank you Daley's also one thing for sure it's only one Daley's food network

depending on whos my waitress i would give it a full 5stars - I remember when I first moved in the neighborhood. I came there and this older woman that was my waitress was sooooo sweet she reminded me of my own grandmother and someone who she was working with was kinda giving her a hard time. every time I go (which is enough) I try to see if I see her so she could be my waitress. foods good even tho they messed up on one of my orders before giving me cheese eggs and I made sure to say to cheese.

I didn’t enjoy my experience. I felt like the last option when it came being served. The waitress didn’t come to table to check on me to offer water or even a to go box. There was a problem with the food I ordered and also there was a hair on my plate that the waitress didn’t tell the kitchen about it when i told her, there was also something on my spoon when the waitress came and put it on my table. The lady at the register was kind and she even offered me a discount. This was my second time here and my last.

With their NEW hours till 6pm, I’m elated! Collard Greens are a MUST for dinner here at Daley’s. My picky eating spouse enjoyed the meatloaf, string beans, and yams; while my pot roast had so much flavor. OH and did I mention the COLLARDS! What a chill spot for a weekend bite before going home or out and about for the evening.

I’m from NY, on vacation. Seen the review had to try, we got burgers, turkey clubs, and French toast with bacon. Everything was great tasting and prepared nice. That season on the fries was smack. The service was nice and polite. Restaurant was clean and had a good identity. If you are in town give it a try, great food.

There was a little wait but once we were seated the food came quickly. Karen was our server and she was very attentive. We ordered salmon cakes which were seasoned well & my husband had a turkey egg white omelette which he said was good. Overall I would recommend it. It’s dinner food but it did what it needed to do.

I purchased Sunday dinner by ordering the turkey wing dinner. I was disappointed. I ordered mac and cheese as my side. The turkey was dry and tuff. The mac and cheese was horrible. It tasted like it was out of a box not home made. The corn dressing didn't taste any better it was dry as well. I will not be returning to this location. The food was not tasty at all.

Been coming here for year's before the new location. I stay in the suburbs so that should say something lol. I love that they offer fried fish, grits, salmon, u know southern foods! Love the older servers remind me of my aunties they have been working there for years they know they stuff. They're going to check on you and make sure your coffee cup stay full. Talking abt top notch customer service. I let them know 2 ways how i appreciate them 1 by tipping good and 2 with words. Love you ladies keep up the great work. The new location is bigger and the decor makes u feel welcome. This is why i gave them 5 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 🌟 🌟's

Food is great but some of the waitresses needs better training on how to talk to the customers Also you can't substitute items items on the menu so you're forced to have items you don't want and have to pay extra for the items you do want. I will not be returning go to Thomas restaurant they have better customer service and great food

Their new location directly across the street from where they used to be is nice looking at least.Unfortunately,the customer service especially nowadays at their new location across the street now is the infinite opposite of the exterior and interior of this restaurant.When i finally came in this new location today,I was not greeted with a warm welcome at all.None of the multiple female especially and male employees said Hello or How you doing,never mind a genuine smile on their faces to be genuinely grateful for the fact that I came an extremely long way from the North Side to eat there today.I went to the male restroom and inexcusably it was not clean like it was supposed to be.I like the stainless steel interior in there though,but it was also a dark and dingy looking atmosphere in there too though.The lighting in there is suspiciously dim for a restroom ladies and gentlemen.After witnessing that madness,I went to get myself a seat of my choice.This clearly older than me,but stank attitude female employee said "I have to wait to be seated".I told her respectfully that when they was across the street,they let you pick wherever you wanted to sit at.She said that's no longer the case at their new location.I also encountered a stank attitude male employee that was also older than me, talking about "sit down" aka get out of his way after wiping off some dirty tables.I gave him a respectful hand gesture for him to come pass me to go where he was trying to go,like a patient driver allowing a selfish driver to go first in congested traffic.After finally sitting at a table i wanted to sit at for about 10 minutes in a halfway empty restaurant,the stank attitude female employee extremely shockingly decided to become my waitress.I said "HELL NAW" to myself passionately,but low key though.She brought me a menu with a strawberry or raspberry finger print at the bottom of it.Very shortly after looking at the menu for a few minutes,she was like rushing me to order something,talking about "what do you want"?.Shortly after that,I decided to leave without buying anything.I told her "I'm Bouncing".She was looking at me and questioned me like she didn't get the hint.I stopped talking with my mouth and started talking with my feet.Now she knows what "I'm Bouncing" means,because they will never see me again ever.It was more than enough other female employees that could've became my waitress.I was hoping that my one and only favorite female waitress was there when they was across the street years ago,but from the looks of things she clearly doesn't work there anymore.

Been going since I could remember. My grandmother use work at Daleys, probably over 30+ years. Food has always been fire and love the building they moved too after leaving the original. (Which was across the street)

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions. The last time visiting, I had a waitress who should have stayed home that day. There were 3 of us, and she said she could not give us separate bills, which in previous visits, we were able to. We all also got carry outs, and she put everything on one bill. When we finished dining and went to the front to pay, the cashier had to figure out who had what breakfast item and what carry out order. The cashier admitted the waitress could have given us separate bills.

Honestly, not sure why I still come here, I guess I was hoping for a better experience but every time I come the customer service is mediocre (elderly waiters always have attitudes here like they don’t want to work and every time you ask him for something, you get an eye roll, I’m not paying my heart or money for horrible service anymore).

Also, the food is tasteless . Not sure who is working in the back, but I think that they’re taste buds him grown out of touch.

One time where I enjoyed my experience (out of the about 10 times I’ve been here). Every time I come here to disappointment and I brought my son today for the first time, he’s only 10, but he said let’s not come here ever again and I agree.

My experience was very ok... not good not bad just ok. It's a diner that looks like it wants to be special but the food (brunch: raisin French toast & chicken and waffles for my wife) quality was just ok for my wife and I. The look was good and the service was fair but the food won't bring me back... you make your decision on eating here

The waitress never to check to see if we needed anything else, I asked her for a refill on my coffee she stated no refills on it. We waited literally 45 minutes after we ordered our food, people came in way after us and they received theirs first. Then I asked her how much is for a half of order of French toast she pointed at a full order I told her that's not what I wanted. No season on the chopped steak especially no onions , no sauce it was dry

The service needs improvement. I've been twice and had horrible service both times. My latest encounter the service was so bad I left before even ordering. I was met with hostility soon as I walked in the door and once I was seated. I've had encounters with three different people who were mean, rude, and just plain disrespectful. The food was good, the treatment of customers was not.
