Sammy's Breakfast: Any of you know about truck stop food? Well, this is not a truck stop but it's a place that "everyone" goes to for quick and delicious meals. The menu is mind bending. There's only a couple of stools to eat at so 99% of the people are ordering takeout. It's really worth giving it a try.

First time spending money here and NEVER AGAIN. Absolutely ridiculous. I ordered two separate orders the first being a (big 2 French toast eggs scrambled with cheese bacon crispy) And the second order being (a ham and egg sandwich on rye with pickles on the side and a can of coke). After receiving both orders and giving the ham sandwich order to its recipient, we realized there was no coke. I returned with my receipt to retrieve the can of coke only to be told that the food I was given was someone else’s order that was suppose to be the ham and cheese order. So they told me keep the mix up food and here’s your can of coke and the correct second order. Once I returned with the correct food so I thought for the SECOND TIME. There was no pickles on the side that I was charged extra for. So the recipient for the ham and cheese order called in and notified them of that and it was handled. After all the back and forth I finally get to eat my own food I realize there is no cheese in my eggs. So I call back to notify them of that and they can’t take my name for a later date to correct my orde I have to come back today after I’ve doubled back already….. so you want me to come back for a third time after you messed up both orders. With no type of compensation at all. Absolutely the worst first time experience I have ever had at a breakfast place. Then I was accused of lying about not getting the can of coke that wasn’t even in my order and I don’t even drink coke…. Literally No words

I ordered through Uber Eats. The food was okay but the grits were absolutely horrible!! They tasted like something I've never ever had before. I tried putting salt in it and it didn't help at all. Please have someone show you all how to cook grits!

Ok. I am going to give them another chance because that pizza tastes like frozen cardboard. Ugh gross. And they just throw the slice on some foil paper and nothing else to hold it. Please Help them. I could've gotten a frozen home run inn for a better taste

The Hispanic lady has an attitude & think we have to eat there, people like that think we have to deal with them, People take ur Business to the Sammy's on 87th & Ashland, they Food is better anyway.

I ordered an Italian beef combination it was so bland I will not be going back here is a waste of money the pizza might be good but I'm not willing to try it the service was a young lady who was great why put three for the atmosphere is because it was empty so there was no good or bad atmosphere I gave it a two-star on rating because the food came out hot

This is my absolute favorite place to go for a quick take out breakfast. The food is always hot, fresh, and plentiful. The lady at the front counter is always friendly and quick to place your order.

The French toast has no flavor at all! Just egg batter on bread. Where’s the cinnamon, vanilla flavoring? This isn’t French toast! I gave two stars for the eggs and bacon.

The prices are very budget-friendly; the food was okay, never had grits from a Latino cook was presently surprised. Looking forward to next visit to see what other selections have to offer.

The don’t deserve any stars. The cashier in the morning is very rude and her attitude is gross and disrespectful. The food is not up to par small amounts for high prices. They are also very disorganized. Wait times are over 35min for a 2.99 special.

I ordered 3 eggs over easy with ham and grits plus toast. My eggs looked over easy but the yolk was solid as can be. The toast was warm bread with a dab of butter. This has been my 3 breakfast from them with the same outcome so I give up.

$1 Tacos on Monday and Tuesday, Chicken Beef or Steak, comes with Lettuce and tomatoes only. Good Deal in my eyes cause who doesn’t love $1 Authentic tacos 🤷‍♂️

Update: I went back here recently and they are running the same deal however the tacos have gotten extremely small, they are like mini tacos now not full sized and not worth my original review anymore.

I dont mine spending money on food if its worth it but they are too expensive and the lady seem like she was over charging me on purpose she charge me a dollar to pull my taco stuff on the side an instead of her telling me that sour cream come on it she charge me another dollar for that,an almost 14 dollars for eggs bacon and rice i look in the window after that they have rice an eggsfor $2.99 when i could have just add sum bacon maybe for less money.

Ordered Italian comb (beef and sausage) got home in south shore opened container and had just beef . Call store and was told I had to come back. Most places will take your name and number and offer free sandwich of the same Kind. Why should I be inconvenienced when I'm already inconvenienced by not having sandwich I ordered.

Great tasting food. However the customer service sucks. I waited 10 min to pay for my call in order while it sat their on the table in front of me. The PREGNANT or FAT cashier finally came from out back, she ignored me and start taking phone orders and bagging food for invisible guest that was not there. They also charge separately for each item. 55CENT for syrup. Beware of the hashbrowns they are soggy lbs.

I actually like the breakfast food. (I havent tasted the lunch/dinner) giving 2 stars for the customer service. The Latina girl who took my order is not nice, at all.
