Stay clear of this place! If you spend $40 for a meal, you should get value for your money. The employees were cursing, someone mentioned three times that a customer was in the store and they didn't stop. I watched them prepare my order and they gave me four biscuits when the menu indicated 6. When I asked how many biscuits came with the order, he told me 4. I asked him to look at the menu and he was clearly confused. I suggest finding another location for your chicken. They should be ashamed to serve drum sticks that are this small!

Had the worst Experience ever. 9-18-2023 around 930 pm, I stopped in using the drive through and when the lady came over the intercom she didn’t greet me she just went into saying “we only have spicy and mild chicken.” I ordered 2 breast and an extra biscuit with a side of mashed potatoes no gravy. When I pay the lady doesn’t give me a receipt, I have to honk my horn to get her to give me one. It’s dark so I don’t see what’s happening with the bag once I pick it up from the restaurant. I get home and I discover that the bag is absolutely saturated in grease, so much so that it has leaked through the bag and into my clothes and the seat of my car. I’m so pissed that I refused to eat it and of course when I get home no one answers the phone and they are closed. The mashed potatoes are cold and stiff and the biscuits are overcooked and not edible. I am in need of a full refund this is disturbing.

This is my second time visiting rhe location on 95th and Vincennes since they have been under new management. The food is fresh but has no flavor. The red beans and rice, I don't know what that taste is, but it's bad. I bought chicken tenders and asked for spicy - they were not spicy and again, no flavor. It's Cajun food. What's going on?

Just ok, customer service is not the best. Need to learn how to direct people ... Not Shepard them as if we r goats. Wings and legs so small Im not sure if the chicken was fully grown. The wait is very long. No one addresses you for at least 10 minutes. They don't even look at you because they are busy but no acknowledgment. The food is regular, and the restaurant is semi clean.

customer service is terrible at the drive thru the cashier turned his head mid conversation as i was speaking very rude then they told me to drive around to the parking lot to collect my food and they was going to bring it out once they brought the food out, They did not wait for me to check the bag and I end up having to go back inside because my two large sides were missing they did not apologize for missing these items, and gave it to me as if I were begging for what we paid for I would never come to this location again Do better please we are not animals

STAY AWAY! Under New Management. I’ve lived 2 blocks from this location for over 10 years now. Went there today and the first thing I noticed was a complete change in staff. Without getting into specifics, not a single employee was of American descent. I thought I walked into Subway at first… you get the idea… Anyways, the food was TRASHHHH! ALL OF IT…. The biscuits is the only thing that tasted the same. Very disappointing, as this has always been a quick family meal whenever we didn’t have time to cook. If management is reading this, y’all better get it together FAST! That substituted deformed & bland chicken ain’t fooling nobody. Along with those watered down sides!

I'm simply doing this review to say that there are really some good people still in the world. I went to this location at 3:40 pm today on my way to work. I ordered 6, sweet and spicy wings and a chilled mango lemonade. While we all know the prices are ridiculous that's not why I'm here. I got my food and drink and left. I got off work and went to get gas and couldn't find my credit card anywhere. I'm using all the cuss words looking everywhere for 45 minutes. I started to retrace my steps and realized I never got my card when I left there. I go back and go through the drive thru and tell them I'm missing my credit card. He asked my name and told me to pull around. The night manager gave me my card back and I couldn't thank him enough. It's crazy how many cards they have per day. It's solely because of the way they take payments. I should've been given my card in my hand along with my receipt. I'm just thankful to have my credit card back. Thank y'all for keeping it for me.

I had a taste for spicy Popeye's chicken so we went to this location on 11/1/23 after 8 pm. We ordered an 8 pc family meal which was either 21.99 or 22.99 on the menu, but we were charged 24.99. It came with 8 pieces of chicken, one large side and 4 biscuits.

We requested beans and rice and had mashed potatoes and gravy when we got home. My husband called and spoke to a manager and was told to come back to get the beans and rice. He came home with those items and more chicken, which was cool but he shouldn't have had to do that.

Only drive- thru service was available, which moved pretty quickly. The guy gave us our food and disappeared. We had to blow the horn to get his attention because we wanted honey for the biscuits. We wanted something else after that but left because the person didn't come right back to the window and we didn't know how long the wait would have

The food was disappointing. Some of the pieces were spicy, some weren't. There was 1 thigh, 2 breasts, 2 legs, 3 wings. I thought we were supposed to get 2 pieces of each part like we do at other restaurants when we order 8 pieces. While the spice was ok, the flavor was missing.

I commend the manager for responding to and correcting the mistake with the side. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we will not be returning to that location.

From the age 18 to 20, I was working Cashier, drive thru, cook and eventually promoted to Crew Traniner at a popeyes, it was always clean, if food reached a certain time and it hadn't been sold, it was to be discarded. Customer service was expected to be 100%.

I went to this particular popeyes and they had just opened, the customer service was horrible, and the food was not great, I ordered a 5 piece chicken strip combo with fries, coleslaw, red beans and rice and mash potatoes. The chicken strips were not fresh, the coleslaw looked old as if they saved it for the next day or let it sit out, it had a brown color to it (I didn't eat the coleslaw) the red beans and rice was watery, there was no flavor at all, zero taste. The mash potatoes were okay and the fries were okay. The fries may have been the only thing that was fresh.

After I ate some of the food, about 10mins later I started sweating and feeling nauseous. I ran to the bathroom with stomach pains and vomited. I couldn't stop vomiting and then I went to the urgent care to find out I had food poisoning. This was my very first meal of the day and I got sick following right after ingesting the food.

I will NEVER return back to this popeyes again.

The customer service is horrible the young lady that is at the drive through window, had the most nasty attitude and because they don’t have a microphone work your trying to hear what she is saying and she gets the attitude. But she talk bad and being combat inviting violence into the service with a customers. Sad but I would never go food was cold, not fresh and service is bad.

Every time I go to this location they are always out of nuggets, tenders, Mac ms sweet tea….. after waiting in the long lines they gave me the wrong food, I couldn’t get through calling and the lobby was closed so I left. Every time I go here I have to check my bag at the window to make sure it’s all there and right 9/10 times they give me the wrong side and I have to hand it back to them to get what I asked for!!!!!!!!!! Also when ever they do finally have the sides… now they don’t fill up the cups I pay full price for a regular side to get a tea spoon of Mac not even a full scoop!!!!! How????? The 5 stars they getting are from family and friends so the location won’t look so back. I worked retail so I know that trick.

Never order delivery from here. They have not once gotten my order correct. The drive thru is at least an 20 minute trip, and they never have all times on the menu (esp. wings or tenders). Of all of the Popeyes franchises, this is the worst. Don’t waste your money here; go elsewhere.

I'm a pescatarian so I always ask restuarants how they prepare their seafood items. The employee was nice about my concern and asked the fry cook if they use the same fryer/grease to cook the shrimp as the chicken. The fry cook replied, "yes!" I couldn't believe it. They can really get someone sick. Some people are allergic to shellfish. Y'all be careful.

Paid $22.00 for a 8 piece chicken meal and received only 1wing and 1 breast. Most 8 piece meals contain 2 breast and 2 wings. This place leaves a lot to be desired for service and product. I will never return.
