There is a LINE that is not moving because 3 employees were smoking weed in a red suv instead of working. They literally got out of the SUV in their Popeyes uniforms, crossed through the line of cars - LAUGHING and went in through the side door. Dumb, dumber and dumbest. This is the worst location ever. The employees prefer continuing their conversations than helping the 6 people waiting to order. They are always out of something, whether it’s 11am or 5pm and don’t show frustration bcuz they’ll use that as an excuse to be further rude and take longer to make your order.

Wanted to try out the new chicken nuggets. To my surprise they offer a 48 piece nugget for $22 so I said why not have lunch for the next few days? They look to be offering a new cheesecake cup too so I picked up one of those for $3 along with some red beans & rice.

Customer service:
The order took way longer than expected. It took almost 30 minutes just to get it out the door. The cheesecake cup was still half frozen (which makes me think they were waiting until they thawed.) 3/5

Chicken nuggets:
Presentation -
What you expect from Popeyes. Beautiful golden brown flaky breading. Just mouthwatering. 5/5

Taste -
They obviously meant this to be dipped because that cajun seasoning is nowhere to be found. It doesn't even seem like they seasoned it with the basic salt & pepper which is disappointing. The dips are nothing special. Popeyes seems to want to put a spin on normal dips & fail miserably. 3/5

Red beans & Rice:
Presentation -
Perfectly laid rice on top of the red beans. Probably the neatest I've ever seen it made. 4/5

Taste -
Fantastic. That's all you need to know. 5/5

Cheesecake cup -
Presentation - Frozen. Standard cheesecake look with the strawberry drizzle. 2/5

Taste:
Low tier. Crumbly/powdery. Everything is pretty subdued. Not too sweet, but underwhelming. 2/5

Overall this Popeyes is hit or miss. Some of it is not the fault of the restaurant itself since they aren't making the food from scratch. At least we still have that red beans & rice.

This 5 star rating is for Danaija l. She was Aawesome At the window. Great customer service. Knowledgeable, polite, patient, & even offered to make my biscuits fresh. Please keep her at the drive thru. She was very pleasant & kept a smile on her face e the ENTIRE TIME. Never made me feel like I was annoying her. I ordered from this Popeyes and they forgot several items. Also, if you get signature hot wings, I wouldn't recommend. It's not your regular buffalo hot and it tastes weird.

My order was $56 (2 four piece combos with a large red beans and rice) on Postmates and when the first driver gets there, they lie and say someone picked up the food already then Postmates sends a second driver and then after maybe 10 minutes. Postmates driver Cancel my order because Popeyes stealing the money and Lying saying someone came and picked up the food to the delivery persons! DAMN SHAME

The wings were horrible. They weren’t fully cooked every wing I split in half after biting into the first wing, was not fully cooked and you can see the meat wasn’t all the way cooked because you can see the red on the meat and the bone. Will never order from here ever again

Drive thru order- They mic doesn’t work so you have to drive to the window, which is normal for most Popeyes locations and why their lines are always so long. Ghetto employees and no hair nets. Do not eat there

Bad attitudes ! I drove up to the windows and the cashiers screams what??!!!! Like I was bothering her like I wasn’t supposed to be there. Crazy part is the managers was right next to her saw the whole thing and didn’t say a word the manager was too busy gossiping with the rude associate and another associate making drinks you can tell they slam dunked my good in the bag!!! Rude rude rude!! My pop tastes and smelled like mold too!! Never ever again! im reporting them to the state for lack of cleanliness. If you’re going to allow your employees to be ridiculously rude then at least have a clean establishment!!

I had to come inside because the drive thru was broken. Thankfully they had a sign up outside. Only a few people were inside so I thought it would be quick. I was wrong, but to be fair that was not the workers fault. One woman was twerking on live, while her friend was getting more hot sauce packages from an employee. I had a simple order. 4 piece combo dark with a 2 piece combo white. Both mild, with mash potatoes and 2 Sprites.

I would recommend coming inside to anyone going forward. My order was messed up multiple times in front of me before I left and I still ended up with white meat in my 4 piece dark combo.
First the two piece had fries but the worker caught that error. Second no drinks were made or given after passing me my food. Of course I mentioned my Sprites and then not one but two strawberry pop drinks were almost given to me. I say I ordered Sprite again, and finally got my correct drinks. I should have opened my bags and double checked my chicken before walking out.

I got home and realized the error with my 4 piece mentioned above. 30min drive back, plus I wouldn't have made it back before they closed. Gas is currently too high for all that. If you come here for dinner, make sure to triple check all your food.

Their service was terrible I ordered three chicken sandwiches and no one told me that they were ready they just had them sitting there on the counter.
The manager was no help at all his coworkers they were slow rude they had probably three different complaints in the time that I was there.
There was a lady with blonde and pink hair she was walking around with jeans that were really really too tight and she tied her shirt up in the back so it accented her butt I mean I thought it was just really inappropriate to be dressed like that in a place like that but I figure you know they just don't care but I think in reality that Popeye's franchise should see this.

The speaker was broken so they had to take orders at the window. I waited over an hour but they were very apologetic and accommodated me well so no real complaint 😊 She gave me a free drink and extra chicken nuggets. Accommodation makes a big difference.

They absolutely never have anything. The attitudes are terrible. The drive through microphone is “broken” they don’t even have the decency to put a sign up that says that the mic is broken. Customers pull up to the drive through window to at least attempt to place an order and the employees don’t even look over to greet, or even take the orders. They close at 11 but their doors are locked on both sides at 8pm. So if the mic is broke and doors are locked…..Customers aren’t being serviced, what work are the employees actually doing? (Will continue to reach out to corporate offices until they either get more responsible employees or worse they close down.) What’s the point of having an establishment in our neighborhood that isn’t even providing services?

The only only only reason I gave a 3 star rating is because the manager, the cooks, and especially the cashiers were very professional, presentable, hospitable, courteous, and well self cared! Also very clean and sanitary! (To the best of their ability) considering the conditions they have to accommodate for in this Popeyes store located at 95th and King Drive ave. Chicago IL!! I shame corporate for allowing this negligence to continue for over a year now! Drive up intercom broken and out of order, no working air conditioning inside facility , cooks are sweating and doing what they can to be sanitary! Renovation repairs are in desperate need (wood up to drive up window!) store is constantly very low on supplies so that customers can’t order, and sales/inventory have to be down because of customers leaving the drive thru line due to lack of service! Happens to be at the fault of corporate negligence to provide for this store!! This is unacceptable from/for valued customers and local community !! Consider it reported!

The chicken was excellent, as always.
This location is in terrible condition. The drive thru speaker system is out, likely been broken for a while. Placing the order at the window was challenging. After repeating it multiple times, my drink orders were still wrong.
But the chicken, biscuit and sides were amazing.
No chance I'm returning to this location.

They need to get their drive through speaker working or have someone out there taking orders. The wait time is to long, been there 3 times and left because I was tired of waiting for my order to be taken. Just close the drive through and have people come inside.

My mom and I came around 8pm on Monday. Katrell and Destiny's customer service exceeded expectations. We left the restaurant happy. the food was hot and wonderful. We will be back soon.

After getting to Popeyes, I had my receipt to get a free meal for buying a lot of meals from them. The young man called the boss, and he stated that I could only get dark meat, not white meat, but I have three receipts, no white meat no matter how much I spend there.

I stop by after going to the DMV. It was 10:15am the doors were closed and locked. I did not see any staff inside until one staff member walked up tried the door couldn't get in we ask what time with it open and all she said was soon but the doors didn't open till 10:50am.
I know because I had to sit across the street at the bus stop the whole time and watch the store while I was hungry

I had a order that wasn't supposed to be on line with a code.. and a free sandwich...I went to store paid for it but didn't realize I was supposed to get a 2nd one free..got home. Was told I missed the free sandwich.. so I went back I was told I needed a code... but thankfully I was given the free sandwich...I applaud the server...

Waited for 20 minutes for 11pc dinner and a 5pc chicken dinner. This location didn't have boxes for the chicken they had to wrap up the chicken in aluminum foil, they didn't have no hot sauce, no red beans and rice and they only had Sprite and Orange Soda. The cashiers was very unpervesonal and they all had bad attitudes including both managers.
This was my last time supporting this restaurant SMH

The cook had obviously burnt some chicken. I completed my order online, still had to wait 40 minutes. Take my order home and the chicken had the disgusting burnt taste to it. Will not return to the one on East 95th Street!
