This place has changed a lot. I came a year ago and it was delicious to eat here. Today I ordered a rice combined with chicken, pork and shrimp to take away and I had to go back to the store and show them what they gave me a box full of pure rice had no chicken or pork or shrimp. For God's sake, I wouldn't go back here.

I’m sorry guys but this food is SO BAD! Please do not waste your money. I ordered chicken fried rice and I am AMAZED that anyone can mess up chicken fried rice the way they did. The first piece of chicken tasted SPOILED! I instantly spit it out. Of course, I decided to try another piece and was chewing on chicken like it was bubble gum! I couldn’t believe it. If I want to chew until my jaw is sore, I will order steak well done 😂 but that’s not what I was looking for. 0/10. Pretty sure they are using cheap precooked cubed chicken straight out of the bag. It was horrible guys. I was so upset, I wanted to take the food back to the restaurant and have them taste it! 😭 But I would’ve been there for 40 nights and 40 days waiting on them to finish chewing that chicken. You’ve been warned!

Ordered orange chicken, fried rice & crab Rangoon. Crab Rangoon was just fried crisps with no filling! That was totally left out. Orange chicken skin was falling off with alot of pieces just the dough no chicken. Fried rice was bland as well

I ordered the egg foo young lunch special. On the menu it stated that the special came with egg roll and a SODA. Once my order was ready I asked for a soda and was told no water and she just shoved the bottle of water at me. RUDE ! The worst food ever Bland no taste! Will not be returning. I also informed the cashier that they need to change their menu to reflect that you do not get soda with your lunch special.

Moved to Chicago from New York so I’ve had my fair share of good chinese food and this rivals some of the places I’ve had in New York. Good portions, good prices and awesome hot food. Milk tea is also delicious which is an awesome added bonus. Will definitely be coming back!

I ordered sesame chicken from this restaurant as I have many times. This time the sauce on the chicken had an unusual and bitter taste. The chicken did not taste right either and the rice didn’t even fill the container. I called and tried to explain this to the restaurant and they were argumentative and indicated the dish alway is the same. Unfortunately they have lost a customer because the refused to offer any understanding. I was pushed off the phone by the failing restaurant personnel. DO NOT EAT at this establishment or you are doing it at your own peril.

They offer General Taos chicken but it’s Governers chicken. I’ve been going here for 20+ years. Taste nothing like it use to. Was told Governers and General Taos are the same. The old general Taos had no ORANGE flavor

Order the lunch shrimp lo mein spicy. Noodles were mushy, not spicy and only received meal was told there was no lo mein lunch. This place has went down tremendously.

I am not sure what has happened at this establishment, but My family and I order from them often. Last week I picked up an order of Orange Chicken with broccoli. The broccoli was so hard to chew that I couldn't eat it. It looked like it had gotten old and then was cooked. This was the first time I had this experience at this restaurant. This was pretty bad.

A regular day relaxing and decided to order Chinese food while watching the NBA and relaxing with family and what a disappointment. None of our orders were correct! The egg foo young was cold, I ordered spicy rice it was not spicy, my Mongolian beef was missing, the potions was skimpy, and they gave us nothing but excuses when we called back up there. Definitely my first and last time ordering from here

If I could give less than one star I would. My first time trying this place out and I was disappointed. It took them 40 minutes to give me a large combination fried rice. Even though I inquired about my order twice. They were busy making dozens of delivery orders. Anyway the rice was extremely dry. The chicken was old,shrimp are extremely small and the beast was extremely tough. The girl who gave me my order had an attitude because I waited in there forever. I will never ever go back to this place again.

I used to come here all the time I live in the area. I started to notice that depending on who’s working the register the prices are deferent. If the guy behind the register rings you up he charges you more. I came in one day and ordered the same thing I had the day before and was charged way more. And they play you on the shrimp.

This place has changed over the years. I used to love coming to this place when I was a resident of Illinois. Now, the service is abrupt and borderline rude. The food was not good at all. The chicken was decent, but the rice which is usually amazing was dry and not what I asked for. They have these new teas and they were yummy except my daughters had several pieces of hair in hers. If I didn't have to travel so far back to the restaurant I would've taken it all back. I was disappointed.

WOW!!!! THE BEST. The cleanest tasting seafood we've EVER had. Freshest veggies. Not under or overcooked. Extremely generous portions. Amazingly reasonable prices. LOTS of shrimp in dish. Their batter on the fried items was verrrry tasty & reheated well. Really nice people. Horrible egg rolls. lol. Can't wait to go back. You must try them. Oh, also a HUGE array of specialty drinks. YUM. Those are also fairly priced compared to other restaurants & large sizes. ENJOY!!!!!

We went to grab a quick bite at the See Thru in my new neighborhood. I used to go to the one on Cottage Grove. I paid and have a practice of checking my receipt to see if I was charged the correct tax. Sure enough, the tax was way higher than it should have been.(10.25%) I told the gentleman at the register and calculated the tax again in front of him. He kept saying he didn't know what the tax should be and to talk to the boss. I just wanted him to refund the difference. He cops an attitude so I leave. I have been noticing the last few years that fast food joints and some sit down places constantly charge too much tax. Some areas in Chicago can charge extra, not Beverly though. The rate is 10.25% ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS. These places are getting over. On top of all this, the food was just okay.

STINGY WITH THE WHITE RICE

I ordered a large Shrimp Egg Fu Young and a large Beef Broccoli and was only given 2 small white rice containers. This was food for 3 adults. I asked for more rice and was told they were large containers of rice. WRONG! I had to show him his own display of rice containers and point out I had 2 small containers NOT large containers. He then told me that I only get one small rice for a large order??? What if I order a small order, I don’t get rice?

I just paid over $20 for the meal. Why must I argue over $1.50 of rice (retail) that must have only cost him at most .50 cent (cost)?

Btw the Shrimp Egg Fu Young was overcooked and had a slight burnt taste. It was even the wrong color, a dark brown WITHOUT the sauce on it.

This place is horrible! I ordered I chicken and shrimp fried rice, when I went home I found myself chewing on little bones! I look into the container and it was some type of bones in there, (pictures is in their photos) they couldn’t describe or tell me what it was! They acted like they didn’t want to give me a refund and told me to never come back, as if I was going to! I posted the picture of my order in their photos so you all can see what they really served me! It’s literally the picture with whatever the creature was w/bones. It’s really true when they say you don’t know what these Chinese restaurants cook in your food!

This place sold me old reheated food. No regard for the public’s health and safety. The shrimp wasn’t deveined. The chicken was rubbery. I ended up throwing $50 worth of food right into the trash. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Lady on the phone gave me attitude (very rude) when asking questions poor customer service and very loud in background, had to yell!

Asked for jumbo shrimp and she told me no jumbo shrimp. Told her I got them before, she said : "not with lunch special"... Never asked for lunch special

Customer service was poor. They do not practice proper use of PPE. They cross contaminate germs. I literally just watch the clerk rub on her ears l, mask and clothes with gloves on. Then began packaging my food. She did not change her gloves or wash her hands, not even after I asked them and acknowledged to poor use of PPE. Once I confronted the manager who took my order AND WAS HANDLING MONEY he also didn’t wash his hands and nor did he change his gloves. So unsanitary and poor practice especially with this pandemic going on I will never return

They messed up my order. After explaining to them that I have COVID, they wanted to take my order and recook it instead of just making a new one. I thought they just wanted to see it, but to actually recook the same food! That was unacceptable with or without Covid! I will never eat there again!

I order general chicken combo and the shrimp foo young combo and a small shrimp fried rice and crab raccoon not only did I have to wait for over a hour after I called order in and waited 30 mins before going to pick up They gave me the wrong order I understand that things get crazy in a restaurant but at lease let the food be good that was the first thing we had to eat that day and we didn’t eat it after a couple of bites I ended up cooking instead

Very friendly, they messed up my order but they made everything right. Food is delicious, this will be my new Chinese spot.

If I could give less than a star I would. This place is horrible. The reviews are spot on. The food is horrible and the service goes along with it. To all my fellow kings and queens, do not give these people your money. They should be shut down. All the food I ordered was over cooked and hard as a rock. These people will keep this up as long as they keep getting our money. I would rather eat the Chinese food out of the mall then this place. No way this place should be in business. Please do not give these people your hard earned money.
