4 stars on atmosphere only because of the friendly customer who greeted us as we walked in. Ordered 50 wings which were mediocre and greasy. Also purchased some taffy grapes and they were Molded! Called the store and the response was oh I have more and this one looks ok, come get another one🥴. First and last time

This is by far the most disgusting place I've ever visited, to think these people can come into our neighbor and sell the most disgusting food and have the nastiest attitude I've ever encountered is beyond me.... Let's hope this place doesn't last 6 months.

You'll regret spending your money at this location, the food is AWFUL... Go to J & J on 67th & Damen the food & atmosphere is much better!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! My chicken was fried so hard there was no meat left under the excessive amount of breading. This picture is what was supposed to be a chicken thigh but it's missing the chicken and the thigh. Do better JJ

yes, worth the wait. great cooks. everyone tastes good. they have specials, but still pricey. loved the chicken. easy on lemon pepper don't need it. plenty parking can get sketchy at night.

My chicken was covered in feathers. This makes me feel like they didn’t clean the chicken properly. So gross. I do not recommend this location.

Worst customer service ever. Cashier needs a better attitude and leave her personal problems at home. Won’t spend another dollar here.
Reading most of the reviews here looks like the owner of this place doesn’t care about the business.
Most of them have complaint about her attitude and yet she continues giving paying customers bad service.

This is by far the dirty and filthiest place ever. The fat chick on the register has some ugly attitude. The cook didnt wash his hands every single time he would go to the back and come back to cook the food again.. I am disgusted and embarrassed I even stopped by to get lunch..They took over 20 min to get my order done while it was sitting in the counter. She denied to give me my refund. Petty $7 and some change but the worst service ever. If I can give them 0 stars I would. I called to Speak with a manager and the cashier knew it was me and decided to hang up the call.. she needs to be replaced otherwise the business will continue to have bad service.

Wanted to give a zero but couldn't. Cashier is always rude if it wasn't for the guy in back cooking my food I wouldn't get anything and this is the best around. How dare she say no one can order any small orders like 4 wings smh when it's clearly on the menu. Second cashier comes in she didn't even want to open the door to let her in called for one of the cooks to open door. Second cashier puts coat up walking into our conversation to side with her fellow employee like she knows what's going on since when does adding on makes you say people getting on your nerves!!!!! I saw a hiring I hope it's to replace them both!!!!! Need to find one as great as this one until customer service is put in place!!!! Yall gotten my last $60.

The food is good, the restaurant is conveniently located, and the cooks are nice, but the cashier could be friendlier. There is also a $5 minimum purchase for debit/credit cards.

Chicken wings with dry and they taste like they was cooked in the same all that the fish is cooked in although the lady said that they don't cook them together because I have allergy to fish but I could taste the fish in the chicken wings and I called and again she said no and everything was cold and dried out

Got 2 orders of a six-piece this evening about 6pm and it was god awful! Chicken was old and dry from being refried and sitting. I have NEVER gotten chicken like this from here and if I didn't live so far and the fact it was New Years Eve I would've brought that mess back😡😡😡

1. Cashiers are rude. They act like you owe them for ordering.

2. They will not give you appropriate condiments for your order.

3. If you ever have an issue it won’t be solved because no one ever knows where the manager is.

4. In general just take your money elsewhere and support black-owned businesses that show you respect and decency.

Chicken really had no flavor only got added from lemon pepper on top and small portion fries with 8 piece leg and thigh, but food was hot and fries good. Mild sauce also decent.

My food looked nothing like the order. It was not a catfish filet.
It was full of bones.
Food cold
It took way too long
Paided way to much for this
Portions was small.

I walked in and ordered 25 wings with fries. Next guy in line ordered 4 wings. Next person ordered a combo of wings and fish. The third person after me ordered 10 wings. I didn't say anything when 4 wings got his food. He was homeless. I asked if they forgot about me when the combo order for their food. I was assured that they didn't forget. When the 10 winds got their food, I asked how could 20 wings ordered after my 25 be ready before? I was told by the light skinned tatted cashier to calm down. I was calm. Probably to calm that they thought they could water my time. When I told her or didn't make sense for my fis to come after theirs, she told me they were call ins. That lie to my face is the reason for this review. They all had number tags just like I did cuz they ordered in store. If you're time is money, skip this place.

I eat here often and I really have no problem with service or the food. What I am noticing is that one of the cooks wear his mask on his chin. Also there are customers who aren't masked nor are they asked to wear one.

I had been coming to this place for years. I started getting my wings dipped in either BBQ sauce or buffalo sauce. Usually the bare wings are just fine. But when you order dipped wings, the cook goes and get wings from the fridge that have blood riddled throughout the meat, then he’ll fry them and dip them so you can’t visually see what you’re biting into until it’s too late. I’m tired of that. I’m never going back again. It’s deceitful.

The catfish was fresh and crispy
