Seashell Restaurant on 111th

I visited Chicago, and a friend recommended this spot for a quick bite to eat.
The food was fresh and hot. The catfish filets, fish sandwich, whole wings, fries, and pizza puffs were all good!
The prices were awesome for the amount of food you get.
Disappointment:
Wings could've been bigger.

Recently visited this establishment for the 10 pcs 🍗leg & thigh an it was pretty good, well seasoned and cooked just right.(update) apparently they no longer have the same cook because the food quality has a slight decline in it, no offense too people of different cultures that try their hand at cooking for other cultures when it come to food. My suggestions are get someone who actually knows what their doing.🤔

I ordered two Italian beefs w/double the meat for $20 and received two regular beef's valued at $12, before leaving I mentioned to the cashier that the bag was so lite that double the meat could not have been added. The Cashier rudely continued to play with her hair braids and insisted my order was correct. I work at Roseland Hospital and only visit here once weekly, but it is sad that in urban communities poor service is provided by our own people with no regards.

Ordered food through grub hub The cook completely burnt my steak sandwich and instead of re cooking it he decides to send it out anyway. Terrible. I wouldn’t even serve this mess to a dog. Shame on the cook for doing this, nobody have money to waste these days. The meat was burnt too not just the bread.

The food is good! The service sucks 👎🏾 they need to be a little more organized and have a system when it comes to the orders… and the cook grab his dirty phone while preparing my food with the same gloves on…they need to CLEANN UPPP they need some hot shot floggers and zevo fly trap to get rid of all those gnats cause I shouldn’t have any gnats flying around my face or around my food.

When I tell you this place has some of the best chicken from a restaurant I have had in years. It's reasonably priced. Deals for the family. Amazing crispy delicious chicken. The French fries are delish. The swiss mushroom burger delish. The gyro was decent. I recommend this restaurant.

Chante has great customer service. She goes above and beyond. She not only takes orders She help the cook out as well. I've seen her cook a burger and other things.

I'm done with this. This is the 2nd time in recent history that they have gotten my order wrong. If you want unnecessary aggravation, go to this place. If they pay attention to the orders, and follow instructions like intelligent people do, then you wouldn't need a sign warning people to check their food. It's not a hard job. There's quite a few choices for food on 111th street, but this shouldn't be 1 of them.

The batter is just Extraordinary! The buns are so fresh you'd swear they bake them daily! You must try the lemon salt seasoned fries - none other will ever be good enough again.

The GREATEST within two months I ordered four different times and the chicken tasted awesome, fantastic and great. When you order your meal the chicken doesn't taste rubbery. No pre-cook like the stores on east 95th. & east 79th. Keep up the good work. Thank you

I ordered Catfish and it was fried perfectly and it was fresh and it was really good!!! The service was great! Thank you for being a restaurant that you can trust in your community.

I ordered the chicken wings and they were fresh and fried the way I like them. I’m glad they use Grubhub. The service is good.

The employee was eating cheese fries while taking my order. She got cheese on my change. I told her she shouldn't do that and she wanted her hands. The cook in the back was cooking raw chicken. I ordered a burger and fry. He did not wash his hands and started preparing my food. I got a refund and walked out. Do not eat at this restaurant

My Italian beef meat was thick,tough, and just seem like it was put on my sandwich fresh out the container. #undone And when I went to return it they told me I was to check my food before leaving. If I would have known to eat my food before leaving I don’t think I would have ordered it.

Where do I start.... this place is so unprofessional! On of the cashier's was cursing my entire 20 minute wait. The customer service was horrible. They completely messed up on my order. I called and they supposedly gave me a credit for my next visit not sure I'll be back to use it though. If you do choose this place for a semi quick bite to eat don't be surprised at the behavior and language of the staff, and definitely make sure you check your order before leaving.

I order from this place all the time, but today marks the last time. I ordered the two 10 wings for 20$, 2 orders of onion rings and a lemonade and a rc, they didn't send my lemonade and the rc, the delivery person says he will bring them back, how they didn't give it to him. The time was 6:15pm the time now is 9pm. I've called several times and they keep saying that it is on the way , well I guess they was coming from St.Louis.. NEVER AGAIN will order from this place again I probably would have done better getting chicken wings from skylake Chinese food next door..
