El Jacalito

El Jacalito has the best Tacos in the south side!! The steak Taco is the tastiest Taco I had since I was in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The place is very small and old fashioned. You must get here early if you wanna get a table, since there are only three and a few cafeteria style seating... The food is very consistent every time I been here and that is fantastic. Try the Super Taco, and you will be hook for good.

The food here is really good authentic Mexican food. The portions are great as are the prices. One of my favorite things to get is the gordita de chicharron con chile I highly recommend it. I’ve tried several dishes and this time I had the huarache de asada and was not disappointed. The food is consistently good. The family that runs the restaurant is also super welcoming and friendly. If you support small local family owned businesses this is definitely one to to try.

The food was amazing..I loved the small hole in the wall type theme they have going on. However, it shouldn’t take 30-40mins to cook a burrito dinner. Next time I’ll call an extra 20-30mins before I leave the house.

No name on building didnt know about it until my husband told me. I had the steak Torta and man for $6.99 that bad boy was big and delicious and full of flavor. Great value. My husband had the $8.99 Steak burrito also 🔥. Will be back. Also staff is very nice.

I ate 3 steak tacos within the hour, I became sick! Food poison 😔. My daughter ate 3 chicken tacos and she enjoyed her meal. The services was great! If that helps any.

Really good restaurant. Even tho is small its quality its amazing. I had eaten here back around 2009 i think and barely came back this year even tho the pandemic and the tacos, meat and all food in general still have that good taste that I remember.. Such good flavors. Try the Al Pastor super taco. 👍

I just payed 10.50$ for a big burrito w carne asada descent price I give this place a 3.5
Would hv been a 4 if the carne asada had better flavor. But the salsa helped.

Muy buena comida, ordene 3 gordita dinner. 2 de asada y una de chicharrón en salsa verde. Todo tiene buen sabor. No pica la salsa verde pero le da buen sabor. Primera vez que voy, pero no será la última vez. Recomiendo ir con mucha hambre. El precio es un poco alto pero la comida si lo vale. Entró una pareja cuando estaba pagando la cuenta. La pareja nunca había ido ahí. Dijeron que les recomendaron el restaurante, igual les dije que yo también fui recomendado. Ahora yo voy a recomendar el restaurante.
