Absolutely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. There's a great selection of food and drinks. My favorite drink is the agua de tamarindo (tamarind water). Though they have your typical tacos, tortas and quesadillas, I definitely recommend la tampiqueña (see pictures). You can order it with a steak or grilled chicken.

Not a very Good service I was there today to have breakfast with my Family we got there at 10:00am they were not that busy. The waitress took our order at 10:30 by 11:14 we ask the waitress what was taking them so long to serve us or food customers who got there after us they were all ready eating. She told us let me check and see. She never put the order in . We just ordered some chilaquiles that was all we are never going back to this restaurant

Hay como 10 meseras solo riéndose entre ellas, pedimos comida para llevar y ni siquiera se habían dado cuenta que ya estaba ahí el pedido, hasta que nos levantamos a preguntar y todavía se molestan porque uno pregunta.
Mejor que se pongan a trabajar en lugar de estar jugando

Hoy fui a comer una Carne a la tampiqueña. La carne riquísima suave acompañada de un guacamole y salsa de molcajete. Lo más rico que he comido en mucho tiempo. La mesera muy amable.

Fuimos a comer hace unos días aparte del tiempo que te hacen esperar el mal trato de las meseras, pedí tacos dorados de pollo lo que la carne estaba echada a perder sabia tan mal que a la primera mordida saque el vocado, a mi hijo le pedí una quesadilla de requeson qué también el requeon estaba echado a perder tenia sabor amargo las autoridades deberían de checar eso y cerrar el lugar.
La verdad no vale la pena perder tu tiempo ni tu dinero en comida echada a perder.

This place it has been awesome for many years but I was a little disappointed with green chilaquiles I had recently. They weren't bad but they were not good either. They should have been extraordinary! That's how awesome the food has always been. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

Es ridiculo que te cobren la propina por adelantado, fuimos 4 personas consumimos $118 dólares más ellos pusieron recargo de la propina y subió a $137 dólares y por usar tarjeta de crédito 💳 o débito un cargo más del 3%.

No vuelvo a ir a ese restaurante es un Robo el sistema 😡 que usan .
Devén avisar ese recargo por adelantado.

It's great, I love the food, my parents love the food and the service is incredible. I love the waitresses they're welcoming, humorous, and provide a comforting sense to the restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice:) important note:if you go to the bathroom and spend more than 5 minutes without movement the lights will turn off on you

Horrible customer service. We spoke to someone at the restaurant about getting catered for 40 people and we told them we would come Saturday to order they told us 10$ per person on the phone as soon as we got there they upped the price to 15 per person. Idk who conducts buisness like that but you don’t tell people one thing and then change last minute. We spoke 2 times before we even got there Saturday and now we have to scramble to look for something last minute for my daughters birthday. This place is garbage I wouldn’t order a taco from these people. She even acknowledged the price was told to us in the phone and automatically changed the price when we walked in. Thanks alot trash.

Me and my wife eat tacos hers came out salty and one of them came out raw. The waitress did here best but the food was an epic fail. I am very disappointed with the place. The order also took long to come out and when it arrived it came out room temperature it was not even hot. Epic fail.😔

Parking could be tough if you go during lunch. The food does not disappoint! Had the chilaquiles, they were delicious! The carne asada was cooked to perfection. The service is great!
The only downfall is the parking.
Recommend!

Vi como una mesera daba pesimo servicio a una clienta que luego, luego se veia que era de un alto nivel educativo. La mesera hasta se burlaba de ella con la otra mesera. Escuche que la clienta pidio tacos vegetarianos porque ella no comia carne y la mesera le dijo que ahi no hacen eso. Como rayos no pueden servir arros y fijoles dentro de una tortilla??? Como ella pedia??? Luego la mujer dijo entonces deme un sope de flor y la mesera le dijo, "tampoco hacemos eso, solo le puedo ofrecer sopes de carne, pero no podemos poner flor a un sope". Es increible el nivel de esta mesera, que luego escuche se burlaba de esa clienta con la otra mesera, por pedir tacos vegetarianos. La mesera era de pelo negro, largo, charrita, gordita, morenita y con dientes de oro. No se quien sea el dueno, de este local, pero esta muy mal que se burlen de los clientes y aparte, esta mesera haciendo que pierda dinero el lugar porque a todo lo que la mujer queria le dijo que no se podia hacer. Por eso que vi ya no vuelvo mas. Y habia mas personas en el restaurant que escucharon a esa mesera riendose con la otra mesera flaca. Que nivel mas bruto el de esas mujeres. Envien a sus meseras a entrenamiento, a cuantas personas no le han hecho eso, seguro por eso se alejan los clientes.

Definitely won’t be going back this was the first time I try them out I walk in no one greets me than the lady comes to take the order . I let her know I was not decided on my order . So I gave her my sons order from the kid’s menu. So she can atleast put in his order. 10 min later she comes and says are you ready to order ,if not so I can put your sons order. I tell her that’s why I gave you his order so you can put his in first . She than said she didn’t I still hadn’t decided but I just said give me 2 tacos . I had also already gave her our drink order in the beginning with my sons order a lemonade and chocolate shake . She takes the order comes back with a cup that’s in the shake cup and it is foamy the lemonade. Never have I seen a lemonade that has a thick white foam at the top of the glass . I ask her is this the shake . She responded by saying you ordered a lemonade didn’t you? This is what you ordered you ordeded a lemonade and a shake did you not ,Very aggressive . I was honestly asking . A simple no ur shake is coming up would have been fine . I had enough of the disrespect. I walked up asked to pay for the chips and salsa atleast. She gave me another attitude said well the chips are free . I walked out . Never ever again !!!!

Definitivamente no volveré, esta fue la primera vez que los pruebo. Entre, nadie me saluda y la señora viene a tomar el pedido. Le hice saber que no estaba decidido sobre mi pedido. Así que le di el order de mi hijo Para que al menos pueda hacer su pedido. 10 minutos después, ella viene y dice: ¿estás listo para ordenar? Si no, puedo poner el orden de tu hijo. Le digo que es por eso le di su orden para que puedas poner la primero. Ella dijo que no, todavía no lo había decidido, pero solo dije que me diera 2 tacos. También le había dado nuestro pedido de bebidas al principio , una limonada y un batido de chocolate. Ella toma el pedido, regresa con una taza que está en la taza de batido y está espumosa la limonada. Nunca he visto una limonada que tenga una espesa espuma blanca en la parte superior del vaso. Le pregunto si este es el batido. Ella respondió diciendo que pediste una limonada, ¿no? Esto es lo que pediste, pediste una limonada y un batido, Muy agresivo. Estaba preguntando honestamente. Un simple "no tu batido viene" habría estado bien. Tuve suficiente de la falta de respeto. Caminé y pedí pagar las tostadas y la salsa al menos. Ella me dio otra actitud y dijo que son gratis. salí Nunca más !!!!

I did have a meal. It was good. I am disappointed that I was told that I had won a prize. Upon going back to the establishment, I was told that the prize had been rescinded as 7 days had passed. How is a prize won and then rescinded? This is not a good and honest business practice. Honesty and honor is everything

A wonderful restaurant good ambiance. I feel comfortable eating there as they follow current guidelines. Enough of the boring stuff. They have an amazing rice dish that has delicious tempered shrimp and it's covered by a creamy Chipotle like sauce. I enjoy this dish so much with a side of savory steak tacos that's right savory steak tacos are my side. The rice dish is that amazing. Yum.

Excelente servicio, me encanta el servicio de todas en específico de Lupita, es una persona muy agradable y servicial, no hagan caso a los comentarios de una persona, qué se esconde detrás de un nickname para desprestigiar a otra persona, esta persona “ Chona Merengues” no sabe la calidad de persona qué es Lupita, solo habla porqué tiene boca, lo digo y lo repito, es una persona sin “ huevos “ para poner su nombre real y dar la cara.

Pesimo servicio.
La mesera no me llevo tenedor.
Comi con las chips.
Se le cayo la splenda que pedi. Y la puso en mi mesa....
Me hiso repetirle mi horden 3 veces.

El sirvicio ha cambiado mucho..para mal en ves de que mejoren.
Te sirven la comida como si la midieran por cucharadas...
Lo frijoles quizas sean 4 cucharaditas.
Pienso que se sienten como meseras de un restautant. 5 star como para dar ese servicio?
He comido en restaurants de primera donde el servicio y trato no es nada como esto.
La calidad ha bajado mucho tanto en la comida como en el servicio.
Tengo mas de 20 anos vi iendo aqui pero si siguen asi..van a perder los clientes.

Bueno el día 17 de octubre del 2021 pasamos a cenar nos encanta la comida de ahí es buena, las meseras del turno de la mañana son wow hermosas personas en cuanto la atención en especial Cristina una mujer que de ella deberían aprender las del turno de la noche en especial una llamada Ana que nos hicieron esperar una hora para nuestra orden de paso atendió a dos mesas que llegaron una igual que nosotros y la otra después de nosotros a ellos les sirvió la comida y aún terminaron de comer y a nosotros nunca volvió para decir su orden está por salir ni nada. Tuvimos que retirarnos porque ya era tarde para seguir esperando incluso a los que llegaron después de nosotros les dijo que ya estaban lavando todo porque ya iban a cerrar entonces cuando nos fuimos aún se enojaron por eso sí le descuentan la comida pues lo siento pero pues que se pongan las pilas

Very good Mexican food , service is great , although when I asked for a Machacado they cook the Cecina meat and mix it with the egg's , me being from MONTERREY, I'm used to having it with carne seca, Mexican beef jerky, which gives it a whole different taste. Priced rite you will enjoy the food.
