Tacos were changed and are no longer the best tacos in Chicago. Complete turn around to the worst tacos I’ve ever tasted. Won’t be returning ever. No green sauce. Their Red sauce makes the taco even worse. Won’t be returning at all

Edit: Super unprofessional replies from management, claiming I am not posting from a real account which seems a little petty of them. This is simply my opinion and experience I want to share with others so they don't make the same mistake. I never claimed that asking for no toppings meant that the price would change, I simply mentioned that they could not follow directions when I asked for no onions. I would like to reiterate, the salsa was not included in one the orders as well. Do yourself a favor and find a better taco place, as there much better ones in Chicago for a decent price. I would also like to note, that if a restaurant receives a bad review, they usually try to make it right instead of talking down on the person. It seems that this place wants to be perceived as unprofessional.

It is $13 for 3 tacos which is actually so insanely expensive considering I asked for no onions on 3 out of 6 of them and they did not listen. The salsa they gave was not very good either and they were left out with one of the orders. Save your money and go somewhere else. The steak was old too. Really disappointed considering I spent so much money on terrible tacos.

Found them on DoorDash and the food was amazing! Best quesabirria in Chicago. The tacos were large and reheated well the next day. Can’t wait to try the other menu items. This is my new favorite place!

Staff are extremely unprofessional and ignored me. Had to reach my arm into the small window to grab my order, had no receipt so I had no way of differentiating the orders. Unprofessional will not be coming back save your money and get some real Mexican food where the food matches the service. Worker was too busy laughing on his phone, disgrace to Mexican cuisine.

Food reeks of smell !! I called & she literally tried to argue with me about they food not gone bad and they “sell this food all day” well ma’m I still have the food right here & it stank so bad ! Will be talking to the health department I’m filing complaint .

Everything is delicious and large portions. Love when they have a daily specialty item! The brunch is amazing, chili rellenos burrito is unreal, chicken sandwich, tacos, cubano and everything in between. My fav quick bite in the neighborhood.

I’ve tried many of the local Mexican spots that are highly rated and this lowkey place beats them all. Better burrito, tacos, churros, sauces, it wins at it all. It’s a tad more expensive than most places, but you’ll get more meat on your dishes. My most recent order I got the Quesabirria tacos and I was astonished by how much meat was in them. Felt like I ordered a steak!

It was nice, clean, and friendly. The tacos we had they were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised, we use to leave in this neighborhood, it was all Italian food, bakery, and delicious Italian ice, so, it was different to see a bar serving tacos, good food.

Placed and order online and wanted to call the store to ask a question about my order and some hung up the phone on my 3 times in a row and when I continue to call no one picked up. First time ordering from this place and never again at this point I don’t even want the food anymore just because the customer service is so trash I don’t trust the food. How can nobody be available to answer the phone and why continue to hang up on consumers. Currently canceling my order.

I am not gonna see this business be trashed out here because their "Food is smelly". I've tried this food many times and It has never been smelly. This is cultural food that people eat on a regular basis. Time and time again people have used "smelly" to refer to cultural food with seasoning. Sorry if you just like salt and pepper on your food but not me. The seasoning is the defining factors of this establishment. If your little delicate pallets cant handle alittle bit of spice then please enjoy tacos else where. The food is not smelly. Thank you educate yourself and make yourself aware that "smelly" is a word used by people to put people of color's food down! The food is amazing and I have gone to their food truck and this establishment as well and hands down the best mexican food.

Found this place on google. Was pleasantly surprised to find it was in a bar. Was unpleasantly surprised to find the food was terrible and overpriced. Ordered a veggie burrito that didn’t have beans, lettuce, sour cream, or guac as advertised

Was not expecting it to be THAT good.
Friendly staff. Food came quick. Tacos are quality.
The birria was amazing.
It’s in a bar, so makes it easy to grab a drink

Do whatever it takes to get to La Katrina to sample the creations of Jocelyn and Daniel. Everything they make has a wonderful balance of flavors, there isn't a boring item on their menu. These guys just have a gift for getting food right, you have to experience it.
