Went through drive thru. Waited a long time. Got to window and when she let window down to get my payment, apparently I wasn't fast enough, she shut the window and went on about her business. I did the same, I left and went on about my business.

I ordered nachos and thought I would get what I saw on the menu. They just drowned the chips in cheese and didn't give me the chicken I ordered on them. I took it back and they gave all the excuses of why it didn't look like the picture. I didn't argue I just stood there until she gave me my money back, never again. Check your food before you leave the premises. I live 5 minutes away and the chips were soggy by the time I got home.

Baby don’t go here for that taco beef deal. It’s a trick. Sat down and dined with my kids and felt like we were eating second hand food. The tacos served in the drive through tasted waaaaay better from when we dined in. Dine in tacos shell ends were hard and wet. The fiesta platter was a complete soggy mess. The chips taste and felt second hand used as if they weren’t tossed in the trash after the first customer had them. Be careful some Mexican spots do recycle appetizers chips-That’s disgusting

It’s Pepe’s your either like it or you don’t. It’s a Chicago thing possibly an Indiana thing. I feel like it’s one of those places you grew up eating it and still opt for it from time time out of nostalgia. Lately I get the hard shell beef tacos, they hold up better than the soft shell which tends to get soggy. Fries can be good if cooked well, I don’t usually get their rice and beans.

Service has gone down over time. I'm always missing items in my order which is frustrating once I get home.
Person packing the order should double check and not blame it on the "older man cooking."

The food is horrible but the staff is phenomenal. Best Pepe's is 85th & Cicero in Burbank. I promise you, it's worth the drive.

Just ordered on 12/18/19. Food was cold & beans tasted old. Took one bite out of a softshell steak taco and tossed it out, tasted funny. 10 min after eating my hard shell beef and some of the rice and old beans I vomited. Called repeatedly after vomiting, no answer, but they answered when I called before I went. I WILL NOT EAT HERE AGAIN!!!

Charges for all condiments. Other Pepe’s do not. Of course restaurant is located in an economically disadvantaged area.

I visited multiple Pepe's locations, and the taste of the food is different at each location, but this location needs to add a little more meat and have a tad bit more seasoning on the meat. But, I put hot peppers & sour cream on it to make it taste better. I will visit another time and try again, but not anytime soon.

I paid for a lot of food only to get home and see that my tacos had so little meat on them it was so frustrating I paid for nothing empty taco shells thank you Pepe's I no longer will be going back.. they have screwed up my order three times now so they're out

I normally go to the Pepe’s on East 79th but I was closer to this one I ordered two steak tacos and they were so nasty I threw it up and couldn’t even finish I only had like 2 bites I should have stuck with what I know I DO NOT RECOMMEND . The Pepe’s on East 79th is better .

But the greatest tacos but they get the job done. It's not too brightly lit inside the restaurant I don't recommend you eat inside. Take your food to go because the neighborhood using that great.

They destroyed my order. Asked for beans, I got none. Asked for cheese, no chees. Requested no tomatoes, taco was full of tomatoes. Requested cilantro & onion, got none. Listen & write the order down properly

Asked for item #1 the daily special and was charged for it. However, got 2 soft shell beef taco's and a small grape pop instead. I live more than a mile away so I didn't return. Friendly order taker but order was wrong. I will not be returning for awhile. TIP: Check order before leaving.

The steak tacos were over seasoned and the tortilla didn't taste authentic at all. Also had the beef nachos. Wasn't the best. The meat had a weird taste. Ate as much as I could but was not impressed.

Hello the prices for tacos is too high they should cost 1.29 not 1.50 and they want to charge extra for everything on special when I should come with it on every other thing. Also it like there beef have and after bit just do better on prices and stop charging for extra it wasn't like they was close doing the pandemic.

Asked for and paid for toppings i didnt recieve then i sat in my car and began to eat my nachos. Ate one half and got to the other to find 2 complete hard shell tacos (steal might i add) instead of chips under the meat and cheese of my nachos and would notgive me a refund. She said she can add more chips and cheese. I had to come in store twice which messed up my meal. I love pepes i do but sometimes there practices and employees dont care about the customer

They have a 4% up charge for credit debit card purchases. They didn't inform us before running the card and one notice actually states discount and the other is obscure. Just saying FYI, the food was alright though.
