Tacos Don Cuco

The food was trash. The counters are duck taped. I should have left when I observed this but it has that whole in the wall feel. The chicken taco was gross and dry. Steak was the same. I’ve never had a critique about a taco shell but here we are. The shell was ghastly. It was like ash from a fireplace. In the description it’s BYOB but I think you should bring your own tacos. This place is worst than steaming dog shit on a hot summer day.

They over packed the taco with meat like it’ll make up for the flavor or tender meat.

The chicken is shredded and dry the steak it cubbed right but it’s hard and not texture right on the chew.

I saw this place on a reviewer list come in at number 5. I’ve had a lot of tacos in Chicago this isn’t even number 15 on any list . I maybe should have tried the spot across the street or the 13 others Mexican taco places I passed on the way there .

Excellent tacos. They don't charge extra for sour cream, cheese aguacate. Huge tacos. I can only eat 2. Excellent shrimp tacos. Only place I'll eat them. $4.50 a taco. Their tortas come w sour cream and mayo. So order right. Variety of Mexican soda. Good salsas!!!

These are the most amazing shrimp tacos!! It's really authentic and fresh! And the sauces here are delicious! This place is pretty tiny, so you might wanna grab it to go. Also it's cash only, be prepared! Parking here is tight, but it is worth it. They have great tortas and sodas here as well. Make sure you try the sauces!

Been going there for 5 years now. You can never go wrong with al pastor, asada and cabeza also don't forget the shrimp. Love this place really old school style and it's BYOB (as long as u sure with the cook) 🤣🤣

Love this place. One of my friends introduced me to it. The cabeza or barbacoa are my go to tacos. Busy during lunch hour so expect a little but of a wait. Cash only for new comers. I drive from Bronzeville snd Hyde Park for these tacos.

This is a wonderful hidden gem for the Back of the Yards neighborhood , the shrimp tacos are exceptionally great ! Not what you would get in your traditional taqueria , but they’re doing something here that is not a miss ! Hit the tacos with the red spicy salsa and you got yourself a scrumptious taco

I don't know what happened, these are the worst tacos I had off of 47 street. The tacos was dry, over cooked and hard to swallowed. I only couldn't eat one taco.

These tacos are so delicious. Juicy warm and they add so much carne in the taco. Rice and beans are not that much of a hit as it is preheated in a microwave, but then tacos tho ..worth it!

Their shrimp and fish tacos are absolutely delicious. Tortilla is dipped In a sauce before being cooked and the shrimp is cooked to order. Not your cooked yesterday served today. These people are the real deal. I was brought here by some friends who are locals to the area. Not to much space inside for indoor dinning but you make with what you have. Staff is friendly.

Best tacos de camaron y pescado, the best!!! I come here at least once every 2 weeks. Even if I'm not around the neighborhood I'll still go out of my way to come here. Don't let the way the place looks throw you off. My dad has the same but also throws in a taco de cabesa. You will not be disappointed.

Walk in a women began taking our order with a pen and notebook and the she walks off to checkout out customers. We decided to change our order and a guy assisted with that he grab the pen and notebook and began writing the out of no where no gloves no hand washing no nothing grabs the shrimps and throws them on the grill the picked up the pen again.. stomach flu is a real things don’t think anyone wants to get sick maybe you should you gloves or one designated cook. My shrimp tacos smelled not the freshest but steak tacos from what my bf said was good
