J & J Fish

I had read a couple of bad reviews on this restaurant, but I decided to give it a try anyway. And to my joy and happiness, the crew was friendly and professional AND my order was perfect. The Catfish steaks and fillets were fried perfectly, crisp on the outside and delicate on the inside. Thanks guys for a great experience. I guess this goes to show that you have to judge for yourself.

I was looking on the menu for the Philly cheese steak, I want to know how much it costs 🤔. Went here and grabbed a 6 piece chicken the food was terrible and under cooked, the guy cooking was informed about the last 6 piece. The chicken wasn't cooked and that I would return it for my money back. So, before I left the store I checked the chicken and it was not cooked properly. The Mexican guy cooking doesn't know how to cook chicken or fish.
They don't care about the food that is served to the customer.
If you are hungry, AVOID this place. Also they aren't changing the cooking oil often enough.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The food was inedible. I ordered the chicken special (2 wings, 2 thighs, 2 legs) and catfish nuggets. The guy on phone was rushing and even though I said don't fry it hard a couple of times, the catfish was a brick, cold and looked like it had been refried more than once. The chicken was black to the bone.

Not sure what happened-new cook, new management- but it has turned me off this location.

Delivered half my food. The half thdt wad delivered was let in the rain in front porch aftet I was messaged and told the delivery person or someone we ould notify me when th order was about to arrive.

Wanted the white powder lemon pepper; never have I ever had the original lemon pepper seasoning .
Called in for them to say walk in only .

Ask them for FRESH food & watch them retrieve it & drop in for cooking. If not you will get old food. Nice people who take your order.

**Review of J&J Fish**

I recently had the chance to dine at J&J Fish, and my experience was quite underwhelming, especially considering the prices.

The menu offered a decent variety of fish dishes, and I decided to try the fried catfish. While it was fresh and crispy, I have to say it didn't quite impress me. The seasoning was quite bland, and I expected a bit more flavor for the price I paid.

Speaking of prices, I found them to be on the higher side for what you get. I was hoping for portions that would justify the cost, but they felt a bit lacking.

In summary, J&J Fish has potential, but it left me feeling that the experience didn't live up to the hype or the cost. If you're craving seafood, it might be worth checking out, but be prepared for prices that don't necessarily match the quality.

This is the best fast food restaurant I have been in and the boss is really nice and funny and makes many jokes that make many people laugh like me and my kids. He is really friendly with my kids and always makes them smile.

I always order the catfish or catfish steak dinner the food is good but the portions are small they need to increase and stop skimping on the fries the pieces of fish need to be bigger if you're paying for catfish steaks portions those are bigger pieces opposed to catfish but everything else is great they do real good job when you call in and place your order on the phone your food is ready when they say it is they always greet you with a smile and recognize their regular customers keep up the great work just go back to giving more fries and make sure that you get the right size portions that you paid for

I still say that the catfish is good and I'm a very picky person when you come to food and if I say it's good it's good this is the only place I will order my catfish from. I can't say anything else about others items on the menu because I don't know. I do know that their prices are over priced. I would go more often but the high prices limit my visits

I haven't had good fried perch from fast food restaurants in months. It seems the perch is different no matter where I go. However, the catfish is still the same and that's what I order. The prices are outrageous though. Which is why I'm becoming pescatarian and cutting out fried foods.

Those guys know how to fry fish right!!! Nice and flaky, not hard like chicken like those other places do!! I will be back!

I ordered a combo with shrimp and fish. The only good thing about the food was that it was hot! The food was absolutely disgusting and they use bare hands to cook the food!!! I will not be returning!!

I always order the catfish tails. They're so delicious and meaty. I requested no lemon pepper on my order and they inadvertently put it on my order. I was pleasantly surprised that they weren't heavy handed with the lemon pepper, which made the fish so much more palatable.

We've been going here for a long, long, long time & usually the service is fine. Placed an order the other day, picked up the food, got home & it wasn't what I requested. I called back & asked if they're able to see the notes & she says yes & begins to read them out loud. When she got to the specifics, she says, "Oh. I missed that. I'm sorry". That's it? Can u correct the mistake?

Very, VERY, Very Nasty attitude from Cashier young black lady. I will NEVER return to such a store. I ordered a Jumbo Shrimp and a large Catfish. She told me it will be 20 minutes. I arrived 30 minutes later. only the catfish as ready. When I asked, she stated in a very nasty voice, " we dont drop shrimp without payment up-front. I told her I didnt know that. I would not have ordered the shrimp if I had known that. She walked away from the window, rolled her eyes and said nothing else.

Not big on circuses, is clean, the lady taking orders was very nice and courteous, I will add the chicken breast I ordered was tasty, and plenty for my money, I recommend this JJ's.

I went to the location because it was opened. When I walked through the door, one of the employees not the cook told me the place had no more food. As I continued to approach the counter I saw cooked chicken . The cook stated you can buy the chicken on the counter. The other employee told me again their is no food. The cook stated let her buy the food on the counter because we are going to throw it away. The two employees started arguing. The arguing went on for 5 to 10 minutes. I just stood there and watched. I bought the food but the non cook was a jerk.
